What can I say wow! Michèle was absolutely fantastic, Dolly and Doris were so well looked after, pampered and spoiled. Michèle sent daily updates with photos and videos of the dogs which kept us entertained daily and we could see they were settled with their new sitter! Michèle looked after our house which was immaculate upon our return. I would highly recommend Michèle to look after your dogs and her experience and knowledge of pooches and their behaviours is immense. They both learned new games to play too! Made our holiday relaxed and enjoyable knowing our dogs were having the best holiday ever with Michèle! Thank you so much ☺️

Tara was excellent, would recommend her pet sitting services. Very good and consistent communication throughout, and great dedication to making sure she met my pets' needs beforehand by arranging lots of meet and greets. My dog, Jasper, is nervous with new people but she was patient and calm with him which really helped with his comfort whilst I was away. She was also super respectful of my home, leaving it in a great condition after her stay!

About: I currently run my own Pet Care company - Tate's Pet Care - offering Cat Sitting and Dog Walking in Clackmannanshire and I am absolutely daft about animals. All pets are unique and I tailor my care to each animal individually and to your needs. If you are away I am more happy to spend additional time socialising and playing with your pets to make their time without you as normal and happy as can be. As a pet mum myself I like to give updates and photos so you have the reassurance your animal is being well looked after. I have had quite a few different species as pets of my own including currently three cats (including a young kitten) and a tortoise. I am currently working at a local cat charity and I previously worked in wildlife rehabilitation for over 5 years with a wide variety of animals from bats and mice, to eagles and seals. Alongside my masters in animal welfare this has given me a vast amount of experience in animal care and behaviour that I bring to my sitting services. I am happy to pet sit for all species and would ensure individualised care for all your animals whether cat, dog, rodent or reptile. Through my work I have had vet administered training on giving medications including oral, injectable and topical meds. One of my own cats, Tate, has an autoimmune condition which requires additional extra care and medication so I am comfortable with assisting with medication for your pets. I'm currently working part time in a cat rescue and I can be very flexible with my time to suit your needs. I would be excited to spend time with your pets before and after work, and on my days off! I work different shifts so I am available during the week and also at weekends too. All pets are individual so before pet sitting I would love to know more about your animals. I can come in once or twice a day to pet sit or walk your pups and would be happy to care of all of their daily needs. In addition I love spending time with animals so for the more social pets I would be excited to spend extra time playing or giving them a fuss, whatever they would be most happy with! If it would be beneficial I am also happy to water plants and open close curtains, and of course happy to provide updates of your pet's whilst you are away!

Sam was absolutely brilliant with Milly while we were away for a week. Milly enjoyed plentiful walks and generally was very settled and happy. Great communication from Sam at the time of making the booking, Sam visited us and then confirmed which was all very reassuring as this was our first time. Lovely wee updates while we’re away too. Thanks Sam!

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Ollie and our chickens. From the moment we met Rose, she was friendly, professional and respectful of our home. She took fantastic care of all the animals and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away at short notice. The regular photo and update messages were brilliant and really reassured us that everyone was happy and well looked after. It was clear that she genuinely cared about the animals and took the time to make sure their routines were maintained. We came home to happy pets and everything exactly as we left it. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you so much!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, I currently have 2 spaniels aged 11 and 7, who are great with other dogs and humans. I trained them as puppies to have perfect recal, be house trained and to do all the cute commands which is something I can certainly help your puppy with. I also love dogs of all ages and sizes and will give them all the cuddles, attention and walks they need. I am no stranger to administering medication and will strictly follow your rules on food and whether they are allowed on furniture etc. my favourite activities in life are walking and playing with dogs. I am currently working freelance which means I am able to work around your needs. I can start as early or work as late as needed to fit your work schedule or around your holidays to make sure your dogs are well taken care of. I have a fenced back garden with a gate into a lovely quiet wooded area, so when your dogs are boarding with me they will be able to have lots of great walks in the woods as well as plenty of time in the garden. The garden fence is fully secure so there is no chance of them escaping, I have watched a 3lb puppy previously who wasn’t even able to slip under the fence so you know it is secure.

About: Growing up in the countryside on a farm, I have never not had dogs, from working dogs to rescue dogs I have grown up with a range of fury siblings. My first job age 13 was in a kennel opposite my house where I returned to work each summer until I was 17, the kennel was also home to a greyhound rescue, and working with the dogs in the kennel helped me learn more about dog behaviour and gave me exposure to a range of breeds. Sadly my 3 family dogs have all passed from old age over the past two years and during that time I moved to Scotland. This has left such a big paw print shaped hole in my heart and I cherish any time I can have with dogs. More recently I have been joining my friend on her walks as a dog walker in Edinburgh which has inspired me to start dog walking & pet sitting myself locally to me. I’m currently working part time in a bar on the weekends so I have plenty of time throughout the week to look after your lovely pets! I can also be flexible with my work where needed which means I’m never stuck to a strict schedule. I have a fenced garden which is shared with two neighbouring dogs who love to play. I live near a park also which is perfect for dogs to run around and soak in all the smells.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, including walking, feeding and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, family, and neighbours trust me to keep their pets safe, happy, and well-exercised while they’re away. As a university student and professional athlete, I maintain a structured weekly routine around my university and swimming training. I have university classes 9am–2pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, swimming training 6–9:30on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 12–3:45pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I recently moved to Stirling from Aberdeen to undertake a masters in marketing, meaning my own Golden Retriever, Duke, is staying at home in Aberdeen with my family. I really miss having him around and the comfort, companionship and joy that comes from having a dog to care for and give lots of love and attention to. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to share that love and care with other people’s pets. Outside of my scheduled university and training hours, I am completely free and can dedicate my time to your pet. When pet sitting, I will be staying in the owner’s home and can provide your pet with my full attention, company and care for the majority of the day. This means your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, while still being able to stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their usual surroundings. I’m reliable, responsible and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’ll make sure your pets receive plenty of attention, walks and playtime while you’re away. I provide safe, fun walks in dog friendly areas. I always make sure dogs are on lead unless given permission and stay fully attentive to their safety and comfort. I treat every dog like my own, giving them care, patience and lots of love.

About: I’ve had my own cat, Michael, for over eight years, so I understand the responsibility and commitment that comes with caring for a pet. I also have experience caring for pets of different ages, personalities and needs, from energetic young pets to older animals who may need a little more patience and attention. I’m confident caring for young pets and reinforcing routines and basic training, while also providing calm, gentle care for senior pets. As an active and reliable person, I love making sure pets get plenty of exercise, play and mental stimulation, always adapting to their individual needs. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine closely and make sure they feel comfortable, safe and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently at university, working part-time and am also a competitive athlete, so I’m used to managing a busy but flexible schedule. My training and university commitments vary throughout the week, which allows me to be adaptable and work around the needs of each pet. I’m happy to arrange walks, drop-ins, feeding visits or pet sitting around your schedule wherever possible. I understand that every pet has a different routine, so I’m flexible and will always do my best to accommodate what works best for you and your pet. I’m responsible, reliable and respectful of your home and belongings. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away and won’t hesitate to get in touch if I’m unsure about anything. I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is in safe and caring hands.

About: Hi! I'm Irayna, and I'd love to help care for your pets when you can't be there. I share my home with Pepper, my miniature Dachshund, and I grew up with cats, so animals have always been a big part of my life. I've also recently welcomed friends' dogs into my home for week-long stays while they were away. It was lovely seeing them settle in alongside Pepper, and it gave me plenty of experience caring for dogs with different personalities and routines. Whether you're looking for someone to walk your dog, pop in for feeding and company, care for your cat, or stay in your home while you're away, I'll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and care. I'll always follow their normal routine, from feeding and walks to medication if needed, helping them feel as comfortable as possible. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care, so I'll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that's taking dogs out for walks, playing with them, or caring for cats in the comfort of their own home. I'm organised, reliable, and happy to work around your pet's usual routine, including feeding times, medication if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away. Every pet is different, so I always take the time to understand their routine, personality, and any specific needs before I begin caring for them. Whether I'm looking after your pet in your home or visiting for walks and drop-ins, I'll follow their usual schedule as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise or playtime, lots of attention, and, of course, plenty of fuss if they enjoy it! I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Clackmannanshire walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Clackmannanshire choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
