Recently welcomed a springer spaniel to our household who we have been working hard to train. Please note any dog that comes to stay with us must be dog friendly due to already having a dog in the house. Love the outdoors and wandering round the parks/beaches and woodland areas that Inverclyde has to offer. Dote on animals and enjoy spending time in their company. Treat all pets as though they are my own. I will care for your pet in their own home by ensuring they feel safe, comfortable and loved whilst sticking to their normal routine. I follow all instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks or playtime to ensure that your pet remains happy and stress free. I also provide plenty of affection, attention and updates so that you know your pet is in safe hands.
About: I have a level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing as an auxillary nurse, I also had experience caring for animals in vets for pets as a placement. It has always been a passion to work with animals. I work part time as a care mentor in the community 3 days a week and will be free 4 days a week, to fit in to a daily routine. I have a communal garden at the back of my flat with locked gates and a locked gate at the front, of my flat, their is also woodland walks and parks nearby and ,were dogs can have lovely long walks.
About: My family had pet cats ,dogs,budgies ,hamsters when I was growing up,I've also owned cats and a cockotiel my dog passed over at 14 one year ago I now have plenty of time daily .I looked after my frail elderly mum daily.I am retiring November 2025.I would love to do what I love doing and that's looking after and care for your beloved pets . About: My partner and I bought our new home back in March and we are so excited to open it up to lots of dog friends! We’ve been the go to dog sitters for our friends and family for years, regularly looking after dogs for anything from quick weekend trips to fortnight long stays. Everyone recommends us as we couldn’t be bigger dog lovers! We’re used to keeping routines consistent, managing different temperaments, and making sure dogs feel completely at home (in the bed and on the furniture!!) We have our own 9 year old boy, Marley, but he actually has joint custody with my parents because they aren't quite ready to let him leave home full time yet! This setup works brilliantly for hosting: if your dog is great with other pets, Marley is happy to be there, but if your dog isn't good with other animals or just needs to be on their own, Marley will happily stay at his "grandparents'" house for the duration of the booking. Your dog will have full access to our house and although we have a flat with no garden it is by the water and full open plan. Plenty of walks, endless affection, and you'll get regular photo updates while you’re away. Both my partner and I work from home with extreme flexibility. We manage our own calendars which means your dog will rarely be left alone and gets company all day long. We have complete flexibility to stick to your dog’s usual daily routine, including regular toilet breaks, play sessions, and walks around our working hours. We live in a new flat open plan flat with a safe, quiet home environment and great local walking routes right on our doorstep. Our 9 year old dog, Marley, shares joint custody with my parents, meaning we can easily host dogs who need to be the only pet in the flat by arranging for Marley to stay with them. Your dog will have full run of our home and constant care while staying with us.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
