“Grant and Angela were amazing. It started with a very professional meet and greet introducing us to their home and allowing them to meet our Labradoodle Bentley. Grant has a Health and Safety background and was very thorough/comprehensive in his introduction.They also introduced him to Otis who would be overlapping his stay with Bentley by half a day. A few days later we left Bentley in their care for two nights. Bentley has separation anxiety however settled in really well. Grant gave us regular updates including Video which really put us at easy seeing Bentley's tail wagging away. We have tried kennels before in which Bentley lost his voice and nose was raw from pushing against the kennel door. Such a relief to have found Grant and Angela. When we picked Bentley up it was very clear he had already formed a bond with Grant and Angela. Emotions dont lie - was great to see. Really was a home from home.”

About: I was raised in a house full of different animals and for the last 20 years I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, gecko & horse. I have experience in looking after small to extra large dogs. I was a fosterer with Thistle Boxer Rescue for 3 years and became a trustee (lead rehomer) matching rescues with their forever family. This was the most rewarding experience ever! I have experience in challenging behaviours and believe in reward based training. My only ask is that any behavioural issues are disclosed before pick up/drop off such as wanting to eat my cat (1 eyed feline who thinks she runs the house) this decreases any risks and helps me to understand the dog better and provide better care. I also like to borrow my friends and family’s dogs just because I like the furry hugs. I like to make sure that all dogs feel loved. I have a variety of walking areas local to me and will work around the needs of the dogs. I am currently not working so will be able to fully focus on any dog that is in my care. Going for walks, playing with toys and snuggling on the couch if that’s what they want. I look after all animals in my care as my own, with love and with lots of fun. I treat others home and property with care and respect.

About: I have had pets all my life, including two dogs. I currently have Forest a 4 year old Norwegian elkhound who loves other doggies, people and food! I have experience as a dog walker full time during my studies where I walked up to 6 dogs at a time! Friends and colleagues have relied on me to look after their beloved pets for long periods of time. I currently have a slow paced work from home job where i have a lot of time to look after your beloved pets. I typically do not leave the house unless its for essential food shops or dog walks during the working day! At the weekend i like to explore and take Forest for walks in new places, this is my favourite hobby. I have a secure large fenced garden which has plenty of grass, paving and room to run around! Forest has a great time exploring the garden, sniffing the grass and rolling around on the stones. We have lots of toys and enrichment for him also.

We go cycling too when we need to blow off the cobwebs. Bella, her daughter Tyne and siouxsie are all black labs, Playful, cheeky and lots of fun , loves the water, the beach and best of all a football! she is very friendly and misses my old border terrier gino being around. The mention of the word park sends her into a frenzy! I tend to take my dogs away in the car for walks as I'm sure they get bored with the same smells. When I’m working, our dogs love going for a little holiday at gran and grandad’s, and sometimes they even tag along to work with me (they’re practically on payroll at this point earning pawnies!) I’ll always check in with you before making any plans, and if anything comes up last minute and I can help—you can count on me. Flexibility, fun, and furry cuddles are what I’m all about! I also would have my doggos stay at their grandparents for the duration of your dogs stay! Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m popping over to care for them in your home, their safety and happiness are always my top priority. I treat every animal like they’re part of my own little crew—and that means lots of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and secure, with plenty of space for relaxing, playing, and cuddling up. I have two friendly dogs who are great with other animals, plus a cat who does her own thing and a turtle who’s surprisingly social! If your pet prefers their own space or needs a quieter setup, I can absolutely accommodate that too! In your home, I make sure to stick to your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, keeping everything familiar and stress-free. I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and safe, and I always make sure your home is respected and left just as I found it.

About: I live in a lovely seaside town with my 9 year old son. I have experience of larger breed dogs having previously owned 2 American Akitas. I also help look after a lovely golden retriever boy. Both my dogs were dog reactive so I have experience of how to deal with that too. After I lost my beautiful girl Star in 2022, I haven’t been able to get another dog but I really do miss the company & the therapy pets provide :-) I work from home most days & have a fenced garden. Plus we live 5 minutes from the golf course & beach so lots of nice walks! We are quite active & my son has football training/matches so we would need dogs to be able to be left alone for a few hours while we are out ☺️ I work at home every day apart from a Tuesday so happy to have company during the week or at the weekend if we don’t have plans. I’m very active & always out getting my steps in on my lunch break. I live with my 9 year old son. We are in a maisonette so there are stairs within the property then it’s all on one level. When working from home, I have the flexibility to adjust my schedule to accommodate dog boarding, walks, feeding times, playtime, and any other care needs such as giving medication. About: I was raised in a house full of different animals and for the last 20 years I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, gecko & horse. I have experience in looking after small to extra large dogs. I was a fosterer with Thistle Boxer Rescue for 3 years and became a trustee (lead rehomer) matching rescues with their forever family. This was the most rewarding experience ever! I have experience in challenging behaviours and believe in reward based training. My only ask is that any behavioural issues are disclosed before pick up/drop off such as wanting to eat my cat (1 eyed feline who thinks she runs the house) this decreases any risks and helps me to understand the dog better and provide better care. I also like to borrow my friends and family’s dogs just because I like the furry hugs. I like to make sure that all dogs feel loved. I have a variety of walking areas local to me and will work around the needs of the dogs. I am currently not working so will be able to fully focus on any dog that is in my care. Going for walks, playing with toys and snuggling on the couch if that’s what they want. I look after all animals in my care as my own, with love and with lots of fun. I treat others home and property with care and respect.
