About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life starting from watching neighbours furry friends to now enjoying life with my Cocker Spaniel - Rollo. I always try to give every dog a home boarding experience that makes them feel comfortable and like they are in a home away home. Our daily and weekly routine is as follows. 7am - I complete breakfast time and morning walks allowing the doggies to enjoy waking up, enjoying locating sticks, sniffing spots and exploring till 9am. 9am-12 - Working from home I ensure the dogs have constant supervision with the doggies free to enjoy the garden and partioned part of the house until 12. 12-3pm - After the afternoon walk (12-1.30pm) we have rest time where the doggies can enjoy relaxing in the house, watching Bluey or dog TV and the most important things (doggy yoghurt ice lolly and cuddles). If everyone has been good we stop at Starbucks for a well deserved Puppacino. 3-5pm - I usually finish work by 5pm where I organise dinner time and evening adventures (Roslin Glen, Musselburgh Lagoons & Holyrood Park are my favourite evening walks). 8-10pm - Winding down time is where we begin to get settled in for the night with relaxing in the garden and movie night with popcorn. Each dog is different and we make sure to make them feel comfortable and make their stay with us as much as like being at home as possible. For dogs boarding with us my non negotiable is that every dog upon arrival will be checked in and issued with a GPS collar with our contact details

About: I was a dog walker for around 2 years pre covid. I love all breeds and sizes of dogs! My partner and son who I live with share my love for dogs.. thankfully! I am a self employed cleaner in houses around my street, I will always be close to home. We are an outdoor loving family (son goes to outdoor nursery) and are always going on walks in the fields behind us/woods around our town. *please note, we are located in the EH22 postcode area* I have a fenced back garden and I have space for a dog crate if need be. Pets can be fed inside or outside, whichever is preferred. My partner Michael, who can be seen in my profile picture, will be home with myself when caring for your pet. He's also a pet lover who is brilliant at giving ear and belly rubs. If your pet is up to it, they can have a go in his work van!

About: As a lifetime animal lover and pet owner I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds and like to think I give off a very calm, steady energy that they react well to. I've taken care of my partner's family dog - a border collie named Molly - for 10 years, as well 2 labra-doodles named Crumble and Tiffin pretty regularly. I would absolutely love to have a dog of my own but our house is too small and I think my cat Reno would have a heart attack out of spite, so walking and taking care of other people's dogs is a nice way for me to have them in my life without causing an all-out war at home. I’m self employed and therefore very flexible. Mornings are normally better but I can easily adapt to whatever is best for your schedule. Weekdays, weekends or holidays. I know how important it is for animals to feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I have quite an anxious cat myself and therefore am well versed in keeping things quiet and calm for the animals I take care of. Of course, like people, animals have their own personalities and what works for one might not work for another. I think I'm very good and practiced at reading their body language to determine what they need in the moment, whether that's to give them space and time to adjust to a stressful situation, or a full-on play session.

About: I have five cats of my own, so caring for pets is a big part of my everyday life. They’re all boys and all very different, so I’m used to different personalities, routines, and giving each pet the care and attention they need. I’m comfortable with automatic litter boxes, pet feeders, and water fountains, and I know how important it is to keep everything clean, topped up, and running properly. Looking after my own cats has made me patient, reliable, and very aware of the little things that help pets feel safe, settled, and cared for while you’re away. I work part-time from home and study Law full-time at Edinburgh Napier, so I’m used to managing my time well and have a fairly flexible schedule. I also have my own car, which means I can be flexible with travel and visit times. I have five cats of my own, so caring for pets is part of my everyday routine. At home, I use fully automatic litter trays and clean them daily, including emptying waste, topping up litter, checking the app, and cleaning the sensors to make sure everything is running properly. I also use automatic water fountains and feeders, so I’m used to topping up water regularly (especially with five boys who drink a lot), keeping everything clean, and making sure food is given on a set schedule with the right portion sizes—not too much and not too little. In a pet owner’s home, I’d follow the same level of care and attention, keeping everything clean, consistent, and comfortable for your pet.

About: Myself and my partner Lorimer have both owned and cared for animals for most of our lives. Whilst we do not have any furry friends of our own right now, we would love to spend time with yours! We are both comfortable with cats and dogs of any size. I work full time from home Monday to Friday with a very flexible working pattern. My partner splits his time between home and the office, so there is always someone at home to take care of your pet. We have no children or pets of our own, and a house with a fenced garden. We live nearby some great parks and walking routes!

About: I have grown up with dogs from birth ranging from Jack Russell and German shepherds to rottweilers and now I have a french bulldog. I have 20 years of experience, including medical treatment etc. Looking to make my evening and weekend walks more entertaining by walking a friendly canine at the same time. Often take walks in big parks, on the pentlands or at the beach and also have an SUV to accommodate any breed. I work hybrid and mainly from home so have loads of availability especially evenings and weekends. Love the fresh air and taking a walk. Have no issues with horrid weather either as somebody whom has worked outside often. We have no fence in the garden so therefore have more walks with our dog. Playtime is always available. Can bath if needed and make whatever food required.

About: I often look after friends dogs may who have anxiety from being away from their owner however have felt comfortable and at home with me. I may work full time however my evenings and weekends are free. I also often work from home so happily do a full day dog sitting with walks at lunch and in the evening. I live in a flat, however I am close by to the meadows and Arthur seat for a variety of walks and live in a smoke free home.

About: I took grooming courses, once worked with an aggressive cat and by the way I managed to find contact with him, come and see for yourself I currently work one week 2 days, another week 5 days, and so again 2 days and 5 days, so I will find time for your ponytail I have a fenced yard, it's safe here, I also have a cat, I can even groom your pet, comb it, wash it, dry it, and also feed it.

About: I am absolutely dog obsessed and provide the best possible care and love for any dogs in my care. I have taken care of dogs all my life, mainly sighthounds but also labradors, Staffies, pugs etc. I am confident with any breed and size, and I look after a whippet in my home on a regular basis. I currently work part time so can be fairly flexible - my partner also does shift work so can be in the house even if I’m not (I work during the day on a Thursday). I have both a shared garden and a private garden, although they are accessed by stairs (I live in a first floor flat). Am happy to have dogs on my sofa/in my bed or in their own bed/crate.
