About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole live, but have specifically been working in veterinary since 2018. I graduated with a degree in veterinary nursing in 2022 and have only now decided to leave the industry in 2026 for a break. However, I would love to keep your furry companions in my life still, so hoping to pet sit. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents. I have taken a break from my job as a veterinary nurse, so other than some events and plans i tend to have throughout the year, I am free most days. I am not able to accommodate pets on my own home due to having roommates and my home isn’t pet proof, however I would follow any rules given to me.

About: Growing up on a farm I have cared for animals and pets most of my life. The majority of experience is with dogs and cats however I have also experience looking after various farm animals/pets. Dogs: At the moment it's mostly dogs (but still open to other animals!). I have looked after lots of dogs during my time in the city here - on a formal and informal basis. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them is a joy for me. I ensure they don't have too much time alone - especially on their first stay - as want them to see my home as a place of comfort & something to look forward to! I love getting to know a dog's favourite activity and seeing where they like to explore - feel free to share these facts during their stay :) Ps they do get couch / bed privileges here if that's something they are allowed... I currently work part time as an Occupational Therapist within mental health. I am available on days off, evenings and flexible to weekends. I am open for doggy day care, walks, check in/playtime, overnight stays. Not currently available for house sitting. I live in a big flat with 3 other animal lovers and we have current experience pet sitting. We have access to Queen Street Gardens - so lots of SAFE space for pets to be let off lead and run around in a quiet secured area :)

About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of dogs since I was a kid. I have had two Great Danes (LOVE large breeds) and most recently lived with three cats of my own. I’m the go-to ‘pet sitter’ for all of my friends and frequently will watch theirs for weeks at a time. I love making sure pets feel safe and at home with me, whether it’s cuddles or going on adventures! I work remotely, so generally can fit my routine around the pet! If they need cuddles or alone time I can organize accordingly. For pets who need lots of outdoor time, I can hang in my front garden (weather permitting) and I love going on long walks and runs, so they can come with me when appropriate. I have a fenced front garden, and with pets I give them the space or lack of space they want generally. At my home,I give them a place to establish comfort, and at your home I follow your guidelines to make sure they have a routine to keep things normalized (with lots of treats if allowed)

About: I have looked after my own cat, as well as a close friend's dog, for over 10 years now. I have experience in animal handling, behaviour, nutrition, and medication administration from my veterinary studies. I understand and prioritise the welfare of animals above all else. I am currently in my second year at vet school, however until june I am very quite with work, and then I will be on summer holidays. Generally evenings work better for me as well as weekends I respect property and ask plenty of questions about dos and don'ts. I have looked after friends and family dogs previously on many occasions. I do not have any dogs of my own. My current routine includes a full time job 9-5. I am able to do evening dog walks. I have availability most weekends - spending most weekends in Edinburgh. My preference for services would be dog walking and dog sitting on agreement with you and by prior arrangement. I regularly do dog walks around new town area including water of Leith walks. I will keep dogs on the leads at all times during walks. I am willing to accept all dog breeds, however I will not accept dogs which are XL in size. I am comfortable with walking dogs which are large sized to small. My current routine includes a full time job 9-5. I am able to do evening dog walks. I have availability most weekends and spend most of my time in Edinburgh. I can care for your pets with their current routine at your own home. I am able to follow your instructions to look after you pets as you normally would. I am able to take dogs out for long walks & since I am training for a half marathon, I am keen to run with your dogs if that would be appropriate.

About: My family has always included 4-legged members (both dogs & cats) ever since I was 5 years old and we treated them just like family members. In return they've given us their genuine, unconditional love and I couldn't imagine my life without them! I've always taken on an active role caring for our pets and since I can't have my own while abroad I decided to do the next best thing and take care of other people's :) I've recently graduated and not found a full time job yet so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups/cats during the day! I love going out for walks in nature so what better than having a lovely four legged friend join me on these adventures! I live in a flat so there's no way your pet can go outside without my permission, plus, I make sure to keep an eye on them at all times, they're lovely company after all and I'm enjoying having them with me! About: I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs and cats previously and have helped raise and train my flat mates puppy. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays so can be flexible (including weekends). I have a small ground floor flat but able to provide toilet breaks as much as needed and walks before and after work and at lunch time if needed! I currently work full time - Tuesdays and Fridays from home. 9-5 Monday to Friday and will be available on some weekends too! When I work from home i am able to provide toilet breaks whenever needed and time outside/ walks before and after work and also on my lunch hour! Can be flexible - I sometimes dog sit for friends when they are in the office. I have a secure ground floor flat next to a safe walk way. I am also next to a lot of green space and there are many routes away from main roads.

About: I've had my sweet black lab for over 4 years, bringing him to Scotland all the way from Los Angeles. I grew up taking care of our family cat and even our family rabbits from a young age! Neighbors and friends have consistently trusted me to walk, look after and play with their dogs and cats while they're out on holiday. I'm available on weekdays after 6pm and all day during the weekends! I'm available to walk and/or check in on your pets anytime then! I'll spend time making sure your fur babies get lots of love and feel taken care of and safe when you're not around!

About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for ages. I’ve also worked at an animal rights charity since 2015 because animals have a huge place in my heart and I care deeply for their well-being. If I see a dog at a restaurant or venue who doesn’t have a water dish, I’ll always get them one. I have so much empathy for animals it hurts. With me, your dog will get long walks, lots of attention, and be well cared for and engaged. I take them with me everywhere they can come and make sure they get their own dedicated walks and sniffing time. At home, they get as many cuddles as they want - I always read their cues and follow their lead. I make sure they always have a full water dish, are fed on time, and I can give them medicine, if needed. If dogs like being pet, scratched, or massaged, that's what they get from me until my hands fall off. My flat has a nice size shared garden in the back that gets lots of sunlight, and it’s fenced in. I work from home 9 to 5 Monday to Friday so it’s flexible. I take them out 5 times a day starting at 7:30am and ending at 10pm. I have them settled for sleep by 10:30. In the evenings I go to the gym at 5:30 and am away for about 90 mins total, unless otherwise specified. I leave the music on for them, softly. Other than that I’m with the dog the whole time. I’m very close to lots of green spaces including St Marks park, Eyre st park, and some gorgeous trails. Aside from garden breaks, I do one to two big walks, depending if they pull or can go off lead. My flat has a fenced in garden so we visit frequently and I never have them go more than 4 hours without a potty break. I’m very happy to send you updates however frequently you like. I usually do one midday and another in the evening, but can tailor it depending on length of their stay and your preference.
