“Debbie and her family are really lovely and took great care of Mungo. They were very accommodating to changes in timings. He was a very happy boy when I picked him up and had lots of fun playing with their dog Mabel.”

“This was Mila’s 2nd stay with Julie & Steve. She was well taken care of, lovely walks and lots of cuddles and fuss to help her feel settled. Mila will be staying again in August ❤️❤️❤️”

“Grant and Angela were amazing. It started with a very professional meet and greet introducing us to their home and allowing them to meet our Labradoodle Bentley. Grant has a Health and Safety background and was very thorough/comprehensive in his introduction. They also introduced him to Otis who would be overlapping his stay with Bentley by half a day. A few days later we left Bentley in their care for two nights. Bentley has separation anxiety however settled in really well. Grant gave us regular updates including Video which really put us at easy seeing Bentley's tail wagging away. We have tried kennels before in which Bentley lost his voice and nose was raw from pushing against the kennel door. Such a relief to have found Grant and Angela. When we picked Bentley up it was very clear he had already formed a bond with Grant and Angela. Emotions dont lie - was great to see. Really was a home from home.”

“I can not recommend Abbigael enough. She was the perfect host for us, she was attentive, welcoming and understanding of our dogs needs. The level of communication was fantastic it really helped put the mind at ease while we were away. If we need a boarding host again we'll definitely be contacting Abbigael.”

“Tucker loved his holiday with Melia. We had daily photos, videos and updates. Really great communication throughout the booking process and after. Would definitely recommend and will be using her again.”

“We had a great experience with our Rhiannon and her family! They were absolutely lovely and made Aspen feel right at home. It was clear from the updates and photos that she was relaxed, happy, and enjoying herself. She had plenty of lovely walks and came back to us calm and content. We’d definitely be happy to book again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her!”

“The service Lynh and her family provide is fantastic, and it was lovely (and relieving!) to know our pet was in good hands and having his own holiday adventures during his stay. I can’t recommend highly enough!”

“I would totally recommend Cristina. We have just came back from a 12 day holiday. Cristina updated us every day with photos and how our Lady was. This put my mind at ease as we had never left Lady outwith the family before. After our introduction meeting with Cristina and her daughter when we went back to drop Lady off she was all excited when she seen them. We will definitely leave Lady again. Thank you so much 😊”

About: Hi! I’m Anastasiia, and animals have always been a very special part of my life. I grew up with my beloved dog, Timmy, who was part of our family for 14 wonderful years. Caring for him taught me patience, responsibility and how important it is for every pet to feel safe, loved and understood. I truly love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Since losing Timmy two years ago, I’ve really missed having a furry companion around, which inspired me to join Rover and care for other people’s wonderful pets. I’m currently completing my MSc dissertation, so I spend most of my time at home. This means your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, regular walks and lots of care throughout the day. I only host one family’s pet at a time to provide a calm, safe and loving environment. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one family’s pet at a time to provide a calm and stress-free environment. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks and any special instructions. I’ll also send regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Really excellent - Jura had such a good time with Danielle and Ian! He got lots of good walks, and Danielle kept me updated with pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!”

“First time I have left Basil with anyone for overnight stays, oh my gosh! Rachel came and met Basil prior to the home stay, she’s most definitely a doggies best friend! Basil took to her straight off, and she immediately put me at ease! Basil had the best time with her, he’s a big dog and she very kindly gave him big walks and much loving! She sent us a wonderful stream of fun photos, which allowed us to relax into our wknd away! A big shout out for Rachel 👏👏👏👏”

“Dudley absolutely loved staying with Mairi and her son again! He was so excited to go in and never looked back! Mairi sent us regular photos of Dudley throughout his stay. He looked so happy when he was there and very relaxed which is so reassuring. Again I would highly recommend Mairi - she is fantastic!!”

“We came across Rover and Jasmine at the last minute looking for boarding for our 9 month old cockapoo Poppy and I'm so glad we did. She was on hand to answer all questions we had before Poppy's stay and allowed us to visit before hand. During her week with Jasmine we were kept up to date with pictures and videos with Poppy looking very happy, relaxed and enjoying the attention. Thanks so much for making the first time leaving her so easy. Would def recommend and will use again. X”

“Rudi absolutely loved his stay with Kirsty and the kids who are all amazing with dogs -and in general- thanks to their excellent Mum. He was comfortable from the very first minute and was treated as part of the family. He came home happy and relaxed! Thank you so much! ☺️”

“Having never used Rover before, we were a bit cautious. Kelly was happy to come meet us prior to Al staying which put our minds at rest. Safe to say, Kelly has become his new best friend, cannot recommend her enough, we were away for a weeks holiday and he has come back from his doggy holiday as happy as can be. Will definitely be booking with Kelly again. Would give 10 stars if possible, thank you Kelly for looking after our boy for us. Ps, we think he is missing you.”

About: I was raised in a house full of different animals and for the last 20 years I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, gecko & horse. I have experience in looking after small to extra large dogs. I was a fosterer with Thistle Boxer Rescue for 3 years and became a trustee (lead rehomer) matching rescues with their forever family. This was the most rewarding experience ever! I have experience in challenging behaviours and believe in reward based training. My only ask is that any behavioural issues are disclosed before pick up/drop off such as wanting to eat my cat (1 eyed feline who thinks she runs the house) this decreases any risks and helps me to understand the dog better and provide better care. I also like to borrow my friends and family’s dogs just because I like the furry hugs. I like to make sure that all dogs feel loved. I have a variety of walking areas local to me and will work around the needs of the dogs. I am currently not working so will be able to fully focus on any dog that is in my care. Going for walks, playing with toys and snuggling on the couch if that’s what they want. I look after all animals in my care as my own, with love and with lots of fun. I treat others home and property with care and respect.
“Amazing! Jennifer was great at communicating from start to finish, which made everything really easy and reassuring. I felt completely comfortable leaving Beau overnight, and he was safe, well looked after and happy to gets lots of cuddles. I'd definitely book again and highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Becky is a great Dogsitter and we are planning to use her again in the future. She has a great dog friendly set up and her home and our dogs were made to feel very welcome. She was very easy to contact and was in touch each day to let us know how things were going.”

“I’m so glad I found Flynn to look after our older cat while we were on holiday. She was professional, communicative and clearly experienced and caring. Our cat needed eye drops, ear drops and another tablet daily (and can be quite grumpy) so it was great to know that she was in good hands and able to receive all her medicines while we were away.”

“Johanna visit my cat, Tux, while I was away for a few days, feeding, changing litter, having play time. Johannah clearly loves animals and is kind and conscientious. She always communicated well and sent messages and photos. I wouldn't hesitate to ask her back or to recommend her to look after your pet.”

“Abbigael was welcoming to Jacqui when we arrived and very excited to stay with her. On returning Abbigael told me all about Jacqui's visit, what they had been up to and how she had reacted. She obviously had a great time as she was very happy and quite tired out. Not an easy task for this active young pup. I am now very happy to be leaving her for a longer stay.”

“Claire was great. She sent me photos and videos of my cats. They were well cared for, fed, watered, entertained and litter tray sorted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or use her services again.”
“A big thank you to Laura for the drop in service she provided this past weekend. This was the first time using this service and couldn’t be happier with the whole process. Laura was true to her word and we got photos and an update twice daily which gave us peace of mind that all was going well. One of our cats can get a little stressed but doesn't seem to have been in Lauras care. We came home to two happy and contented cats. Also the cat area was left spotless. Will definitely use your services again. Thank you Laura”

About: My name is Yujie, and I am absolutely thrilled at being a dog walker! Ever since I was six years old, dogs have been a huge part of my life. My first puppy and I grew up side by side, and those memories still warm my heart today. I remember countless nights, too excited to sleep, just checking in on my little furry friend to make sure he was safe. Currently, I’m based in the UK where I recently completed my PhD. As I prepare for my next career step in the US, I find myself missing the joyful presence of a pet. Though my current flat restricts me from having my own dog, I always light up seeing others enjoy their time with their pets. It’s a beautiful sight that fills me with happiness! Becoming a dog walker is the perfect opportunity for me to immerse myself in what I love and to enhance my financial stability as I transition. I’m an avid fitness enthusiast—walking beaches and hiking hills daily, easily surpassing 10,000 steps. I’m energized and ready to provide lively, loving care to dogs that crave fun and adventurous walks! I’m looking forward to giving my all to ensure your beloved pet has a joyful and safe experience with every step we take together. Thank you for considering me; I am eager to bring lots of energy and care to your dog’s daily life! Currently, I work 10-20 hours a week in a role that offers me a great deal of flexibility. This arrangement allows me to devote most of my time to dog walking, ensuring I can easily accommodate various schedules and provide ample attention and care to each dog I have the pleasure of walking. With my enthusiasm for staying active and exploring the outdoors, I'm excited about the opportunity to incorporate dog walking into my daily activities, enhancing both my physical well-being and financial situation. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a pet owner's home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. In my home, I ensure that all areas accessible to pets are clean, secure, and free of any hazards. I provide plenty of fresh water and healthy treats, and I follow any specific dietary or care instructions provided by the pet owner meticulously. In a pet owner's home, I am very respectful of their space and privacy. I make sure to keep everything tidy and as I found it. I pay close attention to the pet's routine and try to adhere to it as closely as possible to maintain a sense of normalcy for the pet. I also provide regular updates and photos to the owners, so they feel reassured that their beloved companion is in good hands. Safety is my top priority, so I am attentive to the pet’s health and well-being during our time together, promptly addressing any unusual signs or behaviors by contacting the owner or a veterinarian if necessary. By showing respect, providing attentive care, and maintaining clear communication, I ensure that both the pets and their owners are happy and satisfied with my service.

“Debbie and her boy came to meet me, she was very nice and I knew Topsy would be in safe hands for the day. Very professional and very easy to deal with. “Harvey, my German Shorthaired Pointer, loved his time with Jasmine and I was sent photos of what he got up to during his stay! ?? Jasmine listened to everything I had to say about Harvey's likes and dislikes and I'd recommend her to other dog owners. ?”

About: I have a passion for dogs, I always have, I tend not to leave home without them as I wouldn't like left behind either! I love exploring with them and discovering new places. We go cycling too when we need to blow off the cobwebs. Bella, her daughter Tyne and siouxsie are all black labs, Playful, cheeky and lots of fun , loves the water, the beach and best of all a football! she is very friendly and misses my old border terrier gino being around. The mention of the word park sends her into a frenzy! I tend to take my dogs away in the car for walks as I'm sure they get bored with the same smells. My kids are allegedly grown up now and living elsewhere so the house is quiet and needs little pads to fill it up.. I'm not working ATM so free most of the time, so just ask if I can fit you in and we will take it from there. I have a fully enclosed back garden with a high wall, I have a dog flap so they can come and go. They're allowed anywhere in the house.
“Ellie was great with Pickle and he is a nervous dog, I was very impressed with how she was interacting with him. Pickle had a great time and I will definitely ask for Ellie's help again in the future.”

“This is the first time we have asked Rachel to look after our dog and to say I was apprehensive is an understatement. There was no need though. At Rachel's request, we met up with her dog for a "get to know" walk, so when it came for Bonnie to stay she was happy and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Rachel if you want somewhere safe and loving for your pooch.”

About: I live in a lovely seaside town with my 9 year old son. I have experience of larger breed dogs having previously owned 2 American Akitas. I also help look after a lovely golden retriever boy. Both my dogs were dog reactive so I have experience of how to deal with that too. After I lost my beautiful girl Star in 2022, I haven’t been able to get another dog but I really do miss the company & the therapy pets provide :-) I work from home most days & have a fenced garden. Plus we live 5 minutes from the golf course & beach so lots of nice walks! We are quite active & my son has football training/matches so we would need dogs to be able to be left alone for a few hours while we are out ☺️ I work at home every day apart from a Tuesday so happy to have company during the week or at the weekend if we don’t have plans. I’m very active & always out getting my steps in on my lunch break. I live with my 9 year old son. We are in a maisonette so there are stairs within the property then it’s all on one level. I have a fenced garden.

“Ashlin was great with our boy Milo! She was very accommodating when meeting him as he can be anxious around new people but he took her so well! Great communication and sent up plenty of updates and pictures. Would highly recommend”

“Abi and Alex did a marvellous job with our two rescue dogs when we went away for the weekend. Our dogs are not the best with strangers but both Abi and Alex managed to get them out of the front door and on a walk on separate days. They kept us updated after every walk which was reassuring and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. We felt like they were in safe, kind and patient hands and intend to use them more regularly. Great job guys. Will be in touch soon. 👍”

About: Hi! Im Trish ! Thank you for considering my services. I’m a lifelong animal lover, professional dog spoiler, and firm believer that every dog deserves to be treated like family (possibly even royalty). I have my own little sidekick, Milo, a whippet/Italian greyhound mix with long legs, lots of personality, and absolutely no understanding of personal space. Having a dog of my own means I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be leaving your pet with someone else, which is why I put huge importance on trust, communication, patience and making your pet feel genuinely loved and safe. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life and have experience looking after all sorts of dogs; tiny nervous pups, giant cuddle monsters, energetic chaos gremlins and sleepy seniors alike. Honestly, nothing is too small, too big, too fluffy or too weird for me to absolutely adore. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I genuinely love getting to know all their little personalities and quirks, so whether than means I have to sing a song to get your dog to eat, I'm all for it ! I live in a quiet, dog-friendly village with a huge park right outside my living room window, which is basically every dog’s dream. I work only 2 and a half days in the office and spend the rest of the week working from home, so there’s plenty of time for walks, play, cuddles, snack negotiations and companionship throughout the day. I’d genuinely love nothing more than some extra furry company while my partner is working as I'm currently trying to persuade him to adopt another sidekick ! I also have a car and love being outdoors, so your dog can expect anything from peaceful village strolls to scenic adventures through parks, forests, beaches and munroes depending on their personality and energy levels. Whether your dog wants an action-packed adventure or simply someone to curl up beside and be obsessed with them for the day, I can tailor everything to suit their needs. You’ll also receive daily updates, photos and probably messages about the funny thing your dog did that day, because I know how reassuring it is hearing that your pet is happy, relaxed and being treated like one of the family while you’re away. Any questions, feel free to ask me ! Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I work in the office 2.5 days per week (Mondays 8.45am-12.00, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 8:45am–5:00pm). The rest of the week I work from home and am available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. When working from home, I have the flexibility to adjust my schedule to accommodate dog boarding, walks, feeding times, playtime, and any other care needs such as giving medication. I am committed to ensuring pets receive plenty of attention, supervision, exercise, and companionship throughout their stay, and I can adapt my routine as needed to meet each dog’s individual requirements. I provide a safe, comfortable, and caring home environment where pets are treated like part of the family. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medication (if needed), and any specific care instructions provided by the owner. Dogs receive regular walks 3 times a day, playtime as needed, mental stimulation, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I ensure they have access to fresh water at all times and a clean, comfortable space to rest with multiple blankets and dog beds available. I also provide regular updates and photos to owners for peace of mind while they are away. My priority is making sure every pet feels happy, secure, and well cared for during their stay as I know how stressful it can leaving your loved companion with someone else.

Sunday - Doggy day care , dog walks and pet visits can be provided. ..Due to working on a Monday any over night boarding dog/s still here on the Sunday will need to be collect by the evening. Each pet sitting job or dog walking will be choosen by and tailored to the individual needs of the client and their pet/s. It's not a one size fits all and I think tailoring these wants and needs of the individual makes things not only professional but adds a more personal touch as well. Thank you for looking. “Ellie has been fantastic with my whippet Nell. She took my request for dog walks at the last minute and I can't say enough good things. Nell loves her and I'm happy to know I have someone I can trust when I'm new to the area. Thanks Ellie”

“Rhiannon was great in helping us out with walking our dog. She came over for a meet and greet which was really helpful. Rhiannon then came over and walked our dog and put out food for him. She was very reliable and we appreciated her help.”

“Shanice was excellent with Puzzle. Kind and gentle with her and Puzzle enjoyed her walks with her. Shanice took photos of Puzzle when walking her so I was always able to watch her. I would recommend Shanice as she loves animals and Puzzle loved her!”
About: I have a dog of my own at my family home, who is rescue dog, with reactive tendencies towards other dogs. Due to this, I have skills and experience with walking reactive dogs, and have a deep understanding of how they are still the loveable dogs we all know, they are just misunderstood! Throughout the last few years I have looked after many dogs, cats, and other fur friends, through Rover and through my personal business. I would love to help care for your fur baby! I work on a freelance and part-time basis, so have more than enough time to spend with your pooch! I have lots of flexibility so can usually work around your schedule... As I am offering owners home only, I would care for your pet just as you would do! Whether that’s crate trained, free roaming, room limits, whatever your rules are, I will make sure you pet feels right at home and their routine isn’t confused, as this can lead to stress for them! I am flexible, as long as you and your pet are happy and safe :)
About: I have experience with: - Small, medium, large and XL dog breeds - Puppy specific needs - Senior dog care - Reactive dogs - Dogs with specific medical needs - Re-homed dogs - Multiple dog households I am happy to adapt to whichever routine you have in place. I will stop by to give belly rubs and a toilet break, or I can walk/run/train/stimulate your hyper-energetic pup so they can settle down while you are away. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask, I also have experience with smaller pets, cats and horses if there are other jobs to be doing while I'm there. Currently working from home, so if you are local, I can be flexible with my visit timings. Early morning, lunch break or post work/evening visits. Trust is extremely important to me. I want you and your pet to be comfortable with my service, so anything I can do on top of regular communication and live updates please let me know. Safety and security of your pet and home goes without saying. If my visits are going well and I have built a strong relationship with your pet(s) then overnight/multiple days/weeks of care can be discussed.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child, my most recent dog sitting was for 6 months while the lady worked so I had him all day during the week. I am currently working part time so I will have loads of time to spend with your pups and take for fun long walkies . I have a young friendly small dog to keep your pup company, I stay near a large green area plenty of space to walk your fur baby.

About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.
About: I have had pets all my life, including two dogs. I currently have Forest a 4 year old Norwegian elkhound who loves other doggies, people and food! I have experience as a dog walker full time during my studies where I walked up to 6 dogs at a time! Friends and colleagues have relied on me to look after their beloved pets for long periods of time. I currently have a slow paced work from home job where i have a lot of time to look after your beloved pets. I typically do not leave the house unless its for essential food shops or dog walks during the working day! At the weekend i like to explore and take Forest for walks in new places, this is my favourite hobby. I have a secure large fenced garden which has plenty of grass, paving and room to run around! Forest has a great time exploring the garden, sniffing the grass and rolling around on the stones. We have lots of toys and enrichment for him also.

“Debbie and her family are really lovely and took great care of Mungo. They were very accommodating to changes in timings. He was a very happy boy when I picked him up and had lots of fun playing with their dog Mabel.”

“I can not recommend Abbigael enough. She was the perfect host for us, she was attentive, welcoming and understanding of our dogs needs. The level of communication was fantastic it really helped put the mind at ease while we were away. If we need a boarding host again we'll definitely be contacting Abbigael.”

It was clear from the updates and photos that she was relaxed, happy, and enjoying herself. She had plenty of lovely walks and came back to us calm and content. We’d definitely be happy to book again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her!”

“We recently left our cocker spaniel, Poppy, with Caity for her first overnight stay, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Caity was warm, friendly and welcoming from the outset, and it was clear she has a great deal of experience with dogs. Poppy settled in really well and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her time there. When we picked her up, she was relaxed, happy and completely at ease, which is always the best indication that she has been well cared for. It gave us real peace of mind knowing that Poppy was in such capable and caring hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caity to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced dog sitter, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future. 🐾❤️”

“Grant looked after our cockapoo Remy while we were attending a wedding in Dundee. Grant was super friendly and accommodating. He’s someone you can trust to take care of your pet. Thanks again, if we’re back in the area I’m sure Remy would be pleased to see you for another stay!”

“My cocker spaniel stayed with Ricardo overnight and had a great time. Excellent communication from Ricardo. He kept me informed on how Brodie was getting on and sent photos from his stay and the walks he went on. Will definitely be using Ricardo again.”
