I have recently finished studying my Higher National Diploma in Animal Care at Dundee and Angus College. I have worked my way up over the last four years, starting from Introduction to Animal Care, moving onto my NC, followed by my HNC, and have now successfully completed my HND. While I have always been passionate about animals and have been around them my whole life, studying them has helped me learn and understand them on a more detailed level. I have learned about the care needs of a variety of animals as well as their welfare and nutrition and how they differ depending on species and life stages. I have handled a variety of animals from dogs and cats, to rabbits and guinea pigs, and some reptiles and amphibians. I have experience with big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, reactive dogs, I have also handled dogs with disabilities and know to take extra care of them 🥰

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and secure. I always follow any instructions given by the owner regarding feeding, walking, playtime, and medication. I keep a calm, respectful environment and give each pet the attention and affection they need. I also make sure the home stays tidy and secure, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Booked Kelise for the first time to cat sit and she was wonderful. Received regular updates, lots of pictures and my cat Rocket was very happy being in her company. Thanks again Kelise!
Kelise has been walking our Luna for the last 3 weeks. Really reliable, was able to fit us in at quite short notice. Luna loved her walks, always looked so happy in the photos Kelise took and was always shattered when she was brought home.
Would highly recommend. Kelise walked my dog for almost a year for a couple of times a week. She was amazing with him, had great communication, was flexible with walking times for us and catered to all his needs.
3rd time kelise has looked after Cleo and Rory for us and again, exceptional service. She quickly spotted Rory wasn’t quite right on the second day and told me straight away so we could get him checked out at the vet. The cats love kelise which shows how good she is 🙂
Kelise always takes excellent care of our two pups who can be quite challenging. She is great at keeping in touch, we get lots of photos and updates, and the dogs are always so sad to see her go!
Second time kelise has looked after our cats and again, fantastic service. Kept me up to date with photos and I could see they were happy in her company 🙂

Schedule
I balance my pet care with my university timetable. My class hours are mostly fixed but can vary. For house sitting, I would need to be able to leave the property to attend classes and would return afterwards. I am also available for drop-in visits in the mornings before classes and in the evenings. If you have specific dates in mind, please feel free to message me and I can confirm my exact class times and availability for those dates.
