“Luka came for a pre visit to meet Betsy. Betsy took to Luka immediately and Luka had a very friendly, calm and confident approach with her. I feel very reassured for when Luka will be looking after Betsy for a few days”
“Kayli has been fantastic with my dog Willow 🐶 She was super patient while Willow took a bit of time to adjust and by the end of the weekend, Willow was extremely excited to see her. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments. I used to help take care of my family’s old, blind dog until he passed away, which taught me a lot about compassion and patience. Since then, I've assisted with other family dogs ranging from puppies to those over ten years old, each with their own unique behaviors, including anxiety and excitement. Recently, I helped my sister with her dog's litter of puppies, as well as caring for the mama dog. She decided to keep one of the puppies, and I’ve been actively involved in training her to establish a routine and become house-trained. Hi, I’m Amber! I’m a university student looking for a fulfilling way to spend my free time, and what better way than to do something I’ve grown up doing—caring for pets. I’m offering drop-ins during the weekdays and house sitting on weekends. I’ve always had a passion for animals and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I can’t wait to meet your furry family and provide the same love and care I would for my own! Safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for your pets. I’ll make sure they’re fed as needed or when requested, and I’ll give them plenty of attention—whether it’s playtime or cuddling, depending on what they prefer. I’m dedicated to meeting all of your pet's needs and ensuring that any specific instructions from you are followed carefully.
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up surrounded by them. Caring for pets is not just a job—it’s a passion. I provide reliable, loving, and attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. Your furry friend will be safe, happy, and treated like family in my care. As a grad student with a flexible schedule, pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love taking breaks from my studies to walk, play with, or care for dogs. Afternoons and weekends are ideal for me, making your pup’s care my priority. Whether in my home or yours, your dog’s safety and comfort come first. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. I follow your instructions closely, respect routines, and build trust through patience and care—ensuring your pup feels loved, safe, and right at home.
About: I've helped walk people's dogs since I was teenager from neighbours to family friends. I have expernce walking smaller dogs like Bichon Frisé and French bulldogs as well as bigger more high energy dogs like labradors and collies. I am patient and understand dog body language well, I know that every dog is diffrent and will always listen to the owner about what they need. I have experence pet sitting gerbils and currently have two guinea pigs. I am confident handeling small animals and can pet sit smaller animals as well. I am a student in Glasgow I commute in. This means I'm happy to house sit for people outside my area so long as I can get a bus or train into Glasgow from your house. I am in uni Tuesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday morning so cant do drop ins or walks at those times. When looking after animals in the owners home I will make sure to follow all instructions given and do whatever I can to make the animal feel comfortable. I appreciate all animals are diffrent and some may like sticking to a routine and may be nervous when their owner is away while others enjoy the change of routine. I am able to look after animals in my home however I have a pet guinea pig therfore I can't look after your dog if they have a high prey drive. I am happy to do meet ups before hand if youre unsure about this. I know that it is impossible to know everything about animals so I will always take the lead from you and follow any instructions given. It is always best to do things the dog is familiar with so I will use any equitment and/ or traning methods you prefer. I would always prefer to meet you and the animal before booking to discuss things more in person and ensure me and the animal get along.
“Tari and her partner were very kind and great with my dog. They were available to house sit on very short notice and Tari had very good communication throughout so I was relieved Brandy was in good hands. Brandy(who is quite selective on who he likes) loved them straight away, thanks again ☺️”

About: Hi! My name's Maria and I loveloveloooove dogs. All dogs. Dogs of all kinds. They're the absolute best. My earliest childhood memory is of my dad bringing a puppy home when I was about 2 years old. It was so fantastic that it brought my consciousness online. Basil lived all the way up to 20 years old and growing up, my family always kept dogs so I'm used to them being around. A house just doesn't feel like a home without one. In March this year my sweet boy, Dexter, had to be put to sleep. You can see him in my profile pictures, he was such a good boy (they're all good boys). There's a bit of a void now I don't have him around and it'd be lovely to take care of dogs again. As a dog lover I know how precious they are and I promise you I will treat them as my own, while they stay with me they'll be part of the family. As well as 30 years of experience being around dogs on a pretty much daily basis, I'm in the process of studying canine psychology so that I can offer training as part of my services. All dogs are different and many of them have 'quirks' that can make caring for them a little more complicated, I'd love to help with that side of things especially. I offer complete one-on-one care. Whilst with me, your dog will have my undivided company and attention. I offer a more focused service because it's better for certain dogs, particularly those who aren't used to being around multiple animals or who are perhaps just a bit needier and want more attention. This allows me to give 100% to the dogs I care for. I work from home as an artist (pet portraits mainly) so my schedule is very flexible and I'm always present to keep an eye on everything and keep them company. They won't be left unattended at any point really and I can accomodate most requests. There's a small, securely fenced garden at the back that I have access to, but there's also lots of green spaces pretty much on my doorstep. Since I'm working at home I can pop out multiple times whenever needed to let them do their business and have a sniff around - so the small garden is no bother at all. I can drive and I'm happy to have dogs in my car, so we can also drive out to explore some nice countryside walks. I'll send you regular updates and pictures so you know how they're doing and can have peace of mind.
About: I have been taking care of dogs of my own or for neighbours and friends since a young age, which developed into a small clientele of dogs whom I would regularly care for throughout my university studies. I have experience caring for puppies (and can confidently assist or continue puppy training) all the way to elderly dogs and am happy administering medication (non-injection). I like to chat with the owners before taking on a pet sitting job to ensure I know exactly what kind of care you expect from me and, more importantly, how I can make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your furry friend. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Dundee so have full autonomy over my schedule and can be at home or take time off during weekday day times. I have availability over the weekends and evenings and can arrange my work to fit around longer sits if need be. I have an enclosed garden which will be useable by your pet only. I live very close to big open spaces so can take them for any length or duration of exercise they might require. I tend to ask owners the specifics of how they prefer me to care for their pet. For example, any feeding/toilet/sleeping schedules, sleeping arrangements and whether or not they should be allowed on furniture/on beds etc. In my opinion the environment I can provide for your pet is largely up to you.
About: My journey as a pet sitter and dog walker started of in the cafe were I used to work. We had many costumers coming in with dogs and that's when I realised how much joy they brought me. I started offering my coworkers and my regular customers to look after their pets whenever they needed me to. This way I gained an experience in working with various types of dogs and learnt to accommodate all of them in a unique way. I have experience working with dogs of various sizes, special needs dogs, rescues, socially anxious dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. I can assure you that your dog will feel safe, calm and happy with me :) I work in a coffee shop so my work schedule isn't very busy and changes often. Please contact me to arrange time that suits you! I feel dog's needs and limits. I can assure that I'll do my best so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I will take into account all the features of your pet and all your requirements as to how you would like your pet to spend time with me. To ensure comfort and safety, I always request meet and greet with new customers. Unfortunately I don’t take last minute bookings with new customers.

About: I’ve been caring for and walking dogs since I was 15, and at 16 I started my own small dog walking service for neighbours and friends. I’m still in touch with many of those dogs today and truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ve completed a HND in Animal Care, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs, including training as a key part of my course. This has given me a strong understanding of dog behaviour and how to work with dogs of different ages and temperaments. I’ve also completed an animal first aid course, so I’m confident carrying out basic first aid and staying calm in situations where a dog may need extra care. I’m very caring, down-to-earth, reliable, and trustworthy, and I always aim to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident. I’m always happy to answer any questions and keep you updated — and as I love photography, you can expect plenty of cute photos of your dog during our time together! Please just send a message with any questions or enquires you may have also happy to arrange a phone call if that’s easier! :) I currently work part-time and am finishing my studies, with my course ending in May, so I’ll have even more availability over the summer. Caring for animals is a huge part of my life, and I always make time for it because it’s something I genuinely love doing. My schedule is quite flexible during the week, and I also have good availability on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they receive consistent, reliable care and attention. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment whether caring for pets in my home or in a pet owner’s home. At my home, I have a fully fenced garden, giving pets a secure space to relax and play. I also don’t have any other cats or dogs, which can help pets feel more at ease, especially those who prefer a quieter environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I always stick closely to their usual routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment, whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company.
About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds through looking after family and friends dogs. They relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently at Abertay University studying Food, Nutrition, and Health. Therefore, i would love to take care of your pets in my spare time! I have a closed off garden to keep your dogs safe. I can easily crate your dogs also if that is what you would be looking to do.

Dundee dog owners share their Rover experiences
Natalia is amazing with dogs. It was clear as soon as she walked in that she had a huge amount of experience with dogs and she had total control. She gave me some useful advice about Cooper as he is suffering from hyper attachment after being rehomed by me recently. Cooper went on his walk quite happily with her.

Amazingly patient and really calm. My dog is anxious and is not usually used to people coming into his home and surrounding areas. Leah pre came to the house a few times for free, for my dog to get used to her - to build a relationships before the stay. I can’t recommend enough. In the end, my dog cash loved it.
