Milo was very well taken care of today. It’s the first time we have left our 5 month old puppy with anyone but Andreea was very reassuring and gave me regular updates. He was very well cared for and was encouraged to make himself at home, which was lovely. Thanks Andreea

Debbie and her boy came to meet me, she was very nice and I knew Topsy would be in safe hands for the day. Very professional and very easy to deal with. She also sent pictures in the day to reassure us that Topsy was okay. I would have no problem using her again and I would recommend others that Debbie is a safe choice to look after your dog.

Natalie has been brilliant taking care of Hank (our 10 month old Vizsla puppy) on two occasions now :) She always keeps me updated with how he is getting on and is great at keeping Hank busy, as he is a very active pup and is tired on the way home! Thank you Natalie :)

About: I was raised in a house full of different animals and for the last 20 years I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, gecko & horse. I have experience in looking after small to extra large dogs. I was a fosterer with Thistle Boxer Rescue for 3 years and became a trustee (lead rehomer) matching rescues with their forever family. This was the most rewarding experience ever! I have experience in challenging behaviours and believe in reward based training. My only ask is that any behavioural issues are disclosed before pick up/drop off such as wanting to eat my cat (1 eyed feline who thinks she runs the house) this decreases any risks and helps me to understand the dog better and provide better care. I also like to borrow my friends and family’s dogs just because I like the furry hugs. I like to make sure that all dogs feel loved. I have a variety of walking areas local to me and will work around the needs of the dogs. I am currently not working so will be able to fully focus on any dog that is in my care. Going for walks, playing with toys and snuggling on the couch if that’s what they want. I look after all animals in my care as my own, with love and with lots of fun. I treat others home and property with care and respect.

Rachel has been nothing but absolutely fantastic with our girl Prim. Quick responses, frequent updates, accommodating specific needs like blocking of the stairs … Prim has been so happy (and full of home-made treats) at the end of the each day sit. While it is scary to leave your young puppy with someone else, Rachel has made this step more manageable. We definitely recommend her as a dog sitter!

Took noodle to meet Lynh and noodle immediately took to her and was comfortable straight away (noodle is normally anxious around new people) noodle looked like she was having an amazing time and was well and truly tired out from all the fun by the time she got back,

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, mainly boxer dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. I previously worked full-time as a dog walker and pet sitter in Sussex, looking after everything from energetic pups to older, slower dogs who need a gentler pace. I now have my own boxer and cat, so I’m used to big personalities, strong breeds, and multi-pet households. I’m calm, outdoorsy and confident with all temperaments, whether it’s a bouncy youngster, a nervous rescue, or a dog who just needs steady, reassuring company. Your pet will get plenty of attention, long walks suited to their needs, and a relaxed, dependable person they can settle with. I work flexibly, which means I can plan my day around walks and drop-ins when needed. I’m used to structuring my day around dog care already, so fitting in extra visits is really straightforward for me. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m attentive, calm, and follow your instructions carefully, from feeding and medication to secure lock-up and safety checks before I leave.

About: I live in a lovely seaside town with my 9 year old son. I have experience of larger breed dogs having previously owned 2 American Akitas. I also help look after a lovely golden retriever boy. Both my dogs were dog reactive so I have experience of how to deal with that too. After I lost my beautiful girl Star in 2022, I haven’t been able to get another dog but I really do miss the company & the therapy pets provide :-) I work from home most days & have a fenced garden. Plus we live 5 minutes from the golf course & beach so lots of nice walks! We are quite active & my son has football training/matches so we would need dogs to be able to be left alone for a few hours while we are out ☺️ I work at home every day apart from a Tuesday so happy to have company during the week or at the weekend if we don’t have plans. I’m very active & always out getting my steps in on my lunch break. I live with my 9 year old son. We are in a maisonette so there are stairs within the property then it’s all on one level. I have a fenced garden.

Velveth was great with Kobe 😊 especially since he can be a little excitable being so young and he requires a little extra patience , but nothing was too much trouble for Velveth, she took the time to do a meet and greet prior to caring for Kobe! Very friendly and polite so I knew Kobe was in good hands while I went to work, would definitely recommend,

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Fife on Rover is £25.3 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 915 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Fife. About 86% of Fife sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Fife commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
