“Rhona was lovely and did a great job with our 2 dogs while we were away for a few days! She was very kind and very helpful, giving us plenty of updates and making sure dogs were happy. Thanks Rhona!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and was lucky enough to share 13 wonderful years with my Staffy, Kiera, and a few short but special months with our boy Alfie. Losing them both was heartbreaking but it taught me a lot about what dogs need at every stage of life, from the endless energy of puppyhood to the gentle care older dogs deserve. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your dog, so I treat every dog I look after like my own. I’m confident with strong breeds, experienced in senior care and happy handling medication, routines and all the quirks that make dogs who they are. I know what it means to have a dog be part of the family and I’ll make sure yours feels safe and loved while you’re away. I am self-employed and working from home so my schedule is extremely flexible to fit around looking after your pooch. I am more than happy to keep any routine your dog already has in place. Your dog’s comfort and safety come first. At home, your dog will be treated like one of the family. I am happy to keep rules consistent with yours so if your dog gets to lay on the sofa at home, then they get to lay on the sofa at their holiday home too. I stick closely to each dog’s usual routine so they settle quickly and I’m never far from sight or sound when they’re here. I live in the middle of a big park so there is lots of opportunities for fun walks (as frequent as your dog requires). If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I make sure doors and gates are secure, walks are safe and appropriate for their age and energy and cuddles are freely available for those who want them.
“Rachel was excellent with our dog and we could see immediately that they would get on. Rachel took him for a long walk, his favourite thing to do, and we came home to a tired and happy puppy. Will certainly try to use Rachel again”

About: I’ve been around and drawn to pets/animals for as long as I can remember. Especially when being younger, my granny had two Jack Russell’s Bracken & Jordie. I would take any opportunity I could to take care of them, whether or not that be walking them, feeding them, playing with them, or even just watching over them. My cousins have also always owned dogs and most of them being cocker spaniels, I’m used to their energy and high attention demand. I’ve never had any pets in my own family home as it doesn’t mix too well with some in the house. But I think that lack of a pet in my home has only grown my love for them. Whenever a friend or relative asks if I’m able to give a hand while they’re away on holiday or at work, I’m more than happy to help. Whether it be a dog or a cat, I’m pretty easy going with whatever the case is. My main line of work is being a seasonal park ranger, which entails me speaking to a large amount of the public using the outdoor space, usually with pets, so I have a lot of experience with new dogs and picking up on signs. As I previously mentioned before, I’m a seasonal park ranger for work and since it’s the off season my days are all mostly free’d up! Apart from a small break in the Christmas period from 24th - 4th Jan. I don’t take care of pets in my own home as it doesn’t mix with certain family members, but more than happy to sit at the owners residence during all hours. I’m happy to feed, walk, play, wash, and spend time with your pets, making sure they get the attention and care they need. On the other hand, if your pet is more of the type of animal that just needs some space and a caring eye watching to make sure they’re happy and comfortable, that’s a position I’m happy to fill as well.
“Hannah was absolutely wonderful with my Goldendoodle puppy, Bunny. She immediately put me at ease, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel very relaxed and reassuring. Hannah clearly understands dogs and was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive. Bunny was very happy, well cared for, and I could tell she received plenty of affection and attention throughout the day. I really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Hannah also took the time to work with Bunny’s training and routine, which meant a lot to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Hannah again and would very happily recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and genuinely caring sitter. Thank you again, Hannah 😊”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life—my mother was a dog breeder, so our home was always full of puppies! With 30 years of hands-on experience, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and breeds. I have experience with puppy training, daily exercise, and senior dog care, including administering medications when needed. What sets me apart is my lifelong passion for dogs and the ability to provide personalised, loving care—every dog in my care feels safe, happy, and loved. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent, reliable care for dogs and cats throughout the week. I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. Whether it’s a morning stroll, afternoon playtime, or evening cuddles, I make sure every dog gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I prioritise the safety, comfort, and well-being of every dog in my care. At my home, dogs enjoy a clean, secure, and dog-friendly environment with plenty of space to play and relax. When visiting a pet owner’s home, I follow all instructions carefully during feeding, medication, and routines thus ensuring continuity and comfort for your dog. I maintain open communication with owners, providing updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and loved.
About: Having had my own dogs for my whole life, I know the dediciation and care involved in properly looking after your dog. I have experience with lots of different breeds, ranging from yorkshire terriers to cocker spaniels to great danes. Ive cared for dogs all the way from puppyhood, actively helping in all sorts of training including house-training and recall, to senior years, where a calm and comforting environment is important, and administering medication frequently is required. I usually work on a part-time basis, having a two weeks on two weeks off schedule, so I have loads of free time to support yours dogs when you aren't available to, whether this is just checking in and giving them a walk, or house sitting. Throughout my time caring for dogs, I've gone from having no garden to a not-secure garden to a secure garden. I know the importance of having frequent fresh air and exercise, as well as many opportunities to relieve themselves. I think interacting and playing with dogs is great enrichment for them, as well as keeping each other company in quieter moments throughout the day. Depending on the dogs, I love to talk dogs on longer nature walks, but I have lots of experience walking them around busy roads. I also have experience walking dogs with no recall, or reactive dogs, and knowing when is a good time to hold them on a shorter lead.
“Excellent service from Justine, warm & friendly and just loved the dogs They both seemed to be very happy & content with her, lots of photos sent and regular updates so I was happy too ☺️ Will definitely be requesting Justine again!”

About: Hi! We’re Lily and Fabio, a dog-loving couple offering a calm, cosy home with plenty of attention for your pup. Lily works from home, so your dog will have lots of company throughout the day — no long periods left alone. Between us, we have plenty of experience caring for small dogs. Lily has regularly looked after her step-mum’s two Pomeranians, while Fabio grew up caring for a Chihuahua–Jack Russell cross, so we’re very comfortable with smaller breeds and their individual quirks! We live close to Glasgow Green and Alexandra Park, which means lovely lunchtime walks and plenty of fresh air. We also have an enclosed back garden that’s perfect for safe and easy toilet breaks. Our flat is on the top floor of a tenement, so very senior dogs or those with mobility issues may find the stairs challenging. For everyone else, we offer a relaxed, affectionate environment with lots of fuss, routine, and companionship. Your dog will be treated like part of the family with us 🐾 Pet care fits easily into our routine as Lily works from home full-time, meaning weekdays are no problem at all and your dog will have company throughout the day. Fabio is also around outside of his working hours, so your pup will benefit from even more attention and care. Your dog will enjoy regular walks, plenty of companionship, and care that’s naturally woven into our daily routine. Your dog’s comfort and safety are the top priority. Our home is calm, clean, and well-suited for small to medium dogs. We have an enclosed back garden for secure toilet breaks, and dogs are never left unsupervised outdoors. Inside, they’ll have plenty of space to relax, explore, and feel at home. Your instructions are followed closely to keep things consistent and stress-free for your pup. On walks, we stick to safe routes around Glasgow Green and Alexandra Park, and dogs are always kept on lead unless you’ve given clear permission and I’m confident they’re comfortable. Whether your dog is staying with us or being cared for in your home, you can expect regular updates, honesty, and attentive care. The goal is to make sure both you and your furry friend feel completely at ease.
“If we could give Christine 6 stars, we totally would! She was amazing with our dogs and her love for dogs is palpable. She is very thoughtful and respectful and though one of our boys is a bit shy and a bit unsure around new people, Christine was super patient and took her time to make him feel at ease. We came back to two very happy and well looked after boys and our house in pristine state. We cannot recommend Christine enough! Thank you xx”

About: Detached 4 bedroom new build house, in a quiet housing estate. No children. The garden is spacious and fenced. Outside the front of the house is a large open green space. At the rear of the house is a wildlife corridor (great for sniffs). The housing estate is surrounded by Dunnikier Woods and close to Dunnikier Park. I adore dogs. They are my passion in life and I feel it is a privilege to look after them and spend time with them. I work 9:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday as a primary school teacher in Kirkcaldy. I am flexible to work with and suit the needs of clients. I have a large four bedroom house with lots of space for pets. There are no children in the house, apart from the fur variety. I have two cats and a dog, who are all very friendly.
About: I've interacted with dogs all my life. I have always had a special connection with dogs. I have experience with dogs from weeks old all the way to the ripe old age of 16 years old. I have trained rescue dogs with aggression issues, including older dogs like Charlie, my departed Collie who I rescued when he was 10 years old. He went from aggressive on the lead to walking safely off the lead within 6 months. Boarding is preferred over house sitting. I am a live at home carer and will be attending University from September for my postgraduate studies. I am incredibly flexible and have plenty free time. This will change somewhat come September, but much of my studying will be done at home allowing for a flexibility. I live in the perfect place for dogs. I have a fenced garden and live 500 feet from Broughty Ferry's stunning waterfront which offers a variety of stunning walks to take pooch's on.
About: I have been taking care of dogs of my own or for neighbours and friends since a young age, which developed into a small clientele of dogs whom I would regularly care for throughout my university studies. I have experience caring for puppies (and can confidently assist or continue puppy training) all the way to elderly dogs and am happy administering medication (non-injection). I like to chat with the owners before taking on a pet sitting job to ensure I know exactly what kind of care you expect from me and, more importantly, how I can make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your furry friend. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Dundee so have full autonomy over my schedule and can be at home or take time off during weekday day times. I have availability over the weekends and evenings and can arrange my work to fit around longer sits if need be. I have an enclosed garden which will be useable by your pet only. I live very close to big open spaces so can take them for any length or duration of exercise they might require. I tend to ask owners the specifics of how they prefer me to care for their pet. For example, any feeding/toilet/sleeping schedules, sleeping arrangements and whether or not they should be allowed on furniture/on beds etc. In my opinion the environment I can provide for your pet is largely up to you.
About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.
About: I’m a lifelong animal owner with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds and temperaments, including Irish Wolfhound crosses, Border Collies, Miniature Dachshunds, and cats. I’ve also cared for chickens and small animals, so I’m comfortable managing different routines and environments. Having recently relocated from Australia, I’m excited to share the care and attention I’ve always given my own pets with yours. I work partly online, which means I’m home for much of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and structure. Whether your dog is a high-energy working breed needing long walks and mental stimulation, a puppy learning the ropes, or a senior who prefers a slower pace, I adapt to their individual needs. I’m confident with puppies and happy to reinforce basic training, boundaries, and positive routines. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions. Routine is extremely important to me. I aim to keep feeding, walking, playtime, and sleep schedules as close to normal as possible to ensure your pet feels secure and settled while you’re away. As a homeowner myself, I understand how valuable trust and reliability are. Your home and pets will be treated with the same care and respect I give my own. I work partly online, which means I can be home for much of the day and able to build pet care into my daily routine. Mornings and evenings are structured around feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. I plan my work flexibly to ensure pets receive consistent attention if needed, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I can be a home body or out and about for puppy chinos. Walking to the local Cafe after a run in the park is one of my favourite hobbies. I prioritise maintaining the pet’s established routine to minimise stress. Feeding times, walks, play sessions, and medication schedules are followed carefully. I respect the home as if it were my own, keeping it clean, secure, and tidy. I also provide regular photo and message updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, reinforcing basic training and positive habits, as well as administering oral medications for both dogs and cats.
