About: I was raised in a house full of different animals and for the last 20 years I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, gecko & horse. I have experience in looking after small to extra large dogs. I was a fosterer with Thistle Boxer Rescue for 3 years and became a trustee (lead rehomer) matching rescues with their forever family. This was the most rewarding experience ever! I have experience in challenging behaviours and believe in reward based training. My only ask is that any behavioural issues are disclosed before pick up/drop off such as wanting to eat my cat (1 eyed feline who thinks she runs the house) this decreases any risks and helps me to understand the dog better and provide better care. About: I live in a lovely seaside town with my 9 year old son. I have experience of larger breed dogs having previously owned 2 American Akitas. I also help look after a lovely golden retriever boy. Both my dogs were dog reactive so I have experience of how to deal with that too. After I lost my beautiful girl Star in 2022, I haven’t been able to get another dog but I really do miss the company & the therapy pets provide :-) I work from home most days & have a fenced garden. Plus we live 5 minutes from the golf course & beach so lots of nice walks! We are quite active & my son has football training/matches so we would need dogs to be able to be left alone for a few hours while we are out ☺️ I work at home every day apart from a Tuesday so happy to have company during the week or at the weekend if we don’t have plans. About: If a friend brings me to a house with a dog and I go missing, I'm probably sitting somewhere petting their dog. I've been around dogs my entire life, and I always will be, having dogs in my life makes it whole. Apart from occasional freelance work, I have a lot of available time to spend with your doggos :) I am available for dog walking most of the time, however due to being a parent, house sitting may be less often, however still sometimes available. Care will always be completely tailored to individual dogs and owners as the owners will know best how to care for their dogs and routine has the best stability :)

I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child, my most recent dog sitting was for 6 months while the lady worked so I had him all day during the week. I am currently working part time so I will have loads of time to spend with your pups and take for fun long walkies . About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. About: I look after friends and family’s pets whenever necessary, and have been a part of Rover for a wee while now. I have experience with different breeds/sizes and love time spent with animals! I’m currently working part time and my hours are very flexible week by week! I live right next to the pentlands so plenty walks and outdoor time. I have a fenced garden at the back, with decking, and a front garden space. I have one young female spaniel called Rosie who is friendly (although likes to make a fair noise when first meeting new friends).

Despite my family moving around a lot - we eventually had the chance to fall in love with a lovely orange tabby named Plato. Spending years of my childhood alongside him - I've developed an understanding of an animal's needs and a genuine love of their companionship. As an adult I've taken every opportunity to care for creatures big and small. This includes cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and even sheep! I've volunteered at farms and I regularly take care of my friend's pets when they're out of town. In addition, I have some experience assisting special needs pets and helping them take medicine. I'm always prepared in case of an emergency, ensuring that I understand any health issues and the warning signs to look out for.
About: As a freelance artist my time is entirely my own and that flexibility means I can give your pets all the attention they need. I love long walks in nature and have experience with many breeds and temperaments in many different areas, from mountain walking/running with dogs to a gentle stroll round the block. Very flexible and freelance artist, so can easily make my own schedule. I drive and am very happy to travel. Typically I prefer morning/midday walks to kick start the day! This entirely depends upon the history of each pet. I respect the pet’s owners choices and treat every pet with as much care and attention that I can.

“Caity looked after our Cavapoochon Bailey for a week and he had the best time! Lovely walks on the beach and snuggles on the couch - his favourite things to do 😊 Bailey can be a bit anxious and isn't great with other dogs, so having the beach on the doorstep was great for him as he was able to have lovely quiet walks there. Caity was very communicative throughout the week and sent lots of photos of Bailey enjoying himself. Would definitely recommend Caity and hope Bailey will be able to stay with her again”

About: Having just lost my best friend, Nacho, after 14.5 years together, I’m here to pour my love into other dogs and give them the best stay possible filled with attention and affection. Making my own pup proud that I’m helping other dogs feel loved in his home even though he’s not here 🐾🤍 I work part time on a flexible schedule so I can try my best to look after your pup when I can and offer the best care. I can offer over night stays as well as through the day when I’m not working. I have a fenced garden/patio and access to a very big park and riverside walkway. Your dog will have full access to my house so they feel as at home as possible.
