“We would give Ginevra and her partner 10 stars if we could!! Bella had such a brilliant time with them. They are so experienced and knowledgeable, and really went above and beyond to make both Bella and us feel comfortable. The girls are super friendly, and kept us updated regularly throughout Bella’s stay with some of the most adorable photos that we now have of her! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Bella, and also for all the amazing tips and advice too!”

“Alfie always gets excited now to go to Laura and David’s and they have become a staple part of my working week. They always enjoy having him and send regular updates and always seems to enjoy himself too. 😊”

“The best in the business, James is so friendly and welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the minute i met him. Vinnie always comes home absolutely shattered and happy! Couldn’t recommend more!🧡”

“We've had our dogs stay with Marco and Nicola twice now and they have had the best time. They get all the attention they could want and a comfy couch to snooze on. Walks, lunch, everything covered. There is a tall fence around their garden so no concerns about having them roam. Not to mention that Marco and Nicola are just lovely lovely people and big animal enthusiasts. Thank you! Definitely recommend them for your doggy care needs and will be bringing my boys back again soon :)”

“Charles spent the whole day with Naomi and her adorable furry family yesterday. Her calm nature put me at ease as soon as we arrived in the morning, I knew straight away Charles would be in great hands. You can tell she is a dog person and really knows their needs. I highly recommend Naomi’s services. 😊”

About: Previous cat owner, adhoc care of friends dogs . Became proud owner of Findlay as a puppy, enjoyed many happy years long walks, swimming , lunching out with other doggie friends. Sadly l lost him this year as a result of longterm nuerological problems. So gained months nursing him whilst he was housebound. As a dog owner I have vast knowledge of local walks equally happy to go for wee danders or chill in my garden with less able dogs. Fully retired with no other pet care responsibilies, very flexible and looking forward to welcoming your dog. My dog was my daily life routine so free to support others . Secure back garden with grass and shady borders for hot days. Can take dog in my car for further afield walks if appropriate. Your dog will have full freedom of my house and garden.
“I feel very happy leaving Hamish with Ruth. He loves staying with her and she sends updates so you know everything is ok. One happy tired dog at the end of the day. Thank you.”

“He couldn’t be better, he looked after my girls so well they didn’t want to come back to me 😁. He made sure they were safe, had plenty of exercise and fed them too. I recommend him 💯 shame he’s not moving down south 🥹. Bella, Luna and Maria”

“Katie was great with Hamish and he really settled in so quickly and was well loved and looked after. She sent me some lovely pics during the day and he looked content and happy which put my mind at ease. I’ll definitely be booking with Katie again and would highly recommend. :)”

About: I’m a huge animal lover with previous experience dog walking and pet sitting professionally. I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats as well as voluntary animal care experience with both Guide Dogs and the RSPCA. Working with the RSPCA I cared for animals with a variety of behavioural issues. I have also cared for my own dogs, cats and Guinea pigs throughout my life. I currently have 1 small dog who gets on well with other dogs. Any dogs in my care for the day would need to get on with her, happy to meet up beforehand to check this. When dog walking, I can walk dogs together or separately depending on your preference. I can provide drop in care and feeding for any pets as well as dog walking and daycare. Please get in touch with a request and I'll let you know if I can help 😊 I have good availability for pet care and walking over Summer 2025. Please get in touch and I’ll let you know if I can help! I live in a rural area with lots of quiet spots for walks. I have one small dog who any dogs in my care would need to get on with. I do live in a small flat with steps up to it. The garden is not fully secure.
About: Hi, I’m Gavin. I’m a caring and responsible pet sitter based in Bonnyrigg. I work part-time from home, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve. I live in a detached house with my own secure, fenced garden – perfect for playtime and safe outdoor breaks. I share my home with my friendly 2-year-old German Shepherd, who loves company and enjoys making new dog friends. My love for animals started early – as a teenager, I raised two cats and cared for them throughout their lives. That experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand different pet personalities. Now, I’m confident caring for both dogs and cats, from playful pups and kittens to seniors who need gentler care. I’ll treat them like family. I work part-time from home, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve. About: I've been looking after pets since I was a kid. We always had dogs when I was growing up. As an adult I re-homed a Romanian street dog who had very challenging behavior, so I am also well versed in looking after reactive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. I'm currently working part time and I work from home with flexible working patterns. I can be flexible for pet sitting or boarding any time, around my working hours. I have a large, secure garden and currently there are no other pets in my home. I have a medium sized dog crate that I can use if your dog is comfortable being crated.
About: We’ve always had family pets since I was born, from horses to cats, dogs and fish. Sadly I’m not in a suitable position to care for any of my own animals at the moment. Therefore, I want to put my free time to good use and care for dogs and cats in need while enjoying the company of some furry friends! I’m currently working flexible hours during the week in Durham, I drive and have lots of free time, I’m single with no children or any big commitments, so I have plenty of freedom to go on dog walks and pet sit in the North East! I’m aware that when I visit a new pet sit, the animals will not be familiar with me, therefore I will approach calmly and softly with a gentle energy so that both the owner and animal feel safe and comfortable in my presence.
About: I grew up with dogs in and around my home, we’ve had different breeds of dogs in the family home since I was younger which I helped take care of and loved taking out walking. I enjoy meeting my friends and going walks with my dog and their dogs also. I have a dog of my own at home. Im currently not working so im available at any day or time. Just contact me to arrange a suitable date/time that will work best for you. I have a grassy patch out the back of my house which I take my dog to do the toilet, it’s pretty secluded but there can be regular traffic as it’s a parking area. My cat doesn’t get out. I have a crate which can be used if need be.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, and my love for dogs started when I was just six years old, begging my parents for my first pup. Every dog I’ve shared my life with has been a rescue, and each one has taught me something special. I live with my partner, and together we’ve cared for many wonderful dogs. Our beloved staffie cross, Roxanne (or “Ladyship” as we called her), joined us in 2017 from the Edinburgh Cats & Dogs Home. She was dog-reactive, so we worked closely with a trainer for four years to support her needs. Thanks to that experience, I’m confident in handling reactive dogs and happy to provide safe, understanding care for them. After Roxanne passed in 2024, we fostered Rex, a sensitive six-year-old staffie–lurcher cross with a high prey drive. Sadly, after seven months with us, Rex passed away suddenly in July 2025 due to an undiagnosed heart tumour. Though heartbreaking, the time we shared with him reminded us how deeply we value the companionship of dogs. Right now, we’re not ready to adopt again, but we truly miss the company of dogs. Dog sitting will allow us to give our time, love, and care to dogs who need it while giving owners peace of mind. We also regularly look after family and friends’ dogs, including Benji (a lively Jack Russell cross), Chico (a Romanian rescue), and Maisie & Mimi. Whether your dog is full of energy, a bit anxious, or simply loves cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while they’re with me. I work from home most of the time and have the flexibility to manage my own schedule, which means your dog will never be left for long periods. This allows me to give them plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day while still keeping up with my work. We believe every dog deserves to be treated like family. When your pup stays with me, they’ll receive the same love, patience, and respect that you give them at home. Our late Roxy was known as the “Ladyship of the house,” and we’ll make sure your dog feels just as cherished, safe, and cared for during their time with us.

“Our dog spent a day with Becky and JoJo and came home happy and shattered. We got lots of updates throughout the day including a few photos. We would be very happy to use again in future. Thanks Becky!”
