About: I'm Jess, and dogs are my absolute world. I've always had dogs in my life. As well as agility training, I'm also an experienced obedience handler, skills trainer and Pets as Therapy handler. I am an all-weather dog walker, offering tailored walks to suit your dogs needs. Whether it's a short round-the-block followed by fun and games at home, or a longer run to burn off some excess energy, there really is no walk too big or small. Experienced and confident with reactive dogs, sensitive dogs, high-energy dogs, and everything in between, I pride myself on my ability to understand dog behaviour. I will let your dog get to know me at their own pace, and only ever use positive, motivating, reward-based training. I cannot wait to meet you and your four-legged pals As a teacher my availability is pretty much matched to school term dates, with evenings, weekends and school holidays being the best times for me to visit, walk and look after your dogs. I'm delighted to be able to accommodate dog boarding and house-sitting so that you can provide your dogs with the bespoke care they need while you are away. For those that come to me I offer a lovely house with a secure garden, and a real home-from-home experience. Equally happy coming to you, I am a clean, tidy, quiet and respectful guest.

About: I’ve been mama to our sausage dog Hamish for seven years. He’s battled IVDD so I’m experienced in caring for IVDD survivors and understand the challenges small dogs face. I’ll give your small dog the care and attention it needs and will care for it as if it’s my own. Contact me for weekend availability as required. I might be able to accommodate some weekend stays / visits. I’m currently freelance and work from home. I set my own hours and totally flexible so I can look after up to two small dogs in my house giving them ample play time and pee breaks as needed. I live near fields and cute walking paths meaning your dog can enjoy all the smells of nature! For cats I can drop into your home for cuddles, comfort and chunkies. I have a secure garden for toilet breaks and plenty blankets and beds for naps. I have ramps up to the sofa and a no stair policy to protect delicate small dog backs - my dog is an IVDD survivor so safety in the home is really important to me.

About: I have experience in looking after dogs and cats for my friends and neighbours for consecutive days whilst they are away, as well as looking after my family's pets. I am all about love and attention making sure the furry friends are having fun, comfortable and have all their needs fulfilled. I am currently looking for employment and have lots of spare time to care for your furry friend. I am available to house sit if you are planning on being away or just to come round during the day. Whatever your needs I am sure to be able to satisfy them. I will care for your pet just as you would care for them. I will be available to contact at all times and will make sure to send you many pictures to update you on your fur baby throughout the day! About: As a part-time dog walker with a love for all animals, I ultimately aim to spend as much of my time as possible caring for them. I have a lifetime of experience caring for both cats and dogs, which has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the needs of different pets. With my own 3-year-old dog Milo, and 5 month puppy Maple, I’m skilled in managing the daily care routines of dogs of varying ages! Further, I now have experience in managing a multi-dog household, caring for dogs of different ages and managing both their expectations for a happy outcome. Pet care in my daily routine involves balancing my dog's needs. This includes exercise, feeding, training, and providing companionship, all while ensuring both pets feel secure, loved, and well-cared for. Ultimately, I stick to the dogs routine. It is so important that animals in my care receive the same level of attentiveness as they would their own owner. This involves feeding routine, walking, toilet breaks and play time.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs and cared for a variety of breeds throughout my life. While I don’t have professional dog sitting experience, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs as part of my family. I live with my husband, two children and our friendly family dog, who are all great with other dogs. Your dog will be welcomed into a loving home environment where they’ll receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and playtime. We have a good sized, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely explore and play throughout the day, as well as access to regular walks and plenty of opportunities for enrichment. I understand how important it is to know your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for, and I will treat your pet as if they were one of my own. As I work in education, I am primarily available for dog boarding and daycare during school holidays. During these periods, I am at home throughout the day, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise and care for your dog. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed and secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and enjoy time outdoors throughout the day. I share my home with a friendly, neutered Labrador cross German Wirehaired Pointer who is well socialised with other dogs. She is calm, respectful and understands when another dog would prefer their own space. I also have two dog-savvy children, aged 10 and 14, who have grown up around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. I appreciate that every dog is different and will work to maintain their usual routine as much as possible. If your dog is crate trained or uses a crate for rest, sleep or downtime, I am happy to accommodate this. I will provide a safe, loving family environment where your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment and care while you’re away.

About: I've been around animals all my life including 2 dogs and their long list of K9 friends! I also had a tortoise 🐢 who in the end needed additional care in the form or tube feeding. I can manage walks with dogs up to XL size and any additional needs I am capable of managing. I work sociable hours as a chef in a nursery so my working hours are totally consistent and for local client I can easily manage midday walks or letting your pet out. In the morning say around 0730 your pet will go out for a walk and bathroom run about. In the evenings say around say 1730 your pet will go out again for an evening run about before dinner at 1800. Any pets requested a supper or late evening meal will get them at their routine time. I have been in positions of trust in every job I've ever had. Being a key holder, supervisor and role model to a large team. I have developed a quiet and calm maturity that makes me a fantastic person to rely on and out your precious put into the care of.

About: I've had dogs all my life and currently have two friendly small recue dogs who get along well with other dogs. I'm a huge animal lover and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, making sure they're happy, comfortable and well cared for. I love being outdoors and going for long walks, so your dog can look forward to plenty of exercise, attention and enjoyable adventures. Having recently moved to Edinburgh and taken a break from teaching, I have lots of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pets throughout the day. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members, and I will care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, loved and happy while you are away. I will send plenty of updates too. I'm an early riser so befornmy morning coffee I will take the dogs out for a 45 minute walk. When we come back we have a cuddle on the sofa while I have my morning coffee. I will be home with them most of the day and if I am going anywhere my partner works from home so she will be home with them instead. I will take them out again between 3-5 for a longer walk between 1 - 2 hours long depending on what dogs I have an whether they prefer longer or shorter walks. I have a fully fenced garden and two friendly dogs. One can be initially grumpy but he's 9 now so soon gets over it. I will love your pet as if they were my own and they will soon become part of the family.

I live on a ground floor flat with a garden connection where your dog can play safetly with me between walks in a park. Also I am able to look after your fav in your own home. * I am less flexible now, because my work requires to be in the office more often. About: I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages from puppies and kittens to senior pets. I am a qualified veterinary surgeon on a break before starting work in September. Happy to take pets with medical needs e.g. diabetic freestyle libres, medications etc I already pet sit a friends dog on an ad-hoc basis and have done for over a year. I get out and about and have plenty of places to walk dogs near me. I'm currently off work as I am taking a break before starting work as a vet in September time. Can flex routine to suit pet's individual needs. I have a fenced garden and lots of space for walks etc nearby. Plenty of pet accessible space in the house and they could even have their own room to sleep in if they preferred.

About: I have been pet sitting for the last 20 years, caring for friends and family members loved ones. I have had dogs all of my life until 2020 when my last boy went on to puppy heaven. My dogs and the dogs I have watched range from small Bichon Frise to large English Sheepdogs. From as energetic as boxers to as chill as a Pomeranian. My love for dogs has no bounds. I am equipped to handle puppies to senior dogs. All breeds are welcomed. I look forward to caring after your dogs until I decide to get my own one again. I am currently working from home full time therefore my schedule is quite open. I can easily make visits during the work days or house your loved one during that time as well. I do not have any dogs nor any pets in my home. I have a fenced in shared garden that is lovely for dogs to enjoy.

Previously, I was a senior trainer/coach with the Dogs Trust running training classes with Dog School for 4 years. Prior to my work with dogs, I was a Zookeeper for 12 years. My passion has always been in animal welfare and behaviour. Ethics and welfare are my highest priority for animals in my care. I am committed to using safe and comfortable equipment, building a bond with your dog, and having a positive relationship. I have a deep understanding of dog body language. I know what issues to look out for during socialising together and or with other dogs on our walks. I also ensure dogs have breed fulfilment and mental stimulation as well as exercise. My walks will have a maximum of 4 dogs. (One of which will always be mine) The dogs travel in my car, either on the back seats with seatbelts or in the boot separated by safe secure dividers. They won’t have to travel in a van with lots of other noisy dogs. I do some training on the walks such as focus, calmness, lead walking skills, recall, polite greetings, emotional regulation. Providing the dogs a sniffy walk so they use their brains and energy wisely I am fully insured through my business. I am registered as a dog walker with Edinburgh council Undergoing dog First Aid training. I look forward to hearing from you! I have lots of lunchtime slots for dogs whose owners are working in the day. They can join for 1 hour, or double up for a longer walk As an accredited positive reinforcement trainer, I will always treat your dog with respect and gentleness. Dogs do not need a firm hand, nor is being a pack leader up to date theory. Dogs deserve understanding and effective science backed training techniques, no matter the size or breed. I will always ensure their equipment is safe and checked before a walk. Trackers are very welcome!

About: I’ve had a dog for most of my life from as young as I can remember! After losing her a few years ago, I have always missed having that little bit of extra company. I have a genuine love for all dogs and provide safe, reliable, and personalized walks, with lots of care and patience. I treat every dog like my own and always aim to give owners peace of mind, with plenty of love, exercise and attention. I currently work 3 days a week, so I have plenty of free time for dog walks! Weather that’s in the morning, afternoons or evenings of my days off. I like exploring new places and parts of town, so having a furry friend to keep me company is just what I’m needing. I have a fenced balcony but a wide range of greenery around me. Pets would never be left unattended in my company to ensure they are always safe.
