Debbie and her boy came to meet me, she was very nice and I knew Topsy would be in safe hands for the day. Very professional and very easy to deal with. She also sent pictures in the day to reassure us that Topsy was okay. I would have no problem using her again and I would recommend others that Debbie is a safe choice to look after your dog.

Tricia was great with Gelert! She looked after him for me for the day after he had an operation. She sent regular updates throughout the day which was reassuring. Her wee dog Bonnie was very tolerant of the cone! Thanks Tricia, we’ll definitely rebook 😄

About: Hi! I’m Anastasiia, and animals have always been a very special part of my life. I grew up with my beloved dog, Timmy, who was part of our family for 14 wonderful years. Caring for him taught me patience, responsibility and how important it is for every pet to feel safe, loved and understood. I truly love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Since losing Timmy two years ago, I’ve really missed having a furry companion around, which inspired me to join Rover and care for other people’s wonderful pets. I’m currently completing my MSc dissertation, so I spend most of my time at home. This means your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, regular walks and lots of care throughout the day. I only host one family’s pet at a time to provide a calm, safe and loving environment. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I’m currently completing my MSc dissertation, which means I spend most of my time at home and have a flexible schedule. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one family’s pet at a time to provide a calm and stress-free environment. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks and any special instructions. I’ll also send regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Harvey, my German Shorthaired Pointer, loved his time with Jasmine and I was sent photos of what he got up to during his stay! ?? Jasmine listened to everything I had to say about Harvey's likes and dislikes and I'd recommend her to other dog owners. ?

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10. Friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to walk, feed, and bathe their dogs. Now, as a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, and pets with special needs, and I treat every dog like part of the family. I work full-time from Monday to Thursday, so I’m currently available for dog care from Friday to Sunday. I’m happy to offer boarding, walks, or drop-in visits over the weekend. I’m also available during my holidays and will update my availability ahead of time. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekend routine—I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and love giving them attention and care. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly, spayed Golden Retriever who loves the company of other dogs. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and I always make sure each dog feels safe and comfortable. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and can crate them if needed. Your pup will be treated like family in my care.

About: I have a passion for dogs, I always have, I tend not to leave home without them as I wouldn't like left behind either! I love exploring with them and discovering new places. We go cycling too when we need to blow off the cobwebs. Bella, her daughter Tyne and siouxsie are all black labs, Playful, cheeky and lots of fun , loves the water, the beach and best of all a football! she is very friendly and misses my old border terrier gino being around. The mention of the word park sends her into a frenzy! I tend to take my dogs away in the car for walks as I'm sure they get bored with the same smells. My kids are allegedly grown up now and living elsewhere so the house is quiet and needs little pads to fill it up.. I'm not working ATM so free most of the time, so just ask if I can fit you in and we will take it from there. I have a fully enclosed back garden with a high wall, I have a dog flap so they can come and go. They're allowed anywhere in the house.

About: I have had pets all my life, including two dogs. I currently have Forest a 4 year old Norwegian elkhound who loves other doggies, people and food! I have experience as a dog walker full time during my studies where I walked up to 6 dogs at a time! Friends and colleagues have relied on me to look after their beloved pets for long periods of time. I currently have a slow paced work from home job where i have a lot of time to look after your beloved pets. I typically do not leave the house unless its for essential food shops or dog walks during the working day! At the weekend i like to explore and take Forest for walks in new places, this is my favourite hobby. I have a secure large fenced garden which has plenty of grass, paving and room to run around! Forest has a great time exploring the garden, sniffing the grass and rolling around on the stones. We have lots of toys and enrichment for him also.

About: I’ve always had a passion for animals and have experience caring for both family pets and dogs belonging to other families. I am currently studying Animal Care, which is helping me develop my knowledge of animal welfare, behaviour, and care. I am confident working with a variety of animals, from small pets such as hamsters and rabbits to larger animals such as dogs. I love spending time outdoors and can tailor walks to suit your dog’s needs, whether that’s a short stroll, an energetic adventure, or a long countryside walk.🌷🐕🌳 I understand that every pet is different and I will always provide patient, reliable, and loving care, treating your pets as if they were my own.🫶🏼 Currently dog walking/pet sitting is my job whilst I work towards my animal care certificates. I tend to care for a family members dog throughout the week- which includes long walks, feeding times and cuddles. My back garden is fenced and double gated, my front garden is also fenced and has a gate. Everything is extremely secure and safe for your animal.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, cared for hamsters, and even now I share my home with two amazing rescue dogs, a pampered rescue cat, a turtle, and some fish I adore! My oldest dog, Annie, came to me at 5 years old after a tough start in life. She was timid and shut down, but with love and patience, she blossomed into a confident, happy girl. My other dog, Chip, was rescued as a puppy when no one wanted him—something I’ll never understand. He’s been my shadow ever since. I even rescued a cat from Dubai who was about to be abandoned during severe floods. She now lives a life full of love, comfort, and cuddles. Caring for animals is a passion for me. I truly melt with any animal I meet, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I only wish I’d pursued this path sooner, but now I’m making that dream a reality. What sets me apart is my genuine love , patience and care I offer to every animal, especially those who need a little extra time and understanding. All prices can be negotiated don’t hesitate to message me:) I work a 24-hour on, 48-hour off shift pattern—which means I’ve got loads of free time to spend with your furry (or scaly!) friends. On my days off, I’m home and fully available for walks, cuddles, and playtime. I live with my partner who’s just as animal-obsessed as I am, so there’s always someone around to give our own little zoo plenty of love! When I’m working, our dogs love going for a little holiday at gran and grandad’s, and sometimes they even tag along to work with me (they’re practically on payroll at this point earning pawnies!) I’ll always check in with you before making any plans, and if anything comes up last minute and I can help—you can count on me. Flexibility, fun, and furry cuddles are what I’m all about! I also would have my doggos stay at their grandparents for the duration of your dogs stay! Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m popping over to care for them in your home, their safety and happiness are always my top priority. I treat every animal like they’re part of my own little crew—and that means lots of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and secure, with plenty of space for relaxing, playing, and cuddling up. I have two friendly dogs who are great with other animals, plus a cat who does her own thing and a turtle who’s surprisingly social! If your pet prefers their own space or needs a quieter setup, I can absolutely accommodate that too! In your home, I make sure to stick to your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, keeping everything familiar and stress-free. I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and safe, and I always make sure your home is respected and left just as I found it.

About: Since childhood, I’ve been surrounded by dogs, cats, and even horses that quickly became my extended family. My love of animals has led me to helping out my boyfriend at his family-owned pet shop based in Tranent, where I have expanded my knowledge of pet care and had the joy of building relationships with furry companions of all shapes and sizes. Working from the comfort of my home full-time means that your cherished pet will receive my undivided attention. With ample time to spare, I’m dedicated to providing top-notch care, including leisurely lunchtime walks (of course, more if staying overnight) and regular garden outings. My hope is that my cosy flat becomes their home away from home, where cuddles, playtime, and attention are all guaranteed. Your beloved cat or dog will be the sole furry resident in my home. Receiving my complete care and attention. From regular walks and toilet breaks to attention and love, their well-being is my priority. A cosy bed, blanket and toys await (unless you prefer to bring their own favourites!). If there are any unique requests to ensure their comfort, just ask! I’m here to make their stay as enjoyable as possible.

This is the first time we have asked Rachel to look after our dog and to say I was apprehensive is an understatement. There was no need though. At Rachel's request, we met up with her dog for a "get to know" walk, so when it came for Bonnie to stay she was happy and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Rachel if you want somewhere safe and loving for your pooch.

About: I live in a lovely seaside town with my 9 year old son. I have experience of larger breed dogs having previously owned 2 American Akitas. I also help look after a lovely golden retriever boy. Both my dogs were dog reactive so I have experience of how to deal with that too. After I lost my beautiful girl Star in 2022, I haven’t been able to get another dog but I really do miss the company & the therapy pets provide :-) I work from home most days & have a fenced garden. Plus we live 5 minutes from the golf course & beach so lots of nice walks! We are quite active & my son has football training/matches so we would need dogs to be able to be left alone for a few hours while we are out ☺️ I work at home every day apart from a Tuesday so happy to have company during the week or at the weekend if we don’t have plans. I’m very active & always out getting my steps in on my lunch break. I live with my 9 year old son. We are in a maisonette so there are stairs within the property then it’s all on one level. I have a fenced garden.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Fife on Rover is £26.45 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 912 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Fife. About 87% of Fife sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Fife commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
