“My 2 chihuahuas had a wonderful experience staying with Jane, I thoroughly recommend her. She has a lovely calm and kind personality which was great for my 2 nervous boys, they were very reassured in her presence. She was also very flexible when working with me on a change of dates which I really appreciated.”

“Jemma was absolutely fantastic looking after Ellie over the weekend. This was our first time booking with her, and she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring from start to finish. She was able to take Ellie in on quite short notice, which we really appreciated, and she was quick to respond to all of my questions both before and after the booking. Throughout Ellie’s stay, Jemma went above and beyond with updates. She sent loads of photos without me even needing to ask, which gave me real peace of mind and made it clear Ellie was happy and well cared for. Jemma also took Ellie out to cafés and introduced her to some friendly doggy companions, always checking with me beforehand to make sure I was comfortable with it. I really appreciated that level of communication and consideration. Most importantly, Ellie came back happy and relaxed, which says everything. I will definitely be rebooking Jemma again without hesitation and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.”

About: I've grown up in a family that has always loved dogs, so caring for them has been a natural part of my life from a young age. I truly enjoy being around dogs and understand the love, attention, and patience they need to thrive. As a dog owner myself, I have hands-on experience with daily care, exercise, enrichment, and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I'm currently completing additional training to further develop my knowledge and skills, allowing me to provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to ensure that both you and your dog feel comfortable, supported, and confident while in my care. I will always take the time to understand your dog's routine, preferences, and needs so that both you and your furry friend have the best possible experience. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to the dogs in my care. From September 2026, I will be attending campus three days a week during term time, with my timetable to be confirmed. I will always ensure your dog receives the attention, exercise, companionship, and routine they need to feel happy and settled. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighbourhood and provide a calm, child-free and cat-free environment. My home is kept clean and secure to minimise hazards, and I have a large crate available if required. I take the time to understand each dog's individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout their stay.
“Rebecca was absolutely amazing!! She made murphy so welcome in her house and sent a load of photos through the day to keep our minds at rest. He was well exercised and plenty of cuddles and when we came to pick him up he clearly wanted to stay. We will 100% use Rebecca again for looking after murphy and highly recommend her to others”

“I recently boarded my Cocker Spaniel with Cami for a week, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we dropped him off, Cami showed genuine care and kindness, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the week, we received regular updates—photos, videos, and messages—which really helped us stay connected and reassured us that our pup was in safe hands. It was clear that Cami treated him with the same love and attention we would at home. My dog seemed so comfortable and happy, which says a lot about how gentle and attentive Cami was. I highly recommend Cami to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for their pet. We’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

“We left our pup with Zhi for the 2nd time and both times have been a 10/10 service. We are very fussy with who we leave Leia with and have tried several people and options and Zhi has been the only sitter we feel 100% comfortable with. We have even been able to book a holiday for next year something that we couldn’t do before but can now because we feel confident in Zhi. He sends regular updates and has a lot of patience with her, all her requirements are met he really listens to all of her needs and she feels really comfortable in his home which isn’t common for her. We can’t wait until her next stay 😊”

“Kayleigh and family looked after Rufus for 3 weeks in July. They took exceptionally good care of Rufus so we were very happy and will definitely use Kayleigh again. - Plenty of walks and excercise - Nice house and garden in a nice area, so we knew Rufus would be safe and secure - They have a small dog who was a good companion for Rufus - Socialising with other dogs, which was good for Rufus - Daily updates with lots of photos gave peace of mind”

“Haley was amazing! Her communication before and during Steely’s stay was excellent and she was keen to find out as many details about Steely as possible. She kept us updated with photos and videos and it was evident Steely had a wonderful time! Thanks so much Haley!”

“Jack did a great job looking after our crazy young Cocker Spaniel at short notice, though I think he was very glad to hand him back! Thanks for taking good care of him. He was also very accommodating of our last-minute change of times, and that was very much appreciated.”

About: Been around dogs since I was a kid. From walking and feeding my neighbours Jack Russell to full on dog sitting when I became more experienced. Genuine lover of dogs with experience in walking, feeding, administering oral medication, washing + drying & providing puppy love. I’m currently working full time as an engineer, who works from home multiple days of the week. I can plan around yourself if needed based on dates and regularly pause work to walk the dog and give the needed attention, toilet breaks etc. I have a large living room with a multitude of dog toys, beds and even a crate. I will walk the dog multiple times throughout the day (as required) and take them for a play in the evening at a bigger park

“Leah cared for our two doggies like they were her own and spoilt them rotten. She put us at ease from our first meeting before our holidays and continuously updated us on our dogs and sent beautiful pictures. She gives five star care for pets and our family can’t recommend her enough xxx”

“So happy with Glen and family. Quick communication and easy to book. Booking went well and my dogs were well looked after and was given updates throughout the day. Will definitely use again. Thank you.”

About: I’ve been walking dogs on and off for years, and I’m most experienced with medium-sized dogs, reading their energy, knowing when they need a slower pace or a proper run. I spent years working offshore, which meant I could never have a dog of my own. Looking after your dog gives me the chance to give that care and attention I’ve always wanted to give - so your dog gets someone who’s genuinely invested, not just clocking in. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed around a commute. That means regular walks, company throughout the day, and no dog left alone for long stretches. I’m based in Rubislaw, which puts me close to some brilliant walking spots - Harlaw Playing Fields, Hazlehead Woods, and the best parts of the West End - so there’s plenty of variety for dogs who like a proper sniff around versus a good run. Spacious, secure Rubislaw apartment with space for a medium-size crate. I’m happy to tailor the home setup to your dog’s preference, whether crate or free roam.

“Emma and her husband were really helpful in accommodating a last-minute booking, which I truly appreciated. “Leony was absolutely fantastic while looking after my cat Faye while I was away. From the moment we first spoke, I felt completely at ease knowing Faye would be in safe hands. Leony was warm, professional, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept me updated with lovely photos and messages, which really helped ease my mind while I was gone. Faye can be a little shy with new people, but she warmed up to Leony almost instantly, a true sign of how calm and caring she is. When I got home, Faye was happy, healthy, and clearly very well looked after. The flat was spotless, her food and litter were exactly as they should be, and it was clear she’d been given plenty of love and attention.”

“Emily is the ideal cat sitter. Very attentive and took good care of my two cats when I was on holiday. She kept me updated with videos and photos of the cats and kept them well fed and cleaned up any mess. Both cats are very comfortable with Emily. I would highly recommend her pet sitting services and look forward to booking her in the near future.”

“Honestly couldn’t recommend Jiao enough, she’s so good at explaining how my buns are which is so helpful for a worrisome owner like me, it’s so reassuring and calming to know they are being so well looked after and to have the daily updates of them with every visit. Jiao communicates any issues so well and also resolves them too. She’s so kind and I’m so pleased we’ve found her!”

“Ashton was a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend him! He responded quickly to correspondence and it was very easy to get details sorted out. My cat is naturally shy, but she was ok with him in my presence. He followed instructions well and was friendly, courteous and professional :)”

“Shaka took to Sophie quite quick, so definitely a weight off my shoulders while away. She seemed attentive and concerned about him. He is a little temperamental so no concerns but it proved she cares 😁 Will definitely consider rebooking with my next trip away.”

“Reah has looked after our cat, Nika, a few times now, and it is always reassuring to know she is in good hands. We really appreciate the updates and attention she gives Nika while we’re away, and Nika clearly feels comfortable with her, which gives us real peace of mind! We had very limited phone signal on this trip and weren’t able to check in as much as usual, so it was especially comforting to know that everything was being taken care of. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Reah to anyone looking for a caring & reliable cat sitter 😻”

I now have 2 cats of my own called Sox and Juju they're very boisterous 2 year olds who take up a lot of my life and love. I dedicate my life to taking care of them and making sure they have the right amount of love and care due to them being rescue babies! If you give me the honour to look after your cat I will love them as much as I love my own

“Kasie is a respectful, responsible, attentive, kind and sweet cat sitter. During her first visit, she arrived on time and took excellent care of our cat, Angus. She approached him gently and tried to play, but today, Angus was not that playful, so she respected his space when he preferred to be on his own. Kasie gave him fresh food, checked his water, attempted to brush him, and ensured that his litter box was clean. We felt very comfortable knowing that Angus was in such good hands, and we would be happy and lucky to book Kasie again :)”

“We were delighted to have Mia return to look after our cat again for the weekend. She takes such wonderful care of Frida, who she spoils will lots of love and attention. We have no hesitation recommending Holly for house sitting and drop in visits and are delighted to have found her. 10/10”

“Kiarra was amazing. She came to visit my home and indya before our booking which put me at ease. She sent me regular updates and even a video of Indya so I knew she was happy. “Jemma was a delight and looked after Ru very well. Was happy for a meet and greet in advance of the big day. And on the day went for lots of lovely walks with Ru, despite the mixed weather! They even went for a wee puppaccino in a local cafe. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jemma for the most excellent care 🐶☕”

About: Hello, my name is Camilo and I'll be taking care of your pup :) I currently have a well trained beagle who has been part of my life for the past three years. He is obedient, cheerful and enjoys his daily walks with me, come rain or shine. I have also grown up with a family poodle for seven years, so I'm very familiar with different breeds and their individual personalities. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. I always ensure feeding times, walks and play are consistent and suited to each dog’s temperament and energy levels. I believe in positive reinforcement, plenty of attention and creating a calm, safe environment where your dog can feel happy and secure while you are away. You can expect regular updates and photos, so you know exactly how your dog is doing during their time here. I am reliable, attentive and genuinely love spending time with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, responsible and committed to your dog’s wellbeing, I would be delighted to help. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions. Looking for forward to meeting you and your dog 🐕🐕🐕 I'm a WFH PhD student, and I'm currently able of taking care of your dog 24 hours at home if needed, so there wouldn't be any issues with timing or scheduling. I have a well behaved neutered Beagle who's used to share his toys and his humans. I have a fenced garden as well to ensure the dogs can go out whenever is needed. However, I also live very close to parks, ensuring that your dog will always have contact with green areas to socialise with other dogs

“Virgil had a great time with Zhi and family. This was his first day away from us and Zhi made us comfortable and sent lots of updates during the day. Virgil came back very tired so clearly had the best time with his new doggie friends, we've even seen him be more confident out and about!”

“Euri was lovely and caring with our Dash. She had all the patience in the world for him, and dedicated her time to him. We got photos and regular updates. I definitely recommend Euri, and I look forward to seeing her again.”

About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.
“Jane was so welcoming to both Murphy and myself. She obligingly helped out with a last minute dog sitting. Even though Murphy is very anxious and barky at the moment, she made him feel safe and loved, even if it was just for a few hours! Thank you Jane! Hope to see you again soon !??”

“So very happy to have found Shaimaa to take care of Baloo during our trip to Aberdeen! She accepted an incredibly short notice request when another arrangement fell through, and was such a fabulous sitter for him. Shaimaa sent reassuring video clips, photos and messages, so we knew that Baloo was in great hands and having a super time. Baloo responded incredibly positively to her calm, caring and positive approach. He had lots of fun, great walks and plenty cuddles. We highly recommend Shaimaa if you're based in, or travelling to, Aberdeen. What an excellent experience she provided, which meant that we could relax and make the most of the events that brought us to Aberdeen, without worrying about the wellbeing of our lovely dog. Thank you so much!”

“Lots of status updates, photos and videos of my dog playing with lily in gardens. They got on great! Ewa has lots of toys also for my dog to play with and wee mini games like treat trays, sniffs etc. 10/10 would recommend! :)”

“Virgil had a great time with Sarah, Glen and family. They were really great at following our guidance for Virgil given that he's young and still needs things like planned naps. The photos they sent through were so lovely, we knew what he was up and that he was happy. He seemed really happy and chilled there!”

About: Regularly looking after 3 dogs for a family from when they were puppies to old dogs. Experience sitting in for multiple days, getting to know the dogs and their specific needs and preferences. Having a pet cat, and looking after a neighbour's cat regularly. I currently have minimal commitments, giving me lots of time and opportunity for pet care. It is likely your preferred times will fit into my routine. I cater for all your pets needs, and learn their preferences to make sure they feel happy and comfortable. I like to give them lots of fuss and attention.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I’m now 22 and currently have two dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and patience pets need every day. I’ve grown up caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large breeds, and I also have experience caring for litters of kittens, small animals, birds, and reptiles. Over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their pets while they’re away, giving me experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m especially patient with shy or nervous pets and always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Animals truly are my passion, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with reactive dogs, just let me know in advance so we can plan around it. I am constantly trying to better myself with online CPD courses on dog training, behaviour and canine communication. Fully insured and looking forward to meeting my new best friends❤️ I am currently working full time, however most of my shifts finish around 12:30/1:30pm, so I have the time for my new besties. All walks and drop in visits will be carefully planned and fitted into the schedule. Please let me know your preferences on dealing with your pets as I would like to honour them. I have a car with back seat cover, hopefully will be able to upgrade to a van soon. I will make sure to check all doors and windows are closed and locked upon leaving.
About: I have a Level 3 VTQ certification in Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals from ProTrainings, as well as Dog Care/Cat care Level 2 (VTQ) qualified, which equips me with the skills to handle emergencies and provide essential medical care to pets, and now ensure to carry an animal first aid kit with me to all sits. I've also spent some time as a volunteer at 'Oasi Felice degli Animali' an animal sanctuary in Sardinia Italy, and cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, cats, sheep, and goats. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, and providing companionship, as well as cleaning their living spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. I also assisted with basic medical care and rehabilitation, embracing the sanctuary’s holistic approach to animal care, which treats animals as autonomous beings and caters to their individual needs rather than trying to control them. Additionally, my experience at the National Animal Welfare Trust involved caring for and cleaning after rabbits, further broadening my animal care skills. I am currently an adult and paediatric student nurse, and have found many skills and therapeutic techniques have been very transferable to my work as a pet sitter ensuring that the animals I care for receive the best possible attention and care. I'm currently, a nursing student, however there tend to be stretches of time where our learning is primarily online so I'm able to work around that. I can provide any type of security measures you deem appropriate for the care of your pet, as keeping them safe is my top priority.

“Jack did a great job looking after our crazy young Cocker Spaniel at short notice, though I think he was very glad to hand him back! Thanks for taking good care of him. He was also very accommodating of our last-minute change of times, and that was very much appreciated.”

“Leah cared for our two doggies like they were her own and spoilt them rotten. She put us at ease from our first meeting before our holidays and continuously updated us on our dogs and sent beautiful pictures. She gives five star care for pets and our family can’t recommend her enough xxx”

“Emma and her husband were really helpful in accommodating a last-minute booking, which I truly appreciated. They were friendly, welcomed me into their home, and showed me where Ellie would be staying, which was reassuring. They also responded to my messages and kept in touch when I asked for updates, which made me feel more comfortable while Ellie was with them.”

“After returning from our holiday, our pet came out as a new dog! Happy, fit and well loved! Our dog generally requires a lot of exercise and Rodger provided plenty of exercise, love, care and attention. The best during the holiday was to receive the updates and photos of Amber! Rodger communicated very well and established a good relationship with Amber! We will be leaving Amber with Rodger in the future! Rita & David”
