About: I’ve have grown up with loads of pets ranging from fish and hamsters to a cat and a dog. I love walking and have experience with a puppy so would be comfortable with dogs of all ages. I’m a law student at the University of Glasgow with a flexible schedule and lots of time to house sit and go on lots of long walks! I can crate dogs and follow whatever routine and safety you have set up in your own home. I am not providing sitting at my own house.

About: Animal lover who’s always happy to help care for pets as if they were my own - whether that’s going on long walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I have grown up with dogs and regularly cat and dog sit for friends, so I’m comfortable with a range of personalities and routines. I’ve also trained a puppy while working as a nanny, giving me hands-on experience with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. While I’m not in a position to have a pet full-time, house sitting and dog walking allow me to do something I genuinely enjoy while giving owners peace of mind. I’m reliable, attentive, and focused on making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I am working full time as a civil servant, with flexible hybrid working. If you are local I can pop by throughout the day for walks or companionship or I can spend longer there and work at your place. I can also have pets at my place but I understand pets are often more comfortable in their own space. I will adhere to whatever parameters work for you and your pet/house. At my place I have a fenced garden and park opposite for walks.
“Emma was a pleasure to work with: always responsive with the phone, always smiling and always happy to walk Lola, and Lola can be challenging! I recommend her wholeheartedly and I am sure I will be contacting her again in the future. Thank you Emma for all your help!”

“I am really pleased to have chosen Monica to look after my dog Evee. Evee liked her and felt safe from the moment they met. It became quite clear from our first chat that had good understanding of dogs and how to care for them. She is professional, trustworthy and friendly in all her interactions and I will continue to use Monica’s services in the future.”

About: I have worked with cats and dogs at an animal rescue in North Carolina for the past two years, giving me the chance to learn how to approach a variety of temperaments (including reactive dogs), breeds, ages and sizes. Additionally, I received training in administering oral medications for dogs and cats. In addition to rescue work, I have my own rescued German Shepherd mix who has joined me in a variety of adventures for the last six years. Before him, I had a lovely orange tabby that was an expert mouser who patrolled my home for 13 years before she crossed the rainbow bridge. Currently I have flexible time offering me the chance to provide a more varied schedule of care. Mornings and evenings are generally free, and with enough notice I am also available for weekend care. I am able to tailor care to the individual animal, be it crating if needed or leaving them free-roaming. In my home, my dog was able to be left free-roaming after plenty of time dedicated to training, and the cat had free reign of indoors and outdoors.

About: I have many years of dedicated and trusted pet sitter for friends and family before joining the Rover app, I offer a level of care that goes far beyond basic dog walking. My extensive background is backed by professional certifications in pet first aid and advanced dog training. I’ve completed comprehensive course in professional dog walking. I am currently a member of the Guild of Dog Trainers entry level Companion Assistant Dog Trainer. This unique combination of hands-on experience and formal training allows me to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for your beloved companion. I specialise in providing tailored care for playful puppies and mixed breed rescue dogs with behavioural issues. My true passion and expertise, however, lie in working with anxious, nervous, or fear-based reactive dogs, particularly guardian breeds. I approach every dog with a calm, caring, and nurturing demeanor, creating a sense of trust and security that allows even the most sensitive dogs to relax and thrive in my care. What Sets Me Apart. I got my first dog at the age of 5 years old, after asking for a puppy constantly my Dad came home with a wee Whippet. Other breeds dogs that i have experience of are Bedlington Terrier, Jack Russell, Chow Chow, German Shepherd, King Charles Spaniel, Shetland Sheepdog, Border Collie, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Cane Corso. My commitment to transforming dogs' lives and supporting dog owners is best illustrated by a recent case study. I undertook behaviour modification program with dogs who had a history of biting and was at risk of being euthanised. While this intensive program is not a typical service, it demonstrates the depth of my dedication and my ability to handle even the most challenging situations with compassion and expertise. When you entrust your pet to my care, you can be confident they are in the hands of a true professional who is deeply committed to their well-being. My life revolves around dogs, and my own dogs are testament to that commitment. I have started working as self employed dog walker and dog trainer after years of doing it for free to help out friends and family. I am dedicated to hands-on training with my own dogs, a practice that not only sharpens my skills but also ensures I am always bringing the most current and effective techniques to the pets I care for. Saturday I have coaching walk and talk with my own dog and dog training clients. I take Sundays and Mondays to focus on admin and self care. This routine allows me to offer consistent, focused attention to your dog ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and companionship. Therefore, my availability works around about my own dogs. To ensure your pet's utmost comfort and to maintain a consistent routine, I provide all my pet care services exclusively within your own home. This approach allows your pet to remain in their familiar environment, surrounded by their own scents, toys, and comforts, which significantly reduces stress and anxiety while you are away. Currently, I am unable to host pets in my own home as I reside in a rented property where I do not have permission to board other animals. By offering to come to your home, I can give your pet my full attention in the space where they feel most secure, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for everyone.

About: I grew up with different pets, such as hamsters, turtles, even fish, but mainly a beautiful golden retriever, Rocky, who quickly became my best friend. He has been part of our family for as long as I can remember. A few years later, we adopted a rescue german sheperd mix, Sira, who we have given a lot of love to as well. I have had experience helping out caring for friends and family's pets, and have always been very comfortable around them. I am currently a full time student but can make arrangements to work durning the week days. On the weekends I can work any time. I can offer my home to pets but would also be more than happy to spend time with your pet in their home and/or in a park!

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Glasgow
As expected, the Divine Miss Amber retreated to her bed chamber leaving Lucy desperately trying to prove that she was friend not foe. Miss A is pretty nervous around new people and Lucy did a sterling job trying to win her trust. Rome wasn't built in a day as they say. Lucy made great strides in winning Amber over but she flatly refused to join Lucy on a walk. Lucy made some sensible suggestions on how to proceed in the future. Thank you for being so patient with our gal.

Joaquin has been simply great. My dog is not easy to walk and he had absolutely no problems. I needed walks on many consecutive days early in the morning and in the afternoons and Joaquin has always been perfectly reliable, fantastic with communication and Lola was eager to go out with him every time he rang the bell of the house. I recommend his services without reserve. Thanks Joaquín!!

We recently used a dog walker for the first time and couldn't be happier with our choice. Anna looked after our Vizsla puppy with such warmth and professionalism. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and made us feel completely at ease. Anna clearly has a genuine love for dogs and we highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. Thank you so much!

Kelsy had walked my elderly mum's spaniel. Kelsey truly loves animals and my mum's spaniel loved her instantly. I found Kelsey to be a friendly, warm and caring person. My mum has dementia so it's was very important for me to get the right person. I needn't have worried as my mum loved Kelsey the minute she met her. I will definately book Kelsy again. I'm very glad I found her and so is Monty dog 🐾🐾

Cameron was polite, responsible and respectful and has a natural affinity with dogs. My two Boston Terriers responded excitedly when he arrived to take them for a walk and left my house with no hesitation even though they're not used to new people walking them. They arrived home happy and ready for a nap after each walk and he sent me photos of them having fun. Thank you Cameron.
