Jade took wonderful care of Leo and Thomas while we were away. She was attentive, patient, and clearly understands cats and their personalities. We loved receiving updates and could see how relaxed and happy they were with her. It’s not easy to trust someone with your pets, but Jade made it effortless. Highly recommended.

About: I have over 40years experience with dogs of all different breeds. I will respect your wishes with regards to feeding, walking, training etc and will treat your pet with the same love and affection as you do while trying to maintain the same routine while they are boarding with me. I live in Bearsden only a 10 minute drive to Mugdock which is a fantastic place to exercise your pet. I also visit various other parks and have a good number of local walks to keep your pet active 🐾🐕 I have successfully passed 2 training courses with the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT).Dog ownership should be fun and enjoyable and I can help you achieve this. I am more than happy to help with any training for any dogs in my care. I have full security clearance (Enhanced Disclosure Scotland) and available for both walks and boarding, I am also happy to look after more than one dog if they are from the same family. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy and reliable to walk or board your dog please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements. I work Monday to Friday gardening and I take the dogs with me in my van. I have found they enjoy traveling in the van and get exercise in different gardens as well as stops in different parks. All my gardening clients know I look after dogs and are happy to have them in their gardens. I live in a quiet modern estate with a fence back garden. There are numerous local walk for dogs the I frequent throughout their stay.

Robyn has been amazing from start to finish - she met my friend who was passing her the keys a day early to meet Frankie for a smooth handover. She sent me photos every day and gave him loads of cuddles, and spent a bit of extra time with him when she had spare time one day. Honestly, 10/10 recommend. My friend who passed her the keys also said how lovely Robyn is in person too ♥️ Thank you for everything 🥰

About: I have grown up with pets and my passion aside from working in healthcare is caring for animals. I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including feeding, administering medications, walks, playtime, and providing a calm, safe environment when owners are away. I have experience with high-energy dogs who need plenty of exercise and with shy pets who need extra patience and gentle care. I’ve also helped family and friends with pet sitting, giving me hands-on knowledge in managing multiple pets, maintaining feeding schedules, and ensuring their routines stay consistent to keep them happy and stress-free. ⸻ 🌟 What Sets Me Apart • Reliable & Communicative – I send regular updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away. • Calm, Patient Approach – I take time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality. • Active Lifestyle – I love walking and playing, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and stimulation. • Clean & Respectful in Your Home – I leave your space tidy and your pets content. • Flexible Availability – I can adapt to your schedule, whether you need daily visits, overnight care, or last-minute bookings. I’m currently working remotely and flexible hours. Therefore, no request is too much. I am happy to discuss and accommodate to you and your pets needs. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I prioritise creating a safe and trusting environment by respecting their space and following all instructions carefully, including feeding, litter box cleaning, medications, and maintaining their usual routines to reduce stress. I always check that doors, windows, and gates are secure to keep pets safely inside and use their own bowls, beds, and toys for comfort. I ensure they get the right balance of attention, playtime, and quiet time, especially for shy cats who need patience. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets and home are in caring, responsible hands.

I had a fairly chaotic 72 hours and Iain was fantastic! He took on the booking last minute, was incredibly thorough, making sure he knew all the ins and outs of my somewhat fussy cat. I got regular updates with pictures and when I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency Iain was again very helpful and flexible. I would happily get Iain to look after my cats again in the future!

Jade is an amazing cat sitter. She is hardworking and quick to reply to messages. She provided lots of photos and gave lots of pets to our cat. She can deal with emergencies very well. She noticed that our cat wasn't using his litter tray anymore and also stopped eating and she made sure to stay with him during feeding time to help him eat again and cleaned his mess on our floors. Our cat is happy and safe. We cannot thank Jade enough and will definitely book her again in the future. Thank you again for everything.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other East Dunbartonshire pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in East Dunbartonshire choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
