About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been comfortable caring for them, walking them, and understanding their different personalities and needs. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are safe, happy, and well looked after, and I always aim to provide calm, caring, and trustworthy support. I’m happy to follow feeding routines, provide regular walks, playtime, and give pets plenty of attention and care. I’m especially good with friendly family dogs and making pets feel comfortable and relaxed around me. I work Monday to Thursday, so I am available for pet care on Fridays, weekends, and some evenings depending on the time. I can also be flexible with advance notice. I’m happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet care during these times, and I will always make sure I plan my schedule properly so I can give pets full attention and reliable care. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and secure. I pay attention to feeding times, fresh water, walks, and any specific instructions given. I take a calm and patient approach with animals and always treat them with care and respect. I understand that every pet has their own personality, so I take time to make sure they feel safe and relaxed around me. I am based in North Ayrshire and am reliable, tidy, and respectful when visiting someone’s home. I always aim to provide trustworthy and consistent care so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

Koko and Yoyo were absolutely fantastic with my two Shih Tzus. They settled in almost immediately, which really put my mind at ease. I received plenty of updates and lots of lovely photos throughout their stay, so I always knew they were happy and well cared for. The children were wonderful with the dogs too. They were so patient and respectful, giving them space to settle in and letting the dogs come to them in their own time. Once they were comfortable, they got lots of cuddles, attention, and playtime, and it was clear they were having a great time. I felt completely confident that my dogs were in safe, caring hands, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them with Koko’s family again. I highly recommend Koko to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!

Our wee boy went to stay with Kirsty for a night while we attended a wedding. She offered a meet and greet before hand which went really well and we knew he would be well looked after. She sent us regular pictures and he was clearly having a fantastic time with his new friends! He chewed through his lead and she replaced it which was very kind but absolutely not needed! He had another one with him and he is a chewy pup so we would have happily replaced it. We will definitely use Kirsty again.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I previously had my own beloved cat, Pablo, who taught me so much about companionship, patience and the unique personalities animals have. Alongside my experience with dogs and cats, I’ve also worked as an equine therapy co-facilitator, supporting therapeutic work involving horses and people. This gave me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, nervous systems, emotional attunement and creating calm, safe environments, something I bring into the way I care for dogs too. I know how important it is to feel your dog is genuinely cared for whilst you’re away, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving home away from home experience where dogs feel secure, comfortable and included in daily life. I’m naturally calm, patient, attentive and playful and I take time to get to know each dog’s individual needs, routines and personality. I also regularly care for friends’ dogs, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines and needs and I genuinely love having dogs around the home and out on walks. I have a secure garden for dogs to relax and play in, and I’m also very close to both the beach and forest walks, so there are plenty of opportunities for calm nature walks, exploration and outdoor time during their stay. Whether your dog loves adventures, companionship, playtime or cuddles on the sofa, I’ll make sure they feel safe, settled and cared for. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and in good hands. I work Monday-Wednesday in an office but will do walks before and after work. Please note that before confirming any booking I ask to have a meet and greet at my house, this is an opportunity for your dog to familiarise themselves with the environment and for all of us to meet. I work in an office Monday-Wednesday so will do walks before & after work. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays with lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, playtime and cuddles. I’m also available over the weekends for boarding. I have a secure fenced garden where dogs can safely relax, play and enjoy outdoor time. I only take a small number of dogs at once so I can give each dog plenty of attention, care and supervision throughout their stay. I understand that every dog has different needs, routines and comfort levels, so I take time to help them settle in gently and feel safe in my home. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I always prioritise your dog’s wellbeing and emotional comfort. I live close to the beach and forest walks, providing plenty of opportunities for safe, enriching walks in nature. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routines, feeding schedules and any special care instructions to help them feel as settled as possible whilst you’re away

About: I've had animals my whole life, dogs, cats, small furries & birds. at the moment I have a boxer, ragdoll kitty, tortoise & 2 rats. Your pet will be treated with the same care & love as my own. I want your pets to see me as a friend they love to see, so as much info about what they like as you can give will be appreciated. I'm an auxiliary nurse, working part time, happy to care for pets on my days off, I can be flexible if you need late drop ins etc. I can't offer holiday boarding as I still work part time, but can accommodate 1-2 nights when I'm off, for short trips away, family emergencies etc, or drop in visits if that suits your pet... I have a fenced garden & a friendly dog to keep your dog company, I also have an elderly cat, so any pets would have to be cat friendly.

Jennifer was kind, helpful and efficient at getting back to me, and making quick arrangements for a stay as well as squeezing in a Meet and Greet beforehand. I was impressed with the Meet & Greet, as well as showing us around her home and garden, Jennifer wanted to go for a walk with Digory and ourselves so that she could see firsthand how to handle him. Very reassuring. From the start, it was clear to us that Digory was settled and happy. Regular messages, questions and pictures assured us that he was being carefully and thoughtfully looked after.

Contacted Anne Marie for home boarding for our 10 year old lhasa apso for our recent trip. A lovely lady who was enthusiastic, caring and affectionate towards our wee dog. She kept us advised of his progress during the 2 weeks we were away, as this was the first time we had left him with someone we didn't know. When we came back he was very happy to see us and we knew that she had cared for him ever so well. I am happy to recommend Anne Marie to anyone who needs their dog looked after.

Kwai and his family looked after Izzy when we went on our Summer holiday. Izzy settled in well to Kwai's family and they were all so lovely with her. About: I've taken care of many dogs, and have experience with both puppies and elderly dogs. I'm attentive, and will make sure to give your pup the attention they need and deserve. I am not working, so I can spend 24/7 with your dog. This makes me ideal for dogs who suffer from separation anxiety. I can do as many walks as your dog requires, and your dog will be treated as part of the family. I will be able to constantly monitor your dog if required. I have a fenced garden with plenty of place for your dog to run around in. I will send plenty of photos and make sure I'm constantly available if you have any worries.

Helena looked after my little Chihuahua Poppy for a second time and again I am really pleased with how well the boarding went. Poppy is elderly and Helena and her family take great care of her and give her lots of attention, love and cuddles meaning that I can relax on holiday knowing that Poppy is very happy. Helena is such a lovely kind person and Poppy was happy to see her when I dropped her off, that says it all! I would definitely recommend Helena as a sitter and would have no hesitation in leaving Poppy with her again.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I work part time and I'm hoping to get to walk or look after some pups on my days off. At the minute I offer dog walks and drop in visits. I have had and cared for a variety of different dog breeds and temperaments over the years and have loved every minute. No pup is too big, small, nervous or bouncy. Walks with your dog can be tailored to fit, whether that’s at the beach, park, on or off the leash. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have my own two dogs, one being a nervous dachshund. So I’m experienced with nervous/anxious dogs that just need a bit more time and patience. Above all, I’ll make sure that we always have fun together. I’m more than happy to send lots of photo updates so you know your dogs in good hands. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of days available to be able to care for your pets. My schedule will be updated weekly with my availability. I currently have two dogs of my own and completely understand how hard it can be to trust other people with your pets. I have experience with a variety of different breeds and temperaments.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I was a cattery house manager for 2+ years before attending vet school and have looked after my own beloved cats alongside regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I am currently awaiting my fourth-year exam results, which I expect to receive by the end of June. Please feel free to get in touch regarding availability from September onwards. At present, I am unable to confirm dates definitively, but I will be happy to provide an update once my results are released. 🐾💜

About: I work for myself so am based at home during the week. I definitely need the walk/company as much as the animals! I have worked in multiple animal/dog/cat sanctuaries taking care of dogs ranging from puppies to old souls. I’ve always had dogs in the house and dog sitting for friends whenever they need me. I work for myself from home Mon - Fri so I need the company/walks just as mischievous as the animals! I set my own work hours so can be flexible to suit what ever needs to happen. I live alone in a spacious flat, we do have stairs to access the house so let me know if your dog is a little achey and needs assistance with stairs. How I look after pet in your home would be a discussion we would have prior so you felt comfortable

About: Hi! My name is Koko. I have lived with dogs since I was born and have kept pets throughout my life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. Over the years, I have cared for many types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, amphibians, and reptiles. This experience has helped me understand different animal personalities and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I have experience with many dog breeds and sizes, from small dogs such as Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to larger breeds including Mastiffs and Pit Bulls. I also have experience caring for puppies and anxious pets. Every dog is unique, and I always respect their routines, personalities, and individual needs. Taking care of dogs brings me happiness and peace, which is one of the main reasons I enjoy being a dog sitter. I provide care with love, patience, and responsibility, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. My whole family loves animals, and we provide a calm and welcoming environment for every pet. When your pet is with me, they will be treated like part of the family. I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. As a new sitter, I am offering slightly lower prices while building my reviews. I mostly work from home, which allows me to spend most of my time at home and provide consistent attention and supervision for pets in my care. This flexible schedule means I can easily incorporate walks, feeding times, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I am also generally flexible with check-in and check-out times, helping to accommodate owners’ travel plans while ensuring pets remain comfortable and well cared for. 🐾 Your dog will stay in a safe, calm, and welcoming home environment. We have a secure fenced garden, allowing dogs to enjoy fresh air, supervised outdoor time, and safe play. The home is clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, providing a relaxing space where dogs can feel at ease. Animals have always been part of our household, and my whole family loves animals, so every pet is welcomed with kindness and care. I make sure each dog receives attention, affection, and a comfortable place to rest. I also understand that every dog has different habits and routines, so I do my best to maintain their normal schedule, including feeding times, walks, and rest periods. My goal is to help your dog feel secure, relaxed, and at home while you are away. 🐾

About: I have been a dedicated pet owner my entire life, which he sadly recently passed away, and have a deep love and understanding of animals. My personal experience includes caring for my own beloved dog for 15 years, during which I was responsible for all aspects of his well-being, including daily walks, feeding schedules, medication administration, and regular veterinary visits. This long-term commitment has provided me with practical, hands-on experience in managing a dog's routine and adapting care as they age. I am comfortable with dogs, for I had a Staffie and can provide compassionate, reliable, and attentive care tailored to your pet’s specific needs with lovely walks surrounded my place. Your pet will be well looked after and loved. I am a stay at home person and do things from home apart from on a Thursday I am out 10am-2pm, and on a Friday night I work 6pm-10pm. I am in a smoke free home, one level flat, ground floor with a large back garden that is fenced and many lovely nature walks surrounding me. It's a warm cosy home, and plenty room for cuddles.

Kwai and his lovely family looked after Bonnie so well. She's an older girl and has kidney problems so needs special care but they made sure she was completely comfortable. She had lovely walks on her doggie sitting afternoon. We were also sent regular happy photos to keep us in touch. Kwai's prices are really fair especially as it was a holiday weekend and short notice. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to have Bonnie booked with them again.

About: Hi I’m new to Rover but have over 20 years experience of looking after my own and clients’ dogs. I will treat your dogs just like my own, ensuring they receive unique and appropriate care whilst they are with me. I appreciate all dogs are so different and will go the extra mile to make them feel safe in my home. Having had many dogs into old age, senior dogs are perhaps a speciality of mine. I am unphased by larger breeds as I currently have a Romanian shepherd dog aged 1. She is very friendly and loves the company of other dogs. I live 5 minutes walk from the beach at Greenan Shore and just a 5 minute drive to the two beautiful local parks. The safety of your pets is paramount, I will only walk off lead with your written permission. As I have a 10 year old son, I can only take pets who are completely safe with children. My son also knows not to over pet a dog and respect space having had a very tricky rescue dog of our own in the past for many years. I am fully insured by Cliverton Pet Insurance. I work mainly from home so your pets will not be left unattended for more than 3 hours. If you have specific requests I will discuss these fully with you. I have an enclosed, private fenced garden. There is also plenty of room in the house for your pet to roam around freely. I live in a quiet, safe neighbourhood.

About: Cats have always been a part of my life, I am a very caring person and I love looking after them. My own cats are a ragdoll named Sally and my marvellous moggie, Sammy. They love playing with toys, spending time with their humans and they are like my little shadows. When I'm not at home with Sally and Sammy I work as a disability support worker and volunteer as a moth verification assistant for Butterfly Conservation which highlights my close attention to detail and easily spotting when something isn't quite right. I keep and care for a number of exotic animals in my spare time and I have also volunteered at a cat only Veterinary practice.

About: I have many years experience with pet care, including working in a Veterinary Practice, dog walking, check in’s and even overnight stays! Everyone who had met me, have said they fully trust me with their pet and couldn’t picture anyone else more suited to take care of them and to rely on. I currently own an almost 2 year old Collie named Clover who is my whole world :) I currently work at a small business Animal shop a couple of days a week. I am open for bookings on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Saturday and Sunday's, offering single and group walks. In the near future I am planning on making dog walking my full time job. I have always had a family dog growing up, and I currently own a Broderick Collie with my fiancé. So I have tons of experience caring for dogs and love being around them! By working in a Veterinary Practice, I have been trained in handling, health and safety and taking care of the pets we had in care. Over the years I have had friends and family reach out to myself to look after their pets including dogs, cats, fish and chickens. At home I also own guinea pigs and rabbits, so I have had a wide variety of animal care and experience.

About: I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have been a dog owner/carer since 2010. In that time, I have cared for my dog, Cody. Cody had epilepsy and also a heart condition. Therefore I also have experiance in administering oral medication to a rather reluctant dog. I was lucky enough to be Cody's owner for almost 12 of the best years ever. When Cody and I went for a walk, it was very much Cody taking me for a walk rather than the other way round. I believe that's the way it should be. It's the dogs time to do what a dog needs to do, it's the Owner's responsibility to ensure the walk is done in a relaxed and safe manner. I'm now the owner of a very lovable Maltese Terrier. Toby had been my Sister-In-Laws dog since birth and is now 7 years old. I have been Toby's owner since August 2024. So, if you're looking for a reliable dog carer with loads of time for your dog, then let me know. I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have a very friendly 7 year old male Maltese Terrier to keep your dog company. As with my own dog, your dog is free to roam anywhere within my house and within my fenced in back garden. My house is a bungalow, so no stairs to worry about. I can and do spend a lot of time ensuring my dog is as safe and comfortable as possible. I will do the same for your dog.

I'm all about giving pups the love and care they deserve—after all, it's the best way to spend the day! I work from home and only leave the house for an hour and a half to go to the gym - otherwise I am always available to look after the dogs and take them for a walk whenever is required. About: So happy to be back on rover after taking a break with life getting in the way (for those recognising my reviews are from two years ago). I currently work in mental health within the NHS while also studying part time but have years of experience looking after family dogs growing up, dog walking, sitting and boarding for friends, neighbours, family and to local owners. I'm back to Rover to begin walking more regularly as nothing fulfills me more than getting outdoors in all weathers and without being able to have a dog of my own for the moment, I'm taking this opportunity to combine my love of looking after and being around dogs and pets and the outdoors. I enjoy hikes and being outside in all weathers so much, and find so much joy in it having canine companions as I explore. I'm used to working with medium to large dogs and on occasion small dogs and am comfortable with all. I can lone work with your dog/dogs if they only work well with each other and ensure they're still getting outside and looked after. • I like to send an update and check-in with you at the start and end of the walk so you know what they've been up to and where they've been to for the day. • I'm more than happy to work with your training style if you've got a puppy to ensure consistency in development and progression • I have worked with reactive dogs, including rescues and do my best to ensure they're not overstimulated or triggered and have an enjoyable experience to build trust, feel cared for and safe properly I am looking to build a regular base of dogs I walk and look after to fit around current part time work and studying. I update my calendar regularly to reflect this. I have a fenced back garden and plenty of room in the house and comfortable areas for your pets to make themselves at home. There are also vast areas of green space and a country park nearby to walk your dogs.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. 🐾💜 I am currently transitioning into my final year at vet school which is claiming to be very full on leaving little free time however I update my calendar regularly so it’s usually accurate. With this being said I always try my best to fit in walks and drop ins so please do reach out and we can try sort something! I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet's needs. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping to their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

Walking your dog or cuddling your cat is at the highest priority. I am very trust worthy when entering your home. I will send details of my visit and pictures of your pet being looked after and attended to.

About: My whole life, I've always owned animals of all sorts—big and small. My family has a farm, so I'm accustomed to that lifestyle, not afraid to get dirty, caring for chickens, cows, and sheep. I’m active and love to go for long walks. I’ve boarded animals, done rescue work and rehabilitated kittens and a little experience with lambs. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or concerns. I am currently unemployed with an open schedule. I have a vehicle large enough to transport extra large or multiple dogs. Open to long extended walks or travel for pick up. I have no animals on my property. I live in a remote area away from traffic and other houses. I’m very flexible and accommodating to a human’s needs, rules, schedules for their fur baby.

About: I have always had pets in my home (mostly cats and dogs). I dog walk for a variety of my friends and family and have experience dog walking different breeds. I also cat sit and many have been cats that are rescued. I am excited to become and dog walker and pet sitter when required! I have recently went self employed and have so much time to dog walk and cat/dog sit when required. I prefer being self employed meaning i can do this when I want to and which best suits the owner. I am such an animal lover and want to spend time caring/ looking after animals as I see this as more of a hobby compared to a job because I love it so much. I’ve walked dogs small and large and have gained experience feeding, walking and bathing dogs.

Kwai and his family looked after Izzy when we went on our Summer holiday. Izzy settled in well to Kwai's family and they were all so lovely with her. Izzy is a loving and affectionate dog and they were great with her. There were daily updates and photographs to let us know how she was, she was walked and cared for extremely well. We will definitely ask Kwai and his family to look after Izzy again.

Can’t recommend David enough. David accommodated me very last minute to keep my two nine month old pups overnight. As it was a first time needing to leave them I was very anxious however, David put my mind at ease with updates of how the boys were settling and took them out their walks. I will definitely use again if David is happy to look after the Krays ☺️.
