Faye can be a little shy with new people, but she warmed up to Leony almost instantly, a true sign of how calm and caring she is. When I got home, Faye was happy, healthy, and clearly very well looked after. The flat was spotless, her food and litter were exactly as they should be, and it was clear she’d been given plenty of love and attention.”

About: I've grown up in a family that has always loved dogs, so caring for them has been a natural part of my life from a young age. I truly enjoy being around dogs and understand the love, attention, and patience they need to thrive. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to the dogs in my care. From September 2026, I will be attending campus three days a week during term time, with my timetable to be confirmed. I will always ensure your dog receives the attention, exercise, companionship, and routine they need to feel happy and settled. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighbourhood and provide a calm, child-free and cat-free environment. My home is kept clean and secure to minimise hazards, and I have a large crate available if required. I take the time to understand each dog's individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout their stay.

About: i’ve been cat sitting for other families since I was 16 and I have had many cats in my own family all throughout my life. I have always been the crazy cat lady in my family and I absolutely adore my little cuddly kitties. I have always been asked by neighbours and family friends to look after their cats while they have been on vacation and I love doing it! I am very experienced with all types of cats whether they are social or a little more reserved. I have also done a three week internship in a cattery when I was 16 so am confident when giving medicine and cleaning cats. I am able to see cats every day in my weekly routine. If you require me to spend more than one 1-hour visit a day with you cat then just reach out and I will see what my schedule is like! I am always very careful to open doors when first entering your home, just in case your little one is waiting to come out. I will always go slowly and gently with your cat at first and let them know that they are in charge of how the pet care is going to be. I always want your cats to trust me, however I understand that some cats are too timid and do not want to speak and that is perfectly fine.

About: I’ve looked after my dog since she was a puppy in 2015. I hold most responsibility over her, feeding and walking her. I love playing with her and giving her the attention she deserves. I also own many fish that i feed multiple times a day and love them to bits ! I’m currently a university student so have quite a free schedule !!! I typically go to university for a few hours a day a week and some days i have nothing, so am quite available to anything I live in a flat, with a shared garden, which goes mainly unused by the other residents, it is fenced off from other gardens. I’m typically a clean person so if any accidents occur such as having an accident on the carpet or floor, it’s not a bother to clean up no worries !

About: I’ve owned and cared for two dogs over the past 10 years, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, feeding, walking, and giving lots of attention and care. I’ve also house sat and dog sat for friends and family, caring for pets in their own homes and making sure they stay comfortable in their usual routine. In addition, I’ve volunteered and helped host fundraisers for my local animal shelter, which has given me even more experience around different dogs and personalities. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels, and I understand how to read their behaviour to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Being away from my own dogs while studying abroad has made me miss that companionship, which is why I genuinely love spending time with animals and treating them like my own. I’m currently an international student from Canada completing my bachelor’s degree, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins during both weekdays and weekends, and I’m able to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I’m currently unable to host pets in my own home as I’m living in student accommodation, but I’m very comfortable caring for pets in their own home where they feel most relaxed and secure. I always follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any specific instructions you provide. I take safety seriously on walks, ensuring dogs are always securely leashed (unless instructed otherwise) and in safe environments. I treat every home with respect and always aim to create a calm, positive experience for your pet.

About: I’ve spent my entire life around dogs and cats, and I am confident with all breeds and sizes. I spent my childhood walking neighbours dogs, before starting to pet sit in my teen years. I currently have a kitten, and spend lots of time with my partners family dogs. I’m currently studying online and not working, so I am incredibly flexible and can walk or check in on pets at any time of the day! I can easily adapt to any pets individual needs, including garden play time, long or short walks, or anything else your pet could possibly need.

About: I have loved and been around dogs my whole life, growing up with dogs of my own and caring for many different breeds, ages and personalities over the years. I understand that dogs thrive with structure, routine and trust. As every dog is different, I know that some may be food-oriented, some more toy-oriented, and others may need patience, compassion and reassurance. I house-sat for a family friend for 2 weeks, caring for their 10 dogs and making sure each one received attention, exercise, and care that they needed. I have also cared for another friend's 2 dogs (alongside their 3 cats) while house-sitting, following their usual routines, making sure they got their medications, and making sure they felt happy and secure while their owner was away. Additionally, my own dog suffered from a slipped disc and had to undergo surgery, during her period of rehabilitation I, alongside my mum, gave her medications to make sure she was comfortable. She was able to be walked in a full-body-weight support harness, with me supporting her entire body weight to avoid putting too much strain on her back when taking her out to do the toilet. In addition, I performed her physiotherapy exercises, instructed by the vet, multiple times a day to ensure her swift recovery. Now, 3 years later, she is fully healed and as happy and comfortable as ever. From these experiences, I understand the importance of noticing changes in your dog's behaviour and health. Having had dogs throughout my life, I will always treat every dog in my care with the same love, respect and attention I would give my own. Currently, I have just finished my university degree, so I have an abundance of free time. I will be looking for and applying to some part-time jobs, so my availability may change. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter trays, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them, making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Having cared for cats and dogs of different ages and personalities, from kittens and puppies to a senior cat with additional care needs, as well as my dog recovering from spinal surgery, I understand the importance of monitoring their well-being and recognising when something may be wrong. I am very comfortable following specific instructions for pets with unique routines or requirements. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment, so I always treat both the pets and the owners' home with respect. I also provide regular updates and photos, giving owners peace of mind while they are away.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I’m now 22 and currently have two dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and patience pets need every day. I’ve grown up caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large breeds, and I also have experience caring for litters of kittens, small animals, birds, and reptiles. Over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their pets while they’re away, giving me experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m especially patient with shy or nervous pets and always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Animals truly are my passion, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with reactive dogs, just let me know in advance so we can plan around it. I am constantly trying to better myself with online CPD courses on dog training, behaviour and canine communication. Fully insured and looking forward to meeting my new best friends❤️ I am currently working full time, however most of my shifts finish around 12:30/1:30pm, so I have the time for my new besties. All walks and drop in visits will be carefully planned and fitted into the schedule. Please let me know your preferences on dealing with your pets as I would like to honour them. I have a car with back seat cover, hopefully will be able to upgrade to a van soon. I will make sure to check all doors and windows are closed and locked upon leaving.

About: Dogs are a non-negotiable part of my life, I take every opportunity I can to say hello to every dog I meet. Since moving to Aberdeen to study dentistry, I have been renting and as such am unable to have a pet of my own. I spend time with my friends’ pets when I can and sometimes pet sit when she’s out of town. I like to run on the beach because people always have their dogs out and it makes my day when they come up and say hi to me. At home in Ireland, I have 2 Jack Russells, Sasha and Banjo, and have lived with a golden retriever in Australia for a year (Thelma). All of my friends have dogs including a three-legged rescue named Colin. Since moving here, I’ve really missed having dogs around and think that helping to walk or pet-sit would fill that void for me. I am a dental student who works part-time so I have a lot of free time through the week. I’m fully available early mornings, lunch times, and evenings. Depending on my clinical schedule, I will also have full afternoons available. I will tailor walks to your preference. I can walk roads, parks, estates, or even just play with them in your garden. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and as a student who is renting, taking care of your pets would be a great opportunity for me to be around dogs. I will gladly take photos and videos to keep you updated with how your pet is doing also, and I’m more than happy to fit my visits around their preferences.
