About: Hi! 🫶🏻 I absolutely adore dogs and have been around various different breeds throughout my life. I am a mother to a friendly Maltipoo 💖 I understand how important it is to know that your fur baby is safe and settled. I am a reliable and responsible person, ensuring your dog’s wellbeing is my top priority. Every dog will be treated like a VIP and will adapt to each personality. 😊 I work from home on a permanent basis which means I have a lot of freedom to pursue my passion- dogs! Whether we’re going on adventures to the beach and parks or having a snooze on the couch, I will always try to make their experience fun, stimulating and comfortable. 😊 I work from home Monday to Thursday which is fully flexible. This means I can take breaks/extended lunch whenever I so wish. I am also available during the weekends from Friday - Sunday Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in their owner’s home, I will follow the owner’s lead and stick to their usual schedule for meal times, walks etc. I make sure dogs have plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, fresh water, and, of course, lots of affection and attention. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions, whether that’s administering medication, reinforcing training, or caring for senior dogs with extra needs. Having had an older dog, I understand they may require more patience 💛

About: I have taken care of different kinds of pets long term for over 15 years, including fish, guinea pigs, and my family dog. I have even completed a course in animal husbandry for zoo animals! I would love to look after any pet that you have—small or large—and have done so regularly for friends and family. I currently have a part-time job and so have lots of time available for keeping your pets company :) Whilst my schedule changes every week, it is also flexible and able to accommodate variable situations. While there is a shared garden for my flat if your pet needs quick access to grass, I also live very near The Meadows for walks, and have even taken my family's dog to Holyrood Park and up Arthur's Seat—lots of options for different lengths of walks (or hikes if your dog prefers!) I don't have any pets of my own currently, so your pet(s) can have all of my attention!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old, it was my responsibility to look after the feeding, bathing and walking/play time for the family dogs. For the last few years I have taken care of multiple different breeds both large playful dogs and small young puppies still being potty trained with stricter supervision requirements and food schedules, as well as older cats, many homes that also house birds, fish and Guinea pigs. I am currently working part time and am very flexible on the days and times I am available for walking, checking in and/or pet sitting. When caring for another owners pet i work hard to uphold the boundaries and training they have worked hard to teach their pet, while giving the pet the love, care and attention like I would my own, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe with me.

About: I've recently moved to Edinburgh from London where I lived with 2 dogs and a very sassy (ginger) cat. I grew up sharing responsibility of my gorgeous pets but was often left alone to be the sole carer so am very aware of what those responsibilities look like! I also had hamsters, guinea pigs and fish so am very familiar with looking after smaller pets too! Both of my dogs in London are rescues - one of them has quite severe human anxiety so I'm very familiar with how to deal with that in a compassionate way too! I'm a tidy, organised, active student who's simply looking for some companionship for breaks in my study days as well as a hug to keep me going! I'm primarily at home studying throughout this year which means my routine offers lots of flexibility. I'm a nursery teacher (away from my studies) so I'm very familiar with sending updates and pictures throughout the day as well as approaching everyone with the expectation that we all have different needs! I'm a proactive person so whether it's a comfy companion your pet needs or someone to play with I can be there! I'm currently a Masters student at the University of Edinburgh so am incredibly flexible. I primarily only have one class a day - around midday - so am able to be around in the mornings and/or afternoons. I'm able to do dog walks or simply offer some companionship throughout the day when others are unable to be around! Unfortunately due to my renting agreement I'm unable to house pets in Edinburgh currently, therefore will request that jobs involve the pet owners home!

About: I’ve been the owner of two large rescue dogs in the past and have volunteered in a rescue shelter in Thailand looking after 17 dogs with varying needs. I am very confident in looking after shy, timid pets and am happy to help with any obedience training if wanted. I have a large house with a garden with lots of space for a pet to roam! I have experience in looking after puppies and senior dogs. I can play frisbee, football, tennis etc with the energetic dogs or a calm, slow walk for the oldies! Experienced with sighthounds. I am currently generally based at home throughout the day and evenings, but will occasionally need to pop in and out. I can work around the schedule of the dog so that they can keep their routine. I can offer whatever pet service the owner is after in the style they want….. lots of attention given or minimising the attention given to the dog/s if in training

About: I have a dog on my own back home, and I care often now dogs in Edinburgh now through other apps like Borrow my doggy. I’m currently working a 9-5 job and with potential of hybrid soon, so would have extra time at home to care for dogs at home! I have currently have evenings and weekends available to dog sit hit me up! I would care for dogs in my flat 2 bed rooms and lift live on the 3rd floor. We have some garden around my flat but there is also a park 5 minutes away great to bring and train dogs!

About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 8 years old. I help take care of 2 dogs since they were puppies called Mila and Hallie. They required a lot of patience, play time and training when they were little, and now that they are 4 and 5 years old, they feel like part of my family. My parent's currently have two very different dogs, a rescue dog from Romania and a 2 year old miniature cavapoo who is very needy! I lived and worked from home when Pippa, their cavapoo was a puppy so I also have experience looking after very young dogs. Now that I live in my own flat, I still regularly look after both dogs, so I’m comfortable looking after dogs with different personalities, ages and needs. My home is a ground-floor flat with a private garden, making it easy and safe for regular toilet breaks. I’m also close to a large park, so dogs can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. I would always follow their usual routines and make sure that they are supervised. I will always follow owners preferences with keeping dogs on leads and making sure we have good recall before going on walks. I will keep my home free of harmful cleaning products to dogs and keep anything potentially harmful out of reach. About: I grew up in a family with Labrador retrievers, so caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. While I love animals of all kinds, I have a particular soft spot for large dog breeds. I’m also a proud cat parent to my sweet black cat, Luna. She’s quite shy, so I’m very comfortable around anxious, timid, or special-needs pets and understand the importance of giving them time and space to feel safe. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, roommates, and families, including pets with special health needs. I worked as a professional pet sitter and dog walker for a couple in NYC for about a year, caring for their two wonderful dachshunds, who needed extra attention due to back and stomach issues. More recently, I helped walk a dog for someone recovering from surgery who wasn’t able to get outside herself. My experience includes walking and caring for a wide variety of breeds, including Blue Heelers, Border Collies, Beagles, Huskies, Pit Bulls, Greyhounds, and German Shepherds. I'm just getting settled into a new M-F job, so my availability is somewhat more limited for pet sitting and dog walking during the day. During week days, I'm happy to help out in the mornings or evenings or occasionally overnight, as needed. I'm completely flexible over the weekend. Pet safety is really important to me. If I notice something appears wrong (your pet is limping or eating lots of grass/ has watery stool), I will absolutely investigate and make my best judgement about a) letting you know, and b) determining if immediate medical attention is needed. As for trust, I hope my past experience speaks for itself, but I'm also more than willing to connect with you over the phone at any time should you want to check in on your pet through FaceTime. I'm a very clean, organized, and tidy person and if welcomed into your home to pet sit, you can feel secure knowing that I'll leave your home in good order.

About: I never knew owning 8 pets at once wasn’t common, until I became an adult and realised how lucky I truly was. I had Lucy (a terrapin), Hazel and Misty (Syrian hamster and dwarf hamster), Yoyo (chameleon), eelie (an eel), goldie (a goldfish), Ninja and Bailey (dwarf bunnies) and finally Kitty and peanut, my two cats. Unfortunately I had to move away from my zoo for university, where I’m missing all of them too much - which has motivated me onto this app. I am incredibly experienced with all types of animals, including with young, senior and medical care. I look after ny older cat for his kidney problems, which gives me the responsibility of giving him medicine and looking after him closely (which I wouldn’t trade for anything). I’ve also helped with raising abandoned kittens in the countryside including bottle feeding, stimulating and raising 5 beautiful kittens. I’m only 19 years old but have already experienced what it’s like to be a mum☺️ I’m an animal lover (clearly) and believe it’s all about the energy and love you give to the animal. Hope this helps you understand me better :) I’m currently a student at the University of Edinburgh, meaning the weekends will be my best time for boarding/sitting/walking your furry family. However, I have many hours in between my days where i am free, including days completely free, where I’m ready to work for your needs - additionally there are five week strikes where I’ll be completely free in my schedule. I have a fenced garden, with grass and toys to play with. I’m very good with cleaning and tidying after a mess gets created, and have a lot of focused energy for your furry friend. I can organise my time will so no schedule is too much.

About: Having begun dog sitting a neighbour’s Cockapoo eight years ago, I have recognised an aptitude for dog care. I’ve had many lovely dogs and delightful owners. I’ve found that having a dog with me is good for both myself and them as we can vary activities to suit whatever is happening. When I have more than one dog, they play together which is a great way of socialising and expending energy. There is a park directly opposite my home and there are generally other dogs there for canine company. Most local businesses are dog friendly and the dogs accompany me on errands. I’m flexible with times and can be available at short notice. From experience I no longer accept dogs under one year old due to the wear and tear caused by them not being house trained. I’m here for the dogs, my days revolve around them. They take precedence. All I ask is that we have regular coffee time in dog friendly cafes. Canine guests are treated better than human visitors. It’s been noted. Dogs are happy with me as we do things together and they’re constantly stimulated.
