I am a lifelong lover of all furry companions and my family have had all sorts, including many cats and several dogs. Living in a rural place, we used to take in stray and unwanted kittens a lot and we have had 4 Labradors from puppies. I currently have my own cats and a dog with my partner, we have 2 sibling cats, one male and one female, and a Newfoundland Labrador cross.

Helena was fantastic. This was our first time both using Cat in a Flat and booking Helena to look after our cat Missy, so I was understandably nervous but Helena really put me at ease. Helena followed our instructions with love and care, and we came home to a calm and happy cat. We highly recommend her, and would love to book her again for our future holidays!
Helena took very good care of our cats and kept us updated throughout our holiday. I would be happy for her to look after them the next time we go away.
Helena has been great as always, also allowing one extra day to booked on the fly due to a travel delay! She knows what our cat needs and they have built a nice relationship over various visits.
Helena was incredible looking after my cat. She was incredibly attentive, gave him both indoor and outdoor time as per my request, and they really bonded. She sent me lots of pictures and was great at communicating. I will definitely book Helena again for cat sitting in the future.
Helena was great, kept me up to date with Tibby my cat. Tibby is an anxious cat but she responded well to Helena and was happy on my return. Very happy with everything and would use Helena again. It’s such a relief to know that my cat was in safe hands as Tibby is an anxious sensitive wee soul.
We were so grateful to have Helena’s help looking after our two cats while we were away on holiday. She is super professional, experienced and was totally unfazed by our grumpy older cat who can be a bit standoffish with new people. We arrived home to two happy cats and a tidy home. We would not hesitate to book her again or to recommend her services to other pet owners! Thanks again Helena ☺️

Schedule
This is my only occupation, so I am largely available for pet care. I do a group dog walk every week day lunchtime, I have transport to pick up and drop off dogs and take them to different places for walks, and can currently take on regular clients for group walks. I have some availability for non-regular solo walks, sometimes in the morning, but more often in the afternoon. I always allow time in my schedule for catsitting visits, in the morning and afternoon. I can potentially provide boarding for one dog at a time depending on how they are with cats and their exercise needs, and I am happy to provide housesitting for dogs and other household pets when my schedule allows.

A dog in my care can expect enriching walks, plenty of play time, affection and treats! My feline friends can expect to be well catered for and get plenty of attention (if they're inclined to it). Dogs will always initially be walked on lead and I will always ensure I can adequately control them with training commands before they would be allowed off lead.
