I never allow cats outdoors unattended, and I make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. I have experience with many different cat personalities by now, so please get in touch if your cat is a timid, a bit more spicy or special quirks. Rest assured that your cat(s) will be well cared for throughout your time away. I’m also happy to send daily updates and photos — as frequently or as minimally as you prefer — so you always feel connected and informed.

Please let me know if your cat has any medical conditions or allergies I should be aware of. I avoid wearing perfume or scented lotions during visits, and I never bring my own snacks or catnip to ensure there are no unexpected reactions. And if your cat has any accidents, there’s no need to worry — I’m always happy to clean up and keep their space comfortable. I’d also love to know their favourite toys, games, or routines. The more I know about what they enjoy, the better I can make them feel at ease while you’re away.

Each visit is unique and includes a mix of interaction, companionship, and calm time so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. For home sittings, I shape my day around your cat’s natural rhythm. I follow the routine they’re used to, offering playtime when they’re active, gentle company when they want attention, and a peaceful environment when it’s time to rest. By keeping their schedule consistent and their space calm, I make sure they feel relaxed and well looked after throughout the day. I have experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities — from timid, shy, or more reactive cats to those who are confident, cuddly, and affectionate. I adapt my approach to each cat’s individual temperament, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and comfortable in my care.

Thank you for clicking on my profile! :) My name is Mia and I am happy to watch after your furry friends! I am 30 years old and grew up with cats and love them. They are my favourite beings on this planet. I have been working as a cat sitter here in Aberdeen for almost 3 years now, and also work full-time. I am available for sittings in the Rosemount/Midstocket area mornings and evenings, and other areas after 5/6 pm depending on work patterns. I work hybrid, so would be unable to accommodate sittings in areas further away from Rosemount as I depend on public transport or walk. I'm happy to stay overnight as long as I am able to work remotely. Do get in touch if you have any questions. I'm happy to accommodate any sittings further out on weekends, and I am usually available for last-minute sittings. I graduated from the University of Aberdeen where I studied Modern Languages (French, Spanish, Arabic), Translation, and Interpreting. I have lived in Aberdeen for several years now. :) I am a very organised and tidy person and will be mindful and respectful in your home to take care of your cats and kitten. I have taken care of several animals (cats, dogs, mice, tortoises) for as long as I can remember and adore all sorts of animals. Your feline friends are in great hands with me and I will make sure to treat them like royalty!

Mia was brilliant and was very flexible by being available last minute! She was thorough during her meet and greet and Milo took a liking to her immediately. She sent us photos of Milo while we were away and we came home to a happy and relaxed cat. She even took the care to wash his food dishes and wipe down his eating area. Thank you Mia!
Another extended business trip away that finished with a return to a contented cat, thanks to Mia who never lets my boy go bored. Him and the house were well looked after, as always with Mia!
