About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of a sweet 16-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, so caring for pets is second nature to me. Over the last 16 years, I’ve learned patience, attention, routine, affection, and became someone who truly notices a pet with their personalities, habits and moods. I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog. Whether your pup is energetic and playful, anxious and shy, or older and needing a gentler pace, I always adapt my care to their personality and needs. Living with a senior Yorkie has taught me to be especially mindful of safety, comfort, medication routines, slower walks, and giving pets emotional reassurance when they need it. know how important updates are, so you can expect regular photos, messages, and peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I am working full time with an hour lunchbreak, so am available mid day, evenings and weekends to give your pet all the attention they desire. I am happy to walk, check on your pet and give the attention each pet deserves. The service would be adapted to your instructions, pets' needs and schedule.

“Kayleigh and her lovely family were absolutely amazing with our little guy, Cosmo! From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in safe and loving hands. We received regular updates and the most adorable photos all weekend. It was clear Cosmo was being completely spoiled and loved just like one of their own. Kayleigh’s care, kindness and attention to detail were incredible, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you so much for looking after him so beautifully!”

“This was the first time we’ve ever used home boarding for Holly but it won’t be the last. I can only but thank Eury and her family for looking after Holly so well. It’s clear she had a fantastic time from the photos Eury sent during the 2 weeks and I can’t recommend Eury highly enough and Holly will definitely be back again… thanks Eury.”

“Evelyn took the best care of my little kitty, and on such short notice too. She was really good at providing updates throughout my pets' stay with her and made sure my little guy enjoyed himself. Couldn't ask for a better pet sitter :)”

About: I’ve grown up in a household full of cats and have been surrounded by them for most of my life. My mum is a real cat lover, and at one point we had seven cats living in our home, so I’m very comfortable caring for multiple cats with different personalities and needs. Through this experience, I’ve learned to recognise feline body language, understand when cats want attention and playtime, and when they prefer their own space. I’m confident with feeding routines, cleaning litter trays, providing companionship, and making sure cats feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I understand that every cat is different, from playful and sociable cats to those who are more shy or independent, and I always adapt my approach to suit their needs. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with cats, ensuring they receive plenty of care, attention, and affection while their owners are away.

About: I’ve had family cats since childhood and now as an adult I’ve had 3. My current fur son Henry is predominantly outdoor however he was previously full time indoors, I have had to administer cats medication previously. I am used to cuddly cats, cats who hate being touched, cats who it is entirely on their terms! I loveeee cats!
“100% would recommend Sarah! She stayed in our home to look after our two cats. We were kept up to date with regular updates and pictures. We could tell the cats were being well looked after and were enjoying their time with Sarah which was lovely and put us at ease! ☺️ thanks for taking such good care of our princesses!”

“Caitlin comes once a week to drop in on my puppy while I’m at uni. She has took the time to get him comfortable as he is a nervous puppy and is able to settle him while he is currently getting used to being alone. Definitely recommend ☺️”

“Vilte provided an excellent service and was very accommodating to our needs, including late notice and unsure of daily timings. A meeting prior to leaving Blue was positive, and we were kept up to date during Blue’s stays. Highly recommended.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have had over 5 dogs growing up, so being around them has always been a big part of my life. I now have my own pup, Bella, so I’m used to daily routines, walks, playtime, and making sure dogs feel happy, safe, and comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re my own and create a calm, loving environment for them. I am unemployed and study online, so I’m able to give dogs my full time, attention, and care. I cater to every dog’s needs, big or small! I have a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time. I also have my own small pup, Bella, who is an angel with other dogs. All interactions are supervised, and I can keep dogs completely separate if preferred.
“ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC - I couldn't be anymore thankful for Zhi and his family. The attention to detail and care given to Minnie was above and beyond for what I expected. For someone who has bad anxiety about leaving their dog, I felt a lot of comfort and security with Zhi. His strong communication skills and love for Minnie was certainly seen. I have recommend Zhi to friends due to the exceptional care they gave Minnie. Thank you Zhi - I will be forever in debt to you!!”

About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.
“So very happy to have found Shaimaa to take care of Baloo during our trip to Aberdeen! She accepted an incredibly short notice request when another arrangement fell through, and was such a fabulous sitter for him. Shaimaa sent reassuring video clips, photos and messages, so we knew that Baloo was in great hands and having a super time. Baloo responded incredibly positively to her calm, caring and positive approach. He had lots of fun, great walks and plenty cuddles. We highly recommend Shaimaa if you're based in, or travelling to, Aberdeen. What an excellent experience she provided, which meant that we could relax and make the most of the events that brought us to Aberdeen, without worrying about the wellbeing of our lovely dog. Thank you so much!”

“Jane was so welcoming to both Murphy and myself. She obligingly helped out with a last minute dog sitting. Even though Murphy is very anxious and barky at the moment, she made him feel safe and loved, even if it was just for a few hours! Thank you Jane! Hope to see you again soon !??”

“Virgil had a great time with Sarah, Glen and family. They were really great at following our guidance for Virgil given that he's young and still needs things like planned naps. The photos they sent through were so lovely, we knew what he was up and that he was happy. He seemed really happy and chilled there!”

About: I have dog sat as a teenager for family friends and now in my adult life I have previously lived with a very nervous rescue dog who needed lots of extra care and attention and have lived with 3 energetic border collies in my last relationship. They were crate trained, 2 F and 1 neutered M. I have had cats, hamsters, dogs, geckos, fish, a python and a bearded dragon! I LOVE all animals and now that I’m at a point of not living in a home with any pets I am really excited to help take care of your little furry family members :) I have experience with reactive dogs and am happy to help with any specific needs your dog has/take into consideration anything that needs to be avoided. I have gave plenty of medications to dogs young and old in different forms, no formal training however I have done it many times and feel confident doing it. I work partially in an office 8-4 and one day a week from home, I am off every weekend. I’d love to spend the spare alone time I have helping other peoples pets :) I have a fenced garden, have no pets currently. I am happy to care for pets in your home or mine. About: Hi, My name is Diana and I love cats and everything about them. I am currently a student, and miss my cat dearly. I would like to help other people to take care of their cats. I am reliable, responsible, friendly, and love taking care of animals.

About: I have loved and been around dogs my whole life, growing up with dogs of my own and caring for many different breeds, ages and personalities over the years. I understand that dogs thrive with structure, routine and trust. As every dog is different, I know that some may be food-oriented, some more toy-oriented, and others may need patience, compassion and reassurance. I house-sat for a family friend for 2 weeks, caring for their 10 dogs and making sure each one received attention, exercise, and care that they needed. I have also cared for another friend's 2 dogs (alongside their 3 cats) while house-sitting, following their usual routines, making sure they got their medications, and making sure they felt happy and secure while their owner was away. Additionally, my own dog suffered from a slipped disc and had to undergo surgery, during her period of rehabilitation I, alongside my mum, gave her medications to make sure she was comfortable. She was able to be walked in a full-body-weight support harness, with me supporting her entire body weight to avoid putting too much strain on her back when taking her out to do the toilet. In addition, I performed her physiotherapy exercises, instructed by the vet, multiple times a day to ensure her swift recovery. Now, 3 years later, she is fully healed and as happy and comfortable as ever. From these experiences, I understand the importance of noticing changes in your dog's behaviour and health. Having had dogs throughout my life, I will always treat every dog in my care with the same love, respect and attention I would give my own. Currently, I have just finished my university degree, so I have an abundance of free time. I will be looking for and applying to some part-time jobs, so my availability may change. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter trays, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them, making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Having cared for cats and dogs of different ages and personalities, from kittens and puppies to a senior cat with additional care needs, as well as my dog recovering from spinal surgery, I understand the importance of monitoring their well-being and recognising when something may be wrong. I am very comfortable following specific instructions for pets with unique routines or requirements. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment, so I always treat both the pets and the owners' home with respect. I also provide regular updates and photos, giving owners peace of mind while they are away.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since childhood, and have over 10 years of experience walking, bathing, feeding, and sitting for neighbors’ pets. I have a rescue dog and cat of my own back in Canada, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, and love. Whether it’s energetic pups, senior dogs, or shy rescues, I ensure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. ❤️ As a full-time student, I’m available on weekends and some weekdays (mainly Wednesdays and Fridays). I’d love to go on walks and can pet sit in your home when needed! I provide care in your home to keep your pet comfortable in their familiar space. I respect your home, follow all care instructions, and ensure a clean, safe environment. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or companionship, I’ll give your pet the attention they deserve 😊
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, I always had a dog until 2019 when my sweet Rocky passed away of old age. As of 2025, I have taken care of: labradors, pomeranians, chihuahuas, chow chows, poodles, bulldogs, hounds (standard and saluki), daschunds, spaniels (cocker and english springer), cockapoos, labrapoos and terrier (yorkie, jack russell, scottish). I had cats (domestic longhair) when I was a teen and I know everything about them, also cared for stray kittens while I found them a forever home. I don’t have allergies. Right now, I don’t have a pet because I am fully committed to pet sitting but my husband and I consider our neighbor’s cat as ours lol! I work from home so your lovely pet will have all my attention! I don’t have children or other big responsibilities at the moment. I was a lawyer in my home country so I’m very organized and reliable. I will follow the pet’s routine as instructed by their owner and adapt my home to follow the routine as close as possible, keeping everything neat and danger free for the pet.
“Thank you Emma for the short notice booking! Paddy had a wonderful time and was a very tired boy. Thanks Emma for being super communicative and accommodating. Will be booking again!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! Growing up, my family had two wonderful dogs, Jazz and Charly. My parents also regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, since they worked from home and could give them plenty of walks, playtime, and relaxation. Being raised in this environment taught me the importance of caring for animals with love, consistency, and presence. It also showed me just how much better life is with animals around! In addition to dogs, I also have a horse named Lincoln, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments from energetic puppies to senior dogs as well as experience with horses and donkeys. Sadly, we lost our beloved dog Charly last August. Since then, I’ve moved from Canada to Scotland to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. While it’s been an incredible adventure, I’ve deeply missed having animals in my daily life. That’s why I joined Rover to spend time with amazing pets and help give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are safe, happy, and well-cared-for while they’re away. Rover also helps me support my education and living expenses during school. But most importantly, it gives me the opportunity to do something I genuinely love: spending time with animals and meeting wonderful people along the way. Pet care fits perfectly into my current schedule. I have the most availability on Wednesdays and weekends, which gives me dedicated time to focus on caring for pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or check-ins, or anything they may need. When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, I always aim to follow their regular routine as closely as possible from feeding schedules and walk times to play and cuddle time! I take note of any specific instructions or preferences, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also keep the home tidy and send regular updates so owners know everything is going smoothly. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure the space is safe, calm, and welcoming. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and always ensure pets have a cozy place to relax. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family while they’re in my care

“My 2 chihuahuas had a wonderful experience staying with Jane, I thoroughly recommend her. She has a lovely calm and kind personality which was great for my 2 nervous boys, they were very reassured in her presence. She was also very flexible when working with me on a change of dates which I really appreciated.”

“Emma and her husband were really helpful in accommodating a last-minute booking, which I truly appreciated. They were friendly, welcomed me into their home, and showed me where Ellie would be staying, which was reassuring. They also responded to my messages and kept in touch when I asked for updates, which made me feel more comfortable while Ellie was with them.”

“Ellie put up with my overload of messages asking how my baby was and sent me video after video, letting me know exactly how she was doing when I needed it, I would definitely recommend, such a calm environment x”
About: I've grown up in a family that has always loved dogs, so caring for them has been a natural part of my life from a young age. I truly enjoy being around dogs and understand the love, attention, and patience they need to thrive. As a dog owner myself, I have hands-on experience with daily care, exercise, enrichment, and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I'm currently completing additional training to further develop my knowledge and skills, allowing me to provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to ensure that both you and your dog feel comfortable, supported, and confident while in my care. I will always take the time to understand your dog's routine, preferences, and needs so that both you and your furry friend have the best possible experience. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to the dogs in my care. From September 2026, I will be attending campus three days a week during term time, with my timetable to be confirmed. I will always ensure your dog receives the attention, exercise, companionship, and routine they need to feel happy and settled. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighbourhood and provide a calm, child-free and cat-free environment. My home is kept clean and secure to minimise hazards, and I have a large crate available if required. I take the time to understand each dog's individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout their stay.
“Glen and Sarah were lovely and provided day care at short notice, so I could attend a funeral. Our dog, Stan, isn't used to being away from us but he was welcomed by Sarah and family plus their own 2 dogs. They had a great outdoor space which was entirely secure. Sarah sent photos of Stan which were welcomed. We would happily recommend Glen and Sarah. Many thanks.”

“Angela was great with Peppa and Darcy is such a lovely calm, accepting gentleman. Peppa came back calm, happy and seemed like she had a great time. Angela and her family accepted Peppa like their own and followed the care instructions given. I knew I didn’t have to worry about Peppa receiving the best care and attention which helped us enjoy our time away better. Will definitely book again.”

“Rodger is a gentleman....calm and kind in himself. Teddy settled instantly with Rodger and had a good time. Rodger kept up his commands/obedience training. Rodger has lots of experience with dogs and knows how to put the owner at peace. Lovely lad! I will def be booking Rodger again ....many thanks Rodger. Think Teddy is missing you. He was a tad restless yesterday you must have the magic touch ?”

“Evelyn took the best care of my little kitty, and on such short notice too. She was really good at providing updates throughout my pets' stay with her and made sure my little guy enjoyed himself. Couldn't ask for a better pet sitter :)”

“Shaimaa was a wonderful host for Tina! She took great care of her. We felt so safe and reassured that she'd be taken well care of in her lovely flat. Tina even took part in a yoga class! Can't recommend enough! Thank you and appreciate your help.”

“Zoe is so lovely and took such good care of our boy when we needed a dog-sitter unexpectedly. Not only that, but we have a terrier who takes time to get to know people before being friendly and he took an immediate like to Zoe. That, to me, is the best praise there could be”

Check ins, overnights etc.
“Honestly cannot praise Eilidh enough! From the minute she had my girls she kept us updated and sent us photos. Lola and Zara quite possibly had a better holiday than us! We 1000% recommend Eilidh for dog sitting. She provides a happy home away from home for your dogs and has two very friendly dogs of her own who quickly accepted my two into their pack. I think Lola is missing her posse already! Thank you so so much.”

“Jack did a great job looking after our crazy young Cocker Spaniel at short notice, though I think he was very glad to hand him back! Thanks for taking good care of him. He was also very accommodating of our last-minute change of times, and that was very much appreciated.”
