I and my friend(flatmate), Ash regularly dog sit and host her cousin’s Cavapoo who lives in Edinburgh, providing walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. We’ve looked after a Cavapoo for weeks at a time, so we’re used to having furry guests around and making them part of our everyday life. I’ll always stick to your pet’s routine as closely as I can, whether that’s meal times, walks, medication, or just their favourite way to relax. And of course, I’ll send plenty of photos and updates, because I know how much it helps when you’re missing them!

About: I have taken care of cats and various smaller animals as a child up till I was 18 my family always had dogs but we were never allowed one at home due to the cat so always enjoyed my families dogs by taking them walks and watching them whilst my family were on holiday and taking them walks when others family members couldn’t I’ve taken care of small and big dogs I’m a freelance musician so I can work at different times with long periods of time of no work so whatever suits for the owner and I have agreed on available at short notice I follow their care plan set out by the owner as they know best for their animals and I ensure the animals are cared for as and when they need set to their own routine I can walk dogs and watch cats with clear instructions

I am so happy that Natalie looked after Hamish while I was away. She was friendly and efficient from our first message. Natalie was organised, reliable and communicative throughout; providing excellent updates, pics and videos of Hamish and what he was up to. I felt very grateful and relieved to have found such a warm, personable and on the ball cat visitor. From pics and videos, Hamish clearly took to Natalie happily sitting, lying about chilling, getting pets and affection. Taisa was absolutely wonderful looking after Elio over several days during our busy summer holidays. Her communication was fantastic throughout, and we loved receiving all the photos and videos. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
