“It was good that Kiarra had an overnight stay with Benji just a few weeks before so they knew each other ahead of Kiarra being here for the week. Kiarra was diligent in sending us a video each day showing what they had been up to. It was obvious they were going long walks each day going to different places including travelling to locations in the car which is great. It was clear Benji enjoyed his walks with Kiarra. Kiarra kept us advised on Benji’s eating habits as he can be a bit fussy. After a day or too he settled into a good pattern. Kiarra kept the house very tidy and even stripped the beds before she left which was helpful. In summary we were extremely happy with Kiarra’s week with Benji and it was clear Benji enjoyed it too. She has a great personality and obviously enjoys spending time with dogs and the job she does. It was very kind of her to stay a few extra hours on the last day as our flight was delayed. We would definitely use Kiarra again and would have no hesitation to recommend her to friends and family, thanks again Kiarra.”

I’ve been dog and cat sitting for over 10 years for family, friends, and others, covering everything from walks and feeding to overnight care. About: I’ve looked after my dog since she was a puppy in 2015. I hold most responsibility over her, feeding and walking her. I love playing with her and giving her the attention she deserves. I also own many fish that i feed multiple times a day and love them to bits ! I’m currently a university student so have quite a free schedule !!! I typically go to university for a few hours a day a week and some days i have nothing, so am quite available to anything I live in a flat, with a shared garden, which goes mainly unused by the other residents, it is fenced off from other gardens. I’m typically a clean person so if any accidents occur such as having an accident on the carpet or floor, it’s not a bother to clean up no worries !

About: I have loved and been around dogs my whole life, growing up with dogs of my own and caring for many different breeds, ages and personalities over the years. I understand that dogs thrive with structure, routine and trust. As every dog is different, I know that some may be food-oriented, some more toy-oriented, and others may need patience, compassion and reassurance. I house-sat for a family friend for 2 weeks, caring for their 10 dogs and making sure each one received attention, exercise, and care that they needed. I have also cared for another friend's 2 dogs (alongside their 3 cats) while house-sitting, following their usual routines, making sure they got their medications, and making sure they felt happy and secure while their owner was away. Additionally, my own dog suffered from a slipped disc and had to undergo surgery, during her period of rehabilitation I, alongside my mum, gave her medications to make sure she was comfortable. She was able to be walked in a full-body-weight support harness, with me supporting her entire body weight to avoid putting too much strain on her back when taking her out to do the toilet. In addition, I performed her physiotherapy exercises, instructed by the vet, multiple times a day to ensure her swift recovery. Now, 3 years later, she is fully healed and as happy and comfortable as ever. From these experiences, I understand the importance of noticing changes in your dog's behaviour and health. Having had dogs throughout my life, I will always treat every dog in my care with the same love, respect and attention I would give my own. Currently, I have just finished my university degree, so I have an abundance of free time. I will be looking for and applying to some part-time jobs, so my availability may change. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter trays, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them, making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Having cared for cats and dogs of different ages and personalities, from kittens and puppies to a senior cat with additional care needs, as well as my dog recovering from spinal surgery, I understand the importance of monitoring their well-being and recognising when something may be wrong. I am very comfortable following specific instructions for pets with unique routines or requirements. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment, so I always treat both the pets and the owners' home with respect. I also provide regular updates and photos, giving owners peace of mind while they are away.

About: I have dog sat as a teenager for family friends and now in my adult life I have previously lived with a very nervous rescue dog who needed lots of extra care and attention and have lived with 3 energetic border collies in my last relationship. They were crate trained, 2 F and 1 neutered M. I have had cats, hamsters, dogs, geckos, fish, a python and a bearded dragon! I LOVE all animals and now that I’m at a point of not living in a home with any pets I am really excited to help take care of your little furry family members :) I have experience with reactive dogs and am happy to help with any specific needs your dog has/take into consideration anything that needs to be avoided. I have gave plenty of medications to dogs young and old in different forms, no formal training however I have done it many times and feel confident doing it. I work partially in an office 8-4 and one day a week from home, I am off every weekend. I’d love to spend the spare alone time I have helping other peoples pets :) I have a fenced garden, have no pets currently. I am happy to care for pets in your home or mine. Check ins, overnights etc.

“This was the first time abroad from our pets; two Romanian rescues and an elderly cat - we were a little anxious as you'd expect, but we'd built up a little trust between ourselves, our animals and Vilte before we went, including a few hours simply house-sitting a week before our holiday. One of our rescues can take a while to build trust, but was relaxed with Vilte as we saw on the many photos and updates she sent while we were away. We're already planning another house-sit with her, and dog-walking meanwhile.”

About: i’ve been cat sitting for other families since I was 16 and I have had many cats in my own family all throughout my life. I have always been the crazy cat lady in my family and I absolutely adore my little cuddly kitties. I have always been asked by neighbours and family friends to look after their cats while they have been on vacation and I love doing it! I am very experienced with all types of cats whether they are social or a little more reserved. I have also done a three week internship in a cattery when I was 16 so am confident when giving medicine and cleaning cats. I am able to see cats every day in my weekly routine. If you require me to spend more than one 1-hour visit a day with you cat then just reach out and I will see what my schedule is like! I am always very careful to open doors when first entering your home, just in case your little one is waiting to come out. I will always go slowly and gently with your cat at first and let them know that they are in charge of how the pet care is going to be. I always want your cats to trust me, however I understand that some cats are too timid and do not want to speak and that is perfectly fine.

About: Hiya! Im 19 and currently in college and have always loved being around animals. I currently have a dog and have previously had a hamster and bunnies however I have spent time around cats and other pets too so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals. I’m a patient and caring person who really enjoys spending time with animals and see them as part of the family! and believe when being around animals making sure they feel happy and comfortable is important. I currently have a lot more free time outside of college and especially during holidays i feel pet sitting would be a great way to spend time doing something I truly enjoy while helping others out by caring for their pets. I have a dog his name is Cody! so pet care is part of my daily routine a lot considering I’m around him nearly 24/7 when not at college (even then I still make time for him) I feed him, make sure he has fresh water and take him for walks or play with him with his favourite toy ( a ball) and don’t worry I don’t forget the treats! The way I care for pets is by making sure their needs are met and that they feel safe and comfortable which i personally feel is very important which is why I always go at their pace. I make sure they have fresh water and that I spend time playing with them so they don’t feel lonely. I also make sure to pay attention to their behaviour so I can notice if anything seems wrong. I study social sciences so I feel that my ability to read people can sometimes help me understand behaviour better and I think that it helps me out when being around animals as how you act around animals can affect how they respond and act towards you. If I were caring for someone else’s pet in their home I would follow their instructions and stick to whatever the animals normal routine has been so they feel secure in their own environment as I would not want to confuse them or disrupt what they are used to!

About: Dogs are a non-negotiable part of my life, I take every opportunity I can to say hello to every dog I meet. Since moving to Aberdeen to study dentistry, I have been renting and as such am unable to have a pet of my own. I spend time with my friends’ pets when I can and sometimes pet sit when she’s out of town. I like to run on the beach because people always have their dogs out and it makes my day when they come up and say hi to me. At home in Ireland, I have 2 Jack Russells, Sasha and Banjo, and have lived with a golden retriever in Australia for a year (Thelma). All of my friends have dogs including a three-legged rescue named Colin. Since moving here, I’ve really missed having dogs around and think that helping to walk or pet-sit would fill that void for me. I am a dental student who works part-time so I have a lot of free time through the week. I’m fully available early mornings, lunch times, and evenings. Depending on my clinical schedule, I will also have full afternoons available. I will tailor walks to your preference. I can walk roads, parks, estates, or even just play with them in your garden. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and as a student who is renting, taking care of your pets would be a great opportunity for me to be around dogs.
