Elin and her family were fantastic sitters for Sox. He loved being with them - to the extent he might find being home with me a bit boring now :). No, seriously, Elin sent me lovely pics of Sox getting cuddles from the kids and going on long dog walks. She's a very organised person too, you can just tell. Thank you Elin and will definitely be back.

Sammy has come home from Ching’s a super tired boy! He had so much fun on his week’s stay with Ching & her husband. They were both amazing with Sammy. Really communicative, daily photo uploads to show us how he was getting on & settling as we were nervous due to never boarding him before. They really put our minds at ease & really catered to Sammy’s high energy, breed specific needs. We will absolutely be using Ching again in the future! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy ❤️

About: I’m a reliable, caring dog lover with plenty of experience looking after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve regularly dog sat for friends and family, including large breeds, reactive dogs, and energetic puppies, so I’m confident adapting to each dog’s individual needs. My home is always fully stocked for furry visitors, with beds, bowls, toys, and treats (with your permission), creating a safe and welcoming environment. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine, provide plenty of love, exercise, and attention, and I’m happy to administer medication if needed. I work Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, so I’m currently available for weekend boarding and pet sitting, as well as evening walks and drop-in visits during the week. I have a secure, fully fenced garden and plenty of lovely local walking routes to keep them happy and active. My home is fully equipped with everything they might need, including comfortable dog beds, bowls, toys, poop bags, treats (with your permission), and a large crate if they’re crate trained or prefer their own safe space. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special requirements, so they feel relaxed, safe, and right at home during their stay.

I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are safe, happy, and well looked after, and I always aim to provide calm, caring, and trustworthy support. I’m happy to follow feeding routines, provide regular walks, playtime, and give pets plenty of attention and care. About: Hi, I'm Alice! I'm a genuine dog lover who enjoys spending quality time with dogs of all ages and personalities. While living in Glasgow, I looked after a lovely Schnauzer once a week for three years, building a great bond through regular walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I've recently moved to a peaceful home just outside Kilmarnock with a large, secure garden that's perfect for playing, exploring, and relaxing outdoors. Whether your dog loves long walks, games of fetch, or simply curling up for some company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet, and I'll treat your dog with the same love, care, and attention as if they were my own. If you're looking for a friendly, reliable, and caring sitter, I'd love to meet you and your furry friend. Please feel free to get in touch—I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Alice 🐾 Pet care fits easily into my daily routine as I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I make time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I also have a large garden where dogs can safely play and burn off energy. Whether your dog needs company during the day, regular walks, or overnight care, I'll make sure they receive the love, exercise, and attention they deserve while keeping to their usual routine as much as possible. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. In my home, dogs will have a calm, clean, and welcoming environment with plenty of space to relax and a large garden for supervised play and exercise. I'll follow your dog's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication (if needed), and any specific instructions you provide. When caring for dogs in an owner's home, I'll treat both your home and your dog with the utmost respect. I'll ensure your dog receives lots of attention, exercise, companionship, and affection while keeping them comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for.

About: I have owned cats since I can remember. My most recent cat passed away a year ago. Myself and my parents rescued her when she was 1 and we had her up until her last breath at the age of 17. Now living with my partner and not owning a cat (due to rental agreement not allowing pets) I am missing having a furry friend to cuddle into. I will treat your cat with upmost respect as we all know it’s their world - we just live in it.

About: Ever since I was young I’ve loved looking after animals. I’ve had many over the years from dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and rabbits! I currently have a 2 year old working cocker spaniel. I love caring for my cocker spaniel and making sure all her needs are met. She’s a very active dog and is currently in agility training. I am very passionate about providing the correct care for each individual animal. I have had experience over the years of looking after many dog breeds including spaniels, labradors, German shepherds and many more! I have also had experience looking after cats and spending lots of time visiting them in their homes. I currently work part time through the week and would be available week days after 3pm ! This gives me lots of time in the afternoons to make sure your pets get the care they deserve! I have a secure fenced garden where it is safe for the dogs to run free. When on walks dogs will always be on leads and I have a tracker I can use for your dog to ensure safety at all times.

About: My whole life, I've always owned animals of all sorts—big and small. My family has a farm, so I'm accustomed to that lifestyle, not afraid to get dirty, caring for chickens, cows, and sheep. I’m active and love to go for long walks. I’ve boarded animals, done rescue work and rehabilitated kittens and a little experience with lambs. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or concerns. I am currently unemployed with an open schedule. I have a vehicle large enough to transport extra large or multiple dogs. Open to long extended walks or travel for pick up. I have no animals on my property. I live in a remote area away from traffic and other houses. I’m very flexible and accommodating to a human’s needs, rules, schedules for their fur baby.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I was a cattery house manager for 2+ years before attending vet school and have looked after my own beloved cats alongside regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I am currently awaiting my fourth-year exam results, which I expect to receive by the end of June. Please feel free to get in touch regarding availability from September onwards. At present, I am unable to confirm dates definitively, but I will be happy to provide an update once my results are released. 🐾💜

About: With over 30 years of hands-on pet care experience, I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment for animals of all kinds. My background includes caring for a wide range of pets—from dogs and cats to parrots and geckos—as well as experience rooted in a family farming environment, which has deepened my understanding of animal behavior and welfare. I am confident handling large dog breeds such as Great Danes, Rottweilers, and Bullmastiffs, and I ensure every pet in my care receives not only proper supervision but also plenty of affection, attention, and comfort. I also have extensive experience with cats of all breeds and temperaments, including Sphynx, Ragdolls, and Maine Coons. Each cat is treated with patience, kindness, and respect for their unique personality. Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority, and you can trust they will be cared for as if they were my own. I’m part time working mum and fit my visits / walks in around the school run, I’m happy to be flexible with dates and times with notice. My home has a large fenced garden, and live close to parks and countryside walks, I will treat your home with respect and your pets like my own, I can offer solo walks or group walks and I’m happy to care for multiple pets.

Louise took such good care of our Vizsla Whisky, who really loved hanging out with Arlo! He was happy and relaxed to stay with Louise for the day, in fact after two minutes he looked like he’d moved in. Louise obviously loves dogs and is ann experienced owner and dog sitter and this showed in her care of Whisky! Thankyou Louise, we hope to see you again.

About: I work for myself so am based at home during the week. I definitely need the walk/company as much as the animals! I have worked in multiple animal/dog/cat sanctuaries taking care of dogs ranging from puppies to old souls. I’ve always had dogs in the house and dog sitting for friends whenever they need me. I work for myself from home Mon - Fri so I need the company/walks just as mischievous as the animals! I set my own work hours so can be flexible to suit what ever needs to happen. I live alone in a spacious flat, we do have stairs to access the house so let me know if your dog is a little achey and needs assistance with stairs. How I look after pet in your home would be a discussion we would have prior so you felt comfortable

About: I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have been a dog owner/carer since 2010. In that time, I have cared for my dog, Cody. Cody had epilepsy and also a heart condition. Therefore I also have experiance in administering oral medication to a rather reluctant dog. I was lucky enough to be Cody's owner for almost 12 of the best years ever. When Cody and I went for a walk, it was very much Cody taking me for a walk rather than the other way round. I believe that's the way it should be. It's the dogs time to do what a dog needs to do, it's the Owner's responsibility to ensure the walk is done in a relaxed and safe manner. I'm now the owner of a very lovable Maltese Terrier. Toby had been my Sister-In-Laws dog since birth and is now 7 years old. I have been Toby's owner since August 2024. So, if you're looking for a reliable dog carer with loads of time for your dog, then let me know. I retired from full time work a few years ago, so I now have loads of time on a daily basis to allocate to dog walking/sitting/drop-in visits/boarding. I have a very friendly 7 year old male Maltese Terrier to keep your dog company. As with my own dog, your dog is free to roam anywhere within my house and within my fenced in back garden. My house is a bungalow, so no stairs to worry about. I can and do spend a lot of time ensuring my dog is as safe and comfortable as possible. I will do the same for your dog.

About: I have taken care of a wide range of breeds from pomeranians (my own) to collies, to vislas, to crossbreeds. My home has a gated garden therefore freedom to roam outside securely! I own my own dog Winston and he gets three walks a day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. I work from home some days during the week and these days I have the back door open for the dog to roam in and out the house as he pleases. I have eyes on him at all times as my dining table is located at the back door which is beneficial. I have one friendly dog who will keep your dog company and a fenced garden. My neighbours are an elderly couple who give my dog one treat every day through the fence and they love it when I take my other neighbours dogs for the day, the more the merrier. My area has lots of nice woodland walks near by and I have a car to travel to spots in the area - dogs will ALWAYS be kept safely on the lead. Open to altering my day to fit around the specific needs of your dog.

About: I have many years experience with pet care, including working in a Veterinary Practice, dog walking, check in’s and even overnight stays! I currently work in a local, independent pet shop where I love getting to meet the different pets that come in & get cuddles throughout the day. Through my experience in the pet shop I am educated in dietary requirements and the medical wellbeing of all types of pets and can give recommendations based on your pets needs. I can also provide lots of natural tasty treats! Everyone who has met me, have said they fully trust me with their pet and couldn’t picture anyone else more suited to take care of them and to rely on. I currently own a 2 year old Collie named Clover who is my whole world :) I currently work at a small business Animal shop a couple of days a week. I am open for bookings on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Saturday and Sunday's, offering single and group walks. In the near future I am planning on making dog walking my full time job. I have always had a family dog growing up, and I currently own a Broderick Collie with my fiancé. So I have tons of experience caring for dogs and love being around them! By working in a Veterinary Practice, I have been trained in handling, health and safety and taking care of the pets we had in care. Over the years I have had friends and family reach out to myself to look after their pets including dogs, cats, fish and chickens. At home I also own guinea pigs and rabbits, so I have had a wide variety of animal care and experience.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. 🐾💜 I am currently transitioning into my final year at vet school which is claiming to be very full on leaving little free time however I update my calendar regularly so it’s usually accurate. With this being said I always try my best to fit in walks and drop ins so please do reach out and we can try sort something! I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet's needs. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping to their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: So happy to be back on rover after taking a break with life getting in the way (for those recognising my reviews are from two years ago). I currently work in mental health within the NHS while also studying part time but have years of experience looking after family dogs growing up, dog walking, sitting and boarding for friends, neighbours, family and to local owners. I'm back to Rover to begin walking more regularly as nothing fulfills me more than getting outdoors in all weathers and without being able to have a dog of my own for the moment, I'm taking this opportunity to combine my love of looking after and being around dogs and pets and the outdoors. I enjoy hikes and being outside in all weathers so much, and find so much joy in it having canine companions as I explore. I'm used to working with medium to large dogs and on occasion small dogs and am comfortable with all. I can lone work with your dog/dogs if they only work well with each other and ensure they're still getting outside and looked after. • I like to send an update and check-in with you at the start and end of the walk so you know what they've been up to and where they've been to for the day. • I'm more than happy to work with your training style if you've got a puppy to ensure consistency in development and progression • I have worked with reactive dogs, including rescues and do my best to ensure they're not overstimulated or triggered and have an enjoyable experience to build trust, feel cared for and safe properly I am looking to build a regular base of dogs I walk and look after to fit around current part time work and studying. I update my calendar regularly to reflect this. I have a fenced back garden and plenty of room in the house and comfortable areas for your pets to make themselves at home. There are also vast areas of green space and a country park nearby to walk your dogs.

About: I love all dogs - big and small! I grew up with dogs - a German short haired pointer and an Italian Spinone, as well as lots of other lovely dogs in my extended family too. I now have a three year old cocker spaniel called Juno. She is well trained and very sociable with all dogs and she loves to have other dogs to stay! I’m happy to work on any training needs your dog has while staying with me. I work from home 2 or 3 days a week. I tend to take Juno for one longer (1+ hours) walk per day as well as a couple of short trips to the park. I can adjust this depending on your dog - longer/more adventurous for energetic dogs and shorter/more gentle walks for older or slower dogs. We love to go down to Portobello, round Arthur’s Seat and up to Blackford Hill. I live on my own and have a 2 year old cocker spaniel. She is very friendly and gets on with all dogs - but also knows when to leave dogs that don’t want to play with her! I will only ever take one dog at a time so it will only ever be the two dogs together. I have a secure shared garden with grass lawn and surrounding stone wall. In the house, your dog can make itself at home. I have dog beds in both rooms and they are also welcome to be on the sofa/armchairs. I’ve got lots of dog toys and chews. My flat is on the third floor so may not be suitable for older dogs with mobility/joint issues.

We were very nervous about leaving our 9 year old schnauzer as we have never done it before . But after the love and attention she has had from Donald I would never hesitate to use him again . He treated her like she was his own , I know this because I think my dog wanted to stay lol Thanks again Donald .

Murphy had a wonderful stay with Hugh and Garvie. Lots of forest walks, and very well cared for. Murphy had Garvie had great times playing & walking together and sleeping side by side afterwards. Hugh provided regular and daily updates. Perfect peace of mind when away. Am sure Murphy will love to return for his next holiday!

Best pet sitter ever! We received plenty of updates and pictures which made me feel so much better with leaving Tess. Yo, Koko and their kids gave her a home from home and you could tell she was so happy and content staying with them. I will be using them next time we need someone to look after Tess x

Ollie stayed with the family for a week. We had good videos every day showing them playing with Ollie and with him bouncing around chasing toys looking very happy. They also showed pictures of them walking Ollie. Ollie was well looked after and we would use them again.

Jennifer was kind, helpful and efficient at getting back to me, and making quick arrangements for a stay as well as squeezing in a Meet and Greet beforehand. I was impressed with the Meet & Greet, as well as showing us around her home and garden, Jennifer wanted to go for a walk with Digory and ourselves so that she could see firsthand how to handle him. Very reassuring. From the start, it was clear to us that Digory was settled and happy. Regular messages, questions and pictures assured us that he was being carefully and thoughtfully looked after.

Margaret was fantastic with our nervous greyhound, Doddie. We had regular updates and photographs of his walks, which looked amazing in beautiful countryside. Before we left, after meeting Margaret ( with Doddie) at her home , I was confident that he was going to be well looked after. Obviously a caring, genuine dog lover and keen to make our boy relaxed.
