About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, horses and donkeys. I have two terriers and a ragdoll cat of my own. I'm also a Registered Veterinary Nurse of 11 years, so have worked with a variety of animals. Currently I am between veterinary nursing jobs, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furbabies and give them all the attention they need. I am interviewing for new jobs so availability may change but will still give you furbabies all the attention during their stay or my visits. I have an enclosed patio garden or a shared garden which is fenced but not 100% dog proof but they will never be out there unsupervised, can take them out on a lead as well. I can put them in a crate if that's where they feel safest and would be preferred due to my cat. I have pet remedy plugged in to help with a calm environment. I am more than happy to send pictures or videos during their stay so you can see how they are getting on.

About: I am 29 years old, I work for Perth & Kinross Council as a Private Sector Officer, and I live in Scone, Perth. 🏡 I had a beautiful shihtzu called Spock, who we sadly lost in January, aged just 10. I currently volunteer twice a week for the Greyhound Trust Perth, providing physical care for ex racing greyhounds. I also have dog sitting hotel experience, predominately at Gleneagles hotel for guests. I am a true animal lover and have been for as long as I can remember, so much so that I became a vegetarian nearly 4 years ago. I have experience with dog sitting, caring for family and friends pets and am confident that I could happily care for yours! ❤️ I work from home 2 days a week, and 3 days in the office. I don’t have any children so I don’t need loads of notice, and can be fairly flexible and sporadic! I’m based in Perth (work wise too) and happy to travel whether that be throughout the day or in the evenings. I own a detached house with a very secure garden. My house is at the end of a dead end street and we have a gate, so it’s very quiet with limited traffic. I do not have any pets as I lost my dog in January and don’t feel ready to get a new one yet.

Inside, dogs are treated as part of the family. They have access to a dedicated utility room where my own dogs sleep, and I can easily separate dogs using internal doors if anyone prefers their own space or needs quieter time. I always introduce dogs carefully and supervise interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. I'm happy to follow your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, medication, training cues and sleeping arrangements wherever possible. You'll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, settled and well cared for. As my three resident dogs are unspayed females, I can only accept female dogs and neutered male dogs for daycare and boarding. However, I'm very happy to provide walks and drop-in visits for all dogs.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
