“We were a bit apprehensive about leaving our rescue staffy for the first time. Rhiannon was really great from the offset. She is quick at responding to communications, and followed Blue’s routine well. She sent some photos during his stay and he looked very settled and happy. He is reactive to other dogs, and can be very excitable so we were a bit worried how he would get on. He was absolutely fine, and we will definitely be asking Rhiannon to look after him again soon.”

“Amazing communication from Flynn, they came over to meet Lupin before hand and really took the time for him to come over and say hello. On the times we were away Flynn kept us updated, gave detailed report cards and lots of photos of Lupin which made us feel very at ease. We came home to everything tidied away and even went the extra mile to clean Lupins litter tray for us. About: I have had pets all my life, including two dogs. I currently have Forest a 4 year old Norwegian elkhound who loves other doggies, people and food! I have experience as a dog walker full time during my studies where I walked up to 6 dogs at a time! Friends and colleagues have relied on me to look after their beloved pets for long periods of time. I currently have a slow paced work from home job where i have a lot of time to look after your beloved pets. I typically do not leave the house unless its for essential food shops or dog walks during the working day! At the weekend i like to explore and take Forest for walks in new places, this is my favourite hobby. I have a secure large fenced garden which has plenty of grass, paving and room to run around! Forest has a great time exploring the garden, sniffing the grass and rolling around on the stones. We have lots of toys and enrichment for him also.

About: I grew up with two family dogs and four cats. I began dog walking and pet sitting as a student, gaining experience through "BorrowMyDoggy" by providing regular walks and day-care for several repeat clients, often for longer periods when they were on holiday. I have been using Rover since 2018, and established regular clients when based in Glasgow, Kinross and now Coaltown. I also regularly dog sit for family and friends. I have boarded several dogs for their first stays away from home, including a few "lockdown" pups. My time caring for such a variety of breeds, many of which were rescues with specific needs, has provided me with the experience necessary to provide your dogs with the high quality care they require. I have limited experience with professional cat sitting, but grew up with family cats and have previously cat-sat for friends and a client. I work full time, predominantly from home but with some expectation of site visits and occasional overnight stays. It is therefore important to check availability with me directly. Pets that stay with me on weekdays will get a 30-45 min walk before and after work, as well as a play in the garden at lunchtime. At the weekend we can go for longer (1hr+) walks together, including to the beach! Your pet will rarely be left alone, and then only for short periods (such as a quick trip to the supermarket). If there were to be any changes to this, I would discuss with you, the owner, first. Pets that stay with me will get the run of the house, a lovely comfy sofa to sleep on, and a large garden to play in. Pets are welcome in the bed for cuddles but cannot stay there overnight. I will always ask owners for a list of care instructions to get the best possible understanding of their current routine, to make their stay as stress-free and comfortable as possible!
About: I have a passion for dogs, I always have, I tend not to leave home without them as I wouldn't like left behind either! I love exploring with them and discovering new places. We go cycling too when we need to blow off the cobwebs. About: I live in a lovely seaside town with my 9 year old son. I have experience of larger breed dogs having previously owned 2 American Akitas. I also help look after a lovely golden retriever boy. Both my dogs were dog reactive so I have experience of how to deal with that too. After I lost my beautiful girl Star in 2022, I haven’t been able to get another dog but I really do miss the company & the therapy pets provide :-) I work from home most days & have a fenced garden. Plus we live 5 minutes from the golf course & beach so lots of nice walks! We are quite active & my son has football training/matches so we would need dogs to be able to be left alone for a few hours while we are out ☺️ I work at home every day apart from a Tuesday so happy to have company during the week or at the weekend if we don’t have plans. I’m very active & always out getting my steps in on my lunch break. I live with my 9 year old son. We are in a maisonette so there are stairs within the property then it’s all on one level. We really weren't sure how Wilson would be as he has only been left with family before but we need not have worried, Grant took Wilson on a walk as soon as we dropped him off and by the time they got home they were great friends - im not sure Wilson even missed us.
