About: Hi! I’m Kaja, a lifelong animal lover, current cat owner and previous dog owner. I also regularly look after two dogs, so caring for pets is already a very normal (and very enjoyable!) part of my life. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your pet. I’ll always take the time to understand their normal routine, personality and all their little quirks, whether that means plenty of walks and playtime, keeping an energetic dog entertained, or simply giving a cat some company and attention on their own terms. I’m reliable, patient and confident around both cats and dogs, and I’m very happy to follow your usual feeding, walking and care routines. Most importantly, I’ll look after your pet with the same care and attention I’d want someone to give my own. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well looked after. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I can fit pet care around your pet’s usual routine rather than expecting them to adapt to mine. I’m available during weekdays as well as evenings and weekends, and can accommodate regular visits, walks or longer periods of care depending on what you and your pet need. Before you commit to leaving your pet in my care, I’d always be happy to meet you and your pet first. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, talk through their routine and, most importantly, make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe around me. I know how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s care, so I’ll always follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication to walks, litter trays and household routines. I’ll take the time to understand each pet’s personality, boundaries and habits and will never force interaction if they need time to get comfortable with me. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll also treat your space with the same care and respect I would expect someone to show mine.

Abbigael and Alex are fantastic and so friendly. They sent regular updates of him exploring the area, swimming and chilling at home.
