About: I've helped walk dogs since I was able to walk a dog on my own. I have owned two reactive dogs and helped care for a puppy for a family friend. I currently own a reactive rottweiler cross collie. I currently don't work so I have plenty of time on my hands to go on walks with some furry friends. happy to look after some more furry friends. I have a 8 ft fence around my back garden. I know great quiet walks to keep away from any kind of stressful situation for your pets. I can adjust to any needs your pet requires

About: Until recently I have been blessed with a multitude of pets-dogs, cats, horses, chickens and even some sheep! I have experience with puppies and with more senior pets. I just love a pet cuddle! I am now retired so I have plenty of time to look after your pets needs. I love walking and miss my faithful Labradors company. My house is semi-rural and has a safe and secure fenced garden with lots of good walking nearby. Your pet would be loved as if one of my own.

“I left my border collie Chaplin, who suffers from separation anxiety, with Becky all day, and it was just great! The two connected really well, and even Becky's adorable bunny had fun with Chaplin. She kept me posted with photos and even a video, and Chaplin came back in a great mood, exhausted of chasing his tennis ball in the park. Definitely an overall great experience! About: I grew up with dogs in and around my home, we’ve had different breeds of dogs in the family home since I was younger which I helped take care of and loved taking out walking. I enjoy meeting my friends and going walks with my dog and their dogs also. I have a dog of my own at home. Im currently not working so im available at any day or time. I have a garden which can be used for dogs to access for going to the toilet during breaks between walks, and in the morning and at night. Can also let dogs out in the garden to relax if it’s a nice day, if they want to.

About: I have been around dogs, both girls and boys, my entire life and have cared for my own dogs for many years, including Border Collies and Labradors. Most recently I shared my life with a Labrador and that experience gave me a deep understanding of the daily care, exercise, structure and companionship that dogs truly need to feel secure and happy. Through owning highenergy working breeds, I am very comfortable with large dogs, strong pullers and dogs who require consistent handling and clear boundaries. I approach all dogs with calm confidence, patience and kindness, which most dogs respond to very positively. I am used to structured walks, reinforcing training, and managing dogs in all environments such as countryside paths, farm areas, towns and cities. Safety is always my top priority, alongside making sure the dog feels relaxed and understood. I am also comfortable following detailed care instructions, including feeding routines, medication administration and any special requirements. Clear communication with owners is extremely important to me, and I am happy to provide regular updates and photos for reassurance while you are away. Dogs are not just animals to me - they are individuals with their own personalities and needs and I care for them with the same attentiveness, warmth & respect that I would give my own ❤️ I work as a music producer and DJ, so my schedule can vary between working from home and travelling for events. Weekdays are generally my most available, although I do have availability on some weekends - particularly in the lead up to summer. Please feel free to enquire and I will respond as quickly as possible to confirm availability! I live in a calm, clean and comfortable flat that provides a relaxed, safe space for dogs to settle. Although I live in a flat, I am just a short walk from a very large park, green space and lakes allowing for plenty of exercise and fresh air each day. I live alone and only board dogs from one household at a time, so overnight stays are a genuinely private, one to one experience with no unfamiliar animals present. I may walk compatible dogs together during the day, but boarding is always exclusive. Each overnight stay includes two walks, one in the evening and one the following morning, tailored to your dog’s usual routine. I have a naturally calm, unhurried manner and many dogs, particularly those who are sensitive, settle quickly in my care. I aim to create a peaceful, reassuring environment where your dog can feel comfortable and secure rather than overwhelmed 💞 I follow your dog’s normal routines, boundaries and preferences as closely as possible, and I am attentive to both safety and comfort at all times. My home is tidy and welcoming rather than formal, and I want dogs to feel at ease while you are away.

About: I have around 3 years of experience caring for dogs and I truly love spending time with them. I currently work as a bank worker in a dog day care setting, where I help with collection and drop‑off around Edinburgh and support daily exploratory walks. This has given me experience managing different dogs, understanding behaviour and ensuring their safety in group environments. I also regularly walk dogs for neighbours and family in Peebles. I do this mainly because I enjoy it and love being outdoors with dogs. At home, I have 5 children who also love animals, so dogs are always treated as part of the family. I currently work part‑time from home, which gives me good flexibility to care for dogs during the week. I am available for walks, home visits and daycare, and I can also offer boarding. My daily routine already includes time outdoors, so I enjoy taking dogs on regular walks, whether this is a calm one-hour walk or a longer exploratory walk depending on the dog’s needs. I am happy to adapt my schedule to suit each dog, especially if they require specific routines for feeding, rest or exercise. I normally keep owners informed by sending regular updates and photos of our daily activities, so they can see how their dog is doing and feel reassured. I provide a safe environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. I usually care for one or two dogs at a time so I can give them my full attention and make sure they feel comfortable. In my home, dogs have access to indoor & outdoor spaces to rest and relax, as well as regular time for walks and enrichment. I always prioritise safety, using leads, harnesses or controlled environments where appropriate, and adapting activities to each dog’s age, health and personality.

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, and my love for dogs started when I was just six years old, begging my parents for my first pup. Every dog I’ve shared my life with has been a rescue, and each one has taught me something special. I live with my partner, and together we’ve cared for many wonderful dogs. Our beloved staffie cross, Roxanne (or “Ladyship” as we called her), joined us in 2017 from the Edinburgh Cats & Dogs Home. She was dog-reactive, so we worked closely with a trainer for four years to support her needs. Thanks to that experience, I’m confident in handling reactive dogs and happy to provide safe, understanding care for them. After Roxanne passed in 2024, we fostered Rex, a sensitive six-year-old staffie–lurcher cross with a high prey drive. Sadly, after seven months with us, Rex passed away suddenly in July 2025 due to an undiagnosed heart tumour. Though heartbreaking, the time we shared with him reminded us how deeply we value the companionship of dogs. Right now, we’re not ready to adopt again, but we truly miss the company of dogs. Dog sitting will allow us to give our time, love, and care to dogs who need it while giving owners peace of mind. We also regularly look after family and friends’ dogs, including Benji (a lively Jack Russell cross), Chico (a Romanian rescue), and Maisie & Mimi. Whether your dog is full of energy, a bit anxious, or simply loves cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while they’re with me. I work from home most of the time and have the flexibility to manage my own schedule, which means your dog will never be left for long periods. This allows me to give them plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day while still keeping up with my work. We believe every dog deserves to be treated like family. When your pup stays with me, they’ll receive the same love, patience, and respect that you give them at home. Our late Roxy was known as the “Ladyship of the house,” and we’ll make sure your dog feels just as cherished, safe, and cared for during their time with us.

About: Ive had 2 dogs for the last 17yrs . Of which we had 2 litters from . I adored the whole journey from puppy to seniors all come with different challenges and demands but Sooo rewarding to have relationships and experiences together. Since my 2 dogs have passed find myself caring for friends and family's pets .. so it seems the natural order to board for those who dont have that facility. I love having the company of dogs in my home. Gets me out exploring our beautiful walks . I am at home most days although I have an art workshop close by so can often be found there. In which case the dogs come with me and have space to raom there securely too. So I am around for enjoying each other's company and there for treats cuddles and toilet breaks . I live in a home with both front and back garden both fully enclosed . Although I do like to make use of our many gorgeous walks locally so aren't stuck in one place all day. I can offer a crate for your dog to sleep in if required although happily have them loose if they prefer.
