Please tell me about your dog's personality and preferences ahead of time so I know how to make him or her comfortable. I also like to know how the dog is on a lead, whether they are comfortable off lead, and whether they are shy or friendly around other pets.
A typical day
I love being in nature and so am likely to take your dog to a park, by the Water of Leith, or on a trail. Being a graveyard and cemetery enthusiast, I also enjoy taking dogs to Edinburgh's many beautiful graveyards. These are always done on a lead and with respect to ensure we can enjoy these special spaces without causing a disturbance. They are also a great way to meet other dogs and their owners!

Pet care experience
I've been happily dogwalking and pet-sitting in both Canada and Edinburgh for 15+ years and have owned everything from dogs and guinea pigs to birds, fish, and snails (don't ask). Here to walk, feed, groom, and lavish attention upon your furry friend. I have a relaxed, easygoing, and patient manner which I believe translates to the pets in my charge. Looking forward to meeting yours! I have a pretty flexible work schedule and like to get outside for my breaks, meaning I can check in on your pet during the work day if you're not too far away. Otherwise, I am happy to use my evenings and weekends to walk and/or check in on your pet. I understand the importance of routine and familiarity to a pet's wellbeing and so will take every care to follow the instructions you set to a tee while also getting to know your pet on his or her terms. I know change can be stressful for a pet and so I want to make sure the experience leaves them content, comfortable, and happy.

We had Daria visit our dogs in an Air bnb on our wedding day. Emotions were high and my mind was going a million times an hour (as can be expected on your wedding day!) but thankfully worrying about the dogs was not one of them thanks to Daria. I have never put my dog into kennels or ever used a sitter before, but rover was recommended to us by a family friend. Daria was amazing! She came to the house the day before to meet the dogs and go over their routine. We had great communication from Daria through out her visits and pictures which put my mind at ease and allowed me to really enjoy our day. As always, Daria was the best at House sitting for our cat Joy for one week. She took care of every detail and created a very good space for Joy, providing us with great updates and ensuring the place is tidy before leaving. Made a huge difference to our holiday, knowing Joy is not alone and seeing the awesome pictures from Daria with Joy getting more and more cuddly. Can’t recommend her more! ❤️
