About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I previously had my own beloved cat, Pablo, who taught me so much about companionship, patience and the unique personalities animals have. Alongside my experience with dogs and cats, I’ve also worked as an equine therapy co-facilitator, supporting therapeutic work involving horses and people. This gave me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, nervous systems, emotional attunement and creating calm, safe environments, something I bring into the way I care for dogs too. I know how important it is to feel your dog is genuinely cared for whilst you’re away, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving home away from home experience where dogs feel secure, comfortable and included in daily life. I’m naturally calm, patient, attentive and playful and I take time to get to know each dog’s individual needs, routines and personality. I also regularly care for friends’ dogs, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines and needs and I genuinely love having dogs around the home and out on walks. I have a secure garden for dogs to relax and play in, and I’m also very close to both the beach and forest walks, so there are plenty of opportunities for calm nature walks, exploration and outdoor time during their stay. Whether your dog loves adventures, companionship, playtime or cuddles on the sofa, I’ll make sure they feel safe, settled and cared for. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and in good hands. I work Monday-Wednesday in an office but will do walks before and after work. I work in an office Monday-Wednesday so will do walks before & after work. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays with lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, playtime and cuddles. I’m also available over the weekends for boarding. I have a secure fenced garden where dogs can safely relax, play and enjoy outdoor time. I only take a small number of dogs at once so I can give each dog plenty of attention, care and supervision throughout their stay. I understand that every dog has different needs, routines and comfort levels, so I take time to help them settle in gently and feel safe in my home. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I always prioritise your dog’s wellbeing and emotional comfort. I live close to the beach and forest walks, providing plenty of opportunities for safe, enriching walks in nature. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routines, feeding schedules and any special care instructions to help them feel as settled as possible whilst you’re away

“My Labrador George has stayed with Donald multiple times now and to say Donald’s service and care has been outstanding would be an understatement. Myself and my girlfriend are incredibly picky about who we have mind George as we love him very much but we’ve found the perfect dog minder in Donald. George is always happy to see Donald and Margaret when we arrive and it makes parting with him for a few days a whole lot easier. Due to a flight delay and car trouble I was late to pick George up by about 3 hours one day and had no phone to update Donald, but this was absolutely no problem and when I turned up at close to 1am to collect George (embarrassingly) this was absolutely no problem with Donald as he’s incredibly accommodating. We’re incredibly lucky to have found a dog minder like Donald and Margaret.”

I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are safe, happy, and well looked after, and I always aim to provide calm, caring, and trustworthy support. I’m happy to follow feeding routines, provide regular walks, playtime, and give pets plenty of attention and care. I’m especially good with friendly family dogs and making pets feel comfortable and relaxed around me. I work Monday to Thursday, so I am available for pet care on Fridays, weekends, and some evenings depending on the time. I can also be flexible with advance notice. I’m happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet care during these times, and I will always make sure I plan my schedule properly so I can give pets full attention and reliable care. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and secure. I pay attention to feeding times, fresh water, walks, and any specific instructions given. I take a calm and patient approach with animals and always treat them with care and respect. I understand that every pet has their own personality, so I take time to make sure they feel safe and relaxed around me. I am based in North Ayrshire and am reliable, tidy, and respectful when visiting someone’s home. I always aim to provide trustworthy and consistent care so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I have my own dog who is 5 years old, neutered male who is very friendly. I have had dogs in my childhood life and often watch friends dogs & family dogs. I work from home Wed-Fri so will be with the dogs 24/7. I trained my own dog who I have had since he was a puppy of 8 weeks so have experience with pups also. I will be home with the dogs 24/7 as I work from home 3 days a week We have a local park where we can walk the dogs I have a fenced off garden and my own home. My dog who is 5 years old is very friendly and would love a friend to play with Dogs welcome for cuddles on the sofa if they wish

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life. I have my 9 year old male husky and my brother has two cocker spaniels & my dad has a collie and two kittens. I help look after regularly when they are away or working. I am always home and available, the back door will be open for them to come and go and they will receive two over a mile walks a day with the option of being off lead for the entire walk. I have a fenced back garden (6 ft) and a very friendly dog at home who will help keep your doggos company at all times.
