“I cannot recommend Celeste highly enough. From the moment we first met, she was warm, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. It was clear straight away how much she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she looks after. Daisy had a wonderful stay and was treated like one of the family, with plenty of walks, attention and affection. It was so reassuring to receive regular updates, along with photos and videos, which showed just how happy and settled Daisy was. Knowing that Daisy was in such caring and capable hands gave me complete peace of mind. I would not hesitate to leave Daisy with Celeste again and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy and dedicated dog sitter.”

“Jemma was absolutely fantastic looking after Ellie over the weekend. This was our first time booking with her, and she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring from start to finish. She was able to take Ellie in on quite short notice, which we really appreciated, and she was quick to respond to all of my questions both before and after the booking. Throughout Ellie’s stay, Jemma went above and beyond with updates. She sent loads of photos without me even needing to ask, which gave me real peace of mind and made it clear Ellie was happy and well cared for. Jemma also took Ellie out to cafés and introduced her to some friendly doggy companions, always checking with me beforehand to make sure I was comfortable with it. I really appreciated that level of communication and consideration. Most importantly, Ellie came back happy and relaxed, which says everything. I will definitely be rebooking Jemma again without hesitation and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, always having two at home and regularly helping care for other families’ dogs. I’m comfortable with all types—from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a bit more patience. I have experience with walking, feeding, and basic training reinforcement, and I always aim to keep dogs calm, safe, and well looked after. I’m active and enjoy being outdoors, so I’m happy to match your dog’s energy level. I treat every dog like my own and will always follow your routines and care instructions closely. As a PhD student, I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time working from home, which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, and care. I’m already out walking multiple times a day, so I’m happy to include your dog in those walks and tailor activity to their needs. I can be flexible with timing and routines, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I always aim to provide a calm, safe, and consistent environment for every dog. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, preferences, and any specific instructions, and I stick to those closely. On walks, I stay attentive and avoid unnecessary risks, keeping dogs on lead unless otherwise agreed. At home, I make sure they’re comfortable, supervised, and settled, with plenty of attention and care. I’m respectful of owners’ homes, keep things clean and secure, and provide updates so you know your dog is in good hands.

“Our dog, Storm was treated really well, getting lots of treats and toys, taken out for walks and given plenty attention. He was well taken care of, and we got plenty photos and videos, which kept us updated and we enjoyed seeing them. When our Storm was slightly sick, Ellie was really worried and contacted us immediately, and once we got photos of it, we could quickly reassure her that it was nothing to be worried about. And we were really grateful for Ellie’s care and attention for Storm. We would happily book her again.”

“Kayleigh and family looked after Rufus for 3 weeks in July. They took exceptionally good care of Rufus so we were very happy and will definitely use Kayleigh again. - Plenty of walks and excercise - Nice house and garden in a nice area, so we knew Rufus would be safe and secure - They have a small dog who was a good companion for Rufus - Socialising with other dogs, which was good for Rufus - Daily updates with lots of photos gave peace of mind”

“Bruna was excellent with our wee guy. It was our first time leaving him with a sitter so we were a little apprehensive at first but she made us feel really comfortable. Storr was really nervous staying but Bruna was really patient with him. He had a few little incidents through the week but she was really understanding. We can't thank her enough for the time she spent with our boy.”

About: Hi! I'm Morgan, a medical student who absolutely loves dogs and understands how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, having 4 dogs ranging from border collies to Anatolian shepherds and working in my parents doggy daycare in Glasgow before moving for uni, means I’m prepared to handle all sizes of four legged friends! I'm responsible, patient, and organised, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As a medical student, I'm used to paying close attention to detail, following routines, and staying calm in different situations. I'll happily stick to your dog's usual schedule, including feeding times, medication (if required), walks, and bedtime routines. I know every dog has their own personality, so I'll take the time to get to know what makes your dog happiest. My goal is for them to feel as relaxed with me as they do at home. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend! I’m currently at university of Aberdeen most days from 9-5 but am willing to dog sit or do let outs Monday-Friday anytime outside these hours as well as dog sitting on weekends. I live in a ground floor flat with a back garden and I live around a 10 minute walk away from 2 different parks. I currently have no pets in the flat and live alone meaning my full attention will be on your pet! I cannot drive but have no issue with longer walks if that’s what your pet requires. I also have no issue with pets being on the furniture if that’s what they are used to in your home
“Haley was amazing! Her communication before and during Steely’s stay was excellent and she was keen to find out as many details about Steely as possible. She kept us updated with photos and videos and it was evident Steely had a wonderful time! Thanks so much Haley!”

“Emma and Rivers were amazing with Broxi. They helped us out last minute and I felt good knowing he was going to be looked after well. They were really appreciative of the fact that he can’t really be left alone and were able to facilitate that with their schedules. He had a lovely time and we got updates as needed. Thank you both again.”

“Zoe was great while Ellie was boarding with her for two nights over a weekend. She was excellent with communication from the start, and was also very accommodating when we needed to adjust our drop-off and pick-up times. During Ellie's stay, we received plenty of photos and updates, and was well looked after. We'd definitely recommend Zoe to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter, and will be booking Ellie with her again.”

“Manny and bez had a 3 night stay with Eury and her family. It was the first time they have left me this long and Eury was brilliant at putting my mind at ease. Always updated with photos. “Glen and Sarah are fabulous and such lovely people! We booked our puppy Kaos in for a 2 night stay as we had an event to attend and it looked like he had the best time! Glen and Sarah always sent photos and provided updates, it’s clear they love dogs and treat them just like their own while caring for them! We will definitely be re-booking next time we need someone to look after Kaos”

“After returning from our holiday, our pet came out as a new dog! Happy, fit and well loved! Our dog generally requires a lot of exercise and Rodger provided plenty of exercise, love, care and attention. The best during the holiday was to receive the updates and photos of Amber! Rodger communicated very well and established a good relationship with Amber! We will be leaving Amber with Rodger in the future! Rita & David”

“Rebecca and her family were absolutely lovely with my 18 week old Trixie. Honestly she had the best time at their home. I got sent lots of photos and updates. They took her on a lovely walk in the woods which is nearby them and she also had plenty of cuddles from her lovely daughters. I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to put my Trixie to Rebecca again. It was the first time I had left her overnight but the family put me at ease straight away. I’m sure Trixie can’t wait for more sleep overs.”

“Kaitlin was amazing with our shy girl when we were away for 8 days. She came to meet her beforehand, and was very great with keeping in touch while we were away and sending lots of photographs each day. She even managed to get our girl to eat some treats from her hand as she is usually very shy and a bit antisocial with new people! Will definitely use Kaitlin again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Leony kept us well updated very promptly after or during each visit. She was patient with our older cat and looked after him very well. I felt very comfortable leaving him in her capable hands for the weekend.”

“Grace was so lovely when we met her for the meet and greet. She took the time to listen to all of my dogs needs and quirks. My dog can be quite anxious but she took to Grace straight away and it was clear in the photos shared with us on each visit that she was always happy and well looked after. Thanks so much Grace!”

“Mia was incredibly professional, very quick to respond and took the greatest care of Frida and our home. We got lots of photo and video updates and it was clear to see that Frida was super happy and relaxed with Mia. We came home to a very chill cat, an immaculate home and a new cardboard castle for Frida :D We will not hesitate to book Mia again!”

“Kasie has been absolutely amazing, diligent with checking in and letting me know how Suki is doing, and really going above and beyond to make sure she was looked after while I was away”

“Holly house sits for our 12 year old cat, Max. We find Holly to be reliable, honest, trustworthy and consciousness. A pleasure to have in our home and Max adores her loving disposition. We were kept updated with photos and messages throughout our absence and that was very reassuring. We have no hesitation recommending Holly for house sitting and drop in visits and are delighted to have found her. 10/10”

About: I have 15 years of hands-on experience caring for cats, having shared my life with two cats over the years. I am now caring for my senior cat, so I am familiar with the extra patience, attention and care that older cats may need. My experience includes daily feeding and care, administering medication, arranging and attending veterinary visits, and paying close attention to changes in behaviour, appetite and wellbeing. I have also looked after friends’ and family members’ cats, including providing overnight and full-day care while their owners were away. I understand how important it is for cats to feel safe in their own environment and to have their usual routines respected. I am calm, patient and attentive, and I will always follow your instructions about feeding, medication, playtime and other aspects of your cat’s routine. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is well cared for.

“Kiara was amazing, I needed a last minute visit for my cat. She stayed over an hr each day with my cat and played with him. I got daily report cards with pictures that I looked forward to each day. He was belly up in almost all of them so I know he enjoyed her company. I will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“100% would recommend Sarah! She stayed in our home to look after our two cats. We were kept up to date with regular updates and pictures. We could tell the cats were being well looked after and were enjoying their time with Sarah which was lovely and put us at ease! ☺️ thanks for taking such good care of our princesses!”

“Jiao was an absolute joy this week, she fed and played with our little cat a lot and it was lovely getting pictures and videos every morning. We looked forward to our updates every day 😃 She followed all our instructions so we would definitely book with her again for our next holiday ❤️”

“Elayna was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Mochi! It’s clear she’s a huge animal lover and an absolute natural with cats! She was excellent at sending both photo and written updates of every visit - I was able to fully enjoy my holiday knowing Mochi was being well cared-for at home. Elayna was extremely attentive: rotating Mochi’s toys and tidying them away when not needed; opening/closing the curtains; using his favourite toys to play with him; keeping track of eating habits, etc. As a long-haired cat, Mochi requires daily brushing to avoid matting and his coat was in PERFECT condition when I came home. I came back to a clean litter tray, tidy house, and a very happy, purring cat. 5 ⭐️ Service!”

“Sam did an amazing job as always looking after our cats! We got regular updates and pictures which we really appreciated! Sam even managed to get our grumpy cat to play!! Would highly recommend and will book again in the future 😊”

“Leanne was absolutely brilliant, she took such great care of our cat with lots of attention and playtime, alongside the usual feeding, water and litter tray tasks. We received lots of photos and videos from every visit which put our mind at ease as well as giving us a much needed kitty fix when we were missing her! :) Most importantly our cat absolutely loved Leanne and was super happy and relaxed. Thank you so much!”

I truly enjoy being around dogs and understand the love, attention, and patience they need to thrive. I'm currently completing additional training to further develop my knowledge and skills, allowing me to provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to ensure that both you and your dog feel comfortable, supported, and confident while in my care. I will always take the time to understand your dog's routine, preferences, and needs so that both you and your furry friend have the best possible experience. About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.
“So very happy to have found Shaimaa to take care of Baloo during our trip to Aberdeen! She accepted an incredibly short notice request when another arrangement fell through, and was such a fabulous sitter for him. Shaimaa sent reassuring video clips, photos and messages, so we knew that Baloo was in great hands and having a super time. Baloo responded incredibly positively to her calm, caring and positive approach. He had lots of fun, great walks and plenty cuddles. We highly recommend Shaimaa if you're based in, or travelling to, Aberdeen. What an excellent experience she provided, which meant that we could relax and make the most of the events that brought us to Aberdeen, without worrying about the wellbeing of our lovely dog. Thank you so much!”

A truly great experience for Ruby and us. We highly recommend Margaret,Zoe and Skye for you dogs daycare and will be booking them again. Thank you so much.”
“Virgil had a great time with Sarah, Glen and family. They were really great at following our guidance for Virgil given that he's young and still needs things like planned naps. “Holly has been absolutely fantastic with our dog, Reggie, who can be quite anxious/nervous. On meeting she asked a lot of great questions, listened to Reggie’s needs, and was patient as he was nervous during their first few meets. She has taken great effort into accommodating Reggie’s needs - making his walks totally stress free and fun! It’s clear she treats animals she cares for with a lot of care, and kindness, as Reggie absolutely loves her and gets so excited to go on his walks. We honestly couldn’t recommend Holly enough!”

About: Throughout my life i’ve owned and taken care of Dogs, Cats - including kittens, Reptiles and other “wacky” animals - Such as Snails, Vampire Crabs, Insects, and Frogs, However I have basic knowledge revolving around most animal care. I have also done basic training for my dog and cat. I’m currently working part time, so have plenty of time to work with animals, aswell as extremely active so can take animals on walks for long timings if needed. I can not house animals at my personal home, however I can happily travel upwards of 30 minutes for home sitting and walks - as well as provide excellent overnight services where needed as I am extremely adaptive and can wake multiple times during the night if your pet requires additional support.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! Growing up, my family had two wonderful dogs, Jazz and Charly. My parents also regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, since they worked from home and could give them plenty of walks, playtime, and relaxation. Being raised in this environment taught me the importance of caring for animals with love, consistency, and presence. It also showed me just how much better life is with animals around! In addition to dogs, I also have a horse named Lincoln, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments from energetic puppies to senior dogs as well as experience with horses and donkeys. Sadly, we lost our beloved dog Charly last August. Since then, I’ve moved from Canada to Scotland to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. While it’s been an incredible adventure, I’ve deeply missed having animals in my daily life. That’s why I joined Rover to spend time with amazing pets and help give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are safe, happy, and well-cared-for while they’re away. Rover also helps me support my education and living expenses during school. But most importantly, it gives me the opportunity to do something I genuinely love: spending time with animals and meeting wonderful people along the way. Pet care fits perfectly into my current schedule. I have the most availability on Wednesdays and weekends, which gives me dedicated time to focus on caring for pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or check-ins, or anything they may need. When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, I always aim to follow their regular routine as closely as possible from feeding schedules and walk times to play and cuddle time! I take note of any specific instructions or preferences, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also keep the home tidy and send regular updates so owners know everything is going smoothly. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure the space is safe, calm, and welcoming. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and always ensure pets have a cozy place to relax. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family while they’re in my care
About: I have a Level 3 VTQ certification in Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals from ProTrainings, as well as Dog Care/Cat care Level 2 (VTQ) qualified, which equips me with the skills to handle emergencies and provide essential medical care to pets, and now ensure to carry an animal first aid kit with me to all sits. I've also spent some time as a volunteer at 'Oasi Felice degli Animali' an animal sanctuary in Sardinia Italy, and cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, cats, sheep, and goats. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, and providing companionship, as well as cleaning their living spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. I also assisted with basic medical care and rehabilitation, embracing the sanctuary’s holistic approach to animal care, which treats animals as autonomous beings and caters to their individual needs rather than trying to control them. Additionally, my experience at the National Animal Welfare Trust involved caring for and cleaning after rabbits, further broadening my animal care skills. I am currently an adult and paediatric student nurse, and have found many skills and therapeutic techniques have been very transferable to my work as a pet sitter ensuring that the animals I care for receive the best possible attention and care. I'm currently, a nursing student, however there tend to be stretches of time where our learning is primarily online so I'm able to work around that. I can provide any type of security measures you deem appropriate for the care of your pet, as keeping them safe is my top priority.

About: Regularly looking after 3 dogs for a family from when they were puppies to old dogs. Experience sitting in for multiple days, getting to know the dogs and their specific needs and preferences. Having a pet cat, and looking after a neighbour's cat regularly. I currently have minimal commitments, giving me lots of time and opportunity for pet care. It is likely your preferred times will fit into my routine. I cater for all your pets needs, and learn their preferences to make sure they feel happy and comfortable. I like to give them lots of fuss and attention.

About: I have been caring for animals for many years, both as a pet owner and as a volunteer. I grew up with a dog and have spent the last 15 years caring for two cats. My cats have needed regular veterinary care, medication and daily attention, including the additional care that comes with older pets. This has taught me to be patient, observant and attentive to changes in an animal’s health, behaviour and routine. I have also regularly walked dogs belonging to friends and family and provided overnight and full-day care for their cats. I understand how important it is to follow each pet’s individual routine and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have also volunteered at an animal rescue centre in Poland, where I helped care for rescued wildlife, and at an animal shelter, where I walked dogs and spent time with them. I am reliable, calm and responsible, and I am happy to follow individual instructions regarding walks, feeding, medication and care. I will keep owners updated with photos and let them know if I notice anything unusual about their pet. Most importantly, I want every animal in my care to feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends. I can adapt my availability to your pet’s routine and care needs, and provide reliable, consistent care. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first. In your home, I will respect your space, follow your instructions carefully and keep your pet’s usual routines. I will also keep you updated with photos and let you know if I notice anything unusual.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets, particularly cats, as I have my own and understand their daily needs, including feeding, grooming, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and providing plenty of affection and attention. I am comfortable recognising changes in their behaviour and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I also have experience walking and looking after dogs, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I am patient, reliable, and confident handling pets of different personalities. I understand how important it is to follow owners’ routines and instructions, and I will always treat every pet as if they were my own, making their wellbeing and happiness my top priority. I’m currently off university and work part-time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate pet care at short notice. I always know my shifts in advance, allowing me to plan visits and provide reliable, consistent care. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to ensure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I understand how important it is for cats to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I’ll follow your cat’s usual routine, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, administering medication if instructed, and providing playtime or quiet company depending on their personality. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep it secure, and send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for
