About: I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have been a dog owner/carer since 2010. In that time, I have cared for my dog, Cody. Cody had epilepsy and also a heart condition. Therefore I also have experiance in administering oral medication to a rather reluctant dog. I was lucky enough to be Cody's owner for almost 12 of the best years ever. When Cody and I went for a walk, it was very much Cody taking me for a walk rather than the other way round. I believe that's the way it should be. It's the dogs time to do what a dog needs to do, it's the Owner's responsibility to ensure the walk is done in a relaxed and safe manner. I'm now the owner of a very lovable Maltese Terrier. Toby had been my Sister-In-Laws dog since birth and is now 7 years old. I have been Toby's owner since August 2024. So, if you're looking for a reliable dog carer with loads of time for your dog, then let me know. I have a very friendly 7 year old male Maltese Terrier to keep your dog company. As with my own dog, your dog is free to roam anywhere within my house and within my fenced in back garden. My house is a bungalow, so no stairs to worry about. I can and do spend a lot of time ensuring my dog is as safe and comfortable as possible. I will do the same for your dog.

About: I have many years experience with pet care, including working in a Veterinary Practice, dog walking, check in’s and even overnight stays! I currently work in a local, independent pet shop where I love getting to meet the different pets that come in & get cuddles throughout the day. Through my experience in the pet shop I am educated in dietary requirements and the medical wellbeing of all types of pets and can give recommendations based on your pets needs. By working in a Veterinary Practice, I have been trained in handling, health and safety and taking care of the pets we had in care. Over the years I have had friends and family reach out to myself to look after their pets including dogs, cats, fish and chickens. At home I also own guinea pigs and rabbits, so I have had a wide variety of animal care and experience.

About: I’m a university law student with a big love for animals and over 4 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Saint Bernards! I’ve always had a natural bond with animals and truly enjoy spending my free time making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m also great with cats and love looking after them too! As a student, my schedule is flexible, so I can easily fit around your pet’s needs. In addition to this, I have a doggy bag that stays in the boot of my car as a backup. This includes stuff like treats, blankets, poo bags etc just incase of an emergency! About: From 5th October - 22nd November 2026 I will be on placement with possible 12hour shift. Please be away of this before enquiring. I have had animals my whole life. Both cats and dogs hold a very large space in my heart. After loosing my partners dog a couple months ago the hole in my heart is definitely needing filled. I love the beach and anything out in the country side. I have a horse so being outdoors is my norm. I’m currently a nursing student looking to gain a little extra money whilst doing something I love. I’d love to house sit within the comfort of your dogs home. Keeping them as comfortable and as settled as possible. I’m a student nurse so during placement I’m not as able to care for your furry friends but outwith that my time is very flexible. I work bank for the NHS Ayrshire and Arran so I chose shifts that fit into my schedule. I will be happy to not pick up shifts when caring for your fur baby. I will follow any care plan you have set. I will cater the needs of your part to how they are cared for by you.

About: I have taken care of a wide range of breeds from pomeranians (my own) to collies, to vislas, to crossbreeds. My home has a gated garden therefore freedom to roam outside securely! I own my own dog Winston and he gets three walks a day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. I work from home some days during the week and these days I have the back door open for the dog to roam in and out the house as he pleases. I have eyes on him at all times as my dining table is located at the back door which is beneficial. I have one friendly dog who will keep your dog company and a fenced garden. My neighbours are an elderly couple who give my dog one treat every day through the fence and they love it when I take my other neighbours dogs for the day, the more the merrier. My area has lots of nice woodland walks near by and I have a car to travel to spots in the area - dogs will ALWAYS be kept safely on the lead. Open to altering my day to fit around the specific needs of your dog.

About: I have taken care of many family friends pets, comfortable with any temperament, can do daily check ins and walks or overnight stays when needed, student veterinary nurse so have gained extra handling experience. I am also currently working on a farm so spend most days looking after lots of animals including overnight care when the farmer is away. Currently working part time on farm from 8am-1pm Monday- Thursday and Sundays, able to do drop in visits/ walks before work. Come September I am back at uni 2 days a week and then do online classes other days which means I am able to do multiple drop ins/ walks a day and overnights when needed. Comfortable staying in people’s homes when needed, can cater to any and all needs of pets. If dogs have routines of going to enclosed dog parks I am able to stick to routine as I can drive and have had no incidents or claims.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. About: Hello! My dad & I started pet sitting a while back after being contacted on a pet sitting platform which I have used over the years for my own pets & have always had very positive experiences. We have enjoyed it very much, so much so we are making it our mission now to help as many owners with their pets as possible! 
 My dad being retired has all the time now to do the things he enjoys. Between the two of us we strive to provide a loving & safe environment for your pets. We love meeting new furry friends and getting to know them.

About: Having gained a level 2 and 3 in animal care and management, and then a BSc (Hons) in Animal behaviour and welfare, I have worked with various species of animals from cats and dogs to horses, sheep, pigs, bearded dragons, geckos, and multiple aquatic animals of the like. I have been an animal management and care specialist for a HE college, then moved to a veterinary specialist hospital as a technician. I have now turned to human nursing post covid. I currently work as a nurse, from 0830 till 5 pm Monday to Friday, I am free nearly every weekend. I am more than happy to have your furry child over night or to look in on them after work or on weekends. Having an open-plan flat, the rooms are filled with natural light; CCTV will be an option, but daily updates will be included as standard. I will insist on password pickup (you and I agree on a secret password if someone other than the person who drops them off is picking them up). If visiting your home, I will be wearing body-worn CCTV and will text or video chat during my visit to ensure that you are aware that I have attended to your goodest boy/girl.

About: I love all dogs - big and small! I grew up with dogs - a German short haired pointer and an Italian Spinone, as well as lots of other lovely dogs in my extended family too. I now have a three year old cocker spaniel called Juno. She is well trained and very sociable with all dogs and she loves to have other dogs to stay! I’m happy to work on any training needs your dog has while staying with me. I work from home 2 or 3 days a week. I tend to take Juno for one longer (1+ hours) walk per day as well as a couple of short trips to the park. I can adjust this depending on your dog - longer/more adventurous for energetic dogs and shorter/more gentle walks for older or slower dogs. We love to go down to Portobello, round Arthur’s Seat and up to Blackford Hill. I live on my own and have a 2 year old cocker spaniel. She is very friendly and gets on with all dogs - but also knows when to leave dogs that don’t want to play with her! I will only ever take one dog at a time so it will only ever be the two dogs together. I have a secure shared garden with grass lawn and surrounding stone wall. In the house, your dog can make itself at home. I have dog beds in both rooms and they are also welcome to be on the sofa/armchairs. I’ve got lots of dog toys and chews. My flat is on the third floor so may not be suitable for older dogs with mobility/joint issues.

About: With my Dad who races pigeons and an Auntie who rescues dogs and used to volunteer with The Dog's Trust, I am one of the lucky ones who has grown up around animals their entire life. We kept budgies and rabbits, a dog and a cat. I had neighbours who asked me to look after their guinea pig, and another who asked me to look after their Yorkshire Terrier, I have wide experience with different animals and on different terms, including overnight stays and daily meal time visits, or just as a companion for a few hours. My boyfriend is always catching me talking to various dogs and our cats when we are out on walks. I'm currently working from home as a freelance photographer which gives me a pretty flexible weekly routine. I live close to a number of parks for walks, but also close to public transport for home visits.I As previously mentioned, I have been entrusted with things like staying overnight to look after a friend's cats, dropping by to check in with pet wellbeing and keeping them company for a few hours and dishing up meal time.
