About: Hi, I’m Sophia, a 22-year-old student at the University of Glasgow! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always had a strong love for animals. Our family dog was a German Shepherd cross, so I’m comfortable around larger breeds as well as smaller dogs. After he passed away, my family and I began dog sitting and caring for many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Since moving to Glasgow for university, I’ve really missed having dogs around, so I decided to get back into dog sitting and dog walking. I’ve absolutely loved being able to spend more time with animals again and getting to know each pet’s unique personality. While I have plenty of experience with dogs, I’m also a huge cat lover and really enjoy spending time with cats of all ages and temperaments. I’ve even befriended many of the neighbourhood cats near me! I am a university student about to start my final year of an integrated master’s degree. My schedule is flexible outside of lectures and study time, and I can plan my day around pet care. I am available for regular toilet breaks, walks, feeding, and attention throughout the day depending on the booking. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. About: I have a Bichon Frise of my own and have been raising him for over ten years. I’ve also looked after dogs for friends on many occasions. I like dogs since I was a child, so I genuinely understand how much pets mean to their owners. I am a student in summer vacation, so I am generally available most of the time as long as I am informed in advance. especially free in the afternoon everyday I usually walk dogs twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. About: Hey! I'm Shauna. I've had animals all my life, from dogs and cats to birds and rodents. I'm fascinated by wildlife and the small creatures of our planet. Growing up I would collect insects, make an enclosure and watch them for days in my room, as well as attempting to save poor little song birds that had often been injured by larger birds or cats. My realisation for my love for animals came when I'd help out at my local stables with the horses from a very young age. I'd help brush, bathe and ride them for a walk, and from then my passion grew like wild ivy. I loved the responsibility of walking and training my dogs, and I would also walk friends and neighbours dogs in my spare time. In 2019 I began volunteering as a veterinary care assistant where I learned valuable knowledge and skills which furthered my passion of caring for animals, and after two years of dedicated unpaid work I was finally officially employed as a veterinary care assistant. I spent some years in this role but some life circumstances sent me on another journey to work in a pet shop, and finally a doggy daycare. I love working in the daycare, I'm very dedicated to all of our pups and love to make sure they have a great day. But I feel my time with them is never enough, so I've chosen to do walking and dog sitting during my time off. My whole existence centres around dogs and I can't imagine a better time spent with any other being! I currently work in a doggy daycare, 4 out of 7 days. I am able to provide my services from 7pm weekdays, and have full availability Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You're welcome to create a schedule as I prefer to have a clean cut routine. In general, dogs will be walked 2x a day, though I am happy to offer 3x as I always recommend 3 walks for dogs. I will never give treats unless you say it is ok, as I know how important it can be to follow a strict diet for some dogs. I always encourage play with dogs but please know I won't push boundaries if the dog is not interested. I know we all love to see our babies playing but sometimes it just isn't for them and that's okay. Your dog will always be kept on the lead, unless there is a specific enclosed park that your dog is familiar with, and you and I are both confident in your dogs recall.

About: I had a dog and looked after my friend's and neighbour's dogs before for years. Surprisingly, most of the dogs I had spent time with were good boys! Recently, I looked after my previous flatmate's dog who requires special care e.g. scared of loud noise and kids. As a full-time professional, I’m available to care for dogs on weekends and bank holidays—perfect for those who need a trusted carer during their time away. Locations in the city center, West End, or anywhere easily accessible by subway suit me best. I ensure each dog gets the care and attention they deserve! I live in a rental flat where dogs are not permitted, so I’m unable to offer overnight care at my place. However, I’m more than happy to look after dogs during the day or take them for walks outside—it’s no problem at all!

About: I am a 3rd year Veterinary Student at the Univeristy of Glasgow. I've been passionate and around animals all my life and will forever prioritise them. I've rode horses when I was younger for six years, had rodents as pets, and have a springer spaniel at home currently. I've been on many weeks of placement for my vet degree which covered all aspects of animals care, I have done 3 weeks at a kennels and cattery as well as many other weeks with different species. I am very flexible during summer so I am available to do weekdays and weekends. This will be until September. Once term starts it will be limited to weekends with the occasional weekday here and there depending on my schedule. I will only care for pets at the owners home as I live in a flat that does not allow pets in it unfortunately. I will follow instructions carefully and make sure their routine is kept the same to make sure your furry friend is kept happy and safe.

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was a wee guy. I’ve also owned several throughout my life. I’m good with training and I’m quite strong so can easily handle dogs. Also got experience with my aunts senior dog and know they may need medicine and a bit extra help. Currently working from home so plenty of time on my hands. I enjoy the outdoors so figured this would be the best way to spend my extra free time.
