“Taisa and my very anxious dog got along so well - it was very clear that she's an absolute natural with animals. She was very understanding of my dogs quirks and routines and has been wonderfully communicative throughout, even sent some lovely photos. Can't recommend her enough!”

“I am really pleased to have chosen Monica to look after my dog Evee. Evee liked her and felt safe from the moment they met. It became quite clear from our first chat that had good understanding of dogs and how to care for them. She is professional, trustworthy and friendly in all her interactions and I will continue to use Monica’s services in the future.”

“This was our intro walk between Cameron and Phoenix to make sure she was happy. She was very excited to see Cameron and was lovely to be provided with update photos post walk. Cameron will be doing a weekend overnight with Phoenix next month and I am confident that Phoenix will have a great weekend with Cameron. Thanks Cameron.”

“Christiana was a huge hit with Zeph. He took to her straight away and she was so sweet with him. Even when they came back he took the time to give her cuddles and kisses goodbye, normally he runs in the house looking for water. We will definitely seek out Christiana again. Thank you for taking your time with Zeph and being a great communicator!”

“Gemma has been amazing with my puppy, he loved her immediately! I love seeing the photos of him on his walks and he clearly has a great time with her ☺️ Would highly recommend Gemma to walk your dog!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and absolutely love them! I’m new to Rover but not new to pet sitting. I have looked after older animals, and pets requiring medicine. I am happy to stay overnight/housesit if needed! My experience includes: - Petsitting/walking overnight for a diabtetic miniature daschund and administered insulin. - Walking a golden retriever and love taking him for long walks to tire him out - Overnights/walking for an elderly black lab with arthritis - Overnights for two fiesty outdoor cats with specific dietary needs And I currently own an indoor tuxedo cat! I’m a student and part-time bartender at Strathclyde University, since the university and Union are closed right now I’m currently free most days! I’m very flexible and happy to meet your needs. I am not able to look after pets in my home as I have a rescue cat, but I’m happy to come to you!

“Excellent. Andra was able to wrangle my boxer for his walks, and he does enjoy being a menace, so I’m very grateful. Also, Andra had to collect my dog from a relative’s house for his walks as I am out of the country, so managing the coordination of that could have been tricky, but she handled it perfectly. She also sent me lots of pictures, which again currently being out of the country, was great for me! Thanks again - would certainly book in the future!”

“Jamie has been absolutely brilliant with our cockapoo Teddy. She has been so flexible and accommodating. The end of walk reports are always so detailed and we get so many photos. She is so reliable and Waffle is just good as gold which is a real credit to Jamie. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have many years of dedicated and trusted pet sitter for friends and family before joining the Rover app, I offer a level of care that goes far beyond basic dog walking. Available most days from 11 am till 10 pm My extensive background is backed by professional certifications in pet first aid and advanced dog training. I’ve completed comprehensive course in professional dog walking. I am currently a member of the Guild of Dog Trainers entry level Companion Assistant Dog Trainer. This unique combination of hands-on experience and formal training allows me to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for your beloved companion. I specialise in providing tailored care for playful puppies and mixed breed rescue dogs with behavioural issues. My true passion and expertise, however, lie in working with anxious, nervous, or fear-based reactive dogs, particularly guardian breeds. I approach every dog with a calm, caring, and nurturing demeanor, creating a sense of trust and security that allows even the most sensitive dogs to relax and thrive in my care. What Sets Me Apart. I got my first dog at the age of 5 years old, after asking for a puppy constantly my Dad came home with a wee Whippet. Other breeds dogs that i have experience of are Bedlington Terrier, Jack Russell, Chow Chow, German Shepherd, King Charles Spaniel, Shetland Sheepdog, Border Collie, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Cane Corso. My commitment to transforming dogs' lives and supporting dog owners is best illustrated by a recent case study. I undertook behaviour modification program with dogs who had a history of biting and was at risk of being euthanised. While this intensive program is not a typical service, it demonstrates the depth of my dedication and my ability to handle even the most challenging situations with compassion and expertise. When you entrust your pet to my care, you can be confident they are in the hands of a true professional who is deeply committed to their well-being. My life revolves around dogs, and my own dogs are testament to that commitment. I have started working as self employed dog walker and dog trainer after years of doing it for free to help out friends and family. I am dedicated to hands-on training with my own dogs, a practice that not only sharpens my skills but also ensures I am always bringing the most current and effective techniques to the pets I care for. Saturday I have coaching walk and talk with my own dog and dog training clients. I take Sundays and Mondays to focus on admin and self care. This routine allows me to offer consistent, focused attention to your dog ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and companionship. Therefore, my availability works around about my own dogs. To ensure your pet's utmost comfort and to maintain a consistent routine, I provide all my pet care services exclusively within your own home. This approach allows your pet to remain in their familiar environment, surrounded by their own scents, toys, and comforts, which significantly reduces stress and anxiety while you are away. Currently, I am unable to host pets in my own home as I reside in a rented property where I do not have permission to board other animals. By offering to come to your home, I can give your pet my full attention in the space where they feel most secure, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for everyone.

“Lysette is so lovely! And has been great with our shy boy, managing to encourage him to go out in the rain is a big achievement! Sent lots of pictures and kept us informed. Very grateful to her Thank you!”

“Amy was so kind and responsive right from the start, and she took amazing care of my boy! She’s competent, clearly an animal lover, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was taking amazing care of my Finley while I was away on holiday. I got adorable photos and videos of Finley loving life on his walks, and knowing he was getting the best care possible allowed me to relax! I highly recommend Amy as she’ll take excellent care of your fur baby!”

“All good, was very happy to see that Josh wasnt phased by Muttons anti-social behaviour. Im absolutely assured that when Mutton stays with Josh for a few hours, that he'll be well looked after.”

Nat was absolutely fantastic with my dogs! One of my dogs is blind, so I can be quite nervous about leaving her with someone new, but Nat was so lovely, patient and understanding. She was more than willing to take the time to give her the extra care and reassurance she needed, which gave me such peace of mind. Nat was also incredibly accommodating when I made a last-minute request, and she was happy to help without any fuss. Both dogs were clearly very happy and well looked after, and Nat was reliable, caring and great to communicate with throughout the week. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Nat walk my dogs again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets.

Christiana was a huge hit with Zeph. He took to her straight away and she was so sweet with him. Even when they came back he took the time to give her cuddles and kisses goodbye, normally he runs in the house looking for water. We will definitely seek out Christiana again. Thank you for taking your time with Zeph and being a great communicator!

Tia had THE best time with Lucy - and I massively appreciated the constant photos & updates! Tia is a rescue so can be nervous, but Lucy asked all the right questions, and was incredibly competent - which gave me so much confidence that Tia was in completely safe hands ☺️ I couldn’t recommend Lucy more to take care of your dog - Tia absolutely loved her!!

Taisa and my very anxious dog got along so well - it was very clear that she's an absolute natural with animals. She was very understanding of my dogs quirks and routines and has been wonderfully communicative throughout, even sent some lovely photos. Can't recommend her enough!

As expected, the Divine Miss Amber retreated to her bed chamber leaving Lucy desperately trying to prove that she was friend not foe. Miss A is pretty nervous around new people and Lucy did a sterling job trying to win her trust. Rome wasn't built in a day as they say. Lucy made great strides in winning Amber over but she flatly refused to join Lucy on a walk. Lucy made some sensible suggestions on how to proceed in the future. Thank you for being so patient with our gal.

Joaquin has been simply great. My dog is not easy to walk and he had absolutely no problems. I needed walks on many consecutive days early in the morning and in the afternoons and Joaquin has always been perfectly reliable, fantastic with communication and Lola was eager to go out with him every time he rang the bell of the house. I recommend his services without reserve. Thanks Joaquín!!
