About: Hi, I’m Sophia, a 22-year-old student at the University of Glasgow! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always had a strong love for animals. Our family dog was a German Shepherd cross, so I’m comfortable around larger breeds as well as smaller dogs. After he passed away, my family and I began dog sitting and caring for many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Since moving to Glasgow for university, I’ve really missed having dogs around, so I decided to get back into dog sitting and dog walking. I’ve absolutely loved being able to spend more time with animals again and getting to know each pet’s unique personality. While I have plenty of experience with dogs, I’m also a huge cat lover and really enjoy spending time with cats of all ages and temperaments. I’ve even befriended many of the neighbourhood cats near me! I am a university student about to start my final year of an integrated master’s degree. My schedule is flexible outside of lectures and study time, and I can plan my day around pet care. I am available for regular toilet breaks, walks, feeding, and attention throughout the day depending on the booking. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I stick to their usual routine, pay close attention to their individual needs, and make sure they’re never left in unsafe situations. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re getting on.
About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I am experienced with large dog breeds mostly and happy to assist with training if needed. I currently work from home full time and will be on maternity leave for 12 months from December so will have a flexible schedule to fit many needs I have a fenced garden with artificial grass, stones and paved area. About: I’ve always had an affinity with animals, predominantly cats and dogs. Currently have a 3 year old patterdale terrier I’ve trained myself. She’s super sociable and great with anxious dogs. I’m currently working part time from home and have time to look after more animals. Already I am out and about often with my own pup who is quite the adventurer. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I lost my own dog of 12 years last April, so I know how much pets mean to people and how important it is knowing they’re in safe hands. Since meeting my partner, his dog took to me straight away and we’ve become really close — I spend most of my free time with him. I’m used to both big and small breeds, including Border Collies, Staffy/Akita mixes and Cocker Spaniels. About: I have dog walked, dog and cat sat, and trained throughout my childhood and teenage years, and used that experience last year to work for a local company in my home town to walk and pet sit for pets of all kinds (cats, dogs of all sizes, and even birds). I am currently working from home with flexible hours, so I am able to look after your pets at anytime of the day for any length of time! Unfortunately I am unable to keep pets in my flat due to my tenancy agreement. Hope sent lots of photos and updates, and we came back to two happy cats and a very tidy flat. Was worried about leaving our wee 5 month old kitten home alone for the first time but Hope was great with her. She also gave our older cat his medication with no problem! Would defo rebook!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
