About: Hi, I’m Gillian. I’m a lifelong dog lover and have had dogs as part of my family since I was a young child. As a mum of two children and two much-loved dogs, I understand that every dog deserves to be treated with the same love, patience and care as our own. I work as a property investor, which means I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship and exercise, whether your dog is staying with us, coming for daycare or joining me for a walk. I’ve taken the time to educate myself on positive, reward-based dog training methods and believe that calm, consistent handling helps dogs feel safe and secure. My aim is to provide a happy, relaxed environment where your dog can settle in, have fun and receive lots of love while you’re at work or away on holiday. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to care for your dog as if they were one of my own. I have recently left a 9 to 5 job to focus on property investing and working for myself. This allows me to be at home more often although I do go out but only for a few hours at a time. We take our own dogs for a walk first thing in the morning, around lunchtime and before bedtime. If your dog was boarding with us they would follow the same routine. I can be available for pet visits and dog walking throughout the day either for short, local walks or can take them to the nearest park or open area for a long walk/run to suit. My dogs love the ball thrower so can keep them entertained for as long as needed! I have a fenced garden with lots of space to run around! I have 2 dogs of my own - cocker spaniel and a border collie and they love having friends to play with. For boarding I will take 1 dog at a time or 2 if from the same household. For day care I can take up to 3 dogs at a time. If needed I can keep dogs separate as I have a converted garage in the garden. I can administer medication if needed and provide any specific treats. I’m happy to send pictures and updates to you and can tailor walks and routines to suit your dog’s needs as appropriate.

About: I’ve was brought in a family that breed Jack russel terriers so I have always been around multiple dogs my entire lives . I had these as Pets Millie my Jack Russel lived to over 16 years she is now buried in my garden to keep her close .I currently own a 7 year Border Collie flow who is a wonderful dog so clever and obedient. I’m retired police officer so have lots of time to make sure your dog is well catered for with plenty of walks in different environments and love going to the rouken glen park for the glen walks that dogs love . I retired but still do couple days a week part time .This gives me loads of time to dedicate to your dog and take them really nice walks in the park and other green areas which are all close by . I live in newton mearns I have a fully enclosed garden and plenty of house space . I have completely road safe areas to the front of my home full of pedestrian paths that are great for dog walking .I also live close to many green areas which are really good and only 5 mins from rouken glen park were I love to the dogs a big walk in nature and play fun games with them .

Our 14 year old dog Tilly had never stayed with a boarder before and we worried how she would be while we were away on our 10 day holiday . There was absolutely no need to worry! Tilly settled in with Caitlin really well and we were updated how she was doing with daily updates we received from Caitlin and photos as well ! I couldn’t have asked for a better person than Belen to look after our baby Bramble. This was my first time using Rover so very wary. Belen sent me pics and videos every other day of Bramble on walks and playing at home alongside her own dog. I could see Bramble was very happy and was being cared by how happy and relaxed she looked. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Belén again in the future.
I was terrified about leaving my dog. In 4 years, he hadn't been with anyone other than myself and 2 trusted people from the family. Cathie and Daniel were understanding and kind from the get go, but they truly went above and beyond my expectations when it came to Frankie's care. They've now lifted a massive weight off my shoulders and, after nearly two years, I finally have someone that I trust to look after my boy and I can consider travelling again!
Tetyana was an excellent sitter. From the meet and greet she proved to have a very good way with Barney and that is why I chose her. She sent photos while walking Barney telling me where and how long. Itwas very hot for him.Tetyana contacted me for permission to change his food as he was not eating well. Matteo and Ellenkate looked after our French bulldog, Pumba, who has a few behavioural quirks, and they were honestly brilliant with her. They took the time to listen and really get to know Pumba, what she likes, what she doesn’t like, and how to make her feel settled. They also followed all the instructions we gave them, which made us feel very reassured. When we came to collect her, Pumba looked so relaxed and happy in their home. That really said it all for us. Matteo and Ellenkate are also just lovely people, really friendly, fun and easy to chat to. Pumba will be going back to stay with them soon, and we’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind and trustworthy pet sitters.
Lauren and her lovely family took very good care of Barley this past week. It really put our minds at ease knowing he was getting such good care. I loved the daily updates and photos seeing what Barley had been up to that day. He looks very happy in the photos and I think he really enjoyed his time with Lauren. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
