About: I am Giulia, I live with my partner and our corgi Mortimer in a flat in the heart of Edinburgh. We are close to The Meadow (if your buddies love to meet new friends), Holyrood Park (if they prefer a more peaceful and calm park) and to a small park just behind the flat, perfect for a wee walk. Since I was younger I volunteered at my local shelter back in Italy, taking care of dogs and walk them. About: I come from a home that always was filled with pets. We had a few cats, dogs and guinea pigs, and our lives revolved around them: from daily walks with the dogs together, cooking with cat sous-chefs, spending time in the garden with guinea pigs grazing grass or watching a film together with iur pets in the evening. About: Myself and my partner have both grown up with dogs - him having had a mixture of collies and mixed breeds, while I have had flat coated retrievers, cocker spaniels and a Rhodesian ridgeback since I was young. We have looked after my family dogs extensively in recent years, notably my parents’ two energetic flat coats (now 2 and 4) and my sister’s cocker spaniel (now 10) since she was a puppy alongside a number of friends’ dogs. In addition to this we now also have our very own Jack Russell puppy! We work on a hybrid basis so there is always someone at home with the dog and we have a fenced back garden for the dogs to play in, as well as access to the large, private Douglas Crescent Gardens to take dogs for walks and a play in a safe enclosed area during the working day, as well as a car for adventures further afield on weekends. My partner and I both work on a hybrid basis so there is always someone home during the day to let dogs out for a loo break when required, as well as walks and playing during the working day. At weekends we like to take our dog Laszlo out for long walks, whether to the beach, a park or further afield to play and explore new places and would love to take your dog along. We have a fenced garden, as well as access to the larger, fenced private Douglas Crescent Gardens where we go regularly. Depending on your dogs needs there is plenty of space in our flat to let them have rest time or be crated as required. As dog owners ourselves we are very aware of an individual dog’s needs and quirks and are happy to accommodate!

About: My family have had dogs my entire life, all of which have been such special characters! My last dog was particularly special, having had her for 15+ years. Miss having the opportunity to look after her whenever I wish! I'd regularly look after her when my parents went away. Often I'd keep her for months at my flat as we both loved each others company. I'm very active and love going for walks so if you're dog is particularly energetic, we'll just have to go for a long walk, won't we! I'm currently a student so I'm available from Friday (12:30/13:00) right through the weekend to look after your dog(s). My partner (who I live with) loves dogs too and works from home during the week in case you need a little more flexibility around pick-up/drop-off timings; he's always happy to help out! Our flat does not have a garden and is two floors up. It's a spacious flat however and I'd take them out for walks regularly, depending on their needs. If your dog struggles with stairs and is not too large, I can pick them up as I used to do with my old dog who was a collie spaniel cross.

About: I have always loved animals. My experience with them includes having pets throughout my life, working as a teenager at a dog day care center, and working at an animal sanctuary in Texas with unusual pets, as well as 5+ years on Rover. In Edinburgh, I only work part time (with dogs!), so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet. My partner and I will be sure to give your animal all the attention they need — we both love the excuse to dote on a pet! Depending on our new friend's energy levels, both work part time so we will certainly take them out for as many long walks as they need, and will be able to follow their schedule. With or without a furry friend in our home, we both take long walks every day, so fitting a companion into our schedules is easy! I will always see & ask what a specific dog's needs are before working with them. I love fetch, tug of war, and wrestling with dogs who want to do so, but I am also happy to cuddle up on the couch next to a sleepy low energy dog. I've specifically worked for long periods of time with getting anxious dogs to open up to new people, so I know when to give a pet their space.

About: I come from a home that always was filled with pets. We had a few cats, dogs and guinea pigs, and our lives revolved around them: from daily walks with the dogs together, cooking with cat sous-chefs, spending time in the garden with guinea pigs grazing grass or watching a film together with iur pets in the evening. This lifestyle has always inspired me growing up and my sister too- she even became a vet! Since I left my family home, I have 2 beautiful cats on my own in a medium sized apartment. Other than my experience with my own pets, I have also been trusted to take care of my friends' pets a several times. We have a communal garden where I tend to take our cats on a lead. If taking care of dogs in here, I'd rather take them for a longer walk to the Meadows. I would keep your pets separate from my cats to reduce stress (especially for the cats), but if the stay is longer and your pet isn't anxious around my cats, I'd try to introduce them. If keeping pets separately, I'd allow pets to take turns in exploring the common areas of the flat.

About: We are a dog loving family of 4 (2 daughters aged 13 and 9). We've had a dog in the past but can't manage the full time commitment at the moment, hence looking for the next best thing of looking after others. I work from home and whilst there is plenty of family plans at the weekend , there is always someone at home to look after a pet. We look forward to taking dogs on our family walks at the weekend. We don't have our own garden but we have a key to a big (fenced) private garden at the end of our street for regular walks.
