Harris, Maria and their dog Molly was absolutely wonderful with our dog Geko! Communication was great from the start to the end. We had a meet up prior to our dog stay, which went seamlessly. Harris and Maria are very dedicated, professional and above all, they really love dogs! We received wonderful photos and detailed updates of all his adventures. Geko looked extremely happy in all the photos and not missing home at all :) We are very happy that we find Harris and Maria to look after Geko while we were away and 100% definitely will book again when need it.

I can not thank Barry enough for looking after my German Shepherd over the weekend for me. It was my first time leaving him and he made me feel so at ease. He sent lots of pictures and messages while I was away and Mase definitely had the best time. I will definitely be getting him to look after Mase in the future.

Very impressed with the service that they provided. My dog suffers with separation anxiety and this has been the longest period of time that he has been away from home. They handled him fantastically. I was worried that he would not settle well but my concerns were swiftly quashed. Hope provided regular updates and he returned one happy dog. If anyone needs their dog cared for whilst they are away I cannot recommend them enough and would not hesitate to use them again to look after Max. Thanks again

About: I have looked after / owned dogs for almost 20 years. We lost our beloved dog Holly in 2023 after adopting her as a young dog and we really miss time with her and walking. However, due to having two small children, owning another dog at this time is not possible. I have helped friends over the last two years and have also been contacted through them by other people to look after their dogs for holidays. I can help out Monday and Fridays during the day and weekends/holidays also. I currently have two fairly regular dogs that I look after and this is working really well for us. Please get in touch and we can see if we're able to help out with walks/holidays/overnights. I work part time (Tues/wed/thurs) so am available the other 4 days to help with walks/sitting/boarding. If I have a dog in then I am home mostly. Dog wouldn’t be left for long periods just for school drop off etc. I have a large enclosed back garden and live near a large park which is great for dogs. Also happy to take dogs in the car for trips / walks further afield. Dogs are allowed on the sofa and upstairs. Generally not on the bed during the night.

Spot was treated like a member of the family and enjoyed having doggie play mates for the 2.5 weeks. Although excited to see us, he has been moping around since he came home as he had such a good time. I would not hesitate to recommend Summer to anyone looking for an excellent dog boarder.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my puppy! She’s one of the most caring and thoughtful sitters I’ve come across. While I was away, she kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind—especially since my puppy is still so young. It was clear she truly cared and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable sitter.

About: I have had large breed rescue dogs my whole life, specifically German Shepards and Shepard crossbreeds. I do not currently have any dogs of my own due to work commitments so would love to spend time with other furry friends. Having studied biology at uni, I am a lover of all animals and have had previous experience at a public farm caring for farm animals and small animals such as rabbits, Guinea pigs and ferrets. I have also kept fish tanks from a young age, caring for a variety of both tropical and cold water species. Therefore, I would be happy to care for any other pets you may have. I also have had previous experience caring for a multi-pet household of 6 cats and 2 dogs. I am currently working in antibiotic research during weekdays so I am looking to get my animal fix mostly on weekends but could also do evenings from 6pm if required. Having had rescue dogs I understand the importance of patience and catering to the individual dogs needs both in the home as well as out on walks.

We met Kassandra and her very well behaved German Shepherd a few days before Buster was due to stay with Kassandra, to make sure he got along well with her dog. She asked a lot of questions to make sure she could look after Buster as well as possible, and answered all our questions very satisfactorily. I was also very impressed by how well Buster took to her when we met, as he is often quite wary of new people. So I was very comfortable to leave Buster with her for a few nights. She kept us updated about all his walks and how he was eating (he can sometimes go off his food a bit in new places), and even sent us some very nice pictures of him enjoying himself with his new friends Keira and Mr Poe (his first cat!). When I went to pick Buster up, he was clearly very happy. Overall I was very pleased with how Kassandra looked after my dog, and she will definitely be my first call if I need Buster looked after again in future.

My home have a 4 months old kitten at the moment. If small animals is still not a matter. As we have a specific room for them. I also love it to be tidy and clean. Ellie was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From our very first messages on Rover, she was kind, accommodating and incredibly understanding of Panda’s needs. Panda is a very fearful rescue dog with a complex background, so finding someone who truly understands anxious dogs is not easy. During the meet and greet, Ellie immediately respected Panda’s need for space and let her set the pace. She has such a calm, gentle energy that Panda picked up on straight away. To my surprise, Panda chose to interact with Ellie very soon, something that rarely happens. Normally she needs much longer to build trust, but with Ellie she felt safe from the very beginning. That speaks volumes about Ellie’s patience, empathy and natural understanding of animal behaviour. Throughout the visits, Ellie followed Panda’s routine perfectly, gave her the time she needed, and made the whole experience completely stress-free for both of us. Knowing Panda was with someone who genuinely cared and understood her allowed me to relax while I was away. I couldn’t recommend Ellie more highly. Whether your pet is confident or has additional behavioural or emotional needs, Ellie has the patience, compassion and knowledge to make them feel safe. She is an exceptional dog sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking her again. Thank you, Ellie! ❤️🐾

This is the first time we have used a drop-in service to look after our cat, Bella, and we would absolutely contact Leah again if we ever needed a cat sitter in the future. Leah was friendly, responsive and attentive whenever we messaged, and we really appreciated the updates and photos after each visit. Bella can be quite wary of people she doesn't know, so we were delighted to see that she did venture down the stairs on one occasion and allowed Leah to pet her, which speaks volumes about how safe Bella must have felt with Leah.

About: I’m thrilled to offer help with your furry babies whenever you need it🫶🏻 I’m happy owner of sweet English bullterrier girl, so I understand how important it is to find safe and reliable place for your pet while you’re away. I’ve been raising cats and dogs since I was a little. All the strays found temporary or permanent homes with me. I’ve grown up in the countryside so helping with animals is my second nature. I’m currently studying so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m available mostly between 9-12 , 12:30-2:30pm and 3:30-8pm during the week. I spend every available time with my own furry baby, so there is a lot of walks and playtime in the garden during the day. I have fenced garden and the dog of my own which is really friendly with other animals. I can easily create peaceful and quiet environment for your pet.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and spent my childhood helping in my family’s boarding kennels, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. We have a spacious, secure garden where visiting dogs can play and relax, and I’m home full‑time so there’s always someone around. Our two dogs -Ralph, our gentle 11‑year‑old Jack Russell who spends the day sleeping by the fire, and Betsy our playful 1‑year‑old Beagle - love the company. Our daughters (5 and 8) adore animals too and keep the dogs entertained with games, cuddles, and the occasional sneaky treat. We live close to beautiful woodlands and reservoirs, so daily walks are part of our routine, your dog will always have company, comfort, and plenty of fun. I can be very flexible around your needs and scheduled. I also drive so can offer pick up/drop offs, a few days notice usually required. In my home, dogs enjoy constant company, a secure garden to explore, and a calm, family‑friendly atmosphere. I keep each pet’s usual routine at the heart of their stay; feeding times, walks, play, and quiet moments so they feel settled and safe from day one. We head out on daily woodland or reservoir walks & there is always someone at home to offer reassurance, attention, and plenty of affection.

About: I have been around/taken care of pets (both cats and dogs) majority of my life. I have trained 3 dogs myself as house pets from their puppy stages, 2 of which are dachshunds we currently have, although one now stays with my husbands parents 10 minutes up the road. I am currently in-between employment, leaving a full work from home position, therefor I am home nearly 24/7 at the moment and would be able to give pets constant care and watch. I will be leaving the house roughly 2-3 times a week in the morning to attend the gym and here and there for shop runs etc, so dogs would be left at home with my pet also for roughly 1 hour or so at a time. I live in a home with a fenced garden that my own pets get to roam around freely. Pets are allowed in any room of the house and on the couch. Come nighttime, our pets have their own room they sleep in, however more often than not they choose to sleep on the couch downstairs so your pet would not be sleeping alone. However, if preferred I am happy to crate your pets if this is what they are more comfortable with.

About: I grew up with dogs and love to care for them. I understand work sometimes get in the way or you may need some vacation time where you need someone who will offer genuine care for your beloved pet. Message me and we can discuss what you need! I work at sea, which means I have plenty of time off when I’m back home. During that time, I’d love to help care for your pet—whether that means long walks for active breeds or cozy snuggles for more laid-back companions. I'm flexible and happy to match your pet’s energy! I have a female mini dachshund who loves the company of other humans and animals. My home is fenced so your pet can walk in and out whenever they please. You are welcome to bring their favourite treats/food, especially if they have special dietary requirements.

Lizzie was great with our rescue dog Scooby. We were nervous to leave him as he sometimes can be hard work but Lizzie handled him perfectly and even said he didn’t bark at all! Which was news to us! She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the day. Will definitely be booking Lizzie again! :)

About: My partner Mark and I have both grown up surrounded by dogs and have always been hands on with their care, from walks and playtime to feeding and everyday routines. While we’re waiting for the right time to welcome a dog of our own, our home is a very dog loving one. We live in a clean, spacious family home with our two young children, who are gentle, calm and love being around dogs. We have a private garden and are surrounded by green space, perfect for relaxed walks and fresh air. We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and will care for them as one of the family, with plenty of attention, affection and a calm, comfortable environment. I work part time, and my partner and I both work from home while our children are in childcare, so there’s always someone around for walks, cuddles and plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re able to offer both weekday and weekend boarding, with a flexible, attentive approach to care. Our garden is safe and secure, and we’re happy for dogs to roam freely between our ground floor living spaces and the garden. We always take time to see where each dog feels happiest and set up a cosy, quiet spot they can retreat to and call their own.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life — they’re more than pets, they’re family. My two boys were raised with two wonderful Labradors, and we’ve built our home around love, care, and dog-friendly routines. Whether you're heading to work or off on holiday, I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own. We’re a dog-loving household with a secure fenced garden and plenty of space to play and rest. My young children adore dogs and are used to being around them every day. Although we recently had to say goodbye to our own dogs (a heartbreaking moment), we now enjoy welcoming other furry companions into our home. I offer both in-home care and dog walking, depending on what suits your dog best. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily life. As someone who has always had dogs, I’ve built my routine around caring for animals — from early morning walks to evening cuddle time. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means I can provide consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s a morning walk, meal times, play sessions in the garden, or quiet rest indoors, I make sure each dog in my care feels safe, loved, and part of the family. My children, who were raised with dogs, also enjoy having them around and help create a friendly, stimulating environment for our furry guests. Every day is planned with your pet’s needs in mind, and weekends often include longer walks or outings to dog-friendly spots. Caring for dogs isn’t a task — it’s something we genuinely enjoy and feel privileged to do. We’re a dog-loving household with a secure fenced garden and plenty of space to play and rest. My young children adore dogs and are used to being around them every day. Although we recently had to say goodbye to our own dogs (a heartbreaking moment), we now enjoy welcoming other furry companions into our home.

About: I live on a smallholding with plenty of open field space, so dogs staying with me will have lots of safe room to run, explore and burn off energy. I grew up surrounded by animals and previously worked as a shepherd, so caring for animals is a huge part of my daily life and something I’m very confident with. We currently have four friendly dogs of our own — two Labradors who are working gun dogs, plus a Jack Russell and a Dachshund — so I’m very used to managing multiple dogs, different personalities, and structured routines. All of our dogs are well socialised and used to being around other dogs. I love spending time outdoors and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and a safe, caring environment while they’re with me. I work from home so I’m around all day. Dogs are constantly in and out the house with me checking livestock and going on long walks in the woods and secure field. There’s also a stream for water lovers! We’ve got a secure field available along with a secluded woodland walk. We have no neighbours and are not on the main road. We also have spare crates available if needed.

About: Hi, I'm Emma, a genuine animal lover who has grown up around cats my entire life and has previous experience owning and caring for dogs. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets. I have experience with feeding, grooming, cleaning litter trays, administering medication, and understanding the individual personalities and needs of cats and dogs. I previously owned a dog who suffered from seizures and required daily medication throughout her life, so I am comfortable and experienced when it comes to administering tablets and caring for pets with additional health needs. I understand the importance of sticking to routines and ensuring pets receive the care and attention they need. I am patient, reliable, and attentive, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, your cat needs company while you're away, or your pet simply needs someone to provide care and reassurance, I am happy to help. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their routines, preferences, and any special requirements they may have. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work part-time at a private school during the early mornings, which means I am available for pet care throughout the day. At present, I am available from 9:00am to 12:00pm on weekdays for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. From August, when my son starts school, my availability will increase to 9:00am–2:30pm on weekdays, allowing me to offer longer visits and greater flexibility. I always aim to be reliable, punctual, and accommodating, and I will do my best to work around your pet's routine and needs. Your pet's safety, comfort and wellbeing will always be my priority. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and ensure they feel comfortable while you're away. I have lifelong experience caring for cats and experience caring for dogs, including administering medication when required. During visits I will provide fresh food and water, clean litter trays, give plenty of attention and playtime, and ensure your pet is happy and secure. About: I have had pets my whole life, including dogs of varying sizes and cats, so I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. About: Hello! I’m Madeleine, I live semi rural, lots of great walks, enclosed garden and plenty sofas to snooze on. I have 3 children who are very used to dogs, boundary aware and know how to behave around animals. However, if your guy is not keen on kids I am not for you, sadly. Your dog will have a separate room if needed/ when required. Otherwise I have a very open household and they will be treated like a member of the family. I have experience with most breeds including not limited too: brachycephalic Breeds(I owned a bulldog) , doodles, labs, Xoloitzcuintli & bullmastiff. I have completed dog first aid and own a dog first aid kit. I mention this as I know with certain breeds and the hotter summer months approaching overheating is a real concern. Im equipped and knowledgeable! Training experience : My dog was a rescue from Japan. He had no socialisation and wasn't toilet trained when we got him. After a lot of work, he is a well rounded guy who is fully toilet trained. I like to think I'm pretty versed in basic and behavioural correction training. I had a professional trainer advise with my dog, It is an area I’m really interested in, working with positive reinforcement and trust building. I can help with toilet training, socialisation, recall, desired behaviour positive reinforcement etc I can’t work with, understandably, large breeds that don't like children. If you are planning on a longer holiday, we will need to meet before. This will give both parties peace of mind. Potentially even an over night that I will do at a discounted rate. Even if it’s just one night I'm still always happy to meet up first! I will send you daily photos/ updates and happy to face time etc! I am a stay at home mum of 3 school aged children. After school drop off, my favourite thing to do is grab a coffee and go on a lovely (childfree) walk! I know tones of great walks and love finding new spots so no two walks are the same. Weekends and holidays my kids will be off school. We tend to go more child friendly places like lauriston Castle, Cammo and Cramond. I have my doggy first aid and kit! I am scripted and ready for things like: overheating (used to own a bulldog) anaphylactic reactions (I can administer injections) , kennel cough etc. We have a large fenced garden. Dog will sleep in our kitchen area/ utility if boarding. If its just a day visitor they will have the run of the downstairs.

We left our collie with Lizzie for 1 overnight stay. She is lovely, easy going & responds to messages quickly. Archie was well looked after & we received lots of photos during his stay. Would highly recommend her & we will certainly be rebooking.

Summer was absolutely fantastic with Spot. He was looked after so well and loved staying with Summer. Spot was treated like a member of the family and enjoyed having doggie play mates for the 2.5 weeks. Although excited to see us, he has been moping around since he came home as he had such a good time. I would not hesitate to recommend Summer to anyone looking for an excellent dog boarder.

Daisy is so excited when she recognises the place. She didn't want to leave to come back to mine. She is enjoying so much the garden, treats, the sofa, walks and belly rubs. I know she is well looked after at Nicola and Kayleigh' and they are very trustworthy.

I can’t recommend Rhona highly enough! She took exceptional care of Mindy, and it was brilliant that Mindy got to spend time with another Border Collie, Lottie. Receiving so many lovely pictures while we were away was fantastic. Rhona is a wonderful, trustworthy sitter who we will definitely use again. A+

About: I have had family dogs since childhood and now have my gorgeous 5-year old black labrador, Spencer. I'm therefore very experienced with training and caring for dogs of all ages and varying breeds. I have a lovely 10-year old son who has also grown up around dogs and loves their company as much as I do. I am delighted to be able to offer a welcoming and comfortable environment, and true home-from-home. Living close to the Water of Leith and the Pentland hills allows me to offer extra special dog walks and adventures! I work full-time, but have the flexibility to work from home as required. At the weekend, I am generally around all the time and make the most of the amazing hill and woodland walks that our local area has to offer. Being a water baby, Spencer is particularly fond of those which involve a quick dip or a swim! I have a very large enclosed back garden for roaming and general play. A stair gate keeps little paws from getting upstairs, however two very comfortable sofas make great lounging/sleeping spots!

Kerry is fabulous. My two rather barky furries stayed with her for 3 nights and I could tell as soon as I arrived to pick them up that they were so settled. My little guy loves all the toys she has out for them. They had a ball and Kerry is great with them. My girl is super anxious but she was so relaxed and happy, it put my mind at rest. Will defo be booking again if she’ll have them ha ha

Wally had the best time staying with Kathryn, and sky really brought him out of his shell. He learnt how to play and I’m certain he didn’t want the weekend to end! Kathryn was really kind with lots of updates and pictures throughout and kept me informed of everything. She was absolutely brilliant, cannot recommend enough, thank you!!!! 🤍🐶
