About: I grew up with energetic spaniels and labradors for most of my life and in more recent years have started dog sitting for friends. Myself and my fiancé Emily love spending time with dogs but unfortunately are not able to have a dog of our own due to work travel commitments mid week. Our one year old staffie, Dolly, gets overwhelmed in larger groups of dogs so couldn’t go to our usual boarding kennels while we were on holiday. Andrew and his family took excellent care of her while we were away and the regular videos and photos posted on Rollo’s Retreats Facebook page and shared via WhatsApp gave us peace of mind that she was happy and enjoying her stay.
Absolutely unbelievable boarders, we left our Doberman with this lovely couple for 2 weeks, we felt anxious as our dog is a big nervous boy but these guys welcomed him in like their own and looked after him so well that we were scared he wouldn’t want to come back! Would highly recommend and will be using solely their services from now on. Amazing!
Anne was great with Baxter. We left Baxter with Anne while we were away on holiday and it was great knowing he was in such good hands. He was really well looked after, happy and clearly had a brilliant time. Highly recommend Jemma and Keira. They looked after Freya as if she were their own and despite being timid, she was so comfortable by the end! Also provided plenty of updates for me upon request, and were flexible when I asked for another day of care. Really impressed!
My rescue dog Bonnie had the best time with Emer. I got some lovely updates while we were away on their activities which included a trip to an agility dog park and a pup cup... Bonnie seemed disappointed to be leaving them at the end of the weekend, which is a huge testament to the care and attention she would have gotten. Jo looked after our dog for 2 weeks and was very accommodating of his little quirks. I felt like he was in a really safe pair of hands, as well as having doggy company with Jo’s own dog. Jo has great communication both ahead of the stay and regular updates while we were on holiday.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Cassandra and her family. They were honestly amazing with our dogs and made the whole thing so easy for us. Even when there were a couple of little tummy issues with one of our dogs, she handled it so calmly and kept us updated, which really put our minds at ease. It’s never easy leaving your dogs with someone else, but we felt completely comfortable knowing they were being so well looked after. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for better. Such a lovely family — would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for someone to care for their dogs.
