About: I have been around dogs my whole life and have cared for them since I was young. Growing up with dogs has given me a natural understanding of their behaviour, needs, and emotions. I am confident handling different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where your dog will feel comfortable and happy. I follow routines carefully, including feeding, walks, and any special care instructions. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a quiet cuddle, I adjust to their needs. I am patient, responsible, and truly love spending time with dogs. Your pet will be treated like family and given lots of attention, care, and affection while you are away.I I am a student, and during the summer holidays I have plenty of free time. Caring for pets fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine. I dedicate time for feeding, walks, play, and rest, making sure every pet feels happy, loved, and well cared for. I maintain a clean, calm, and secure environment, whether in my home or the owner’s. My dog enjoys socializing with new friends, making visits fun and comforting. I follow each pet’s routine, respect their space, and prioritize building trust with both pets and owner

About: I've had cats since I was 5 years old and grew up around dogs. However, it wasn't until I did my diploma in animal care that I discovered a true passion for looking after dogs, including training with positive reinforcement methods. I am currently trying to slowly build up a portfolio of clients, due to me having fibromyalgia this is a great stepping stone until I set up my own business. I do not have much of a garden, it's shared between 4 people. However, I live out of the town center so can take the dogs on walks away from busy streets.

Grant took good care of Maisey for us. Grant kept us updated during her stay by sending videos of them out on their walks. Maisey was happy and content when we picked her up. We wouldn't hesitate to book Grant again, and are already looking at dates !

About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. All I need to work is an internet connection and a space for my laptop, and I rarely have more than 1 meeting a day. I also have a car for getting around and emergencies. Pets in my care are never left alone for extended periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual routines, whether that means regular walks, play sessions, medical needs, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.

Leah has been excellent with our dog ithaka. We have so far had a successful meet and greet and first day care session. Her dog Ripley is wonderful and friendly, and Leah and David are very kind and considerate owners. Leah has had experience with a blind dog herself which was very reassuring for us leaving ithaka in her care. Ithaka came back tired and happy We look forward to the next dog sitting

About: If you're looking for a pet sitter who will provide loving, attentive care for your furry family members, you’re in the right place! I’m a passionate animal lover and have had many pets throughout my life, including cats, guinea pigs, and currently my Cocker Spaniel, Sonny, who I share with my parents (though he will not be present during any pet sitting). I offer pet sitting in my home, which has a secure garden and easy access to beautiful countryside walks. Each visit is tailored to your pet’s needs, whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just companionship. Please get in touch, I’d love to meet you and your pets! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, as both my husband and I work remotely from home. I also work flexibly, so I can choose my hours to make sure your pets get plenty of attention, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special routines your pets have. I provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. My home has a fully fenced garden, and no other dogs will be in attendance, so your pet can relax, play, and explore safely. I prioritise trust and consistency, following any routines or instructions you provide to make sure your pet feels happy and at ease.

First time leaving my dog Fede at a daycare with someone he didn’t know, and Isidora was very caring and made him feel at home. She was very attentive to his needs throughout the day and kept me updated on how he was doing while he was at her house. She also made sure to introduce her sweet dog Bono to Fede before they came inside, and everything went perfectly. I would definitely leave Fede with her again.

About: Hi there! I'm Gary, a lifelong dog lover/owner and dedicated pet sitter and walker. Growing up with animals I've spent my entire life caring for and loving dogs of all breeds and sizes. My extensive experience with dogs means I understand their needs, behaviour, and how to keep them happy and healthy. My goal is to eventually have my own doggy day care business. I have multiple reviews on here from owners pets I’ve looked after so please check them out :) Work From Home: As I work from home, your dog will never be lonely. They'll enjoy constant companionship, regular attention, and plenty of playtime throughout the day. Due to the nature of my work I’m incredibly flexible regarding times and days. Evenings and weekends are also not an issue as well as overnight stays if need be. Please inform me if you have requested a booking and no longer require the service, it affects others booking me and delays me being able to give them a clear answer. I have a fenced garden that is completely secure and I am experienced in crate training if need be. You can also give instructions on how best to look after your pet at your own home or mine. Safety First: Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I am attentive, vigilant, and prepared to handle any situation, ensuring your dog is safe and secure at all times. Reliable and Trustworthy: You can count on me to be punctual, reliable, and communicative. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is in good hands. Personalized Care: I treat every dog like my own, providing personalized care tailored to your pet's specific needs and preferences. From leisurely walks to energetic play sessions, I ensure they get the exercise and stimulation they need. Feeding and Medication: I follow your instructions meticulously, ensuring your pet’s diet and medication needs are met.

About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Angus

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Angus on Rover is £23 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 89 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Angus. About 87% of Angus sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Angus commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
