“Scout spent her holidays over 3 weeks with Barry. We had frequent updates with pictures and stories on what they were getting up to. I give Barry 5 stars as I could relax on my holiday as I knew she was getting a 5 star holiday herself.”

“Lennie had an amazing time with Harris, Maria and Molly. We were sent regular updates which included lots of photos. This was very reassuring. Lennie will be back again soon.”

“Daniela agreed to look after Jed at short notice. Despite having never met her, Jed warmed to Daniela almost right away. It was obvious from the regular photo updates that Jed was having a great time with lots of cuddles.”

About: We have a well cared for Cockapoo of 3 years and we think he's the best! I have had dogs since I was a child and it was important that my own child also had one to love and look after. We are now at the stage of wanting to look after other cute wee fluffballs - my daughters words LOL. We have a strong routine of dog walking and doggy care and would be happy to fit another dog into it. I have all of the school holidays off, so I'm always around during the day to walk, play and care for dogs. For the rest of the year, I work part-time and my husband works from home so there is always someone in the house. We usually walk our dog first thing in the morning, then again for a 'ball throw' mid-morning, another longer walk at the nearby country park mid-afternoon and a couple of smaller evening walks round the neighbourhood. Our dog always likes an indoor play in the evenings so we make sure we get down on the floor with him and his toys. Our medium sized fenced back garden is ideal for a morning run or to relax in the sun. We have green spaces to the back and right hand side of our garden so it's peaceful and both areas can be used for shorter walks. There is a dog next door and a couple a few doors down but there has never been any issues. Our dog isn't crated, he has the free run of the living room with throws over the couches. However, we'd be happy to crate your dog if requested. We don't allow our dog in the bedrooms, but he has free reign elsewhere. We have experience of caring for my parents elderly dog, Eddie. He was a huge part of my life from a puppy and so when they weren't able to look after him we took him in full time until he was sadly gone.
“Blue has just had his longest stay yet with someone other than family! He has loved his time with Ali and the gang. We now feel confident to have him looked after while we are away on holiday 💙”

“Such a fantastic doggy sitter. Mutton was super happy at Paulina's house and was really well looked after. Paulina had a lovely set up pf toys, treats and water bowl for Mutton. A home away from home. 10/10!! We'll definitely book again.”

“Very impressed with the service that they provided. My dog suffers with separation anxiety and this has been the longest period of time that he has been away from home. They handled him fantastically. I was worried that he would not settle well but my concerns were swiftly quashed. Hope provided regular updates and he returned one happy dog. If anyone needs their dog cared for whilst they are away I cannot recommend them enough and would not hesitate to use them again to look after Max. Thanks again”

“Kassandra is a dream to work with, she is professional, knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. Our dog loves staying with her, he rarely loves staying anywhere away from us so this is just incredible!”

“As always Nicola & Kayleigh looked after our anxious dog incredibly. He absolutely loves going & cries as soon as he gets to their street with excitement. He comes home knsckered (in a good way) and in a great mood. He is looking forward to his next stay & we are delighted to be able to go on holiday and know he is in excellent hands. Thank you x”

About: Hello! I’m Madeleine, I live semi rural, lots of great walks, enclosed garden and plenty sofas to snooze on. I have 3 children who are very used to dogs, boundary aware and know how to behave around animals. However, if your guy is not keen on kids I am not for you, sadly. Your dog will have a separate room if needed/ when required. Otherwise I have a very open household and they will be treated like a member of the family. I have experience with most breeds including not limited too: brachycephalic Breeds(I owned a bulldog) , doodles, labs, Xoloitzcuintli & bullmastiff. I have completed dog first aid and own a dog first aid kit. I mention this as I know with certain breeds and the hotter summer months approaching overheating is a real concern. Im equipped and knowledgeable! Training experience : My dog was a rescue from Japan. He had no socialisation and wasn't toilet trained when we got him. After a lot of work, he is a well rounded guy who is fully toilet trained. I like to think I'm pretty versed in basic and behavioural correction training. I had a professional trainer advise with my dog, It is an area I’m really interested in, working with positive reinforcement and trust building. I can help with toilet training, socialisation, recall, desired behaviour positive reinforcement etc I can’t work with, understandably, large breeds that don't like children. Open to small breeds that might have a slight affliction. Please message to discuss. If you are planning on a longer holiday, we will need to meet before. This will give both parties peace of mind. Potentially even an over night that I will do at a discounted rate. Even if it’s just one night I'm still always happy to meet up first! I will send you daily photos/ updates and happy to face time etc! I am a stay at home mum of 3 school aged children. After school drop off, my favourite thing to do is grab a coffee and go on a lovely (childfree) walk! I know tones of great walks and love finding new spots so no two walks are the same. Weekends and holidays my kids will be off school. We tend to go more child friendly places like lauriston Castle, Cammo and Cramond. I have my doggy first aid and kit! I am scripted and ready for things like: overheating (used to own a bulldog) anaphylactic reactions (I can administer injections) , kennel cough etc. We have a large fenced garden. Dog will sleep in our kitchen area/ utility if boarding. If its just a day visitor they will have the run of the downstairs.

About: We have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Our pet sitting includes daily walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection and attention. We understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so we take the time to follow instructions carefully and keep pets comfortable, calm, and happy while their owners are away. As a reliable pair, we work together to ensure pets receive consistent care, regular check-ins, and a safe, loving environment. Our goal is to give pet owners peace of mind and pets a familiar, stress-free experience in their own home. Our availability allows us to provide pets with plenty of care and supervision throughout the day. One of us works full time from home, meaning pets are never left alone for long periods and always have someone nearby for companionship, potty breaks, and playtime. In addition, we are fully available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, allowing for extra time, longer walks, and more hands-on attention. This setup ensures pets receive consistent care, regular routines, and lots of love and interaction every day. Pets staying in our home are treated as part of the family. We offer a calm, safe, and comfortable environment with plenty of space to relax and play. Our home includes a private, fully fenced garden, perfect for secure outdoor time, toilet breaks, and supervised play throughout the day. Inside, pets have plenty of room to roam, nap, and settle wherever they feel most comfortable. We follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. With constant supervision, lots of affection, and a relaxed home setting, pets can enjoy a stress-free stay while you’re away.

About: My partner Mark and I have both grown up surrounded by dogs and have always been hands on with their care, from walks and playtime to feeding and everyday routines. While we’re waiting for the right time to welcome a dog of our own, our home is a very dog loving one. We live in a clean, spacious family home with our two young children, who are gentle, calm and love being around dogs. We have a private garden and are surrounded by green space, perfect for relaxed walks and fresh air. We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and will care for them as one of the family, with plenty of attention, affection and a calm, comfortable environment. I work part time, and my partner and I both work from home while our children are in childcare, so there’s always someone around for walks, cuddles and plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re able to offer both weekday and weekend boarding, with a flexible, attentive approach to care. Our garden is safe and secure, and we’re happy for dogs to roam freely between our ground floor living spaces and the garden. We always take time to see where each dog feels happiest and set up a cosy, quiet spot they can retreat to and call their own.
“Babsie always has the best time Lenka and her lovely family. She always comes home so happy and content. Lenka always sends us pictures and videos of Babsie stay so we never have to worry about her. Repeat customer for the foreseeable. Best sitter we’ve ever had!!!”

“Thanks Lyndsay for taking care of Molly during our recent holiday. Lyndsay's communication was excellent before and during Molly's 'holiday' at her home. Thanks for the numerous photos of Molly during her stay as it made us feel she was being well cared for. We would certainly recommend Lyndsay to care for your pets as she is clearly a very animal loving person.”

About: I’ve been picking up waifs and strays since 2005. My dogs have always been unwanted mixed breed rescue pups. I’m so proud of how they all turned out. I love dogs in general and have dealt with dogs with trauma issues and reactiveness. Happy to adapt to individual dogs needs. I have experience with senior dogs too. As I have my own dogs, all sitting and boarding will be in my home. I have a secure garden. Your dog would become part of the pack whilst here. Walks and visits are also available. I am off work/in transition at the moment. Free most days, evenings and nights. My dogs are extremely well catered for and yours would be too if joining our pack. I have a secure garden and local park round the corner. Happy to offer longer adventure walks 1-2 hours if required. I can transport dogs as long as they are savvy enough in the front seat of my van. Again, happy to listen to owners and adapt to individual dogs needs.

About: Having grown up with Dogs I know what a huge part of family life they are & it is important that they are treated like part of the family too. Our little girl Lottie means the world to us and has us wrapped around her little paw! As customers of Rover for a few years we truly value the service provided and now want to offer a loving ‘home from home’ for your pet too. My husband Ken & I are early retirees, very active and have plenty of time to dedicate to your beloved pooch, providing lots of walks & cuddles too. We are really lucky to have some wonderful walking spots locally & we occasionally take a trip to the beach, which our girl loves. Happy to work around your pets needs, as we appreciate one size doesn’t fit all! Having taken early retirement we have plenty of time to spend with your pet. We have a good routine for Lottie & would be happy for her to have a friend join us in our home & on our walks. We have a house with a fenced garden & our pets have access to all rooms, although occasionally we shut the stair gate between the kitchen & utility room to give our cats some space. The dogs sleep in the Living Room either in their own bed or on one of the chairs/couches and are allowed upstairs in the morning for a cuddle 😍. We do have grandchildren who pop in now & then and they too are dog lovers as they have their own dog. We take the dogs out for a short ‘comfort break’ morning & evening plus 2 walks a day, but can tailor this to suit your dogs needs.

Barry and his wife are absolutely amazing. They took exceptional care of my boy Loki this week. Barry sent me lots of updates, reassuring me that Loki was having the time of his life including pupcups and a trip to the pub! 😁 I have rebooked Barry for October and I know 100% that Loki will be well looked after and treated like one of their own. Loki has come home a happy boy. Would give 10 ⭐ rating if I could. I would highly recommend.

I could not have asked for better dog sitters for our amazing boy. They were sure to update us each day on how he was getting on, including great photos. We could easily see that he had settled in really well and they cared for him as if he was their own. I don’t think he wanted to come home! 😂

Our dog Tilly is a little timid and can be nervous around new people and new dogs. After reading the reviews for Lynn we felt she would be perfect for Tilly. We took Tilly to meet Lynn and could tell straight away that Lynn loves dogs. She is very calm and let Tilly do her own thing. She let Tilly come to her in her own time and didn't force it. We weren't sure how Tilly would be staying with another dog, but Mia is a lovely dog. She is very calm and obviously happy to share her home with another dog. Lynn sent regular updates and photos of Tilly on her walks with her new friends. Lynn was very accommodating especially when our flight home was delayed. When I picked Tilly up she met me at the door with her usual wagging tail, happy to see me, but as if I'd only just come home from work and not been away for 5 days. When she came home she was very calm and relaxed and not in a "huff" for being left. We are so happy with Lynn, we have booked Tilly in again.

Charlie was looked after for the 1st time by Kathryn . I was given regular updates and also sent regular photos which gave us reassurance . We had met up with Kathryn on 2 occasions with charlie prior to her looking after him which also made us feel reassured that he would be well cared for . I highly recommend Kathryn and would not hesitate to rebook

Thank you so much Zuzanna and Diego for taking such great care of Cara for the last 17 days. It can be daunting leaving your dog for so long but I honestly had no concerns as knew she’d be well taken care of, and even spoiled at times like the trip to the beach. I was really grateful for all your regular updates and photos as nice to hear that Cara was settled and having a ball. As soon as I’m planning my next holiday I’ll be in touch as would love for you both to take care of Cara again. I’ll also recommend you to friends as it’s truly obvious you care deeply for dogs and would take great care of them. Thank you so much again! Nicola and Cara

Joshua was fantastic! I needed a boarder sort of last minute and he was quick to respond that he was available, arranged a meet-up beforehand to make sure my dog got on with his dog, apparently they were the best of friends by the time i came to pick her up! Joshua was also flexible when my pickup time was delayed due to issues on the road, Isla definitely had a great time and though i'm not away often, whenever i am i will be checking if Joshua is available first :)
