About: From 5th October - 22nd November 2026 I will be on placement with possible 12hour shift. Please be away of this before enquiring. I have had animals my whole life. Both cats and dogs hold a very large space in my heart. After loosing my partners dog a couple months ago the hole in my heart is definitely needing filled. I love the beach and anything out in the country side. I have a horse so being outdoors is my norm. I’m currently a nursing student looking to gain a little extra money whilst doing something I love. I’d love to house sit within the comfort of your dogs home. Keeping them as comfortable and as settled as possible. I’m a student nurse so during placement I’m not as able to care for your furry friends but outwith that my time is very flexible. I work bank for the NHS Ayrshire and Arran so I chose shifts that fit into my schedule. I will be happy to not pick up shifts when caring for your fur baby. I will follow any care plan you have set. I will cater the needs of your part to how they are cared for by you.

About: I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have been a dog owner/carer since 2010. In that time, I have cared for my dog, Cody. Cody had epilepsy and also a heart condition. Therefore I also have experiance in administering oral medication to a rather reluctant dog. I was lucky enough to be Cody's owner for almost 12 of the best years ever. When Cody and I went for a walk, it was very much Cody taking me for a walk rather than the other way round. I believe that's the way it should be. It's the dogs time to do what a dog needs to do, it's the Owner's responsibility to ensure the walk is done in a relaxed and safe manner. I'm now the owner of a very lovable Maltese Terrier. Toby had been my Sister-In-Laws dog since birth and is now 7 years old. I have been Toby's owner since August 2024. So, if you're looking for a reliable dog carer with loads of time for your dog, then let me know. I have a very friendly 7 year old male Maltese Terrier to keep your dog company. As with my own dog, your dog is free to roam anywhere within my house and within my fenced in back garden. My house is a bungalow, so no stairs to worry about. I can and do spend a lot of time ensuring my dog is as safe and comfortable as possible. I will do the same for your dog.

About: I have many years experience with pet care, including working in a Veterinary Practice, dog walking, check in’s and even overnight stays! I currently work in a local, independent pet shop where I love getting to meet the different pets that come in & get cuddles throughout the day. Through my experience in the pet shop I am educated in dietary requirements and the medical wellbeing of all types of pets and can give recommendations based on your pets needs. I can also provide lots of natural tasty treats! Everyone who has met me, have said they fully trust me with their pet and couldn’t picture anyone else more suited to take care of them and to rely on. I currently own a 2 year old Collie named Clover who is my whole world :) I currently work at a small business Animal shop a couple of days a week. I am open for bookings on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Saturday and Sunday's, offering single and group walks. In the near future I am planning on making dog walking my full time job. I have always had a family dog growing up, and I currently own a Broderick Collie with my fiancé. So I have tons of experience caring for dogs and love being around them! By working in a Veterinary Practice, I have been trained in handling, health and safety and taking care of the pets we had in care. Over the years I have had friends and family reach out to myself to look after their pets including dogs, cats, fish and chickens. At home I also own guinea pigs and rabbits, so I have had a wide variety of animal care and experience.

About: I have taken care of a wide range of breeds from pomeranians (my own) to collies, to vislas, to crossbreeds. My home has a gated garden therefore freedom to roam outside securely! I own my own dog Winston and he gets three walks a day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. I work from home some days during the week and these days I have the back door open for the dog to roam in and out the house as he pleases. I have eyes on him at all times as my dining table is located at the back door which is beneficial. I have one friendly dog who will keep your dog company and a fenced garden. My neighbours are an elderly couple who give my dog one treat every day through the fence and they love it when I take my other neighbours dogs for the day, the more the merrier. My area has lots of nice woodland walks near by and I have a car to travel to spots in the area - dogs will ALWAYS be kept safely on the lead. Open to altering my day to fit around the specific needs of your dog.

About: I have taken care of many family friends pets, comfortable with any temperament, can do daily check ins and walks or overnight stays when needed, student veterinary nurse so have gained extra handling experience. I am also currently working on a farm so spend most days looking after lots of animals including overnight care when the farmer is away. Currently working part time on farm from 8am-1pm Monday- Thursday and Sundays, able to do drop in visits/ walks before work. Come September I am back at uni 2 days a week and then do online classes other days which means I am able to do multiple drop ins/ walks a day and overnights when needed. Comfortable staying in people’s homes when needed, can cater to any and all needs of pets. If dogs have routines of going to enclosed dog parks I am able to stick to routine as I can drive and have had no incidents or claims.

About: Having gained a level 2 and 3 in animal care and management, and then a BSc (Hons) in Animal behaviour and welfare, I have worked with various species of animals from cats and dogs to horses, sheep, pigs, bearded dragons, geckos, and multiple aquatic animals of the like. I have been an animal management and care specialist for a HE college, then moved to a veterinary specialist hospital as a technician. I have now turned to human nursing post covid. I currently work as a nurse, from 0830 till 5 pm Monday to Friday, I am free nearly every weekend. I am more than happy to have your furry child over night or to look in on them after work or on weekends. Having an open-plan flat, the rooms are filled with natural light; CCTV will be an option, but daily updates will be included as standard. I will insist on password pickup (you and I agree on a secret password if someone other than the person who drops them off is picking them up). If visiting your home, I will be wearing body-worn CCTV and will text or video chat during my visit to ensure that you are aware that I have attended to your goodest boy/girl.

About: I have always had pets in my home (mostly cats and dogs). I dog walk for a variety of my friends and family and have experience dog walking different breeds. I also cat sit and many have been cats that are rescued. I am excited to become and dog walker and pet sitter when required! I have recently went self employed and have so much time to dog walk and cat/dog sit when required. I prefer being self employed meaning i can do this when I want to and which best suits the owner. About: So happy to be back on rover after taking a break with life getting in the way (for those recognising my reviews are from two years ago). I currently work in mental health within the NHS while also studying part time but have years of experience looking after family dogs growing up, dog walking, sitting and boarding for friends, neighbours, family and to local owners. I'm back to Rover to begin walking more regularly as nothing fulfills me more than getting outdoors in all weathers and without being able to have a dog of my own for the moment, I'm taking this opportunity to combine my love of looking after and being around dogs and pets and the outdoors. I enjoy hikes and being outside in all weathers so much, and find so much joy in it having canine companions as I explore. I'm used to working with medium to large dogs and on occasion small dogs and am comfortable with all. I can lone work with your dog/dogs if they only work well with each other and ensure they're still getting outside and looked after. • I like to send an update and check-in with you at the start and end of the walk so you know what they've been up to and where they've been to for the day. • I'm more than happy to work with your training style if you've got a puppy to ensure consistency in development and progression • I have worked with reactive dogs, including rescues and do my best to ensure they're not overstimulated or triggered and have an enjoyable experience to build trust, feel cared for and safe properly I am looking to build a regular base of dogs I walk and look after to fit around current part time work and studying. I update my calendar regularly to reflect this. I have a fenced back garden and plenty of room in the house and comfortable areas for your pets to make themselves at home. There are also vast areas of green space and a country park nearby to walk your dogs.

About: I am a 30 year old woman with a 4 year old Siberian husky and a 2 year old tabby cat. I am an animal lover and like being outside come rain or shine so be assured your pets will have the best walks or cuddles asked for. I have been brought up around animals my entire life with both sisters having 2 dogs each and my parents having a family dog whilst growing up. I do work full time as a teacher but I have various holidays throughout the year where I am able to walk or have your animal overnight if you are away. Walking your dog or cuddling your cat is at the highest priority. I am very trust worthy when entering your home. About: My whole life, I've always owned animals of all sorts—big and small. My family has a farm, so I'm accustomed to that lifestyle, not afraid to get dirty, caring for chickens, cows, and sheep. I’m active and love to go for long walks. I’ve boarded animals, done rescue work and rehabilitated kittens and a little experience with lambs.
