About: I grow up with dogs and other small animals. My current pets are my dog Lily and my two guinea pigs Mini & Bella. We also have two more dogs in our family who we occasionally take care of. I work in healthcare 3 days a week. The other days Im happy to take care of your pet along with my dog Lily who will love to be yours and your dog best friend. I have fenced garden. About: I currently study at Aberdeen university and I would like to devote my spare time to animals and pet owners that need a little help, I love animals, and helping around in general, and it would be great to interact with pets as currently I can't have my own. I only have 8 h lectures per week, so I available most of the times till December probably, when I leave for work to England. About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.

About: I’ve looked after my dog since she was a puppy in 2015. I hold most responsibility over her, feeding and walking her. I love playing with her and giving her the attention she deserves. I also own many fish that i feed multiple times a day and love them to bits ! I’m currently a university student so have quite a free schedule !!! About: I have loved and been around dogs my whole life, growing up with dogs of my own and caring for many different breeds, ages and personalities over the years. I understand that dogs thrive with structure, routine and trust. As every dog is different, I know that some may be food-oriented, some more toy-oriented, and others may need patience, compassion and reassurance. I house-sat for a family friend for 2 weeks, caring for their 10 dogs and making sure each one received attention, exercise, and care that they needed. I have also cared for another friend's 2 dogs (alongside their 3 cats) while house-sitting, following their usual routines, making sure they got their medications, and making sure they felt happy and secure while their owner was away. Additionally, my own dog suffered from a slipped disc and had to undergo surgery, during her period of rehabilitation I, alongside my mum, gave her medications to make sure she was comfortable. She was able to be walked in a full-body-weight support harness, with me supporting her entire body weight to avoid putting too much strain on her back when taking her out to do the toilet. In addition, I performed her physiotherapy exercises, instructed by the vet, multiple times a day to ensure her swift recovery. Now, 3 years later, she is fully healed and as happy and comfortable as ever. From these experiences, I understand the importance of noticing changes in your dog's behaviour and health. Having had dogs throughout my life, I will always treat every dog in my care with the same love, respect and attention I would give my own. Currently, I have just finished my university degree, so I have an abundance of free time. I will be looking for and applying to some part-time jobs, so my availability may change. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter trays, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them, making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Having cared for cats and dogs of different ages and personalities, from kittens and puppies to a senior cat with additional care needs, as well as my dog recovering from spinal surgery, I understand the importance of monitoring their well-being and recognising when something may be wrong. I am very comfortable following specific instructions for pets with unique routines or requirements. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment, so I always treat both the pets and the owners' home with respect. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, I always had a dog until 2019 when my sweet Rocky passed away of old age. As of 2025, I have taken care of: labradors, pomeranians, chihuahuas, chow chows, poodles, bulldogs, hounds (standard and saluki), daschunds, spaniels (cocker and english springer), cockapoos, labrapoos and terrier (yorkie, jack russell, scottish). I had cats (domestic longhair) when I was a teen and I know everything about them, also cared for stray kittens while I found them a forever home. I don’t have allergies. Right now, I don’t have a pet because I am fully committed to pet sitting but my husband and I consider our neighbor’s cat as ours lol! I work from home so your lovely pet will have all my attention! I don’t have children or other big responsibilities at the moment. I was a lawyer in my home country so I’m very organized and reliable. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! Growing up, my family had two wonderful dogs, Jazz and Charly. My parents also regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, since they worked from home and could give them plenty of walks, playtime, and relaxation. Being raised in this environment taught me the importance of caring for animals with love, consistency, and presence. It also showed me just how much better life is with animals around! In addition to dogs, I also have a horse named Lincoln, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments from energetic puppies to senior dogs as well as experience with horses and donkeys. Sadly, we lost our beloved dog Charly last August. Since then, I’ve moved from Canada to Scotland to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. While it’s been an incredible adventure, I’ve deeply missed having animals in my daily life. About: Since I was 5 I have always had pets, mostly dogs but more recently cats and rabbits. I have my own dog who is 2 and I have toilet and crate trained her. I have trained Lola a lot of skills and now she is in a constant routine I am a staff nurse in ARI so I work on a shift work so this changes weekly, I can’t always guarantee the same days but always have available days My flat is set up for my pup who is friendly and loves when my friends pups are around to have a play. I have Lola’s travel crate so I can easily help with crate training when I have your pup to stay

About: I have dog sat as a teenager for family friends and now in my adult life I have previously lived with a very nervous rescue dog who needed lots of extra care and attention and have lived with 3 energetic border collies in my last relationship. They were crate trained, 2 F and 1 neutered M. I have had cats, hamsters, dogs, geckos, fish, a python and a bearded dragon!
