About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have cared for dogs and cats for many years. I grew up with my Labrador, who is now 14, and I helped train and care for her from a puppy through to her senior years. I regularly look after my uncle’s cat and friends’ cats, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines. I work in the finance industry and work from home regularly, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give pets company, attention and care throughout the day. I’m patient, responsible and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I live alone in a flat with no pets of my own, so your pet would have my full attention. I’m particularly suited to cats and smaller, house-trained dogs, and I’m happy to follow individual feeding, walking, medication or routine requirements. I live in an upstairs flat in a quiet residential area and have access to a small, secure garden behind the building. The garden isn’t directly accessible from my flat door, so dogs would need to be taken outside on a lead for regular toilet breaks. There is also a grassy area nearby, as well as plenty of options for regular walks. Because of this, I’m best suited to smaller, house-trained dogs who are comfortable being taken outside on a lead for toilet breaks and walks. I work from home regularly, so I’m able to provide lots of company and attention throughout the day. About: I've owned dogs and a variety of pets all my life. I completed my Animal Care qualification and also worked in a vets, giving me the knowledge to handle most situations calmly and confidently. About: Not had my own dogs before but have looked after friends previously. Happy to do multiple big walks a day as required and even runs if they like that! I currently work doing workshops in schools which is mostly term time and during the day. Some days there isn’t any work in a school and just working from home one or two days a week I have a large grassy garden for a pet to run around in which is secure. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
