“After leaving Buddy for the 1st time with John I was a bit anxious, but as soon as away I received updates and photos every 2nd day. Buddy was certainly having the time of his life and would not hesitate to use John again!!”

“Our Lab Ellie had a wonderful stay with Michael and Lorraine while we were on holiday. After our meet and greet, Ellie dragged us to the house when we dropped her off to say hello, which is always a good sign. I was kept updated with pics and I was confident she was in good hands as they are both experienced dog people, familiar with a variety of breeds. Thanks loads, Ellie will definitely be back next time we have a holiday.”

“I'm beyond grateful for the exceptional care you provide to my beloved Charlie! 🐾❤️ Your dedication and love for him shine through in every visit, and it's a huge relief to know he's in such capable and caring hands. Charlie adores you and feels completely at home in your company and at your house – his happy wags and relaxed demeanor say it all! 🙏 Thank you for being such a trusted and wonderful dog walker, Kirsty. You're a gem, and I appreciate you more than words can say. 🌟”

“Thank you so much Angela and Derek for looking after Mac overnight. I knew instantly on meeting you both that he would be in safe hands and would be well looked after. He has had a blast with you both and been thoroughly spoilt and now home relaxed and in great spirits. Once again thank you both so much for looking after my boy!”

“Victoria and her family was fabulous with our dog. They were very attentive and wanting to know everything she needs to stay comfortably. My dog had an operation two weeks before her stay and they truly paid attention as to what will be best for her. The children showered her with love, but were respectful not to overstimulate. The back garden is large, but Rowan was mainly taken for walks, as she was not allow to play too vigorously due to the surgery. She did not want to leave upon my return! Also, I am grateful to Victoria for one favour she did, due to a small mistake I have made.”

“Anne was amazing . Our wee dog Maci is a very fussy eater and is also recovering from a back injury. Anne couldn't do enough to make Macis stay comfortable ,puting down extra mats to keep her from slipping and also cooking for her. She kept in touch and allowed us a stress free time away. She brushed her too ! Maci looked great and when we picked her up .. can't thank her enough.”

“Amazing! Jennifer was great at communicating from start to finish, which made everything really easy and reassuring. I felt completely comfortable leaving Beau overnight, and he was safe, well looked after and happy to gets lots of cuddles. I'd definitely book again and highly recommend Jennifer!”

“First time we've homeboarded our 6year old beagle & he had a fab time! Settled in well with Jess & her 2 dogs and soon made himself at home. We loved getting the daily updates, pic & videos of their walks and home time naps and snuggles. Jess interacted with Skylar, played with him and looked after him very well indeed. There walks were enjoyed in a variety of environments & his off lead time great fun. He responded well to her commands and Jess had a wonderful gentle way with him which he responded to in kind. Reay happy with the care & service Jess provided”

“Ricardo looked after Leo for two days for us and it seems like they had a great time together. He updated us with pictures of their many walks together and when Leo came home he was a happy and tired pup. We would definitely be happy leaving Leo in Ricardo's care again!”

They've stayed with her for a full week before as well, and every time I’ve had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such kind and capable hands. About: I grew up with an excitable boxer and love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ideally would be delighted to look after dogs that are friendly with children as I often look after my niece and nephew. I work full time hybrid-remote. My working hours are between 0700 and 1500. I would be in office on Tuesdays and Fridays, but would be home from 4pm onwards. I have a fenced garden and enjoy going on long walks once I finish work as I regularly take part in walking challenges. I have no others pets at the moment and we are currently child-free though I’m sure my young niece and nephew would love to join us for walks.

About: I had a menagerie of pets growing up, from hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, to two family dogs. Raising a family of my own now, I’d love for my children to experience a live-in dog; from cuddles to walks, poo-bags to slobber. My children are very affectionate but respectful, and would love the opportunity to learn some of the responsibilities attached to having a pet at home. We have a large garden, surrounded by large conifers. Unfortunately it is not entirely fenced off, and we are prone to wildlife such as foxes and hedgehogs frequenting, as well as neighbouring cats, so good recall would be required off-lead. However, we will also include plenty of walks 😊. I work within primary school hours, primarily from home. So could include walks to/from school, alongside a lunch time or evening walk. Being at home all day, your pet would never be alone. They would have plenty of opportunities for cuddles, and play when the kids come home. We can tailor the care of your pet to your individual needs/energy levels. Some of our intended care plans have been described above, but happy to discuss in more detail, on contact.

“Hunter was nervous about his visit but was soon put at ease by you guys. He’s a loud dog and challenging at times but you both do a wonderful job caring for him and he looked like he had so much fun on his walks and getting cuddles! You’re both saints and we would definitely use you again!”

“Audrey seemed to have the best time with Daisy & family! She was very well looked after, and Daisy made sure to check any of Audrey’s needs beforehand! Great updates, and we would definitely use again! :)”

About: I grew up with a stupidly friendly Rottweiler, and plenty cats. While my family didn't get another dog after Anushka, we did rescue many stray cats, giving them the kind of life their domestic counterparts would have been jealous of. After years of living in rental properties, it was only upon buying our own house that we got the chance to get pets. We picked up sibling kittens, Billie and Weegie, from Glasgow soon after moving in. Then came Cooper, the single most handsome chocolate Labrador in the whole world, and Yakul, a Red Setter with no shortage of character. We raised and trained both dogs, with help from a local professional, to a respectable standard. Neither is going to win Crufts anytime soon, but they have decent recall. It's a bit of a bureaucratic inconvenience, but I tend to go by my middle name, Richard. Rest assured, the Konrad in my profile and the Richard in my testimonies/reviews are the same person, Konrad Richard Taeuber. I work from home several days a week. While the 2 cats come and go as they please, the 2 dogs, Yakul and Cooper, are my co-workers. I generally take the doggos for a walk in the afternoon, and then again in the evening. We have a reasonably small-medium sized garden with plenty of green space to explore. It's more of a racetrack than circuit, but it's a zoomie-friendly space. Walls and fences separate our garden from neighbours. The fence could be jumped by a particularly leggy dog, but we haven't had any issues yet.
“Using Rover for the first time was daunting, but I trust our Knuffel’s instinct — and he walked straight into Kirsty and David’s house and immediately flopped over for a belly rub. Communication with Kirsty was easy, and she was wonderfully flexible with pick‑up time, which made the whole experience even smoother. Getting pictures throughout the day of him in his usual happy pose — paws in the air, fast asleep — was reassuring and meant we could enjoy our day without worrying. We’ll definitely rebook with Kirsty and David again.”

“First time using Rover in Edinburgh & I quite possibly picked the perfect person to look after Mylo! Would highly recommend for day care if youre worried as Siyi will always update you with pictures and videos. Thank you so much for looking after Mylo on such short notice & will definitely be using your service again!”

“Hannah looked after my three-month-old Labrador, Buddy, on three separate days this week due to work commitments, and I honestly could not be happier with the care he received from Hannah and her family. Hannah sent regular photos, videos, and updates throughout the day, which clearly showed the genuine care and attention Buddy was being given. He was happy, settled, and clearly loved while in Hannah’s home, which gave me complete peace of mind. Buddy was treated just as well as her own dog. I would highly recommend Hannah and will definitely be booking again whenever daycare is required.”

About: As a part-time dog walker with a love for all animals, I ultimately aim to spend as much of my time as possible caring for them. I have a lifetime of experience caring for both cats and dogs, which has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the needs of different pets. With my own 3-year-old dog Milo, and 5 month puppy Maple, I’m skilled in managing the daily care routines of dogs of varying ages! Further, I now have experience in managing a multi-dog household, caring for dogs of different ages and managing both their expectations for a happy outcome. Pet care in my daily routine involves balancing my dog's needs. This includes exercise, feeding, training, and providing companionship, all while ensuring both pets feel secure, loved, and well-cared for. Ultimately, I stick to the dogs routine. It is so important that animals in my care receive the same level of attentiveness as they would their own owner. This involves feeding routine, walking, toilet breaks and play time.

About: I absolutely love dogs. I have had them since I was young. I've always looked after them when my parents were away or at work. I've also looked after friends pets when they were away which involved walking and feeding them. I have had quite large breeds of dogs and also looked after smaller breeds so I can look after any size. I am at university at the moment so it will have to fit around my timetable. I am happy to do anytime in between those times. You can message me with any queries and I will see if I can move my schedule around. I can spend alot of the day with the dog at the owners home and take them out for walks and feed them. I have a young dog so I am good with all ages. I can also do overnight stays.
“I cannot recommend Jassy highly enough! She is an absolute gem. My pup adores her and gets so excited every time she arrives. She’s incredibly caring and attentive, always ensuring my dog is safe, happy, and well-exercised.”

About: 1hr Lunchtime walks (Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays) Musselburgh, Joppa, portobello, Craigmillar, craigtinny, newcraighall, Duddingston etc. 2.5 hour group walk Mondays: Roslin/Loanhead/Bonnyrigg/Rosewell/oxgangs/ mortonhall/ morningside/ Fairmilehead Solo walk & Train in all above areas and central Edinburgh and Leith About me: I’m an accredited dog trainer with my business Bonnie Animal Training which has been running since summer 2025. Previously, I was a senior trainer/coach with the Dogs Trust running training classes with Dog School for 4 years. Prior to my work with dogs, I was a Zookeeper for 12 years. My passion has always been in animal welfare and behaviour. Ethics and welfare are my highest priority for animals in my care. I am committed to using safe and comfortable equipment, building a bond with your dog, and having a positive relationship. I have a deep understanding of dog body language. I know what issues to look out for during socialising together and or with other dogs on our walks. I also ensure dogs have breed fulfilment and mental stimulation as well as exercise. My walks will have a maximum of 4 dogs. (One of which will always be mine) The dogs travel in my car, either on the back seats with seatbelts or in the boot separated by safe secure dividers. They won’t have to travel in a van with lots of other noisy dogs. I do some training on the walks such as focus, calmness, lead walking skills, recall, polite greetings, emotional regulation. Providing the dogs a sniffy walk so they use their brains and energy wisely I am fully insured through my business. I am registered as a dog walker with Edinburgh council Undergoing dog First Aid training. I look forward to hearing from you! I have lots of lunchtime slots for dogs whose owners are working in the day. They can join for 1 hour, or double up for a longer walk As an accredited positive reinforcement trainer, I will always treat your dog with respect and gentleness. Dogs do not need a firm hand, nor is being a pack leader up to date theory. Dogs deserve understanding and effective science backed training techniques, no matter the size or breed. I will always ensure their equipment is safe and checked before a walk. Trackers are very welcome!

“Caity is great! Fred seems to have enjoyed himself and Caity sent me daily updates. I felt Fred was very well looked after and very safe with Caity. I will definitely book Caity again!”

“Ricardo looked after Leo for two days for us and it seems like they had a great time together. He updated us with pictures of their many walks together and when Leo came home he was a happy and tired pup. We would definitely be happy leaving Leo in Ricardo's care again!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs and cared for a variety of breeds throughout my life. While I don’t have professional dog sitting experience, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs as part of my family. I live with my husband, two children and our friendly family dog, who are all great with other dogs. Your dog will be welcomed into a loving home environment where they’ll receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and playtime. We have a good sized, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely explore and play throughout the day, as well as access to regular walks and plenty of opportunities for enrichment. I understand how important it is to know your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for, and I will treat your pet as if they were one of my own. As I work in education, I am primarily available for dog boarding and daycare during school holidays. During these periods, I am at home throughout the day, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise and care for your dog. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed and secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and enjoy time outdoors throughout the day. I share my home with a friendly, neutered Labrador cross German Wirehaired Pointer who is well socialised with other dogs. She is calm, respectful and understands when another dog would prefer their own space. I also have two dog-savvy children, aged 10 and 14, who have grown up around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. I appreciate that every dog is different and will work to maintain their usual routine as much as possible. If your dog is crate trained or uses a crate for rest, sleep or downtime, I am happy to accommodate this. I will provide a safe, loving family environment where your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment and care while you’re away.

“Debbie was nothing short of wonderful with my dogs. They were so happy and excited to go back to her the second time, which says everything about how comfortable and cared for they felt in her home. They've stayed with her for a full week before as well, and every time I’ve had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such kind and capable hands. She is genuinely one of the sweetest, gentlest people I’ve met, and it’s clear how much love and care she gives the dogs she looks after. She's also very experienced with dogs, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was so grateful for how well she cared for them. I would recommend her without hesitation and will be using her services again!!”

He is quite nervous when meeting new people but they gave him space until he felt comfortable with them. They took him for lots of lovely walks and gave him lots of play time in the garden.
