“Abi and Alex did a marvellous job with our two rescue dogs when we went away for the weekend. Our dogs are not the best with strangers but both Abi and Alex managed to get them out of the front door and on a walk on separate days. They kept us updated after every walk which was reassuring and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have invested years into training, behaviour, and obedience work, particularly with my own dog, Piper. She is well socialised and regularly joins calm, structured group walks, and I’m often complimented by other dog owners on her training and behaviour while we’re out and about. I have experience caring for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes, and I understand how important routine, trust, and consistency are for a dog’s wellbeing. I offer walks of all lengths — from short, gentle local strolls and quick comfort breaks to longer countryside walks and adventure-style outings — always tailored to suit each dog’s needs, energy levels, and temperament. I regularly walk long distances with Piper, including hills, beaches, and multi-day walking routes across Scotland, and I’m happy to include other suitable dogs in longer walks where appropriate and agreed in advance. For dogs who are less social or need time to build confidence, one-to-one walks or gradual introductions are always an option. Every dog is treated with patience, care, and respect. My focus is on safe, enriching walks that support both physical exercise and mental wellbeing — giving you peace of mind while your dog is in capable, experienced hands. I currently work part-time, which allows my availability to be flexible and adaptable around shifts. I’m happy to work with owners to find regular or ad-hoc walks that suit both routines. Completely secure garden with 6ft fencing/walled off, 1 neighbour has access to the garden which has two grassy areas. 1 very friendly well mannered medium sized dog, 2 bunnies (access will be restricted).

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs and from the age of 10 I took responsibility for walking and feeding them. Our pack has included Labradors (Cuillin and Harris), Jack Russell (Archie) and stray and indoor cats (sooty and nala). During my time away from home to attend university and then to work in London and bristol, I made sure I remained connected with dogs and frequently walked and looked after friends dogs as well as dogs I found through borrow my doggy. Now back living in Fife and working remotely, I have my own 4 year old whippet called George and I share ownership with 5year old hector the black Labrador that my parents own (who I brought up when living with my parents during lockdown). I have plentiful experience looking after puppies and elderly dogs and understand the attention and love each of these age groups needs. I go on 2-3 dog walks a day and George loves having friends to run around with, and snuggle on the couch with/play with toys with when I work. Therefore I am looking to help others out who need a hand with walking their dogs if they have other commitments or a busy week- as well as having dogs and cats to stay over if you need to go away (I know how hard it is to find people to look after your pets when you go on holiday!). Happy to meet up first to make sure your dog or cat likes George but he is super friendly and just looking for new friends! I also enjoy exploring new areas of the country and am available to stay in your house and look after your dog there while you are on holiday. I am very responsible, schedule my work and social life around my dogs and always looking for more dogs to look after and walk! I have a fully remote job and can flex my hours to fit in with my other plans and dog related responsibilities. I am able to look after your dog any time and any day during the week, including overnight. I work from home so always there to keep your dog company, as will George my gentle and playful 2 year old whippet. I walk George 2-3 times a day and can either take your dog on those or offer individual walks should that suit you better. I have multiple dog baskets and a large crate should your dog require this. While I don’t have an enclosed garden I am nearby enclosed fields where your dog can run off lead if this is their preference and otherwise I keep them well controlled on a lead. I also go to the beach most days too.

About: I've always had dogs from being puppies to their senior years. Each one is special. Canine first aid trained so you can trust they're safe. I've recently decided to give up my job to do dog walking full time and am available most week days from morning till early evening. I'm happy to carry out any instructions that you may have including feeding, toileting, medication,dealing with any little accidents etc. I treat your home with respect and ensure that your furry family member gets a chance to do what they need to.

About: Hi I'm Lauren, I have about 29 years pet care experience this includes my own as well as pet sitting and dog walking for others throughout the years. Over the years I've had many pets who were all very much loved and well cared for but sadly some are no longer here. ( isn't that the worse thing about having pets ). We currently have ; two young cat Pepper & Everest; A Guinea pig Kovu ; Two giant african land snails Bowie and Bella and about 30 odd Ramshorn water snails. So as you'll see I'm used to a wide range of animals not just Cats and Dogs. I run my own wee business. Domestic cleaning & more, part time and would be available for pet sitting or dog walking after 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and all day a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Currently I can offer pet sitting during the day in clients homes and dog walking. I may be able to expand this in the future. Each pet sitting job or dog walking will be choosen by and tailored to the individual needs of the client and their pet/s. About: I’ve taken care of pets of ever kind since I was young For friends and family. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. I am currently unemployed, which means I have a lot of free time and my schedule is quite open. I don't have many commitments or a busy agenda, so I am available at any time that works for you. I have a fenced garden with plenty of space to play in. I also have a small terrier who is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. I can follow any special instructions aswell.

About: I have had pets all my life, including two dogs. I currently have Forest a 4 year old Norwegian elkhound who loves other doggies, people and food! I have experience as a dog walker full time during my studies where I walked up to 6 dogs at a time! Friends and colleagues have relied on me to look after their beloved pets for long periods of time. I currently have a slow paced work from home job where i have a lot of time to look after your beloved pets. I typically do not leave the house unless its for essential food shops or dog walks during the working day! At the weekend i like to explore and take Forest for walks in new places, this is my favourite hobby. I have a secure large fenced garden which has plenty of grass, paving and room to run around! Forest has a great time exploring the garden, sniffing the grass and rolling around on the stones. We have lots of toys and enrichment for him also.

About: I have owned Cats and Dogs for many years, i am a very outdoors person and love to explore new walks and adventures with furbabies Every morning i take a drive to a local forrest or park and go for a walk with my dogs, i also have agility in the front garden for extra play time, a tired dog is a happy dog and i am full of fun and energy My dogs have the freedom of the home, i have crates available for visiting chewers incase i need to nip out for a short time, or crated with open doors for the shy types if they need somewhere to chill on their own, plenty clean beds available also, i have an open door into my back garden in the good weather, so as much access as they like, i will have a paddling pool in the summer for dogs who like the water and as my client list grows so will the activities i provide .. i will send pupdates to your whats app to show you how your baby os getting on and settling in, video calls are also available

About: I have been bought up around dogs for 25 years now, reliable and trustworthy, been around many dogs within family and neighbours, currently take an elderly neighbour dog out for a daily walk. I don’t just love to care for dogs I have a passion for care at home and adult services. My main job is care at home and adult services, availability may change slightly due to having a rotation rota, sooner you book in the better for me however happy with any last minute I may be able to do. Unfortunately I won’t be able to care for dogs in my own home at present. However I currently live in a flat and have access to a communal area and local walk routes, so a good walk will be completed.

About: I have experience caring for a wide range of pets, from large breeds like Dobermans and Great Danes to smaller dogs including Dachshunds, Papillons, and Shih Tzus, as well as cats. I adapt my care to each pet’s individual needs. I’m not working at the moment, so I have full availability and flexibility to care for your pets. This allows me to give them plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and consistent care throughout the day and week. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment in my home or in a pet owner’s home. I follow routines closely, supervise pets at all times, respect house rules, and can crate pets if needed for comfort and safety.

About: I love all dogs - big and small! I grew up with dogs - a German short haired pointer and an Italian Spinone, as well as lots of other lovely dogs in my extended family too. I now have a two year old cocker spaniel called Juno. She is well trained and very sociable with all dogs and she loves to have other dogs to stay! I’m happy to work on any training needs your dog has while staying with me. I work from home 2 or 3 days a week. I tend to take Juno for one longer (1+ hours) walk per day as well as a couple of short trips to the park. I can adjust this depending on your dog - longer/more adventurous for energetic dogs and shorter/more gentle walks for older or slower dogs. We love to go down to Portobello, round Arthur’s Seat and up to Blackford Hill. I live on my own and have a 2 year old cocker spaniel. She is very friendly and gets on with all dogs - but also knows when to leave dogs that don’t want to play with her! I will only ever take one dog at a time so it will only ever be the two dogs together. I have a secure shared garden with grass lawn and surrounding stone wall. In the house, your dog can make itself at home. I have dog beds in both rooms and they are also welcome to be on the sofa/armchairs. I’ve got lots of dog toys and chews. My flat is on the third floor so may not be suitable for older dogs with mobility/joint issues.

About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds through looking after family and friends dogs. They relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently at Abertay University studying Food, Nutrition, and Health. Therefore, i would love to take care of your pets in my spare time! I have a closed off garden to keep your dogs safe. I can easily crate your dogs also if that is what you would be looking to do.
