“Lucy was so attentive and caring to our wee pup. During our initial meeting and greet our dog took to her right away. She gave us a break down of each walk and provided us with lots of pictures. Thank you, Lucy!”

“Monica is great! My pup warmed up to her quickly and she's so understanding of her needs when it comes to reactivity or anxiety. I am very glad to have her caring for my dog.”

“Carla has been and is amazing! She listened and took on board all of my dogs silly ways and she now has a great bond with my dog. She updated me after every walk and sends pictures and any updates that I need. Which is highly appreciated. She is reliable, friendly and trustworthy.”

About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting using Rover for the past 3 years. On top of this I have lived with pets since I was 6. I’m very familiar with living and caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes, behaviours and ages. When I am not at university I live with a 12 year old dalmatian, and previously helped to care for an excitable kitten and household cat for 12 years. I am experienced in walking, feeding and general hygiene and care of animals. Along with personal experience, I also volunteered at the Cats Protection shelter for 1 year. I learned how to maintain excellent hygiene of their living areas and also how to approach a range of cats with differing moods and behaviours. I am currently a student on summer break so I am free to help out for the summer months until university starts back in September. My full attention is given to animals under my care. I keep an eye on the pet and ensure that all of its needs are taken care of whilst also allowing them their own space. Your approach towards pets is key, their mood can vary and their behaviours give an indication of how much attention or space they are wanting at that moment, trust is built upon this slowly. In others homes, allowing them to come to you and letting them adjust to having you around is the best method, keeping a calm environment. A meet up before hand is always handy as well for us to see how things will play out.
“Ian made it very easy to arrange a fairly last-minute booking. Communication was great and he kept me updated throughout and on the walks. Hassle-free to drop off / arrange keys too. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Ian!”

“Dorina was great with our dog Raki. She's always punctual and sends us lots of pictures. Great communication and amazing with our dog. Raki loves her and gets super excited every time she sees her. I totally recommend her!”

About: Currently on a sabbatical while I work on a book, and have plenty of time to visit and spend with your loved ones, taking lots of photos to assure you they are being well looked after! I have plenty of experience and patience, and I'm happy to sit and wait for a cat to become comfortable with me, treats to offer, scratches and pets available on demand
About: I’ve had cats my whole life and love to look after friends and family pets. I’ve housesat farms and enjoy the outdoors walking and playing with other people’s animals. I’m currently writing books from home and a homemaker to a primary age boy. I can work within school hours after school clubs and weekends. I love animals and have great patience as-well as lots of energy. I have 3 friendly cats at home and parks nearby. A community garden at hand and plenty of energy to exercise your pups and can look after them however you would like me too.

About: Hey! I’ve looked after dogs for the majority of my life and loved every second. I have a trademark, passionate style of enthusiasm for everything I do. Before I left for glasgow, I used to do youth work in fife and so I have transferable idea of how to manage the excitable dogs, as well as the relaxed ones. While my first dog was a black Labrador, the current pups (at my folks’ house) are two little troublemaking pugs. And so I have a special place in my heart for the little dogs who might be considered “trouble” I’m the ideal sitter for those who work in town, and need their lil guy/gal walked during the day. As I am in the city centre, you’d be able to drop your pup off on the way to work, and pick them up on your way back. Give me a shout and I can clear up any queries you may have :) I work part time and from home, and so I’ll be sure to entertain your pup throughout the day :) I’m not too far from green spaces either so your lil guy/gal will have plenty to do! The first thing I do is make sure the area is clear of any potential hazards. Anything that is small enough to be swallowed, and accessible, should be moved to a safe place out of view.
“I'm so glad I chose Jokha to walk my dog Billy! She was flexible and understanding of his needs, but most of all she was really sweet and caring to him😊 I will definitely book her again in the future!”

“This was our intro walk between Cameron and Phoenix to make sure she was happy. She was very excited to see Cameron and was lovely to be provided with update photos post walk. Cameron will be doing a weekend overnight with Phoenix next month and I am confident that Phoenix will have a great weekend with Cameron. Thanks Cameron.”

“Agnieszka has been walking our little French bulldog, Bruna, for the past week, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She’s attentive, communicates promptly about any updates or changes, and has been so reliable. Our Bruna adores her, which is a huge bonus for us. Highly recommend her services!”

About: I grew up with different pets, such as hamsters, turtles, even fish, but mainly a beautiful golden retriever, Rocky, who quickly became my best friend. He has been part of our family for as long as I can remember. A few years later, we adopted a rescue german sheperd mix, Sira, who we have given a lot of love to as well. I have had experience helping out caring for friends and family's pets, and have always been very comfortable around them. I am currently a full time student but can make arrangements to work durning the week days. On the weekends I can work any time. I can offer my home to pets but would also be more than happy to spend time with your pet in their home and/or in a park!
“Robert has been fantastic with Otto, he has sent me photos of their walk together, he is lovely guy and you can see that he loves animals and knows how to handle them perfectly, highly recommended.”

We pay close attention to everything you tell us, from feeding times and daily activities to any special needs they might have, and we always treat your home with the utmost respect. You will get regular updates and photos, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine as I work part-time and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet, whether it’s during the day, evenings, or weekends. I’m also available on weekends, which makes it easy for me to accommodate different needs like walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I create a safe, welcoming environment tailored to each pet’s needs—whether in my home or yours. At my place, pets enjoy a clean, hazard-free space with plenty of attention and affection. If I’m caring for them in their own home, I stick closely to their routine to ensure they feel secure and stress-free. I always treat pets like family and handle every home with care and respect, building trust through consistent, reliable, and loving care.

About: Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their usual routine, I will treat your pets with the same care and respect as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently a grad student, so I have plenty of time to look after your fur babies, and I provide all necessary care required I understand that pets can feel anxious when their owners are away, so I take a calm, patient, and caring approach to help them feel comfortable and secure.
Glasgow dog owners share their Rover experiences
As expected, the Divine Miss Amber retreated to her bed chamber leaving Lucy desperately trying to prove that she was friend not foe. Miss A is pretty nervous around new people and Lucy did a sterling job trying to win her trust. Rome wasn't built in a day as they say. Lucy made great strides in winning Amber over but she flatly refused to join Lucy on a walk. Lucy made some sensible suggestions on how to proceed in the future. Thank you for being so patient with our gal.

Joaquin has been simply great. My dog is not easy to walk and he had absolutely no problems. I needed walks on many consecutive days early in the morning and in the afternoons and Joaquin has always been perfectly reliable, fantastic with communication and Lola was eager to go out with him every time he rang the bell of the house. I recommend his services without reserve. Thanks Joaquín!!

We recently used a dog walker for the first time and couldn't be happier with our choice. Anna looked after our Vizsla puppy with such warmth and professionalism. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and made us feel completely at ease. Anna clearly has a genuine love for dogs and we highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. Thank you so much!

Kelsy had walked my elderly mum's spaniel. Kelsey truly loves animals and my mum's spaniel loved her instantly. I found Kelsey to be a friendly, warm and caring person. My mum has dementia so it's was very important for me to get the right person. I needn't have worried as my mum loved Kelsey the minute she met her. I will definately book Kelsy again. I'm very glad I found her and so is Monty dog 🐾🐾

Cameron was polite, responsible and respectful and has a natural affinity with dogs. My two Boston Terriers responded excitedly when he arrived to take them for a walk and left my house with no hesitation even though they're not used to new people walking them. They arrived home happy and ready for a nap after each walk and he sent me photos of them having fun. Thank you Cameron.

So grateful to have found such a brilliant dog walker and safe pair of hands in Ian. My dog absolutely loves his walks with Ian - always comes back happy and tired and wagging his tail. Ian is confident, kind and no nonsense with my rather opinionated beagle, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
