“This is the second time Dotty has been with Siyi - this time she stayed overnight, and she obviously had a ball. She loved mixing with other dogs and making friends and socialising. She came back the next day happy but exhausted - in a good way.”

“Beau's stay with Giulia was excellent. We got a lovely welcome from her and her family. Beau was excited to meet them. Not sure if Beau wanted to leave when we picked her up. Would not hesitate to use Giulia again.”

“I'm beyond grateful for the exceptional care you provide to my beloved Charlie! 🐾❤️ Your dedication and love for him shine through in every visit, and it's a huge relief to know he's in such capable and caring hands. Charlie adores you and feels completely at home in your company and at your house – his happy wags and relaxed demeanor say it all! 🙏 Thank you for being such a trusted and wonderful dog walker, Kirsty. You're a gem, and I appreciate you more than words can say. 🌟”

“I’m grateful to Samuel for accepting my booking at short notice when my booking with another Rover fell through. His place is great and he really made me and Finn feel welcome. I got great updates from Samuel, he was flexible and Finn seemed very happy with him. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks Samuel!”

“Pablo absolutely loved it with Anna 🫶 he was so excited to be there and they played with him so much and snuggled with him too. Considering he’s such a shy dog to get to snuggles in just 1 day is a big deal!! Thanks so much to both of them!”

“Eve was fantastic looking after our two dogs, they had a great time! Sent us updates and photos, was very flexible and accommodating to us, and overall was really lovely to deal with. Would recommend!”

“Judit was incredible with our dog Avie. She provided regular updates with pictures and videos and we could really tell that Avie was getting the love and attention she deserves. I would get in touch with Judit again to look after Avie anytime as I could tell she was very well looked after and cared for.”

“Our Lola was so happy with Aroa! Aroa sent us daily updates on how Lola was doing, which gave us great peace of mind. We felt relieved knowing Lola was in such good hands. Highly recommend Aroa to everyone!”

About: I've had my own dogs for 10 years—a Border Collie and a Pomeranian. They are very different in energy and personality, so I've learned a lot about dog behaviors and obtained many dog owner personalities such as being patient, caring, and supportive. Since I have two dogs living together, they sometimes get into arguments and little fights. That means I have real experience stepping in to calm things down, redirect them, and make sure each dogs do not feel left out and get along equally, safely, and have a good time. I'm a student without a heavy schedule and I live in a simple lifestyle. I have every Thursday–Sunday fully free, so it's a perfect time to take care of pets. Before living in UK, I also need to handle walks and care for my own dogs during my school time, so balancing pets in my daily routine is not a problem. I always prioritize safety and comfort for every pet. My own dog was bitten by other dogs in the past, so now whenever I walk my dogs, I have the habit of asking the owner about their dog's personality and behavior first in order to make sure it's a safe environment for everyone. When I'm looking after other people's pet, I'll definitely ask for their pet's habits and make sure everything goes smooth and safe. I live in Simpson Loan, where every building has their own fenced gardens, so it's a perfect place for toilet breaks. Also, I'm near to The Meadows where most dogs really loves to play at.
“Jessica was wonderful with our nervous and slightly frail older dog. She made her very comfortable and kept us updated throughout our trip. She was also very patient and accomodating when we needed to change our pick up time, which we so appreciated. We'd leave our dog with Jessica again without any hesitation. Thank you!”

“Bea loved her time with Bronagh and Kathryn! She was delighted to meet them and explore their flat and we actually had to bribe her with treats to leave! They sent us lovely photos and updates so we knew Bea was safe and happy. 10/10 would recommend”

“Isabelle kept us updated with photos and messages on how Ember was getting on. She clearly loved her and looked after her great. We had one very tired out, happy pup to come home too. Thank you so much!”

“Chloe looked after our springer Bailey for a few days. This was our first experience of home boarding and using Rover and it was a brilliant experience. Chloe and her family were so warm and friendly and Bailey settled in quickly. We received regular updates and photos of him having fun on amazing walks up Arthur Seat and in the meadows. Being the first time, we were a bit anxious but needn’t have been as Chloe provided a first class service and kept me right with the Rover processes. I would definitely recommend. Thanks Chloe.”

About: I grew up with a Westie and a black Lab who were a great combination. Over the past 10 years I've regularly looked after friends dogs to prepare us for owning our own dog. Five years ago we got our lovely Westie. I attended Dog's Trust dog training sessions as well as reading countless dog behaviour books. Our Westie needs medication for allergies so I'm used to being reliable with daily pills. Spending time looking after dogs is a natural fit for us. I run my own business, full time from home. It's important to me that dogs aren't left on their own and I like the company. Most days involved a short stroll before work, a long lunch time walk and then an evening stroll/sniff. I like to vary the walks so dogs can enjoy new trails, smells and experiences. At weekends we quite often head out to East Lothian to enjoy the beaches and countryside. We have one 5-year old Westie who is pretty chill. He likes to sleep under tables or beds. We have a calm home with plenty of space for separate doggy beds or crates if that's what you prefer. We are very comfortable letting dogs on the sofa. It's one of my favourite parts of an evening to sit on the sofa cuddled up with the dog. We have a mature 14-year old son who is a dog lover and loves to play with dogs. He's very good at reading their moods too. We don’t delegate dog walks to him though. We have a balcony area and are surrounded by parks and green spaces from Inverleith to the Water of Leith and more.

“It was our first time leaving Fia who was a rescue dog she came happy and even lost a bit of weight well done. She was well walked and we where send up to date photos which put your mind a ease. We will use Maria again with no doubt. She does what she says home from home. Thank you”

Foteini looked after our wee old man for 5 days whilst we were away and she was great with him. Asked plenty of questions about him & his routine to be familiar with him & his habits whilst in her care. She gave us updates & we checked in to make sure he was alright since he hadn’t been with a sitter before, and he enjoyed his time with her. She kept up with his medicine & supplements and took great care of him - thanks again!

Looking for a dog sitter can be difficult, worrying and time consuming to find someone that feels right for your dog and trustworthy who will take care of your baby. We had a family emergency and had to leave for 10 days and needed someone that was happy to take a puppy at very short notice, sending messages to people amd getting nowhere, that’s until we came across Alan, from the get go he was great, we let him know that our puppy could be hard work but this didnt phase Alan at all, we took our puppy Harvey to his house, very friendly, warm and must say very professional, we sat at the table and discussed Harvey’s needs and what he was like, Alan asked all the questions you would want someone to be asking, he sent us regular photos and video updates of Harvey and also contacted us with the odd query to make sure all was normal, he also played with Harvey a lot which was amazing. So if your like us, sending out messages trying to figure out the best option for your dog then please look no further, Alan is a fantastic fit and choice for your little family member, he will be well looked after and loved, we would highly recommend Alan and will definetly be using him again in the future. Absolutely fantastic dog sitter !!

My Max heads to Dr. Nicole's with no hesitation. He clearly enjoys his time there, meaning I can relax knowing he's safe and cared for and well looked after. The set up is great and works well. I've said it before, it is such a pleasure leaving my dog and not spending that time feeling guilty and/or stressed.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our pup immediately felt comfortable with Edward. We received daily updates, pictures, and thoughtful messages about how things were going. When we picked our dog up, she was relaxed and happy — the best sign of great care. We’re so grateful and will absolutely be returning clients!

Judit helpfully responded to my last minute request for a sitter. She was very welcoming and wanted to make sure Rose was comfortable in her home before I left. She and her family took very good care of Rose and I got frequent updates with pictures and videos showing she was having a lovely time!

We can’t thank Justina enough for taking such amazing care of our dog while we were away. Our Reggie is reactive and can be a handful so we were so happy to see him so happy and relaxed when we got back, he slept the entire day as he was so well excersized! it was clear he was loved and cared for like one of their own. I got regular updates, lots of photos, and I could really enjoy my holiday knowing he was in such good hands. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Poppy, my 6 month old Labrador puppy loved Evangelos! It was my first time leaving her with someone from Rover, so I was quite nervous. Poppy was very happy to arrive at the flat, and was super relaxed when I picked her up. Would highly recommend Evangelos, he made everything very easy, thank you!

Freyja absolutely loved her stay with Kasia and Tomak! Thank you so much for making our holiday a holiday for her as well xxx I'm always a bit anxious leaving Freyja with sitters, because she is nervous with new places and people, but Kasia put me at ease straight away. Would highly recommend!

Siyi was absolutely brilliant! Our Lhasa Apso, Franko spent four nights with Siyi and almost didn't want to leave by day four. Siyi gave us consistent updates, photos, videos, and any concerns throughout his stay. She regularly walked and played with Franko and made full dinners for him every evening with a mix of meats and veg. Can't recommend enough and will definitely be returning, thanks Siyi!

Maria was a perfect dog sitter for Brooky. Being a puppy, Brooky can be quite a handful, however Maria managed it without any problems. She took him out for regular walks as well as longer trips and kept us updated with plenty of pics. Brooky had a great time playing with Maria's dog and children and he's already looking forward to his next visit. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.
