“Caitlin is such a lovely person and looks after our wee Lhasa Alfie so well. He has just come home from a 10 day stay and is happy and healthy and obviously very much enjoyed his wee holiday 😊 Caitlin kept us updated on how Alfie was and sent pics of him while we were on holiday which was great! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a home from home for their pup. Thanks again Caitlin, see you soon xx”

“This was the first time that we had left the dogs since before COVID lockdown, so we were more than a little apprehensive about going away without them. However, Gabriella was very welcoming and they quickly settled down with her and her lovely lab Ty. Gabriella couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and responded promptly to all of our messages. We would definitely leave our boys with her if we go away again.”

“I can absolutely recommend Hannah. She looked after our 2 spaniels whilst we were away skiing and from the moment I met Hannah I felt 100% confident and relaxed. Hannah is kind, competent, experienced with animals, a good communicator, professional and excellent in every aspect. The accommodation and location is amazing, your dog/s will be very happy. Perfect walks and cuddles and the right amount of reassuring photos were appreciated. On soul and conscience I can promise Hannah’s care will be the best. I’m definitely going to book in again asap as the whole package is a lucky find. Thank you so much Hannah. Best wishes Dr Angie Martin”

“Shuffle had a great holiday with Danielle and her family! They took such great care of him and were so responsive of his needs as a 5 month old pup. If we ever need dog-sitting again, Danielle would be our first choice. A safe and welcoming home for doggies. Thanks so much for everything!”

“Such lovely people, you can tell that they genuinely love what they do…Our pointer Puddle went to stay for a trial as he is a very anxious dog and has massive separation issues….Puddle loved the walks they went on and loved Grant and Angela but just wouldn’t settle down, he kept howling for us…We knew it might have been a problem, so thank you for giving it a go….I would recommend Grant and Angela 100%”

About: Growing up with dogs and now sharing my home with three of my own, caring for them is simply part of everyday life. Living on a working arable farm in the beautiful Perthshire countryside means dogs in my care* enjoy plenty of fresh air, enrichment and attention, whether that's an exciting countryside walk, a game in our fully fenced garden or simply relaxing indoors after a busy day. I understand that every dog is different. Some thrive on adventure and exercise, while others prefer a slower pace, extra reassurance or plenty of cuddles. I'm happy to adapt to your dog's individual routine, whether that's sticking to feeding schedules, administering oral medication, reinforcing basic training, or providing calm companionship for nervous or senior dogs. Reliability, communication and treating every dog as if they were my own are incredibly important to me. I'll always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well cared for while you're away. *Please note that my resident dogs are all unspayed females, so for everyone's safety I can only accept female dogs and neutered male dogs for daycare or boarding. However, I'm delighted to walk or visit dogs of any sex for drop-in visits and walks. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I work from home on a freelance marketing basis. This means I'm home throughout the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision and regular toilet breaks rather than leaving dogs for long periods. Living on a working arable farm also means we're outdoors several times a day, so walks, playtime and enrichment are simply part of everyday life. I can easily adapt to your dog's usual routine, whether they enjoy long countryside walks, shorter strolls, or prefer a slower pace. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare and boarding throughout the week and at weekends, offering flexible care to suit your dog's needs. Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priorities. We live on a working arable farm in the beautiful Perthshire countryside with a fully enclosed, secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and relax. Inside, dogs are treated as part of the family. They have access to a dedicated utility room where my own dogs sleep, and I can easily separate dogs using internal doors if anyone prefers their own space or needs quieter time. I always introduce dogs carefully and supervise interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. I'm happy to follow your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, medication, training cues and sleeping arrangements wherever possible. You'll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, settled and well cared for. As my three resident dogs are unspayed females, I can only accept female dogs and neutered male dogs for daycare and boarding. However, I'm very happy to provide walks and drop-in visits for all dogs.

From the very first meeting it was clear that she and Vegeta clicked instantly he doesn’t warm up to everyone that quickly, so that said a lot❤️ Lenka was incredibly understanding and attentive throughout the whole time. About: Brought up with cats, always had 2-5 cats, including mother with litter. Always lived in rural locations. Happy to clear dead mice, birds, blood, guts, etc Love petting cats, and equally respecting their independence if they’re not the cuddly type.
“Sean was a god send this weekend with my very young 10 week old pup! I had to work nightshift and circumstances changed suddenly so I had no one available to watch my boy. Sean was able to stay the whole night the first night to make sure my pup would settle, then did a late night drop in the second night. Was so helpful to have someone able to do awkward hours and communication was great. Definitely recommend”

About: I have always been an animal lover! I have just finished my HND animal care qualification and passed. I currently work in a boarding kennels and I am also volunteering a a local rescue shelter. I love spending time with these dogs, and walk them once a week. I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 4, and grew up learning how to care for them. I hope to use my qualification to be able to work with animals full time in the future. I’ve just finished my HND animal care qualification. I’m currently working part-time at a boarding kennels facility. On my days off I love to look after dogs! I have a fenced large garden with plenty space for running around. My own dog loves to play so if yours does too, they’re able to have fun together. Pets are part of the family, and are treated so accordingly in my house.

“Isla was absolutely lovely with our Golden Retriever, Rosie, this past week. She was on time and responded to communication promptly. We’d gladly have her look after Rosie again any time.”

About: My first experience of cats started when I was a toddler. I grew up with 2 cats called George and Emily. Since then, I have regularly helped out friends and family by dropping by and checking in on their cats. I will refresh their water and food as required by you. I can scoop out any litter trays and I will also spend some time with them, offering treats and cuddles, again if okay with you and your cat. I know some cats can be a bit unsure of strangers and that is okay, I am happy to give them space and wait until they trust me.

“Annie is a caring, respectful cat sitter she looked after my ragdoll for a few nights while myself and partner went on holiday she made sure he was fed, litter changed and spent time to play with him also. I would highly recommend Annie to anyone that needs their fur baby cared for☺️.”

About: I grew up around dogs, training and caring for them has always been a huge part of my life. I've cared for and owned various breeds, of all sizes, so I have a great understanding of different dogs and their behaviours. This helps me ensure they are happy, comfortable & getting what they need. I live in a one bedroom flat with my dachshund, Jasper, located coviently close to a park, and also have direct access to an enclosed garden from my flat. So we're in the perfect spot for dogs to have a long walk and play around the park, or if the weather doesn't allow then cuddles and games at home on the sofa. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to look after your dogs. I do dog walking, day care or dog sitting in my home, alongside my own little dog I have a fully enclosed garden so the dogs can play safely outdoors. When inside I will provide the care they need based on your recommendation. Happy to accommodate crates and administer oral medication, etc.

“Abby took to Megan straight away and had a really good time with her. Will definitely book again as Megan is very flexible and friendly :) I also live the little check in cards she sends me afterwards with lots of pics! Thanks again Megan”

About: Hi, I’m Katie! 💛 I’ve been dog-mad for as long as I can remember and have grown up with dogs all my life. Looking after them never feels like work to me – I genuinely love spending time with them and getting to know all their different personalities. Since starting on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for lots of lovely dogs, from bouncy puppies to older dogs who enjoy a quieter routine. Every dog is different, and that’s one of my favourite things about dog sitting. When I’m looking after your dog, they’ll get plenty of love, attention and company. I’ll follow their usual routine, make sure they get lots of walks and cuddles, and send regular photo updates so you can see what they’ve been getting up to while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone not only with your dog, but with your home too. I always treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. My aim is always for your dog to feel safe, happy and completely at home, and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re being well looked after. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! ❤️ As I have previously mentioned, I have just come back from living in Australia so i am very flexible and available 7 days a week. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their normal routines, give them plenty of love and attention, and always keep you updated with photos and messages. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy and cared for like part of my family.
About: I’ve had experience with all kinds of pets all my life and looked after family pets, neighbours pets and all sorts. I have grown up always having cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, ponies (I even had lizards at one point) 🐱🐶🐰🐹🐴🦎 I can’t do boarding due to my dog not being great with other dogs. I can house sit depending on if my boyfriend can watch her but this isn’t always possible - feel free to ask and I can let you know if this will be possible. I’m a nurse and work 3 times a week, so if I am off I am able to house sit, walk or do drop in visits. I try to update my availability regularly according to my shifts I know just how important our animals are to us and how trust is so important when it comes to who you give your pet to. I would only trust the best to care for mine, so rest assured that your fur baby would be in good hands with me and have a home away from home 🥰

“Took noodle to meet Lynh and noodle immediately took to her and was comfortable straight away (noodle is normally anxious around new people) noodle looked like she was having an amazing time and was well and truly tired out from all the fun by the time she got back,”

“Mac was absolutely done in. Had his dinner and not moved an inch. So a thanks to Hannah for looking after him at short notice. Would definitely recommend her and will use her again”

“Ali looked after my puppy Roy, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, he was kind, warm, gentle, and incredibly easy to communicate with. As a nervous puppy owner leaving Roy with someone new for the first time, I immediately felt reassured and comfortable thanks to Ali's calm and caring nature. His dog, Freya, was also lovely and very friendly, and it was clear that she and Roy got on really well. It was wonderful knowing Roy was in such good company and having a great time while I was away. Ali clearly cares deeply about the dogs he looks after, and I felt completely confident that Roy was being well cared for. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. Thank you, Ali!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and was lucky enough to share 13 wonderful years with my Staffy, Kiera, and a few short but special months with our boy Alfie. Losing them both was heartbreaking but it taught me a lot about what dogs need at every stage of life, from the endless energy of puppyhood to the gentle care older dogs deserve. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your dog, so I treat every dog I look after like my own. I’m confident with strong breeds, experienced in senior care and happy handling medication, routines and all the quirks that make dogs who they are. I know what it means to have a dog be part of the family and I’ll make sure yours feels safe and loved while you’re away. I am self-employed and working from home so my schedule is extremely flexible to fit around looking after your pooch. I am more than happy to keep any routine your dog already has in place. Your dog’s comfort and safety come first. At home, your dog will be treated like one of the family. I am happy to keep rules consistent with yours so if your dog gets to lay on the sofa at home, then they get to lay on the sofa at their holiday home too. I stick closely to each dog’s usual routine so they settle quickly and I’m never far from sight or sound when they’re here. I live in the middle of a big park so there is lots of opportunities for fun walks (as frequent as your dog requires). If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I make sure doors and gates are secure, walks are safe and appropriate for their age and energy and cuddles are freely available for those who want them.

“Katie was fantastic from start to finish. She was a wonderful communicator, responding to messages promptly and keeping me updated throughout the day, which gave me real peace of mind. I was especially grateful that Katie was able to step in at short notice to look after my Flat-Coated Retriever. She is friendly, professional and immediately put me at ease, so I felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care. It was lovely to see the updates from his beautiful countryside walk in the hills – exactly the sort of adventure I know he loves. Knowing he was so well looked after allowed me to focus on what I needed to do without worrying. When he came home he was calm, relaxed and slept soundly, which is always the sign of a happy dog who’s had a brilliant day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Katie again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy dog walker.”

We have a fully enclosed patio area where the dogs are secure and beautiful country walks on our door step. I currently work evenings only so i am home all day to be with your furry friends. My husband then comes home and i head off to work for a few hours so your dog will never be on their own if not comfortable. “As a first time client, Alison reassured me with her no nonsense approach and that she’d supply good and bad feedback. She also sent me updates and a photo throughout the day which was great. 23rd July is the first of a gradual exposure for Tillie and Alison to be comfortable by next July that Tillie can have an overnight stay whilst I attend my daughter’s wedding. Next time another dog may be present which is also enhancing Tillie’s experiences. Just taking things slowly. Can’t thank Alison enough for her kind, caring and understanding attitude to help make the outcome possible and for also allowing me a degree of freedom in case I have to be elsewhere on occasion , knowing that Tillie would be well looked after. Thank you.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 14 and am a responsible pet owner. I will ensure that all dogs I look after get plenty of exercise and the attention they deserve. I would be looking to take dogs on during my days off which are irregular. I have my own dog, a rough collie named Iroh, and I am hoping pet sitting will be a great way to socialise him more. I have a small fenced garden and a larger village park just across the road. Easy access to loads of paths for walking. Happy to cater to any sleeping arrangement.
“We had a lovely experience with Gabriella and her friendly lab, Tyson. She took very nice care of our 15 month Thor, regularly sent us pictures through the day. We would surely recommend and hopefully visit her again.”

“Rhona is absolutely amazing at what she does! From the very first walk, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time Rhona arrives — which says everything! She’s reliable, professional, and always goes the extra mile to make sure the dogs have the best time. I love getting updates and knowing my dog is not only safe but having so much fun. It’s such a relief to have someone I completely trust. I honestly couldn’t recommend Rhona more highly — she’s brilliant, and any dog would be lucky to have her! 🐾”

About: I am 24 years old, I just look young! I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. 10 years ago my family got a working cocker spaniel who was my best friend during my teenage years. In autumn 2024 I completed a dog first aid course. After moving into my own place I looked after a family friend's cockapoo for 6 weeks in 2025. I enjoyed this so much that I decided to buy my own dog, a young whippet. She is well socialised and loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. I'm doing an online masters in wildlife conservation part time so I can be with the dogs most of the time. I spend my days balancing my studies with hobbies including running, dog walking and nature photography. I have a 1 year old female whippet who loves to play with other dogs. She is crated overnight. I'm happy to go with your preference on crating or not crating your dog. I have access to a small enclosed shared garden and a big park only 1 minute from the house.
“Hannah responded quickly to my booking enquiry, was upfront about her availability, and was proactive and flexible in working out a recurring booking that worked for both of us. As my first time using Rover, Hannah was patient and understanding, helping me submit the correct booking details. Before the first booking, she offered to drop by and meet Lyle, which gave everyone the reassurance that Lyle would get along just fine. Finally, Hannah has provided great detail and fantastic photos of Lyle out on his walks on the Rover cards, I can see Lyle has had good variety in his walks and is thoroughly enjoying his time with Hannah and Simba. I'm delighted with how the first week has gone and I'm sure Lyle is looking forward to many more adventures.”

“Martina is great 😊 Fantastic communication, lots of pictures and Ziggy and Isla looked very happy on their walk. They were very settled at night, a sign of a great walk! I have already booked their next one! Thanks Martina”

“Sean took my baby girl Freya for a very very last minute walk. I messaged Sean rather late at night asking if he would take Freya for a walk, he replied with the hour and we organised for him to take Freya for a walk at 7am the next day. He arrived early and took Freya without hesitation. I’m always worried when someone new takes her as she’s a big German shepherd who can be reactive towards dogs. However Freya came back looking rather happy. 100% will be using again.”

About: Hi, I'm Rachel, a dog lover and artist based in central Perth. I'm offering my pet sitting services to good natured four legged friends in Perth and the surrounding area 😊 Past experience: My childhood dog was a Norfolk Terrier, who was great - but a classic terrier! We next got a Romanian rescue who had been in a kill shelter so was quite anxious. My family fostered a number of other Romanian rescues, so through these experiences and having one of our own, I am familiar with looking after those of a more nervous disposition, and the importance of building trust slowly. Having done lots of pet sitting throughout my life (including cats) and using Borrowmydoggy when I moved to Scotland, I later joined Rover to share my services more widely. I treat each pet as if they were my own and love building a genuine relationship with a dog over time and learning their quirks. I am able to follow care instructions, work with their usual routine to make them as comfortable as possible, and balance fun and play with firmness when needed. About me: I am approachable, trustworthy and reliable. I love spending time in nature; I am a landscape painter so the surrounding areas provide significant creative inspiration to me. I have a car and am located in central Perth, right by the river and the South Inch park, with lots of nice local walks nearby. I currently work full-time but I am able to be flexible on my office days (the more notice the better for this). I am particularly able to do short-term sits, such as a single day or day-night-day, but do feel free to put through any requests for longer and I'll see what I can accommodate! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, any queries just let me know 😊 I currently work full-time so if you require my services in the week it'd be good to know that your dog would be ok with me spending time sitting at my laptop (with cuddle breaks of course). I am generally 1 day per week in the office but I do have some flexibility in my schedule, particularly with a bit of notice. I am in a first-floor flat, no garden but very close to green space. My flat is clean and smoke-free. I live on my own, and pets are welcome on the sofa and bed if allowed!

“My dogs had a lovely little introductory walk with Amy. She was calm and kind to them and they warmed to her instantly. I am confident my dogs will be safe in Amy's hands on their next walk with her.”

“Although I didn't get the chance to meet Emma in person, she was great to work with. She was reliable and took good care of my dog, who came home happy after the walk. The whole experience was smooth, and I would happily book with her again.”

About: I provide loving, reliable care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience caring for puppies, so I’m confident with toilet training, reinforcing basic training, and sticking to their routines. I also have a very friendly, well-socialised resident dog who loves meeting and playing with other dogs, making your pet feel welcome if they enjoy canine company. Every pet is cared for according to their individual needs, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you have complete peace of mind. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I’m currently on maternity leave and home for most of the day. I already care for my own friendly dog, so feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship are all part of my everyday life. Being at home allows me to provide plenty of attention, stick to your pet’s usual routine, and make sure they receive lots of care, affection, and regular company throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide care exclusively in my own home, where they’ll be treated like part of the family. My home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. References are available on request for added peace of mind.
About: I have 10 years experience of caring for dogs of all ages from puppies to senior dogs. This includes giving medication orally and basic training as well. I am currently available for morning and early afternoon walks and drop ins. Local walks around your area would be 20 to 25 minutes at a time. A premium, longer walk for more active dogs can be discussed on an individual basis. For drop ins i will let your dog out in to your enclosed garden and provide company and play time for the length of the visit. If feeding etc is required please ensure food is clearly available and the required amount specified.
About: I’ve been around and drawn to pets/animals for as long as I can remember. Especially when being younger, my granny had two Jack Russell’s Bracken & Jordie. I would take any opportunity I could to take care of them, whether or not that be walking them, feeding them, playing with them, or even just watching over them. My cousins have also always owned dogs and most of them being cocker spaniels, I’m used to their energy and high attention demand. I’ve never had any pets in my own family home as it doesn’t mix too well with some in the house. But I think that lack of a pet in my home has only grown my love for them. Whenever a friend or relative asks if I’m able to give a hand while they’re away on holiday or at work, I’m more than happy to help. Whether it be a dog or a cat, I’m pretty easy going with whatever the case is. My main line of work is being a seasonal park ranger, which entails me speaking to a large amount of the public using the outdoor space, usually with pets, so I have a lot of experience with new dogs and picking up on signs. As I previously mentioned before, I’m a seasonal park ranger for work and since it’s the off season my days are all mostly free’d up! Apart from a small break in the Christmas period from 24th - 4th Jan. I don’t take care of pets in my own home as it doesn’t mix with certain family members, but more than happy to sit at the owners residence during all hours. I’m happy to feed, walk, play, wash, and spend time with your pets, making sure they get the attention and care they need. On the other hand, if your pet is more of the type of animal that just needs some space and a caring eye watching to make sure they’re happy and comfortable, that’s a position I’m happy to fill as well.

“Collected Poppy today after spending two nights with Lynh. Every day I got photos of their adventure walks and Poppy looked very happy and well cared for. Will definitely book with Lynh going forward 🥰 🐶 xx”

“Another brilliant sit from Charlene. This time Meg visited her at home for 2 nights. She sent lots of pictures and updates about how Meg was getting on, which made me feel completely reassured. Thank you so much! 🐾 🤎”

“Izzy had a great stay with Ruth and her family. Ruth sent me photos and videos which was lovely so I could enjoy watching her having fun and receiving love and cuddles 💕 Thank you, I know izzy will love her time with you in September 😃”

“Many thanks to Grant for looking after and caring for my senior lad (Balou). I could tell he had a great time as he was relaxed with Grant when I dropped him off and when I returned for him. ☺️ I would highly recommend Grant as a sitter and will be definitely be using this service again in the future.”

“I picked Bear up from Debbie’s and as usual he was excited to see me. He was in tip top condition and looked like he was enjoying life. Only thing that would have made it better was saying our goodbyes to Debbie. Thank you for having Bear. I would absolutely use Debbie’s services again if the family were not able as this time. ❤️”

“Rhiannon was very kind, thoughtful and kind towards Alfie. She asked lots of good questions about his care, and was obviously concerned to give him an enjoyable stay. She clearly succeeded- he came back relaxed and happy having had good long walks and a welcoming household to stay with. Thank you Rhiannon and family . :))))”
