About: I had a menagerie of pets growing up, from hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, to two family dogs. Raising a family of my own now, I’d love for my children to experience a live-in dog; from cuddles to walks, poo-bags to slobber. My children are very affectionate but respectful, and would love the opportunity to learn some of the responsibilities attached to having a pet at home. We have a large garden, surrounded by large conifers. Unfortunately it is not entirely fenced off, and we are prone to wildlife such as foxes and hedgehogs frequenting, as well as neighbouring cats, so good recall would be required off-lead. However, we will also include plenty of walks 😊. I work within primary school hours, primarily from home. So could include walks to/from school, alongside a lunch time or evening walk. Being at home all day, your pet would never be alone. They would have plenty of opportunities for cuddles, and play when the kids come home. We can tailor the care of your pet to your individual needs/energy levels.Some of our intended care plans have been described above, but happy to discuss in more detail, on contact.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 15 years, my Dalmatian; Sophie is turning 13 soon, she’s been with me since she was 9 weeks old. I did obedience and tricks training with her. I’m available for boarding in the weekend or during the week after 6 pm. My partner and I work on week days, we are hybrid and work from home half of the time. My partner can also take your dog with himself when he has to go out. He is a sales manager and visits bars, restaurants, dogs’ favourite places! Evenings and weekends are my turn to care for your pup. We have a fenced garden behind our flat. We live on the beach, can provide plenty of long walks as needed. About: I am a veterinary science student which means I have a large variety of animal experience and love working with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have worked at doggie day-care doing holiday cover, working with many dogs of different sizes and temperaments. About: I'm am a retiring Vet Nurse with over 15years experience dealing with all animals large and small. I have two cats and two guinea pigs myself so small furries welcome. As I'm retiring I will have loads of free time to look after animals and tailor the schedule that works around there feeding and exercise routines I would arrive at the time scheduled after feeding and bathroom breaks I would then play with your animals or take them for walks depending on the animal and its requirements.

About: As a part-time dog walker with a love for all animals, I ultimately aim to spend as much of my time as possible caring for them. I have a lifetime of experience caring for both cats and dogs, which has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the needs of different pets. With my own 3-year-old dog Milo, and 5 month puppy Maple, I’m skilled in managing the daily care routines of dogs of varying ages! Further, I now have experience in managing a multi-dog household, caring for dogs of different ages and managing both their expectations for a happy outcome. Pet care in my daily routine involves balancing my dog's needs. I also have two dog-savvy children, aged 10 and 14, who have grown up around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. I appreciate that every dog is different and will work to maintain their usual routine as much as possible. If your dog is crate trained or uses a crate for rest, sleep or downtime, I am happy to accommodate this. I will provide a safe, loving family environment where your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment and care while you’re away.

About: I have volunteered in three dog shelters over the years and walked a lot of difficult dogs living in the neighbourhood or sometimes helped out with work colleagues taking in their animals while they are away on holidays. I work from home most of the time and currently between jobs and have allowance for all sorts of short term assignments. I currently have a cat I look after and can have dogs staying over at my place if they are unconcerned with a cat being present. I grew up with all sorts of animals small and large and can deal with even difficult animals having spent a lifetime watching their body language and finding a healthy way to communicate to make them feel happy.

About: I've had dogs all my life and currently have two friendly small recue dogs who get along well with other dogs. I'm a huge animal lover and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, making sure they're happy, comfortable and well cared for. Having recently moved to Edinburgh and taken a break from teaching, I have lots of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pets throughout the day. I'm an early riser so befornmy morning coffee I will take the dogs out for a 45 minute walk. When we come back we have a cuddle on the sofa while I have my morning coffee. I will be home with them most of the day and if I am going anywhere my partner works from home so she will be home with them instead. I will take them out again between 3-5 for a longer walk between 1 - 2 hours long depending on what dogs I have an whether they prefer longer or shorter walks. I have a fully fenced garden and two friendly dogs. One can be initially grumpy but he's 9 now so soon gets over it. I will love your pet as if they were my own and they will soon become part of the family.
