Heather has been fantastic with our wee Idris. She is diligent, caring, consistent, very calm, and loving. It’s such a relief knowing we can trust her with our boy, and know he’s in great hands, each and every time. Thank you Heather!

About: I work well with animals of all ages and always try hard to meet their specific needs, whether that involves high-energy playtime for pets or patient, gentle support for senior pets who need extra comfort. Having looked after the pets of friends and family, I come highly recommended as a reliable sitter who treats every animal like my own. I am comfortable following strict feeding schedules, administering basic medication, and providing the consistent attention your pets deserve while you are away. I work full-time, but I am fully available on Monday and Wednesday mornings, as well as throughout the weekends for longer sits and adventures. With a little advance notice, I am also happy to provide lunchtime visits for quick walks or check-ins. I genuinely love being outdoors in the fresh air, so walking your pets fits perfectly into my lifestyle. Whether it’s an energetic morning hike or a midday stretch, I’ll ensure your animals get the exercise and attention they need to stay happy and healthy. When caring for pets in your home, their safety and the security of your property are my top priorities. I start every stay with a Meet & Greet to walk through your specific routines, home security (like alarm codes or key placement), and any 'off-limits' areas. During my visits, I ensure all gates and doors are double-checked and locked. I follow your household rules strictly to maintain a consistent environment for your pets, reducing their stress while you’re gone. You can expect regular photo updates and messages after our walks or feedings so you have total peace of mind that your home is secure and your pets are happy, healthy, and well-cared for.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs from an early age, and caring for them has been a consistent part of my life. My family entrusted me with their care, which gave me extensive experience in handling a variety of breeds. Over the years, I have taken responsibility for feeding, walking, bathing, and providing overall care, ensuring each dog’s well-being to the best of my ability. I currently work part-time, and studying Law at Strathclyde University. My part-time hours mean that I work every Friday, in office which means this is the only day I am unable to look after any dogs. My University timetable is extremely flexible, where I may only be in 1 or 2 hours per day. Every morning I wake up and walk my own dog, making sure he gets big runs and all of his energy out for that morning. After this, I love to take him to the coffee shop where he will always get a pup cup! I will then make sure he is walked at night, and showered if need be before I make sure he’s super cosy for the rest of the night! He has his food and water out all day long, meaning he is able to nudge the door open and get to his food whenever he wishes to do so. He also gets let out for the toilet every 2 hours maximum. I live in a flat, however it is ground floor, with a fenced back garden where it is not possible for any dogs to escape! I love to make sure our pets are nice and cosy, with a place on the sofa with a little blanket for them to lie on, and lots of cosy cuddles! I love to bathe dogs and get them all nice and clean, with a special towel for them to dry on!

About: Hi, I’m Cirila — I’d love to look after your pet while you’re away and make sure they feel happy, safe and relaxed. I’ve grown up with animals and have over 10 years of pet-sitting experience. I share my home with Fox, my gentle and friendly lurcher, who’s calm, well socialised, and used to having other dogs around. I’m self-employed, so I’m home most of the time and can give your pet plenty of attention, cuddles, and company. Dogs staying with me get at least one nice long walk a day, plus extra walks or playtime depending on what they enjoy. I’m also happy to pet-sit in your home if that’s what your pet prefers. I have experience looking after cats and budgies, as well as small animals. I really enjoy getting to know each pet and treating them like part of the family. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered!) friend 🐶🐱🦜 Pet care is part of my everyday life. I’m self-employed, so I only take bookings when I’m working from home or on holiday, meaning your pet always has company. My own lurcher, Fox, keeps me on a routine of walks, playtime, and chill time — so looking after another dog just fits right in. I make sure every pet gets plenty of exercise, attention and a comfortable, calm day. In my home: Your dog becomes part of the family. They get daily walks, lots of company, playtime, and whatever routine you prefer. Fox is very friendly and enjoys having a buddy around. In your home: I follow your pet’s usual routine so they feel at home. I’m tidy, respectful, and send plenty of photo updates. With your permission, I may bring Fox along — he’s gentle and used to house-sitting with me.

About: I grew up with a beautiful 80lb dog, and have always been keen to help family and friends with dogwalking and dogsitting. I joined Rover not just because I miss having a dog around, but because I know it can be tough finding the right help when life gets busy. Though I work Monday-Friday I have a flexible schedule with hybrid working and will be able to give your dog all the walks and belly rubs they want! As a dog lover, I am comfortable with all different sizes of dogs with experience ranging from puppies to senior dogs, to Corgis and St Bernards. I am fairly active and like taking dogs for long walks, if they are able. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! As of right now, I am open to house sitting and drop ins, but not boarding due to house works. - Jordy I work Monday-Friday but I work hybrid hours (mix if office and work from home). Always keen to start the day with a walk or get my legs stretching at lunch and go out. We live in a house with a private fenced garden in a quiet street in a family friendly estate. Due to current house works, we are not boarding but I am available for house sitting.

About: I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own-ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. I have always had a love for animals, which led me to pursue both my studies and career in animal welfare. I hold a degree in Animal Science and an HND in Animal Care, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behaviour, and wellbeing. I also have over a year of hands-on experience working in an animal welfare / rescue role, where I cared for animals in a wide range of situations. This role helped me develop strong skills in handling, behaviour assessment, and welfare. In addition, I have volunteered in veterinary practices, assisting with general care and gaining experience with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I have grown up around animals my whole life, including both dogs and cats, and I currently have two dogs of my own a 3 year old Labrador (Oakley) and a 6 year old miniature dachshund (Lilly). Other animals I have experience with are all small furries, reptiles and amphibians, birds of prey, poultry, livestock, all UK wildlife and some exotics. Oakley came from a puppy farm and has had some behavioural challenges. Over the past two years, I have worked closely with behaviourists to manage his reactivity and support his development. Through this, I have gained hands-on experience with dog reactivity, barrier frustration, and training techniques to build confidence and calm behaviour. I am also experienced in administering medication. Growing up, my family dog had diabetes and Cushing’s disease, and I was responsible for giving daily medication, including insulin injections. I am passionate about enrichment and believe it is key to a dog’s wellbeing. I provide a balance of physical exercise, training, and mental stimulation through games, puzzles, and structured activities, especially important for high-energy or working breeds. Lilly, on the other hand, is very relaxed and affectionate, which has given me experience catering to dogs with different energy levels and personalities. Because of this, I am confident caring for dogs and cats with a wide range of needs. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, requires medication, or simply loves a cuddle, I will always provide care tailored to them with patience, understanding, and genuine love. I understand how important it is to feel connected to your pet while you’re away/ whilst they are in my care, so I always provide regular updates, including photos and messages, to give you peace of mind and let you see how they’re getting on. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking. This gives us the chance to get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, needs, and preferences, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident moving forward. I believe clear communication is key, and I will always keep you informed, follow your instructions closely, and make sure your pet’s routine is maintained as much as possible. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday, but I have a flexible schedule and can plan my own workload, allowing me to accommodate pet care where needed. I can be a little busier during the spring and summer months and quieter in the winter, but I will always do my best to fit you in. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch - I’d love to help 🙂 I am happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any specific requirements to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for in your home or on walks. This can include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning bowls, walks and/or garden time, administering medication, and plenty of play and attention. For safety, I keep dogs on a lead at all times during walks unless in a secure, designated roam-free area. However, if I have built a relationship and trust with your dog, or they have showed great re-call, off-lead walking will be considered. I will always keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and videos so you can feel reassured while your pet is in my care. I am also happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable.

About: Hi! 👋🏼 I'm Dionne! - Your dogs new best friend! Dogs have been at the centre of my world for years, and now caring for them is what I do full-time.🐶💖 I'm a very friendly, loving and caring person. I love to uplift people who are around me, as it makes me happy seeing others happy and seeing the passion that comes out of people when you support them in doing what they love. - I love animals too, Especially dogs! Dogs hold a special place in my heart, they are such wonderfully social creatures, and I adore getting to know all their unique personalities. I pride myself on creating a safe, loving experience where your pup feels supported, comfortable, and truly cared for. Whether it’s walks, play, or just being a calm, reassuring presence, I’m dedicated to making your dog’s time with me as happy as possible. I don't have a dog of my own, but I'd absolutely be honoured to take your dog out on one of my walking adventures or have them stay over, for as long as you'd like. Just let me know which service you'd like, and I'll most likely be available to help you. -------------------------------------- 💖 A personal note: On my profile, you’ll see photos of two very special boys — Star (The whippet) and McCoy (The Lhasa apso) — Who both hold a permanent place in my heart. 🌟 Star was a very happy whippet and my very first Rover booking. We became best friends instantly, and I was lucky enough to see him regularly. Always asking for sausages (even after I’d already given him two!), he brought so much joy to our walks, occasional playful moments, and cuddle sessions. Star didn’t play much, being an older boy, but every moment with him was special — from him running up the stairs to greet me, to his sweet little whippet face. He passed away on 03/08/23 at 5:00 pm, and although my heart broke hearing the news, I’m forever grateful for the bond we shared. Star will always be a cherished part of my Rover journey. 🐾 McCoy was one of my first regular bookings and quickly became my wee best pal. A quiet soul, he’d come for affection on his own terms, sometimes joining me on the couch before toddling off to curl up in his bed like the cosiest wee boy. He had his playful moments too, especially after a good walk, and I’ll always remember his gentle, comforting presence. Both Star and McCoy left paw prints on my heart that will never fade. Though they’re no longer here, the love and memories we shared will live on forever. 🌈❤️ -------------------------------------- Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s my daily routine and my full-time passion. 🐾 I'll try to go out of my way as much as possible to help you with whichever dates you'd prefer ✌🏻❤️ Your pup will be treated like family here: ✨ A safe, loving home where they can feel comfortable ✨ Plenty of walks, play, and cuddles tailored to their personality ✨ Regular photo & video updates so you always feel connected I enjoy making you happy, allowing you to comfortably leave your best friend in my hands, where you'll receive regular video and photo updates as much as you'd like and being able to show you that your best friend is being loved and cared for as if they were my own. I appreciate each and every one of my clients, and I especially appreciate my regular clients who allow me to regularly have fun with their but now, also my best friend, due to their regular bookings. I'm happy to now be your full time Fairy Dogmother, Haha! 🌸 Why pet parents choose me: Because I go beyond basic care. I take the time to get to know your dog — their quirks, comforts, and even anxieties. If your pup has special needs, I’ll work with you to make sure they’re supported every step of the way. Every booking is personal to me, and many of my clients have become like extended family — their dogs are just as excited to see me as I am to see them. That bond means everything. 💖 📸 A little extra: I studied photography in college, so capturing your dog’s personality is one of my favourite parts of the job. Clients often tell me how much they love the photos I take — some have even framed them for their walls! Knowing those memories mean so much to you makes my heart so happy. I love sharing the joy these pups bring into my life, and I’d love for you to be part of it too. 💖 Search "Dionne’s Dogs" on Facebook and follow along for updates, sweet photos, and plenty of wagging tails. 🐾📸 🏡 Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I provide a secure, fenced home where I live with my mum that has plenty of space for play and rest. And because I don’t have a dog of my own, your pup gets my undivided love and attention. There are a few grassy areas near me where I like to take dogs and let them have a good run around. I also make sure to learn about each dog’s individual needs — whether it’s special care, anxieties, or just their favourite daily routine — so they feel at home and fully supported.

Pauline took care of my cat, Bleu, for several months and was absolutely wonderful. She was always reliable, flexible, and incredibly helpful, which gave me real peace of mind. Bleu is very selective with people, so the fact that he adored her speaks volumes. I’m truly grateful for the care and attention she gave him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

I was very happy with the Rover drop-in Service that Pauline provided and felt that my cats , TC (Topcat), Nora and Pudding were very well looked after during my holiday. TC found her knee for cuddles and Nora happy to be petted. Pudding is a little shy, however still posed for the group dinning photos. Really enjoyed receiving the daily postcards and photos. Would definitely recommend Pauline and will have her look after my cats again should the need arise. Many thanks Pauline ☺️ Donna
