About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and had my own dog for 13 years since I was 4 years old. Looking after my dog taught me responsibility, patience and how to care for animals properly. I have also looked after someone else’s dog for a week while they were away, including feeding, walking, playing and making sure they were comfortable and happy. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them lots of care and attention. As a student, I currently have a lot of free time over the summer, so pet care fits very well into my routine. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so I would genuinely enjoy walks, playtime and giving dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable and well looked after. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks and routines, and I give pets lots of attention and supervision. I understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s pet and home, and I will always treat both with respect and care.

About: I’ve always had dogs or cats since I was young. My first dog was a King Charles Spaniel and now at my mum’s I have two boxers! I love dogs and taking them on walks! I have a two bedroom flat with a garden. On occasion I’ve looked after my friends’ dogs since going to university. I currently work part-time at a pub, where I usually do around 2 shifts at the weekend! I am pretty much finished university apart from a couple classes on a Wednesday and Thursday. My flat has absolutely no other animals in it and I share it with my flatmate who is 25, so there’s no children or anything in the flat. The dog’s safety will always be my top priority.

About: I have a Level 3 VTQ certification in Pet First Aid for Pet Professionals from ProTrainings, as well as Dog Care/Cat care Level 2 (VTQ) qualified, which equips me with the skills to handle emergencies and provide essential medical care to pets, and now ensure to carry an animal first aid kit with me to all sits. I've also spent some time as a volunteer at 'Oasi Felice degli Animali' an animal sanctuary in Sardinia Italy, and cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, cats, sheep, and goats. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, and providing companionship, as well as cleaning their living spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. I also assisted with basic medical care and rehabilitation, embracing the sanctuary’s holistic approach to animal care, which treats animals as autonomous beings and caters to their individual needs rather than trying to control them. Additionally, my experience at the National Animal Welfare Trust involved caring for and cleaning after rabbits, further broadening my animal care skills. I am currently an adult and paediatric student nurse, and have found many skills and therapeutic techniques have been very transferable to my work as a pet sitter ensuring that the animals I care for receive the best possible attention and care. I'm currently, a nursing student, however there tend to be stretches of time where our learning is primarily online so I'm able to work around that. I can provide any type of security measures you deem appropriate for the care of your pet, as keeping them safe is my top priority.

About: i’ve looked after my dog since she was a baby in 2015. I hold most responsibility over her, feeding and walking her. I love playing with her and the attention she deserves. I also own many fish, that i feed. Currently a student on summer break so a very free schedule, i mainly look after my dog, and feed my fish which is amazing as i love looking after animals i live in a flat, with a shared garden, which goes mainly unused by the other residents, it is fenced off from other gardens. I’m typically a clean person so if any accidents occur such as accidentally having a wee on the carpet, its not a bother to clean up

About: I have loved and been around dogs my whole life, growing up with dogs of my own and caring for many different breeds, ages and personalities over the years. I understand that dogs thrive with structure, routine and trust. As every dog is different, I know that some may be food-oriented, some more toy-oriented, and others may need patience, compassion and reassurance. I house-sat for a family friend for 2 weeks, caring for their 10 dogs and making sure each one received attention, exercise, and care that they needed. I have also cared for another friend's 2 dogs (alongside their 3 cats) while house-sitting, following their usual routines, making sure they got their medications, and making sure they felt happy and secure while their owner was away. Additionally, my own dog suffered from a slipped disc and had to undergo surgery, during her period of rehabilitation I, alongside my mum, gave her medications to make sure she was comfortable. She was able to be walked in a full-body-weight support harness, with me supporting her entire body weight to avoid putting too much strain on her back when taking her out to do the toilet. In addition, I performed her physiotherapy exercises, instructed by the vet, multiple times a day to ensure her swift recovery. Now, 3 years later, she is fully healed and as happy and comfortable as ever. From these experiences, I understand the importance of noticing changes in your dog's behaviour and health. Having had dogs throughout my life, I will always treat every dog in my care with the same love, respect and attention I would give my own. Currently, I have just finished my university degree, so I have an abundance of free time. I will be looking for and applying to some part-time jobs, so my availability may change. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I make it a priority to keep them comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter trays, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them, making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Having cared for cats and dogs of different ages and personalities, from kittens and puppies to a senior cat with additional care needs, as well as my dog recovering from spinal surgery, I understand the importance of monitoring their well-being and recognising when something may be wrong. I am very comfortable following specific instructions for pets with unique routines or requirements. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment, so I always treat both the pets and the owners' home with respect. I also provide regular updates and photos, giving owners peace of mind while they are away.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I’m now 22 and currently have two dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and patience pets need every day. I’ve grown up caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large breeds, and I also have experience caring for litters of kittens, small animals, birds, and reptiles. Over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their pets while they’re away, giving me experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. Animals truly are my passion, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with reactive dogs, just let me know in advance so we can plan around it. Fully insured and looking forward to meeting my new best friends❤️ I am currently working full time, however most of my shifts finish around 12:30/1:30pm, so I have the time for my new besties. All walks and drop in visits will be carefully planned and fitted into the schedule. Please let me know your preferences on dealing with your pets as I would like to honour them. I have a car with back seat cover, hopefully will be able to upgrade to a van soon. I will make sure to check all doors and windows are closed and locked upon leaving.

About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, I always had a dog until 2019 when my sweet Rocky passed away of old age. As of 2025, I have taken care of: labradors, pomeranians, chihuahuas, chow chows, poodles, bulldogs, hounds (standard and saluki), daschunds, spaniels (cocker and english springer), cockapoos, labrapoos and terrier (yorkie, jack russell, scottish). I had cats (domestic longhair) when I was a teen and I know everything about them, also cared for stray kittens while I found them a forever home. I don’t have allergies. Right now, I don’t have a pet because I am fully committed to pet sitting but my husband and I consider our neighbor’s cat as ours lol! I work from home so your lovely pet will have all my attention! I don’t have children or other big responsibilities at the moment. I was a lawyer in my home country so I’m very organized and reliable. I will follow the pet’s routine as instructed by their owner and adapt my home to follow the routine as close as possible, keeping everything neat and danger free for the pet.
