“Julia was amazing, she made a right fuss of little Jinx and looked after him while I was away for three nights. She made a big effort and kept in contact while I was away with photos! Thanks so much Julia 🐈⬛”

“An absolute superstar, thanks again Sidney! She stayed in our home for 1 week taking care of our dog Charlie, sent regular updates and photos and left our house is such a nice and clean state. Everything went so smoothly and we left on our first holiday together with our children knowing Charlie was left in safe hands with lots of attention, cuddles and calmness ☺️ would without hesitation book you again and recommend you to whoever was looking for a reliable and kind soul to look after your four legged best friend 💞”

About: I have been looking after cats for a little over 7 years. I started by caring for my sister's cat Frankie, who is a rescue and was a stray cat originally. I have looked after cats for both short periods of time from a couple days, up to longer periods of 3 months. This has included feeding them, taking them on walks, giving medication, as well as having the pleasure of cuddling and playing with them. I have also looked after cats for multiple friends, one of whom had 4 cats! I've looked after lots of rescues, a variety of breeds and both cats who are more affectionate and social, as well as cats who are more shy and independent. I absolutely adore spending time with a furry friend and would be honoured to meet yours! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to keep your cat company. When I arrive home from a shift, looking after your cat and showing them lots of love and affection will be my number one priority, as well as something that I highly look forward to through out the day. I always ensure to keep a cozy and safe environment for cats. I ensure there are lots of soft blankets around as well as snuggly toys!
About: I’ve taken care of four cats and a dog. My dog is 6 years old, we’ve had past dogs, so I have puppy experience too! I work freelance and part-time so can take care of pets around the clock. I have two flatmates, who are all friendly with animals and are happy to have them if need be! I’m used to be very close with pets and giving them a very personal and gentle care experience. I’ve had pets sleep on the bed, regular cuddles or just days when they want to be left alone.
“Erin was absolutely amazing with Fergus, our rescue greyhound. He loved spending time with them and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Erin's petsitting. They went above and beyond to help us. They stepped in at very short notice, they were on time and just genuinely warm and eager to help. Book Erin! You won't regret it.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I lost my own dog of 12 years last April, so I know how much pets mean to people and how important it is knowing they’re in safe hands. Since meeting my partner, his dog took to me straight away and we’ve become really close — I spend most of my free time with him. I’m used to both big and small breeds, including Border Collies, Staffy/Akita mixes and Cocker Spaniels. I also help care for family members’ and neighbours’ dogs regularly, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime or just keeping them company. Dogs usually warm to me very quickly and I genuinely just love being around them. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your dog the attention, care and company they need. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting throughout the week and weekends. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I’m always happy to fit my routine around their needs and keep them comfortable and settled. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first with me. I’m very attentive to routines, behaviour and making sure pets feel relaxed in their environment. I’m experienced with both large and small breeds and understand that every dog is different. Whether that’s sticking to feeding schedules, long walks, playtime or just giving them company and reassurance, I’ll care for them like they’re my own.
“Fallon was fantastic looking after our slightly anxious Labrador for a few days recently. Regular updates helped us relax on our family holiday knowing that he was in great hands and having a fun time while we were away. We will definitely try and book Fallon again for any future trips”

“Bruce housesat for us and took care of our little dachshund Sigmund for 6 days while we were travelling, and was just amazing. From start to end, he was just amazing - lovely, warm personality, very loving to animals and very knowledgeable as well. Our dog is a bit of a character and can be very reactive/aggressive with other dogs and strangers, but Bruce handled all of that in stride, trying various training techniques on walks and even got Sigi cuddling and playing with his own young dog. He has a great way with animals for sure and just hugely reliable and pleasant to deal with. Whilst we were gone he sent us loads of updates and videos/pics, and also took amazing care of our apartment. Hugely recommended!”

About: For the last few months, my housemate and I have taken in friends' dogs to stay for a few nights and we've LOVED it. One of my best friends does rover too and he always invites me round when he's looking after dogs so we can go on walks together. I've walked big dogs (biggest was a greyhound) and wee ones on parks, round the neighbourhood and out and about in the hills. I live around really good walk spots: the canal, the river, kelvingrove, ruchill park, botanics. When the dogs stay for just the night I'll take them for a wee walk in the evening and then a big walk in the morning. I've also gone over to other people's flats to mind their pets for a bit, so I figured might as well sign up here! Xx At the moment, I get every Wednesday off and two weekends a month. As such, I can always take the pets the Tuesday evening or Wednesday for the full day. Same goes for the weekends, when I'm off I'll be able to look after your pets for the full day and take them on my walks I normally go on anyways. We've got wooden floors with rugs, and one of the rooms is carpeted. The pets are allowed in all the spaces (two bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge), and they've all got their own favourite place to hang. I live on the first floor of a tennements. We've got a fenced garden at the back, and the close also has a fenced area. It's me and my housemate in the flat, and for days in we'd both be looking after your pets. In the past I've taken dogs to Ruchill park, Kelvingrove, along the canal, the river and the botanics. Some dogs I'll let off lead if there's enough space (ie queens park) and if I know their recall is good. Though I normally err on the side of caution and keep them on lead unless I'm absolutely positive. For food I just follow whatever the owner tells me! We keep a waterbowl on the kitche floor permanently, and add the food when appropriate. I've gotten wee doggy muffins at a cafe before knowing the wee one could have it.
About: I've had dogs since childhood, a German Shepherd called Rebel and a Russell terrier called Spencer and I loved them both very dearly. I have great memories of them and hope to make more with your pets. I'm a part time football coach and with the season over for the summer, I have a lot more free time to look after your pets. I am currently at any time during the day for dog walking and pet sitting. Situated in the West End, I live close to the Botanic Gardens and Kelvingrove Park so there's no shortage of places to walk and play. I live in a flat with an enclosed communal garden which is ideal for over night pet sitting. The area is quiet meaning that more anxious dogs can properly relax.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine love for dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs (primarily spaniels) and have been actively involved in their care, training and exercise from a young age. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience with a variety of breeds, each with their own unique personalities and needs. I currently have a Bichon Frise named Dolly, so I understand the grooming, attention and affection that some breeds need a little extra of! I’m confident with both high energy dogs and more sensitive/senior pups, and I’m always attentive to the individual needs of each dog. Whether it's basic training for puppies, gentle care for older dogs or just giving your pet plenty of love and attention while you're away, I aim to provide a safe, happy and stress free experience for both you and your dog. I work part time from home, so your dog will rarely be left unsupervised. I'm available during both weekdays and weekends, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care, attention and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s for walks, playtime, feeding or just being a calming presence nearby, I’ll be there to make sure your dog feels safe and well cared for. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood with access to a large, shared fenced garden, perfect for supervised outdoor time and play in a secure environment. Inside, my home is dog friendly, clean and calm. My own dog, a very relaxed and friendly Bichon Frise, is great with other dogs and offers additional companionship for those who enjoy a buddy. I always supervise interactions, follow any specific care instructions you provide and aim to create a stress free, trustworthy space where your dog can feel right at home.
“Thank you for accommodating an extremely last-minute request. Hannah was wonderfully calm and welcoming and quickly put my mind at ease. The pups looked happy and well-looked after, they were even reluctant to leave when it was time to go home. I would not hesitate to recommend Hannah, and we will surely use her services again.”

East Dunbartonshire pet owners share their Rover experiences
We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Asia and cannot thank Mark enough for taking such good care of our dog Storm. We have never left her that long and we were nervous about it. She does not do well in kennels so we were eager to try keeping her in her own home with a sitter. Storm is a senior girl with some anxiety issues but Mark took the time to visit Storm and get to know her ahead of the booking. He is very patient, gentle and relaxed and we were very comfortable leaving her by the time we left on our trip. Mark was very thorough in learning all about Storm and getting to know her routine and needs. Nothing was too much trouble, Storm has a number of medications to be taken at different times of the day which Mark was more than happy to follow. He was willing to send us daily updates and photos but honestly, after the first few days we were so confident that our pup was happy that we didn’t need the daily update. Mark still checked in with us every few days which was lovely and reassuring. When we returned home, Storm was relaxed and happy which is a sure sign that she was well cared for since she had previously returned from kennels very upset and anxious. Mark and Storm have become firm friends and Storm is going to miss him. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Mark’s services again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a gentle, caring and loving professional sitter.

Erin watched Skye for the first time overnight after a meet and greet. Skye took to her immediately. Erin took great care of her. I also got lots of nice updates and it was clear from the photos that Skye was enjoying herself and there was nothing for me to worry about. Erin herself is absolutely lovely! I can’t wait for her to watch Skye again.

I'd highly recommend Will. We booked him for a week to stay with Bella. He communicated clearly and promptly, and visited twice to get to know Bella before the booking. He was punctual, friendly and kept us up to date with how Bella was doing. He even managed to take photos when she was in her most inaccessible hiding places! We came home to a happy and relaxed Bella. 10 out of 10

We had Andrea look after Finn for the first time, and he was really happy with her from the start. She kept us very well updated throughout, and it was so reassuring to see how content and comfortable he was. As a vet student, Andrea clearly has a great understanding of animals, and she took very good care of Finn with lots of cuddles and walks. We would highly recommend Andrea and happily book with her again. Thank you Andrea!

This was our first time having Clarrie look after Finn and she took wonderful care of him. We could see how happy he was with her from our first meeting and he had a fantastic time with lots of walks and fun. Clarrie kept us updated with great communication from start to finish, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away knowing he was in safe hands. We would highly recommend Clarrie and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, Clarrie!

Phoebe was so happy to see Sydney she was bouncing around and ran down stairs to meet her making happy noises . She was well looked after again and was well exercised with her ball which she loves . We got plenty pictures to ease our minds which showed us Phoebe was having such a good time without us . This is our third time using Sydney and are already looking to rebook for our nxt holiday . Would recommend Sydney to anyone needing a sitter and are happy to have her stay in our home to look after Phoebe in her own space makes it so much easier when we go away she’s not to upset about us leaving as she has her friend to come look after her

As this was our first time being away from Ollie for a weekend, we were so nervous leaving him. Fallon put our worries to ease and took such great care of our cheeky boy! We were so glad to see Ollie was having a great time from all the photo and video updates. We can’t thank Fallon enough! We will definitely book again :)

This is the third time Alys has looked after our home and our two dogs - Blondie and Clyde. As on the other occasions she was excellent. She really looked after our dogs well. The dogs absolutely love her. She sent regular photos and updates and she left our home in immaculate condition. We can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you for everything Alys.

Nina was absolutely brilliant with our westie Cassie! Cassie’s an older dog with some behavioural issues and Nina has the perfect calm demeanour and clearly has a lot of experience dealing with different dogs so was great for Cassie. Nina stayed in our house for 2 nights looking after Cassie and came by twice before to meet Cassie and learn her routine. During the booking she was very patient and persistent getting an often reluctant Cassie out on her walks and even sent us some pictures of a very happy Cassie with her toys. I’d highly recommend Nina and will definitely be booking her again for Cassie!

Gabrielle looked after our dog Ruby in our home while we were away for a week. Ruby was well looked after with lots of walks in the park and countryside. Our home was well looked after as well, with the home being left in great condition upon our arrival home. I would highly recommend Gabrielle to look after your pet/home with confidence and we would be happy to rebook her again.
