I tailor my approach to each pet’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and cared for 😊 Despite working full-time, I can offer dog walks and dog visits during the week on days I work from home. If you need a dog walker during the day while you’re at work, give me a shout! When caring for pets at your home or my house, I ensure to follow any specific instructions provided. This includes feeding, walks, & most importantly playtime! If caring for pets at my own house, I have a garden space for the zoomies and toilet breaks! Also a comfortable space will be set up for them with their essentials like food, water, bedding and toys. Regular walks, playtime sessions and cuddles (if they enjoy them!) will be provided throughout the day. 😊

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child- walking, grooming, descalating a very difficult family dog, and finding deep joy in the companionship with them. I have also taken care of cats- both as my own pet and later on for friends. I love hiking and have a vehicle most days, and so I can take your dog for a walk that will ensure naptime later! HOUSE SITTING: I am currently doing relief work as a care assistant, with shifts between 4-6 hours in the local area. I am happy to speak to you about your specific pet's needs. If they are ok to be left for 4-6 hours, then I will pick up a couple shifts during my house sit. I will ensure that they are adequately walked, fed, and watered both before and after, with plenty of cuddles after my shifts. If they are not comfortable being left, then I am also happy to negotiate staying closer to home! DOG WALKING: I am currently picking up relief shifts as and when required, around house sitting and dog walking. I am quite flexible except for Wednesdays, Sunday mornings, and certain weekends. I will speak to you personally to understand how to meet your animal's needs in your specific enviroment. Do they run in the garden? Do they need a harness? Do they need regular grooming? I am happy to accommodate whatever the circumstances.

And our dog, now 10yrs and quite naturally anxious made us not very keen to try too hard for alternative arrangements. But we were in a situation whereby we really needed someone to look after our dog and landed on unbelievable luck, finding Abigael. She is kind, follows nuances of detail that come with an older dog used to his ways! Abigael put us at ease immediately (and our dog!) and we felt we could trust her right away too. From the very start, he took the time to meet us and our three dogs and one cat in advance, which made such a difference — especially as all of our pets have adoption or complicated health backgrounds and their own quirks and needs. They were walked so much — I’ve never seen my dogs look quite so relaxed and content when we got back. Coming home to a clean, well-looked-after space was the icing on the cake. About: Detached 4 bedroom new build house, in a quiet housing estate. No children. The garden is spacious and fenced. Outside the front of the house is a large open green space. At the rear of the house is a wildlife corridor (great for sniffs). The housing estate is surrounded by Dunnikier Woods and close to Dunnikier Park. I adore dogs. They are my passion in life and I feel it is a privilege to look after them and spend time with them. I work 9:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday as a primary school teacher in Kirkcaldy. I am flexible to work with and suit the needs of clients. I have a large four bedroom house with lots of space for pets. There are no children in the house, apart from the fur variety. I have two cats and a dog, who are all very friendly.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I previously owned two Labrador Retrievers, so I’m very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and their exercise and care needs. I’ve also cared for rabbits, giving me confidence with small-animal routines and gentle handling. I currently have a dog and a cat, so I’m used to managing different personalities and tailoring care to each pet’s individual needs. I always aim to provide calm, loving, and reliable care while keeping to your pet’s usual routine. I am currently a university student with a flexible timetable and am free most afternoons I also own a car so would be able to travel for work At University I live in a flat so it would probly wouldn’t be suitable for pets to stay at the flat however there is a large park right next to the flat for dogs to run around in

Naomi followed their routine and provided enrichment for them, she sent daily updates and photos. The dogs were calm and relaxed when we arrived home, always a good sign! And the house was spotless - we can highly recommend Naomi and will be booking her again before long!”

I am very active and can keep up with the most energetic puppies and playful cats but am also very patient by nature and find caring for elderly or slower animals just as rewarding. All animals are welcome. I have confidence in caring for anxious animals, administering most medications, and supporting training in younger animals who are still learning. As an independent designer I can work from anywhere at any time so can fit my days around what you and your pets need. I enjoy engaging with animals and take their lead on how much play and exercise time they like without needing to rush back to anything. In all things, the animals comfort comes first. When I am sitting or visiting in home, I prefer to match my schedule with whatever your pet is familiar with to make sure there is as little disruption for them as possible.

My dog, Jasper, is nervous with new people but she was patient and calm with him which really helped with his comfort whilst I was away. “Fiona was great! She was quick to get back to us when we were hoping to book. She came round for a cup of tea so she could meet the wee pooch and us. This was ideal as it allowed us a chance to get to know Fiona and exchange info about the dog/house. Whilst we were away, she kept in touch to let us know how everything was going. She very kindly bought cheese slices to disguise our dogs daily medication which we had completely forgotten to sort out or explain! In the photos Tilly looked to be having a lovey time cosied up when home with Fiona and she looked delighted when out adventuring on different walks. The house was in perfect condition when we got home- Fiona even stripped the bed! I would definitely recommend her; reliable, great with communication whilst keeping our pooch happy and healthy.”
