“Koko and Yoyo were absolutely fantastic with my two Shih Tzus. They settled in almost immediately, which really put my mind at ease. I received plenty of updates and lots of lovely photos throughout their stay, so I always knew they were happy and well cared for. The children were wonderful with the dogs too. They were so patient and respectful, giving them space to settle in and letting the dogs come to them in their own time. Once they were comfortable, they got lots of cuddles, attention, and playtime, and it was clear they were having a great time. I also take on two dogs max per sitting so you’re dog would need to be good with other dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I previously had my own beloved cat, Pablo, who taught me so much about companionship, patience and the unique personalities animals have. Alongside my experience with dogs and cats, I’ve also worked as an equine therapy co-facilitator, supporting therapeutic work involving horses and people. This gave me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, nervous systems, emotional attunement and creating calm, safe environments, something I bring into the way I care for dogs too. I know how important it is to feel your dog is genuinely cared for whilst you’re away, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving home away from home experience where dogs feel secure, comfortable and included in daily life. I’m naturally calm, patient, attentive and playful and I take time to get to know each dog’s individual needs, routines and personality. I also regularly care for friends’ dogs, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines and needs and I genuinely love having dogs around the home and out on walks. I have a secure garden for dogs to relax and play in, and I’m also very close to both the beach and forest walks, so there are plenty of opportunities for calm nature walks, exploration and outdoor time during their stay. Whether your dog loves adventures, companionship, playtime or cuddles on the sofa, I’ll make sure they feel safe, settled and cared for. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and in good hands. I work Monday-Wednesday in an office but will do walks before and after work. About: I'm laid back and patient I'm just starting out but I have had dogs all my life and i enjoy walking and training dogs i currently have two dogs of my own one who has anxiety I currently work full time until but I can start and finish when I want but I can only do weekends and evening walks until I become full time I have a large fenced safe garden and two loving fur babies that can keep your fur baby company all day and night and if they prefer humans I can keep them company

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
