About: I have spent most of my life around dogs. I love looking after animals as they provide so much joy for me. I especially enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs come rain, snow or sun! Happy to go out in all weathers to make the most of the fresh air :) I have experienced hosting dogs at home and having the company is a wonderful experience. I'm currently working part time at the weekends so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! They can be dropped on from 9am onwards and picked up at 6pm (earlier or later is also fine!) I would take the dog out for at least 3 walks per day and regular bathroom breaks. I have a spacious living room for the pets to enjoy at their own leisure. I have a residential garden where animal would be safe to be out in. I'm more than happy to use a crate if requested by the owner.

When I picked her up, I found an excited, but tired pup, ready to be introduced to her new home! Our Luna is NOT an easy dog. She’s hyper, easily stressed, and can be reactive at times, but Tom handled her very well, and in stride, even when she threw a little fit at the park. Would recommend & would book again!”

This is the 4 th or 5 th timeGabrielle and Josh have taken great care of Bobby. Bobby is always happy to see them and I have total confidence he is well looked after. He is now 13 years and taking a few different medications- Gabrielle was happy to manage this aspect. I am very happy to recommend leaving you dog with her.
Hui Nan and Daniel were amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. I felt totally confident leaving our dog with them for a long weekend, they sent regular updates/pics, were very flexible with arrangements, and went above & beyond in their helpfulness. They also seem like genuinely lovely "dog" people - 100% recommended.
Robert took great care of Sully, sending me daily updates of their many adventures. Robert also responded quickly if I had any questions. Sully has allergies and instructions were followed very well. I would definitely recommend Robert and happily let him look after Sully again. Sully loved him and was a very happy boy coming home.
Our 4 year old dog stayed with Dr Nicole for almost 2 weeks. She got to make friends with other sweet dogs, including Bustaphine, go on lots of walks and play cognitive games. We were regularly updated on how and what she was doing. It was very reassuring to know Nicole has a deep knowledge of and takes responsibility for providing great care.
Kate was absolutely fantastic looking after my dog Rio. It was the first time I'd used anyone on Rover and I couldn't be happier with how it went. She sent so many photos updating me about how he was getting on - lots of walks, playing with his ball and chilling out in the house - Rio clearly had the best time! Will absolutely feel super confident and happy any time Kate is looking after him again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
