About: I have looked after dogs, cats, lizards, and rodents since I was younger, we would often pet-sit for friends and family in my childhood home. As a child I have kept many pets including cats that I leash trained! This has given me a lot of experience - especially from my aunt who has 9 dogs! I am currently studying at UoA for a degree in Animal Behaviour, I would love to specialise in pets so having the chance to care for more animals will be great for my degree If you need me Monday or Tuesday please drop me a message as I am happy to walk/drop in during my lunch break if you live near UoA. I work a part time contract with flexible hours and study full time, however I am often free in the mornings and evenings on weekdays. With enough notice (a couple of weeks) I can make myself available on a weekend. When at an owners home I like to interact with the pet through play or cuddles/strokes- unless told otherwise. I am happy to clean up pet messes and feed your pets based on owner preference.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have had over 5 dogs growing up, so being around them has always been a big part of my life. I now have my own pup, Bella, so I’m used to daily routines, walks, playtime, and making sure dogs feel happy, safe, and comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re my own and create a calm, loving environment for them. I am unemployed and study online, so I’m able to give dogs my full time, attention, and care. I cater to every dog’s needs, big or small! I have a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time. I also have my own small pup, Bella, who is an angel with other dogs. All interactions are supervised, and I can keep dogs completely separate if preferred.

About: I have loved and been around dogs my whole life, growing up with dogs of my own and caring for many different breeds, ages and personalities over the years. I understand that dogs thrive with structure, routine and trust. As every dog is different, I know that some may be food-oriented, some more toy-oriented, and others may need patience, compassion and reassurance. I house-sat for a family friend for 2 weeks, caring for their 10 dogs and making sure each one received attention, exercise, and care that they needed. I have also cared for another friend's 2 dogs (alongside their 3 cats) while house-sitting, following their usual routines, making sure they got their medications, and making sure they felt happy and secure while their owner was away. Additionally, my own dog suffered from a slipped disc and had to undergo surgery, during her period of rehabilitation I, alongside my mum, gave her medications to make sure she was comfortable. She was able to be walked in a full-body-weight support harness, with me supporting her entire body weight to avoid putting too much strain on her back when taking her out to do the toilet. In addition, I performed her physiotherapy exercises, instructed by the vet, multiple times a day to ensure her swift recovery. Now, 3 years later, she is fully healed and as happy and comfortable as ever. From these experiences, I understand the importance of noticing changes in your dog's behaviour and health. Having had dogs throughout my life, I will always treat every dog in my care with the same love, respect and attention I would give my own. Currently, I have just finished my university degree, so I have an abundance of free time. I will be looking for and applying to some part-time jobs, so my availability may change. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter trays, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them, making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Having cared for cats and dogs of different ages and personalities, from kittens and puppies to a senior cat with additional care needs, as well as my dog recovering from spinal surgery, I understand the importance of monitoring their well-being and recognising when something may be wrong. I am very comfortable following specific instructions for pets with unique routines or requirements. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment, so I always treat both the pets and the owners' home with respect. I also provide regular updates and photos, giving owners peace of mind while they are away.

About: Dogs are a non-negotiable part of my life, I take every opportunity I can to say hello to every dog I meet. Since moving to Aberdeen to study dentistry, I have been renting and as such am unable to have a pet of my own. I spend time with my friends’ pets when I can and sometimes pet sit when she’s out of town. I like to run on the beach because people always have their dogs out and it makes my day when they come up and say hi to me. At home in Ireland, I have 2 Jack Russells, Sasha and Banjo, and have lived with a golden retriever in Australia for a year (Thelma). All of my friends have dogs including a three-legged rescue named Colin. Since moving here, I’ve really missed having dogs around and think that helping to walk or pet-sit would fill that void for me. I am a dental student who works part-time so I have a lot of free time through the week. I’m fully available early mornings, lunch times, and evenings. Depending on my clinical schedule, I will also have full afternoons available. I will tailor walks to your preference. I can walk roads, parks, estates, or even just play with them in your garden. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and as a student who is renting, taking care of your pets would be a great opportunity for me to be around dogs. I will gladly take photos and videos to keep you updated with how your pet is doing also, and I’m more than happy to fit my visits around their preferences.

About: Ive grown up constantly being around animals and pets of my own as well as of friends and family. Ive been a reliable dog walker since childhood and feel confident and comfortable around all animals with all personalities!! Currently a student, very minimal hours out of house during the week, part time working on weekends but always trying to get out for a dog walk! My flat is pet friendly and with no other animals around there is no worry of conflicts. I don't currently have an outdoor space but am a short walk from the beach and local parks! When out on walks I always keep a close eye and maintain confident leash control.

About: All my life I have been sarounded by dogs so they have always be in a place in my heart so I can't wait to help walk your furry friends I am available from Monday to Friday but dates might change as I am a college student, dates and times will change on the schedule so please keep and eye out At home I have a cat and a dog, and all of my life I have been sarounded by animals and see them not only as a pet but a family member that deserves to be loved and respected.

About: Hello, I’m Karen, and I’ve had the pleasure of being around dogs for 16 years, including caring for two beloved family dogs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and have plenty of experience with walking, playing, and providing attentive care. As there are no children in my home, there’s no need to worry if your dog isn’t comfortable around kids—your dog’s needs and well-being will always be my priority. I also have a secure outdoor space for dogs to enjoy, or I can take your dog for walks in a nearby park. I’m looking forward to finding a wonderful dog to accompany me on walks and for some great companionship. Owners rules are rules and I will adhere to these. Having lost one of my own family dogs in 2022, I recognise that elderly dogs will require specific care than younger dogs, I did care for my eldest dog for 2 weeks. Your dog will not be left alone in my care. I currently live in a flat however I do have a shared garden and access to a nearby park for dogs to run around in. I have no children so your dog will definitely be the priority for lots of cuddles.

About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.

About: I’ve spent my entire life around dogs and cats, and I am confident with all breeds and sizes. I spent my childhood walking neighbours dogs, before starting to pet sit in my teen years. I currently have a kitten, and spend lots of time with my partners family dogs. I’m currently studying online and not working, so I am incredibly flexible and can walk or check in on pets at any time of the day! I can easily adapt to any pets individual needs, including garden play time, long or short walks, or anything else your pet could possibly need.

About: Since I was 5 I have always had pets, mostly dogs but more recently cats and rabbits. I have my own dog who is 2 and I have toilet and crate trained her. I have trained Lola a lot of skills and now she is in a constant routine I am a staff nurse in ARI so I work on a shift work so this changes weekly, I can’t always guarantee the same days but always have available days My flat is set up for my pup who is friendly and loves when my friends pups are around to have a play. I have Lola’s travel crate so I can easily help with crate training when I have your pup to stay

About: I have 10+ years experience of animal care, especially cats & dogs! Ranging from kittens to senior cats and puppies to senior dogs. Regular potty breaks, feeding to a schedule, bathing , walking and playing are all part of the job! I'm fairly active on my walks and have lots of trail knowledge in my area for those energetic doggies. I can also accommodate for senior dogs who still need an outing to get all the sniffs. I am fully flexible, dog and cat sitting is my priority at the moment. Available for boarding over the weekends too. I am quite active and enjoy spending time in nature, so being able to keep that routine for myself and also providing my services would be ideal. I am respectful of my surroundings, especially in another persons home. I'm also respectful of neighbours and am a friendly person. I find pets are usually more comfortable in their own environment/home. I like to observe the little things like their favourite place to lay and sleep, where they like to watch from the windows and so on. I find this helps with getting to know your pet and see what their everyday routine consists of besides their basic needs.

About: I have taken care of my family dog for my whole life and other peoples cats and dogs I love spending time with animals I grew up on a far and I am used to taking care of animals. I have taken care of younger and older dogs. I am currently on summer break from university and I will have plenty of time to play with and exercise your pets. I am available from 2:30pm. I have no pets and live with my sister so there is plenty of attention to go round for you pet.i love being outside so your your pet will get plenty of exercise.
