About: Having begun dog sitting a neighbour’s Cockapoo eight years ago, I have recognised an aptitude for dog care. I’ve had many lovely dogs and delightful owners. I’ve found that having a dog with me is good for both myself and them as we can vary activities to suit whatever is happening. When I have more than one dog, they play together which is a great way of socialising and expending energy. There is a park directly opposite my home and there are generally other dogs there for canine company. Most local businesses are dog friendly and the dogs accompany me on errands. I’m flexible with times and can be available at short notice. From experience I no longer accept dogs under one year old due to the wear and tear caused by them not being house trained. I’m here for the dogs, my days revolve around them. They take precedence. All I ask is that we have regular coffee time in dog friendly cafes. Canine guests are treated better than human visitors. It’s been noted. Dogs are happy with me as we do things together and they’re constantly stimulated.

About: Hi I am Ieva! With your dog or cat, I will treat them like they're a part of a family, lots of attention and exercise when needed. I am experience with medication administration, puppies, reactive dogs, elderly dogs, big dogs, have had dogs my entire life and I am experience in raising a pet. I am open to Drop-in dog walking, pet sitting (I have experience with rehabilitating crows and pigeons too) And I am free Mondays, Tuesday and Sundays all day, evenings all other days, nights. We had two family dogs growing up and a cat, then, since I started living on my own, I had a husky x staffie, a Chihuahua, and currently have a Chihuahua x Chinese Crested, which I have raised from a puppy. I have experience with British Shorthair cats, Ragdoll cats and Russian Blue cats. I am an animal enthusiast, and I love nature and walking. I am an environmental science graduate. Monday, Tuesday and Sunday all day. Other days: evenings and nights. enquire. I'm someone who likes routine and consistency. I find dogs settle better when their care is reliable and predictable, so I try to keep to the same times and structure each time I look after them, rather than fitting them in wherever there's a gap. In a pet owner's home: I follow your routines exactly as given, feeding times, medication, walk schedules, and where they're allowed or not allowed. I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want shown to mine, and I always make sure doors and gates are properly secured before, during, and after visits. For walks: I keep dogs on lead in any area with road access or other risks, and only allow off-lead time in secure spaces or where you've confirmed it's safe and your dog is reliably recall - trained. I stay alert to other dogs, wildlife, and traffic throughout. I send updates and photos so you always know your dog is safe and having a good time, and I'm always reachable if anything comes up.

About: We’ve always had family dogs, and I also had my own dog for a couple of years. I have experience with foster dogs, and my friends often rely on me to take care of their pups when they travel to warmer places. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, giving them cuddles, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m currently working from home, so I can keep your dog company all day long and make sure they’re never alone if needed. I have plenty of time for hugs, games, and walks! I’m really flexible, and I believe a tired pup is a happy pup, so I love long adventures and play sessions! My partner and I live in a one-bedroom flat on Leith Walk, with plenty of parks nearby! We’ll both make sure your dog gets extra love while you’re away. I strictly follow owners’ rules when it comes to schedule and food, no treats unless you say so!

About: I care deeply about animals and have worked for an animal charity since 2015. I love being around dogs and taking care of them. They come with me everywhere they’re allowed to and get their own dedicated walks, exercise, and sniff time. Their wellbeing (healthy snacks, comfort, mental stimulation, togetherness) is my top priority for the whole stay. At home, I follow their cues for cuddles, and I’m big on making sure they always have a full dish of fresh water and are fed their meals on time. My building has a nice fenced in garden that gets lots of sunlight and we visit frequently outside of bigger walks. I work from home 9 to 5 Monday to Friday so they hang with me during work and I take them out 5x a day starting around 8am, ending around 10:30pm. In the evenings I go to the gym at 5:30 and maybe Tesco - away for up to 2 hours. I leave soft music on for them. I’m very close to lots of green spaces including St Marks park, Eyre st park, and some gorgeous trails. Aside from garden breaks, I take them on two big walks. If they can go off lead I’ll give them some independent exploring time in a park. My flat has a fenced in garden so we go there 3x a day and I never have them go more than 4 hours without a chance to relieve themselves. I usually send one update midday and another in the evening, but can tailor it depending on your preference.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and other animals my whole life. I had a persian cat when I was little and I now have two dogs. Family friends and neighbours have always relied on me and trusted me to walk, feed and play with their pets. I have often walked and looked after four dogs at a time and I love the company! I have trained two of my own puppies as well as helping family friends with their own dogs. I am now also accommodating for the senior care of my ten year old pug Daisy. I love taking dogs for long walks and playing with them but I also understand pups who need a slower pace. I’ve always loved and cared for animals deeply and I will treat your pets as such. I am currently a university student on summer holidays, so I have plenty of time and availability to look after and play with your dogs! I am able to take them on walks during the day and look after them in my own home or yours for boarding. I have a fenced garden at home with two friendly dogs of my own to keep yours company. I make my fur babies homemade food and can accommodate for whatever diet your dogs need as well. We go on walks everyday and I like to explore new areas with the pups to keep them entertained, but am also down to snuggle on the sofa!

After that, I moved to Scotland for university, where I embraced every opportunity to explore, studying abroad in Canada and Switzerland, and attending summer schools in Denmark and the United States. Since completing my master’s degree, I’ve been working remotely as a sales executive. I’ve been lucky enough to work from amazing places like Finland, Malta, Romania, Estonia, Morocco, Cyprus, Spain, Italy etc. So far, I’ve visited 43 countries and can’t wait to explore more corners of the world while making new friends, especially the furry kind :) When I’m not working or exploring, you’ll likely find me with a book in hand. About: I’ve had dogs all 23 years of my life till i moved to the Uk (with 3 dogs currently back home). Also, i usually do pet sitting, day cares and pet walks back in my home country on a different app, as seen in the reviews:) Additionally, i had been working in a pet clinic, full time for about 1.5 years and am currently studying Veterinary medicine at the University of edinburgh. So i would say that i am really well equipped with the appropriate knowledge to take care of your fur babies, large or small, while you are away! I’m currently studying at the university of edinburgh so my schedule would vary depending on the dates of stay. But typically during a weekday, 10am would be the earliest that i leave the house and am I'm back by latest 5pm. I’m mostly home during the weekends except for quick meetups with my friends over lunch or dinner! (Do text me to check, as my schedule is not fixed! And i always make sure that i am able to care for them before taking them in:)) I will take loads of pics and update you every alternate day or as frequently as you would like me to! I also live w a small garden just next to my flat for any quick trips to the loo and can bring them for a walk near the meadows which is just a 10min walk away.

About: When I was 9 I said to my parents. “I would like a dog please”, to which they responded… “no we’re not buying you a dog.” So I did extra chores for extra pocket money and bought one myself. My parents couldn’t argue with the hard work and determination I showed to have a fur friend. I grew up with 2 family dogs who stayed with us each for 16 years. Since I no longer have my family dogs and didn’t feel ready for having my own, I decided to become a pet sitter. I have taken care of all sorts of dogs (and cats) all shapes, sizes and ages! I am self employed and have a flexible schedule! I like to get out for both a morning and evening walk myself, so even better with a companion. I love ALL animals. Leigh-Ann could not have been more brilliant and cooked him chicken and rice to settle his belly, kept an eye on his stools to make sure it was all getting better and even cleaned up a bit of a poonami. I felt so comfortable knowing he was so safe with her and had updates through to day mostly of him fast asleep with her on the sofa as he obviously felt so comfortable with her too.
