About: Ran a home care for dogs successfully for a few years before moving to Scotland. Both dogs and pet parents loved me and they called me the dog whisperer .I grew up with dogs and chickens since I was a child. I teach singing and phonics online.. I live with my husband who works from home. Our days are relaxed and our Labrador retriever is our baby. Chula is the friendliest girl you’ll ever meet, she gets on with all dogs and loves having friends around to play and keep her company. I work from home most days, my partner Alex works from home some days also. I go out with Chula in the morning, at lunch and in the evening and during the day she chills wherever she wants during the day. We have a big enclosed garden that she enjoys also. I have a fenced garden and a loving female doggy who can keep your fur baby company. I have a flexible job and can attend to the dogs needs at any time of day. We also enjoy regular walks. “Hamish was very excited when we drove up to Sarah’s, jumped out of the car and ran in. Sarah sent me photographs a wee while later. He was settled nicely. He’d been unsettled during the night, unfortunately for Sarah. But he was fine when I collected him. He sat on my knee and slept when we got home. 24 hrs later and he’s definitely back to normal. He’s 7 and in all that time he’s only had 1 night away from family, but Sarah looked after him really well. He’s looking forward to another visit in the future, hopefully. Thank you, Sarah”

About: I’ve had pets of my own in the past, from hamsters to Scottish Deerhounds. I have a level 2 in animal care I completed online when I was going down route of vetinary nurse but choose lift engineering instead, so I am a strong & can handle large breeds. I Frequently dog sit at family and friends homes for their animals! Walk my neighbours dogs and I’m just that girl that has to stop and clap your pet! Missing having the love and able to care for one of my own so here I am. I work full time mon - fri. Finish 2pm Fridays and off weekends. I can do drop ins / or walks on most evenings during week and house / pet sitting on weekends I’m free / board options also. I have a comfy and secure home. About: I have had large breed rescue dogs my whole life, specifically German Shepards and Shepard crossbreeds. I do not currently have any dogs of my own due to work commitments so would love to spend time with other furry friends. Having studied biology at uni, I am a lover of all animals and have had previous experience at a public farm caring for farm animals and small animals such as rabbits, Guinea pigs and ferrets. I have also kept fish tanks from a young age, caring for a variety of both tropical and cold water species. Therefore, I would be happy to care for any other pets you may have. I also have had previous experience caring for a multi-pet household of 6 cats and 2 dogs. About: We have a well cared for Cockapoo of 3 years and we think he's the best! I have had dogs since I was a child and it was important that my own child also had one to love and look after. We are now at the stage of wanting to look after other cute wee fluffballs - my daughters words LOL. We have a strong routine of dog walking and doggy care and would be happy to fit another dog into it. I have all of the school holidays off, so I'm always around during the day to walk, play and care for dogs. For the rest of the year, I work part-time and my husband works from home so there is always someone in the house. We usually walk our dog first thing in the morning, then again for a 'ball throw' mid-morning, another longer walk at the nearby country park mid-afternoon and a couple of smaller evening walks round the neighbourhood. Our dog always likes an indoor play in the evenings so we make sure we get down on the floor with him and his toys. Our medium sized fenced back garden is ideal for a morning run or to relax in the sun. We have green spaces to the back and right hand side of our garden so it's peaceful and both areas can be used for shorter walks. There is a dog next door and a couple a few doors down but there has never been any issues. Our dog isn't crated, he has the free run of the living room with throws over the couches. However, we'd be happy to crate your dog if requested. We don't allow our dog in the bedrooms, but he has free reign elsewhere. We have experience of caring for my parents elderly dog, Eddie. He was a huge part of my life from a puppy and so when they weren't able to look after him we took him in full time until he was sadly gone.

About: I have looked after / owned dogs for almost 20 years. We lost our beloved dog Holly in 2023 after adopting her as a young dog and we really miss time with her and walking. However, due to having two small children, owning another dog at this time is not possible. I have helped friends over the last two years and have also been contacted through them by other people to look after their dogs for holidays. I can help out Monday and Fridays during the day and weekends/holidays also. I currently have two fairly regular dogs that I look after and this is working really well for us. Please get in touch and we can see if we're able to help out with walks/holidays/overnights. I work part time (Tues/wed/thurs) so am available the other 4 days to help with walks/sitting/boarding. If I have a dog in then I am home mostly. Dog wouldn’t be left for long periods just for school drop off etc. I have a large enclosed back garden and live near a large park which is great for dogs. Also happy to take dogs in the car for trips / walks further afield. Dogs are allowed on the sofa and upstairs. Generally not on the bed during the night.

Today, my partner and I have our own Cockapoo, Rhubarb, who is a fun-loving, friendly boy with lots of energy. We’re continuing his training ourselves, and he absolutely loves meeting and playing with other dogs, making him a great companion. Every dog is unique, and I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. Whether that’s sticking to a specific feeding routine, administering medication, accommodating dietary requirements, enjoying long walks or simply understanding the little quirks that make your dog special, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and loved while they’re with us. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for your dog as if they were one of my own, giving them plenty of affection, attention and a home-from-home experience. Having recently been made redundant, I now have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your dog, ensuring they receive lots of attention, exercise and companionship. Even when I return to work, both my partner and I work from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone and will always have company and care throughout the day. Although we live in a flat, we have our own private, secure, fully fenced garden that’s exclusively for our use. It’s a safe space where your dog can play, explore and burn off some energy with Rhubarb if they enjoy canine company.
About: I may not own a dog, but I’ve happily walked friends’ dogs, know how to feed and water them, and always give care and attention. I study fine art full time and work part time but that doesn’t stop me from checking on all pets. That can be some days a week or on the weekends. About: All my life I have looked after pets, family and friends - I have owned dogs from a Rottweiler to a Yorkie. I have currently got two Jack Russells called Buddy and Milo. I got them as soon as I left the Navy in 2014. They are so spoilt but I wouldn't have it any other way! So you should know that your pet, whether its a rabbit or dog they will be truly loved while you are away on holiday with plenty cuddles and walks :) I have started my own dog walking service around Livingston. About: I have been a pet owner my whole life. Grew up around cats, and had a family dog in my mid teens. Throughout my life I have been around multiple dogs, from the smallest sausage dog to the biggest Leonberger. I have house sat for many family and friends over the years for their 4 legged friends. I am confident walking dogs of all sizes provided they have basic lead training, and i will ensure walks are safe, and engaging for your pooch. I have my own car, so am very mobile to get to various places. I love to have snuggles with cats, or just be a source of company for them while their beloved owners are away, making sure they are comfortable and safe in their home. About: Hello! I’m Madeleine, I live semi rural, lots of great walks, enclosed garden and plenty sofas to snooze on. I have 3 children who are very used to dogs, boundary aware and know how to behave around animals. However, if your guy is not keen on kids I am not for you, sadly. Your dog will have a separate room if needed/ when required. Otherwise I have a very open household and they will be treated like a member of the family. I have experience with most breeds including not limited too: brachycephalic Breeds(I owned a bulldog) , doodles, labs, Xoloitzcuintli & bullmastiff. I have completed dog first aid and own a dog first aid kit. I mention this as I know with certain breeds and the hotter summer months approaching overheating is a real concern. Im equipped and knowledgeable! Training experience : My dog was a rescue from Japan. He had no socialisation and wasn't toilet trained when we got him. After a lot of work, he is a well rounded guy who is fully toilet trained. I like to think I'm pretty versed in basic and behavioural correction training. I had a professional trainer advise with my dog, It is an area I’m really interested in, working with positive reinforcement and trust building. I can help with toilet training, socialisation, recall, desired behaviour positive reinforcement etc I can’t work with, understandably, large breeds that don't like children. If you are planning on a longer holiday, we will need to meet before. This will give both parties peace of mind. Potentially even an over night that I will do at a discounted rate. Even if it’s just one night I'm still always happy to meet up first! I will send you daily photos/ updates and happy to face time etc! I am a stay at home mum of 3 school aged children. After school drop off, my favourite thing to do is grab a coffee and go on a lovely (childfree) walk! I know tones of great walks and love finding new spots so no two walks are the same. Weekends and holidays my kids will be off school. We tend to go more child friendly places like lauriston Castle, Cammo and Cramond. I have my doggy first aid and kit! I am scripted and ready for things like: overheating (used to own a bulldog) anaphylactic reactions (I can administer injections) , kennel cough etc. We have a large fenced garden. Dog will sleep in our kitchen area/ utility if boarding. If its just a day visitor they will have the run of the downstairs.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was born, as did my partner Alex. We have had Chula (a sprightly and loving cockador) for almost 5 years now. Chula is the friendliest girl you’ll ever meet, she gets on with all dogs and loves having friends around to play and keep her company. About: I have had large breed rescue dogs my whole life, specifically German Shepards and Shepard crossbreeds. I do not currently have any dogs of my own due to work commitments so would love to spend time with other furry friends. Having studied biology at uni, I am a lover of all animals and have had previous experience at a public farm caring for farm animals and small animals such as rabbits, Guinea pigs and ferrets.
