About: I’ve been surrounded by animal since I was 5. I love all animals probably better than people 😀, I love taking care of all a puppy and dog needs. I love spending time with them and make sure they always have fun along with a deserved time off to relax. I’m Working part-time, I am not available the weekends right now but I’m free midweek. I also have a 10 months lab which he is so friendly and full of energy puppy I always make sure I spend time with dogs, going for long adventures, includes normal walks (countryside or beach), playgrounds, feeding dogs accordingly to their diet, making sure they have plenty of space and all the attention & love that they deserve.

“Cannot recommend Natalie and Paul enough. They had their hands full with our dog Cooper who was quite anxious having not spent a lot of time away from home but their patience, love and determination paid off and Cooper learned that they’re home was a safe and fun environment for him. They provided daily updates and videos of all Coopers adventures with his new furry friends which also put our minds at ease. He just had the best time staying there and will be back to visit again soon! Thank you so much again for taking such great care of our fur baby!”

“Willow stayed with Ching and her family for one week. I was kept updated daily with pictures when out walks and playing with her dogs. Willow looked so happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Ching and would not hesitate to book again 😀”

“Jennifer and her family took exceptional care with our 2 year old mini labradoodle Jura these past 8 days. We were sent regular updates and fab photos of Jura. Jura was taken on a variety of walks ranging from woodland, beaches and parks. Jura was welcomed into the family home and the standard of care was outstanding. Seeing how much fun Jura was having made being away from her so much easier as we knew she was in great hands. Thanks again to Jennifer and her family for everything. Can highly recommend Jennifer for dog boarding and will definitely rebook.”

“First time leaving our dogs with Scott and I’m sure it won’t be the last! Scott was amazing, plenty of pics and updates. Our dogs settled well and loved their time being spoiled with cuddles, walks and plenty of attention. I will be recommending Scott to EVERYONE! Thank you 🐾♥️ x”

“We couldn’t have asked for better people to look after our dog. From the start, they were kind, reliable, and clearly cared deeply about making sure our dog felt comfortable and happy. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious our dog was treated like part of the family — well looked after, exercised, and given lots of attention and affection. We came home to a relaxed and happy dog, which says everything. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and love they showed and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring dog sitters.”

About: I've had animals my whole life, dogs, cats, small furries & birds. at the moment I have a boxer, ragdoll kitty, tortoise & 2 rats. Your pet will be treated with the same care & love as my own. I want your pets to see me as a friend they love to see, so as much info about what they like as you can give will be appreciated. I'm an auxiliary nurse, working part time, happy to care for pets on my days off, I can be flexible if you need late drop ins etc. I can't offer holiday boarding as I still work part time, but can accommodate 1-2 nights when I'm off, for short trips away, family emergencies etc, or drop in visits if that suits your pet... I have a fenced garden & a friendly dog to keep your dog company, I also have an elderly cat, so any pets would have to be cat friendly.
“Absolutely delighted with Hector's care, Helena was fabulous and bonded straight away with Hector. I would happily leave my dog anytime with Helena, she is friendly, professional and went above and beyond with looking after my boy. Top rating x”

“My springer spaniel freddie can be very nervous in new situations and with new people but Anne Marie made him completely comfortable and at home he relaxed instantly. Got updates throughout the week and lots of pictures and videos of freddie having the best time. First time i have left my dog Anne Marie made it such a good expereince.”

“Orla and Aine were fantastic sitters for Luna, I can tell that she had such a good time. We met for a meet and greet before her stay so they could get a quick introduction and they made sure to follow Luna’s routine as closely as possible to make her stay comfortable for her. They asked plenty of questions to get things right for Luna and took her to her favourite places for her walks. I would definitely book with them again and recommend to anyone looking for reliable dog sitters!”

What can I say! Claire looked after the 2 family dogs for a week while the family was on holiday. The boys had a ball they loved every minute with Claire. Daily updates & pictures sent from Claire. If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
