About: I had a menagerie of pets growing up, from hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, to two family dogs. Raising a family of my own now, I’d love for my children to experience a live-in dog; from cuddles to walks, poo-bags to slobber. My children are very affectionate but respectful, and would love the opportunity to learn some of the responsibilities attached to having a pet at home. We have a large garden, surrounded by large conifers. Unfortunately it is not entirely fenced off, and we are prone to wildlife such as foxes and hedgehogs frequenting, as well as neighbouring cats, so good recall would be required off-lead. However, we will also include plenty of walks 😊. I work within primary school hours, primarily from home. So could include walks to/from school, alongside a lunch time or evening walk. Being at home all day, your pet would never be alone. They would have plenty of opportunities for cuddles, and play when the kids come home. We can tailor the care of your pet to your individual needs/energy levels. Some of our intended care plans have been described above, but happy to discuss in more detail, on contact.
“Allison did a great job watching my dog, listening to my dog’s particular needs, habits, and preferences. I forgot to provide food and Allison kindly shared kibble she keeps as backup. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos. I’d”

“Caity was very friendly. Our dog took to her immediately. We felt confident leaving him with her. Communication was great whilst our dog was with her with great photos. We could tell from these photos how settled he was. We would definitely recommend Caity and will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve been mama to our sausage dog Hamish for seven years. He’s battled IVDD so I’m experienced in caring for IVDD survivors and understand the challenges small dogs face. I’ll give your small dog the care and attention it needs and will care for it as if it’s my own. Contact me for weekend availability as required. I might be able to accommodate some weekend stays / visits. I’m currently freelance and work from home. I set my own hours and totally flexible so I can look after up to two small dogs in my house giving them ample play time and pee breaks as needed. I live near fields and cute walking paths meaning your dog can enjoy all the smells of nature! For cats I can drop into your home for cuddles, comfort and chunkies. I have a secure garden for toilet breaks and plenty blankets and beds for naps. I have ramps up to the sofa and a no stair policy to protect delicate small dog backs - my dog is an IVDD survivor so safety in the home is really important to me.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs and cared for a variety of breeds throughout my life. While I don’t have professional dog sitting experience, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs as part of my family. I live with my husband, two children and our friendly family dog, who are all great with other dogs. Your dog will be welcomed into a loving home environment where they’ll receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and playtime. We have a good sized, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely explore and play throughout the day, as well as access to regular walks and plenty of opportunities for enrichment. I understand how important it is to know your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for, and I will treat your pet as if they were one of my own. As I work in education, I am primarily available for dog boarding and daycare during school holidays. During these periods, I am at home throughout the day, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise and care for your dog. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed and secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and enjoy time outdoors throughout the day. I share my home with a friendly, neutered Labrador cross German Wirehaired Pointer who is well socialised with other dogs. She is calm, respectful and understands when another dog would prefer their own space. I also have two dog-savvy children, aged 10 and 14, who have grown up around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. I appreciate that every dog is different and will work to maintain their usual routine as much as possible. If your dog is crate trained or uses a crate for rest, sleep or downtime, I am happy to accommodate this. I will provide a safe, loving family environment where your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment and care while you’re away.

About: I grew up with a stupidly friendly Rottweiler, and plenty cats. While my family didn't get another dog after Anushka, we did rescue many stray cats, giving them the kind of life their domestic counterparts would have been jealous of. After years of living in rental properties, it was only upon buying our own house that we got the chance to get pets. We picked up sibling kittens, Billie and Weegie, from Glasgow soon after moving in. Then came Cooper, the single most handsome chocolate Labrador in the whole world, and Yakul, a Red Setter with no shortage of character. We raised and trained both dogs, with help from a local professional, to a respectable standard. Neither is going to win Crufts anytime soon, but they have decent recall. It's a bit of a bureaucratic inconvenience, but I tend to go by my middle name, Richard. Rest assured, the Konrad in my profile and the Richard in my testimonies/reviews are the same person, Konrad Richard Taeuber. I work from home several days a week. While the 2 cats come and go as they please, the 2 dogs, Yakul and Cooper, are my co-workers. I generally take the doggos for a walk in the afternoon, and then again in the evening. We have a reasonably small-medium sized garden with plenty of green space to explore. It's more of a racetrack than circuit, but it's a zoomie-friendly space. Walls and fences separate our garden from neighbours. The fence could be jumped by a particularly leggy dog, but we haven't had any issues yet.
“Siyi was amazing with Rufus and kept us updated along the way! We were staying in Edinburgh as a last minute getaway and she was very accommodating! You can feel her warmth from the moment you meet her and we had no doubt we were leaving our 6 month old puppy in good hands. She even makes home made dog cookies which he loved! Thank you so much ❤️”

“Kirsty was so accommodating and looked after my dog so well, she kept me up to date and sent me lots of photos of my dog having such a lovely time, which was so reassuring.”

“Kirsty and David were great and kept me updated on what my dog was doing throughout the day. I would highly recommend them and will 100% use their services again as my dog had a lovely time at theirs! Thanks so much for looking after her so well :)”

“Hannah looked after my three-month-old Labrador, Buddy, on three separate days this week due to work commitments, and I honestly could not be happier with the care he received from Hannah and her family. Hannah sent regular photos, videos, and updates throughout the day, which clearly showed the genuine care and attention Buddy was being given. He was happy, settled, and clearly loved while in Hannah’s home, which gave me complete peace of mind. Buddy was treated just as well as her own dog. I would highly recommend Hannah and will definitely be booking again whenever daycare is required.”
