“Allison took amazing care of our dog who can sometimes be a little scared and has separation anxiety. We would love to book Allison again to watch over our dog.”

“Victoria and her family was fabulous with our dog. They were very attentive and wanting to know everything she needs to stay comfortably. My dog had an operation two weeks before her stay and they truly paid attention as to what will be best for her. The children showered her with love, but were respectful not to overstimulate. The back garden is large, but Rowan was mainly taken for walks, as she was not allow to play too vigorously due to the surgery. She did not want to leave upon my return! Also, I am grateful to Victoria for one favour she did, due to a small mistake I have made.”

“Debbie was nothing short of wonderful with my dogs. They were so happy and excited to go back to her the second time, which says everything about how comfortable and cared for they felt in her home. They've stayed with her for a full week before as well, and every time I’ve had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such kind and capable hands. She is genuinely one of the sweetest, gentlest people I’ve met, and it’s clear how much love and care she gives the dogs she looks after. She's also very experienced with dogs, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was so grateful for how well she cared for them. I would recommend her without hesitation and will be using her services again!!”

“We recently left our cocker spaniel, Poppy, with Caity for her first overnight stay, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Caity was warm, friendly and welcoming from the outset, and it was clear she has a great deal of experience with dogs. Poppy settled in really well and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her time there. When we picked her up, she was relaxed, happy and completely at ease, which is always the best indication that she has been well cared for. It gave us real peace of mind knowing that Poppy was in such capable and caring hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caity to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced dog sitter, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future. 🐾❤️”

“Mike and Lorraine are excellent, our dog Baxter is so excited when we drop him off so we know they take great care of him. He also needs medication at set times and Mike always lets us know he’s had it so we don’t have to worry.”

“Lesley was absolutely great. It was Leo's first time boarding anywhere and she made us feel at ease and relaxed about it all. She sent us photos and updates regularly and leo had a ball. Leo will be staying with lesley from now on 🙂”

“Thank you so much Anne for taking such lovely care of our energetic, adolescent, oddball of a pup! We really appreciated getting updates and he clearly had a lovely weekend going on different adventures!! It’s clear Anne has lots of patience and love for all types of pups, putting in effort to understand their personality 🐶 Would definitely recommend to others!”

“Absolutely wonderful, we could not recommend Jessica more highly. She kept us informed of everything Skye was doing during our holiday, complete with really regular pictures and updates. When Skye developed a rash Jessica not only took Skye to the vets but by the time we were home, with the excellent care received from Jessica the rash had almost completely gone. For as long as Jessica has the availability and continues to board dogs she will be the only person we use.”

“What a superb service, the app is easy to use and informative. Jessica the dog sitter was amazing with my elderly border terrier, I received several photos and updates throughout her stay which removed any stress I may have had while attending a family funeral. I would highly recommend Jessica.”

“I Was a bit apprehensive at the thought of leaving our wee dog Harvey for a weekend break away. Julie and Steve put my mind at ease offering me the opportunity to come early to see him settled. They are a lovely couple and completely put our mind at ease. They took great care of him and provided regular updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and would highly recommend them to others!”

“Rusty had a great time with Kirsty, she was really welcoming and caring with him. She must’ve kept him entertained as he crashed out the full attention when we got home! Talks for taking such good care of him”

“I can’t thank Danielle and Dougie enough, Roxy is a nervous dog which makes me nervous leaving her with anyone but they very quickly put our minds at ease when we met up for an introduction. Then Roxy has had a fantastic weekend with them I actually think she is missing them since she came home ! Wonderful communication and photos I would 100% recommend them to watch your dog, Roxy will definitely be going back to see them soon !!”

“Clara looked after my dog Chispa very well. Chispa is a rescue dog and can become anxious when left alone. Clara sent photos of Chispa at home and out for a walk where she looked very happy.”

“What a wonderful family to have trusted our boy with. From the moment I met them prior to the booking to the moment he was dropped off, I knew he’d be safe and happy. Lots of dog caring knowledge, and not just the playful stuff - they know how to read and anticipate, too. Patrice was so well looked after, even down to being given a paddling pool to cool his paws if needed in the hot sun. While we rarely need sitters for Patrice, it’s great to know this is an option! Thank you Pamela and Walter 😊🐾”

“Chloe was absolutely fantastic. She was very professional, warm, and made our dog feel right at home. She sent daily updates which kept us at ease while we were away. We would definitely book with her in the future.”

“Rekha was absolutely fantastic with Eric. From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. She sent regular updates and lovely photos, which was so reassuring, and it was clear he was having the best time. From the photos it looks like Eric was taken on lots of long walks and he came back happy, relaxed, and very well looked after, honestly, I’m not sure he wanted to come home! I would 100% recommend Rekha to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter, and we will definitely be using her again.”

“This was the first time our dog had stayed away at a boarders. We were all very apprehensive about leaving him but he had a ball. Monies kept us up to date with daily photos. Pablo had the best time. I will recommend Monika and definitely use again. 5 stars 🌟”

“Avril was extremely attentive and quick to respond. She also sent a lot of photos and it seemed like Ozzy had a lot of fun. I would certainly recommend Avril to another pet owner!”

“Cristina was a fantastic cat sitter and really put my mind at ease so I could enjoy my holiday knowing Molly was well cared for. “Alisson was great with my 4.5 month old puppy. This was my first time using Rover and my puppy’s first time staying in another place without me. Alisson was very patient with Rosie, even when she was nervous and camped out by the door. She took Rosie on walks to get her more comfortable and communicated how the visit went. By the end of the session, Rosie had opened up to Alisson and show signs of being more comfortable. I have an overnight trip planned soon and will be bringing Rosie back for care!”

“Thankyou so much Derek, Stella had the best time today. A little day time before the long holiday that she is booked in for. Thankyou so much The videos and photos where perfect for an over anxious mama.”

About: I’ve been mama to our sausage dog Hamish for seven years. He’s battled IVDD so I’m experienced in caring for IVDD survivors and understand the challenges small dogs face. I’ll give your small dog the care and attention it needs and will care for it as if it’s my own. Contact me for weekend availability as required. I might be able to accommodate some weekend stays / visits. I’m currently freelance and work from home. I set my own hours and totally flexible so I can look after up to two small dogs in my house giving them ample play time and pee breaks as needed. I live near fields and cute walking paths meaning your dog can enjoy all the smells of nature! For cats I can drop into your home for cuddles, comfort and chunkies. I have a secure garden for toilet breaks and plenty blankets and beds for naps. I have ramps up to the sofa and a no stair policy to protect delicate small dog backs - my dog is an IVDD survivor so safety in the home is really important to me.
“Caity was very friendly. Our dog took to her immediately. We felt confident leaving him with her. Communication was great whilst our dog was with her with great photos. We could tell from these photos how settled he was. We would definitely recommend Caity and will definitely use her again.”

About: I had a menagerie of pets growing up, from hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, to two family dogs. Raising a family of my own now, I’d love for my children to experience a live-in dog; from cuddles to walks, poo-bags to slobber. My children are very affectionate but respectful, and would love the opportunity to learn some of the responsibilities attached to having a pet at home. We have a large garden, surrounded by large conifers. Unfortunately it is not entirely fenced off, and we are prone to wildlife such as foxes and hedgehogs frequenting, as well as neighbouring cats, so good recall would be required off-lead. However, we will also include plenty of walks 😊. I work within primary school hours, primarily from home. So could include walks to/from school, alongside a lunch time or evening walk. Being at home all day, your pet would never be alone. They would have plenty of opportunities for cuddles, and play when the kids come home. We can tailor the care of your pet to your individual needs/energy levels. Some of our intended care plans have been described above, but happy to discuss in more detail, on contact.

“Stephanie is so lovely with Lumi when I needed day care a few times! Stephanie is easy to communicate with and Lumi clearly had the best time. She came home happy and tired in the best ways. I'll definitely keep booking with Stephanie.”

“I have no hesitation in recommending Heather to look after your pet. We met her with our dog, Waffle the day before and took a walk and he was immediately at ease with her. Drop off and pick up went very smoothly and Heather sent a couple of photos during the day which is always much appreciated. She is calm and assured and patient. Many thanks Heather - we would be very happy to book again!”

“Une formidable expérience pour Athéna avec Daniel. Il est très accueillant et a très bien pris soin de notre chien pour la nuit. Très bonne communication malgré la barrière de la langue et très arrangeant. Nous recommandons vivement !”

About: I grew up with a stupidly friendly Rottweiler, and plenty cats. While my family didn't get another dog after Anushka, we did rescue many stray cats, giving them the kind of life their domestic counterparts would have been jealous of. After years of living in rental properties, it was only upon buying our own house that we got the chance to get pets. We picked up sibling kittens, Billie and Weegie, from Glasgow soon after moving in. Then came Cooper, the single most handsome chocolate Labrador in the whole world, and Yakul, a Red Setter with no shortage of character. We raised and trained both dogs, with help from a local professional, to a respectable standard. Neither is going to win Crufts anytime soon, but they have decent recall. It's a bit of a bureaucratic inconvenience, but I tend to go by my middle name, Richard. Rest assured, the Konrad in my profile and the Richard in my testimonies/reviews are the same person, Konrad Richard Taeuber. I work from home several days a week. While the 2 cats come and go as they please, the 2 dogs, Yakul and Cooper, are my co-workers. I generally take the doggos for a walk in the afternoon, and then again in the evening. We have a reasonably small-medium sized garden with plenty of green space to explore. It's more of a racetrack than circuit, but it's a zoomie-friendly space. Walls and fences separate our garden from neighbours. The fence could be jumped by a particularly leggy dog, but we haven't had any issues yet.
“Biffy was well looked after by Samuel. I received regular updates and photos from Samuel. This was the first time Biffy had been looked after by Samuel and i would have no hesitation in asking Samuel if he would have Biffy again.”

“Monika was great with our anxious labradoodle. Photos of the day's activities were sent which was reassuring. Ivy had a good day with a big walk and plenty running around, then some relaxation time on the sofa. Looking forward to more stays at Monika's”

“My pup came back shattered and satisfied! Lysimachos was super flexible and willing to accommodate, asked me about any of my pup’s needs and kept me very well informed through the day with pictures and videos, he did a wonderful job!”

“Naomi has been life saver and really great. She knows what she's doing, and was very accomodating for a first time and last minute booking. Caoimhe had a great day and I had peace of mind. Would 100% call for her services again. Thanks again Naomi !”

“Tilly has been fantastic with Milo and he has become comfortable with her in such a short space of time. He is excited to see her when he goes to stay with her. She keeps me updated throughout the day and sends plenty of pictures of Milo relaxing or enjoying himself. Her communication is great. I feel Milo is in good hands when he stays with her.”

“Iona and Gregor were once again fabulous with Fin! They were available last minute which I really appreciated. They always send me professional level photos of Fin that I love receiving! They couldn’t be nicer, more accommodating or more patient. I’ve already got them booked again!”

She kept in contact with us, which enabled us to really enjoy our day knowing Molly was well cared for. Thank you Allie. We will be back next year to see the golf again.”

About: As a part-time dog walker with a love for all animals, I ultimately aim to spend as much of my time as possible caring for them. I have a lifetime of experience caring for both cats and dogs, which has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the needs of different pets. With my own 3-year-old dog Milo, and 5 month puppy Maple, I’m skilled in managing the daily care routines of dogs of varying ages! Further, I now have experience in managing a multi-dog household, caring for dogs of different ages and managing both their expectations for a happy outcome. Pet care in my daily routine involves balancing my dog's needs. This includes exercise, feeding, training, and providing companionship, all while ensuring both pets feel secure, loved, and well-cared for. Ultimately, I stick to the dogs routine. It is so important that animals in my care receive the same level of attentiveness as they would their own owner. This involves feeding routine, walking, toilet breaks and play time.

About: Hi, I’m Diana! I’m 28 years old, from Toronto, Canada and have been living in Edinburgh for 3 years now. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Growing up, I had a beautiful Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Murphy, followed by a Springer Spaniel and Jack Russell Terrier named Buttons and TinTin :) Now living in Leith, I am just a short walk to the Links park and have an enclosed private garden — perfect for doggy walks and playing outside! I’d love to look after your dog for daycare and/or overnight/extended stays. I work from home full-time Monday to Friday giving me the flexibility to pop out for long walks, pee breaks, and outdoor playtime any time of day. I have a fully fenced private garden that dogs can have access to all day while I’m home. I live in a townhouse with 3 floors where dogs have space to roam.

“I am more than happy to leave Anko with Sarah. She has been walking her for me for a while now, and Anko loves the attention, treats and play. And I get peace of mind and transparent communication.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was around 10 years old, including a Golden Retriever, Chihuahua, and other mixed breed small dogs. I’ve helped with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of attention and playtime. I’m patient, calm, and very responsible, and I always adapt to each dog’s personality and routine. I especially enjoy caring for small and medium dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As an MSc student, I have a flexible schedule outside of classes, which allows me to spend quality time with pets during the day and evenings. I plan my activities around their feeding, walking, and play routines so they receive proper care and attention. I enjoy spending time at home, so pets will not be left alone for long periods, and I can provide consistent companionship and supervision. I'm mostly free on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep pets in safe, clean, and calm environments. I pay close attention to doors, food safety, and any special needs or medications. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s usual routine to reduce stress. I believe trust is very important, so I communicate clearly and provide updates so owners feel confident their pets are safe and happy.
