Pet care in Balgonie
My partner and I have grown up with cats and dogs, we have our own dog, and we’ve looked after friends and family’s dogs. We’ve trained our own dog, Juniper, from a puppy and she has excellent recall and knows various tricks. I’m also comfortable administering medication.

Abbigael and Alex are fantastic and so friendly. They sent regular updates of him exploring the area, swimming and chilling at home. I could tell from the videos that my dog had settled really well which is such a relief when your away. Will absoloutly without doubt be booking again when I next need a sitter.
What can I say about the service provided to Angus by Abbigael except that it was amazing. From the meet and greet to the daily updates via WhatsApp, this is a service I would very highly recommend. If anyone needs their dog house sat I seriously don't think you can go wrong by booking your dog with Abbigael and Alexander. Top class service by true dog lovers. 10/10.
Abbigael provides consistently great care for my dog. He is always relaxed, calm and happy when he returns to me. She sends brilliant pictures too, showing him on wonderful beach and countryside walks. His paw was a bit tender when I dropped him off this time and she looked after that too. She is a great dog sitter!
As always I can't fault Abbigael and Alex they are great. Nymeria came home waggy tailed and happy. Its a great confidence know we can safely her with them and the updates are always appreciated 🐾
Molly had a great 10 days with Abbie, Alex and Juniper. Abbie took great care in finding out about her needs, meeting her a couple of times beforehand and introducing her to the ever-patient Juniper. She sent reassuring photos of Molly on long adventurous walks and looking very much at home on the sofa. Thank you!
Alfie, my dog, always returns relaxed, happy, well exercised and content from Abbie and Alex's care. They send me pictures showing him enjoying walks in the countryside and by the sea. Alfie likes playing with Abbie's dog too. I completely and unreservedly recommend Abbie and Alex as dog carers.

Schedule
I work part time in the evenings and my partner works from home during the week. There is always one of us at home. Our dog currently gets 2-3 walks a day (morning, lunchtime, evening).

I have a fenced garden, a spare crate, various dog beds in different rooms, and a private entrance to our upper flat/villa. We’re fairly rural so there are plenty of walks to enjoy nearby that tend to be quiet.

A typical day
A typical day looks like a morning walk and play at a local park or through the countryside. We live close to the coast so (provided the dogs are ok with car travel) a trip to the beach if allowed. Our dog sometimes goes for a walk at lunchtime with my partner Alex who works from home. Otherwise, some enrichment activity with toys and treats. Alex also takes the dog out in the evening and usually goes somewhere locally around Balgonie estate.

- Juniper (our dog) has had bad experiences with intact males. It’s important to know whether your dog is intact. If they are we would have to organise a time to meet before any at home sitting or daycare. If any dogs have any additional needs (behavioural, dietary, medical, etc.) we would also need to know.
