I have no hesitation in using Casey in the future and would happily recommend her services the family and friends .”

About: I was raised in a house full of different animals and for the last 20 years I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, gecko & horse. I have experience in looking after small to extra large dogs. I was a fosterer with Thistle Boxer Rescue for 3 years and became a trustee (lead rehomer) matching rescues with their forever family. This was the most rewarding experience ever! I have experience in challenging behaviours and believe in reward based training. My only ask is that any behavioural issues are disclosed before pick up/drop off such as wanting to eat my cat (1 eyed feline who thinks she runs the house) this decreases any risks and helps me to understand the dog better and provide better care. I also like to borrow my friends and family’s dogs just because I like the furry hugs. I like to make sure that all dogs feel loved. I have a variety of walking areas local to me and will work around the needs of the dogs. I am currently not working so will be able to fully focus on any dog that is in my care. Going for walks, playing with toys and snuggling on the couch if that’s what they want. I look after all animals in my care as my own, with love and with lots of fun. I treat others home and property with care and respect.

About: Hello! My name is Kathryn and I live in Dunfermline with my husband, senior cat and dog. I grew up always having animals in the home whether that was dogs or cats or fish! From an early age I started walking neighbours dogs with my own and watching them on weekends. As I got older I began doing long house sits for family friends and neighbours pets. 5 years ago we rescued our senior cat Louie. He has been such a joy to have in the home and being able to give him a cozy new life has been so rewarding. Due to him being FIV positive he is susceptible to illness so I have experience delivering medications and providing extra care. Last May we brought home our Boxer Fionn. He is a crazy boy who keeps us active and it has been such a joy to train him and watch him grow. I work from home a couple a days a week and am very flexible on evenings and weekends. I would be able to help out as much as I could. If your dog is needing some walking or some company I would love to help and if okay could bring my dog along for a run around. I would love for him to meet some other dogs and get used to walking with dogs around (if you’re comfortable with it). If it’s cats you’re needing looked after I would be more than happy to spend quality time with them, playing with toys, cuddling on the sofa or reading my book with them! I have a fenced in back garden that the dogs can play in. If watching in your home I would be sure to keep an eye on them and follow all instructions provided. I would make sure they are safe, fed, happy and well looked after.

“Charlene was an absolute star! 🌟 Could not of asked for anyone better to look after my fur baby. From start to finish she made me feel completely at ease with leaving Meg for the night. Already booked her next overnight, and Meg can’t wait to see her again! 🥰”

About: Hi! I’m Anastasiia, and animals have always been a very special part of my life. I grew up with my beloved dog, Timmy, who was part of our family for 14 wonderful years. Caring for him taught me patience, responsibility and how important it is for every pet to feel safe, loved and understood. I truly love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Since losing Timmy two years ago, I’ve really missed having a furry companion around, which inspired me to join Rover and care for other people’s wonderful pets. I’m currently completing my MSc dissertation, so I spend most of my time at home. This means your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, regular walks and lots of care throughout the day. I only host one family’s pet at a time to provide a calm, safe and loving environment. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. “This is the second time we had Franki stay at our house and she was great! Franki sent loads of photos and videos while we were away. She kept in touch and gave us peace of mind the whole time. Will definitely book Franki again! ”
“Lucy was fantastic! She took care of Maclary while we were away and sent regular photo updates that put our minds at ease. She followed our feeding schedule and instructions perfectly, and our puppy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we got home. Communication was easy and prompt throughout. We'd book with Lucy again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

“Hannah was absolutely wonderful with my Goldendoodle puppy, Bunny. She immediately put me at ease, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel very relaxed and reassuring. Hannah clearly understands dogs and was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive. Bunny was very happy, well cared for, and I could tell she received plenty of affection and attention throughout the day. I really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Hannah also took the time to work with Bunny’s training and routine, which meant a lot to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Hannah again and would very happily recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and genuinely caring sitter. Thank you again, Hannah 😊”

About: Every pet has a personality as unique as their paw print, and I know that first-hand. Hi, I’m Lou, an experienced dog walker and pet sitter who truly gets small breeds. I share my home with four beloved sighthounds: two whippets and two Italian greyhounds, so I’ve learned just how special, quirky, and wonderfully unique toy breeds and sighthounds are. Their tender hearts, playful spirits, and diva attitudes deserve care that’s patient, respectful, and joyful. Over the years I’ve also cared for other toy breeds, as well as growing up on a farm working and showing terriers and collies. I used to have cats of my own, and I often look after my friends’ pets too — so I’m comfortable with both tails and whiskers! What I bring to the table: 🐶 Personalized walks that honour breed needs — especially for toy breeds and sighthounds 🐱 Calm, affectionate care for cats — whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or litter routines 💖 A gentle, intuitive approach to nervous or quirky pets who prefer slow hellos 📸 Regular photo updates so you can see your pet smiling while you’re away 🛋️ A safe, relaxed human for stays or drop-in visits I know how hard it can be to trust someone with the ones you love. That’s why I focus on building a calm, fun, and dependable relationship with every animal in my care — so you’ll both feel happy and confident. Let’s give your pet care that feels like family 💕🐾 I work from home mon-fri so can take my lunch breaks when needed to walk or visit your fur babies. My partner also helps me when he’s not at work ☺️ In my home my dogs are always roaming the house we don’t have an enclosed garden so they only get out on the lead however in your home I’m happy to follow instructions weather it be to crate your pet, give them some love, play with, feed and water, take outside etc ☺️
“Fiona was brilliant! It’s the first time we have ever left our precious rescue pup but she took such great care of him and gave us daily updates and photos. He was so well looked after and our house was immaculate when we came home. Cannot recommend Fiona highly enough.”

“It was an absolute joy to have Sarah looking after our border collie Isla. She helped us out super last minute with house / dog sitting, moving in for 1 week and looking after our home and Isla beautifully! We had daily pupdates with plenty of photos, which gave us great peace of mind on holiday as we could see what a great time Isla was having with her. Isla is 15 and is on medication and a renal diet, but this didn’t faze Sarah at all. She cared for Isla incredibly well and when we returned, Isla was trying to leave the house with Sarah! Clearly not wanting to part with her. Sarah has a calm and capable energy which gives pet owners a great amount of confidence. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah and will definitely be booking her again ❤️ thank you Sarah! xx”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Kinross walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kinross choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
