About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. We got out first family dog, Luna, seven years ago who is definitely the favourite child! Three years later she gave birth to two gorgeous puppies which I helped raise from birth so I’m confident with puppy care and handling. My vet school training means I’m comfortable with all breeds and personalities, and I know how to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free! I genuinely love building a bond with every animal I meet and I always aim to give them safe, reliable, and loving care. I am at university Monday to Friday usually to around 4, except on Wednesday which we are either completely off or have a half day till around 12. I focus on keeping pets safe, relaxed, and happy by sticking closely to their usual routine. I would follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. About: I’ve had dogs since i was young and last year did some dog sitting around Aberdeen in other people’s homes. This year i have my own house with a fenced garden so am ready for dogs in! About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.

About: I have owned cats since I was a very small child, I have grown up with more than 4 cats, and they bring me so much joy, I am happy to care for more than just cats, and dogs, I have experience in taking care of a dog as well. I am currently a university student and I am able to use all my free time when i’m not studying taking care of all sorts of pets, my schedule is very flexible I make sure that the dogs have plenty of water as well as food, and usually take them on a minimum 30 minute walk once a day. I make sure cats food and water are always replenished especially on a hot day and i make sure both cats and dogs get their exercise and play time
About: I have a Level 3 VTQ certification in Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals from ProTrainings, as well as Dog Care/Cat care Level 2 (VTQ) qualified, which equips me with the skills to handle emergencies and provide essential medical care to pets, and now ensure to carry an animal first aid kit with me to all sits. I've also spent some time as a volunteer at 'Oasi Felice degli Animali' an animal sanctuary in Sardinia Italy, and cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, cats, sheep, and goats. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, and providing companionship, as well as cleaning their living spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. I also assisted with basic medical care and rehabilitation, embracing the sanctuary’s holistic approach to animal care, which treats animals as autonomous beings and caters to their individual needs rather than trying to control them. Additionally, my experience at the National Animal Welfare Trust involved caring for and cleaning after rabbits, further broadening my animal care skills. I am currently an adult and paediatric student nurse, and have found many skills and therapeutic techniques have been very transferable to my work as a pet sitter ensuring that the animals I care for receive the best possible attention and care. I'm currently, a nursing student, however there tend to be stretches of time where our learning is primarily online so I'm able to work around that. About: I am an experienced and caring cat lover 🐈⬛ who worked for 7 years in a cattery, where I looked after cats of all ages, from newborn kittens to senior cats with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and care needs. As part of my role, I cared for unwell cats in quarantine and I have experience giving medication 💊, grooming 🪮, and making sure each cat received the individual care and attention they needed ❤️. I also looked after nervous and timid cats, so I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life around and caring for different dogs. I have my own dog, Reggie, who is nearly five years old, and I’ve been closely involved in his care since he was a puppy. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many different breeds, including Labradors, Staffies, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Dachshunds and mixed breeds. This has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, energy levels and needs. Labrador Retrievers are my favourite, but I genuinely love all dogs and enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique.🐾 I work part-time and study online, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability during the week. I can spend a lot of time with your pet throughout the day and fit walks, playtime and toilet breaks around their usual routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I follow your instructions carefully, keep their routine as familiar as possible and make sure they are supervised and comfortable throughout their stay.
