“First time leaving my kitten but honestly she couldn’t have been in better hands, although she didn’t settle straight away Rosanna persevered and won her over. Very good and honest updates were great and made me feel relaxed that she was in good hands”

“Anne was lovely and very accommodating to our drop off/pick up times. She provided lots of updates and photos of how Arlo was and what he was getting up to. Arlo was very well looked after and looked like he had a great time. Hopefully he'll be back to stay again”

“Absolutely amazing, kept in constant contact throughout Loki’s stay and sent lots of pictures of him. He received the best care and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much for taking amazing care of our boy 💚”

“Would 100% Grant to anyone looking for a sitter in the area, we could not have been happier with the service provided, from the meet and greet arranged a couple of days prior to the photo updates sent on the day, all very reassuring. Grants communication was brilliant throughout. We really weren't sure how Wilson would be as he has only been left with family before but we need not have worried, Grant took Wilson on a walk as soon as we dropped him off and by the time they got home they were great friends - im not sure Wilson even missed us. The photo of Wilson napping, cuddled up on the sofa told us everything we needed to know, Grant treated Wilson as his own and we were so thankful for his knowledge and kindness.”

“This was Lola’s second time staying with Ellie. Lola absolutely loves their time together and always comes home so happy (& shattered) from all of the play time! Ellie took Lola to the beach, (reached out before hand to ask if that would be okay) which was so lovely. It’s so nice to know that she's going somewhere that she will be looked after just like she is at home.”

“Millie & Rubi had a great first overnight stay with Becky! We received lots of photos while they were there and they seemed so happy, chilling on the couch with the family or out on their walks. Communication was really good beforehand, I felt relaxed about leaving them there. When we picked them up they were so chilled, like they’d just had a really nice time. Very happy to be putting them back next month! Would highly recommend Becky!”

“Rhiannon was very kind, thoughtful and kind towards Alfie. She asked lots of good questions about his care, and was obviously concerned to give him an enjoyable stay. She clearly succeeded- he came back relaxed and happy having had good long walks and a welcoming household to stay with. Thank you Rhiannon and family . :))))”

“Lewis and Claudia are clearly dog people who our dogs instantly took to, even with anxiety issues. They live just next to Baxter Park which is great for walks and exercise. Dogs were shattered and happy after the stay - perfect! 5 stars would recommend and will be using again.”

“I would like to say a big thank you to Grant for looking after our dog ,Rosie. This was Rosie’s first stay with him and we had a couple of visits to meet Grant and see where Rosie would be staying.Grant sent us videos and updates regularly and Rosie was very happy during her stay.Highly recommend Grant and definitely will have Grant watch Her again.”

“Really excellent - Jura had such a good time with Danielle and Ian! He got lots of good walks, and Danielle kept me updated with pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!”

“I am so so happy with the care Leah offered my collie Scout. He received long country walks as well as playing in her garden with her dog Ripley. Scout was more than happy staying in Leah’s house and settled well after being out. He received a bath after a mucky walk and was happy playing with toys along with Ripley. I have no hesitation in recommending Leah as a first class sitter. Thank you so much for caring for Scout and perhaps meet you again in the future.”

“Bethany kept us up to date with photos during our trip and it looked like our pup was having a great time. We also really appreciated her being able to fit us in at short notice. Would definitely book again!”

“Andi was absolutely fantastic when keeping our boy over our wedding/honeymoon period. She was always quick to reply in the booking process, and made sure we had frequent updates and photos of Buzz when we were away, totally putting us at ease. It looks like Buzz had an absolute ball on his stay! Would highly recommend Andi, we will definitely be booking with her again in future.”

“My cats and dog all adore staying with Sabrina! She makes a huge fuss of them and really treats them like her own. My cockapoo comes home thrilled at having had a big sleepover, running around the whole house and garden with her buddies, Sabrina's own dogs. And the cats are thoroughly relaxed, as Sabrina sets them up with their own room complete with a big window for them to watch the world outside.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a Dalmatian called Tessa when I was four years old, and she quickly became my best friend. Growing up, I also spent lots of time helping to care for my gran’s dogs, taking them on walks and learning how to look after them. My dream job was always to be a vet, and I even used to watch Cesar Millan religiously because I was fascinated by dog behaviour. I have a family dog who is a 16-year-old Border Collie called Blu (you’ll spot him in my profile picture!). I trained him myself, and he’s the sweetest, best-behaved boy. When I was around 12, I walked a neighbour’s dog every day after school, and ever since then I’ve loved caring for other people’s pets. These days I regularly look after my mother-in-law’s Cockapoo as well as dogs and cats for family friends. I’ve been pet sitting for the same family for the past couple of years, and it’s what inspired me to join Rover. Although I don’t currently have a dog living with me, that’s only because I want to wait until I’m in a house before getting one of my own. I genuinely miss having a dog around and love spending time outdoors on long walks. My grandad always used to say I had “animals on the brain”—and he wasn’t wrong! At work, everyone knows how much I love dogs. If they can’t find me, they joke that they just need to look for the nearest dog! While I didn’t grow up with cats, pet sitting has made me very confident caring for them too, and I’ve really grown to love their unique personalities. I work full-time as a Housing Officer, but I have a very flexible job and often work from home, so I can fit my schedule around your pet’s needs. If required, I’m also happy to take annual leave to provide the best possible care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to treat them with the same love, patience and care that I would my own. My long-term dream is to work with animals full-time, so every pet I care for means the world to me. Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily life because it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outdoors, going on long walks and exploring nature, so having a dog to share those adventures with is something I really look forward to. I work full-time as a Housing Officer, but I often work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means I can plan my working days around bookings whenever possible. I also drive, making it easy for me to travel for walks, drop-in visits and house sitting. Most weekends I’m free, and as I’m currently saving for my wedding next year, I tend to spend my weekends going to the gym and spending time with family and friends. That means I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets and making sure they get the attention, exercise and companionship they deserve. For me, spending time with animals never feels like work—it’s something I genuinely love and one of the highlights of my week. Your pet’s safety, happiness and routine are my top priorities. I live in a clean, second-floor, one-bedroom flat with access to a shared garden. As there are no other pets living in my block,it’s a calm environment where your pet can feel safe and relaxed. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow your usual routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, exercise, playtime or simply lots of cuddles. If your dog is crate trained, I’m happy to use a crate if that’s part of their normal routine. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll respect both your home and your pet’s routine, making sure they feel comfortable, secure and well looked after while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you have complete peace of mind.

“Many thanks to Lynsey-Jane for looking after Ishka again while i was away. The care and attention you gave to Ishka was so appreciated by her and me. It was clear from the photos you sent of your visit that Ishka was delighted to see you again and enjoyed the fuss you made of her. Looking forward to our next booking!”

“Rosanna has been an absolute rock for us while looking after our tabby cat Eddie during our recent holiday. She is friendly, empathetic and professional, very easy to communicate with. She cared for Eddie really well feeding and fussing him, making sure his food bowls were clean and giving him treats occasionally. We had to extend our booking twice due to one of us getting ill whilst on holiday and she took this in her stride arranging new bookings from her side and communicating clearly all the way through. We really couldn't be more grateful and would recommend her for sure. Thank you Rosanna, we will certainly be in touch for future bookings, if you'll have us! 😊”

“Josh took the time to look after my two orange cats at short notice, and I cannot speak highly enough. I was away for the weekend, and having someone as caring and attentive as Josh genuinely put my mind at ease. He communicated very frequently, sent photos and gave regular updates. Everything was kept clean and the cats were made to feel happy and prioritized. I would absolutely recommend him and use him again to look after my cats.”

About: I've had cats since I was 5 years old and grew up around dogs. However, it wasn't until I did my diploma in animal care that I discovered a true passion for looking after dogs, including training with positive reinforcement methods. I am currently trying to slowly build up a portfolio of clients, due to me having fibromyalgia this is a great stepping stone until I set up my own business. I do not have much of a garden, it's shared between 4 people. However, I live out of the town center so can take the dogs on walks away from busy streets.
“Fiona is a thoughtful and knowledgeable sitter. She was kind and gentle with Pip - letting her settle in at her own pace and keeping a careful eye on her. We felt confident that Pip was in kind and safe hands!”

“I wish I could give Dorja more than 5 stars because she is absolutely amazing !! Her communication is excellent and she truly cared for Bruno 🥰 she went above and beyond and Bruno absolutely loved spending time with her and her fur babies🐶 I will 1000% be booking with her again ❤️”

“Thank you Grant for looking after our beloved dachshund for the day. when we picked up Baxter he seemed happy and settled. We visit family a couple of times a year and will definitely look to use Grant again. Thank you!”

“Always happy leaving my pup with Carolanne. He can be cheeky but she handles it well and sends me lots of photos from their adventures! He always comes home and sleeps all evening after all the excitement :)”

“Leah has been excellent with our dog ithaka. We have so far had a successful meet and greet and first day care session. Her dog Ripley is wonderful and friendly, and Leah and David are very kind and considerate owners. Leah has had experience with a blind dog herself which was very reassuring for us leaving ithaka in her care. Ithaka came back tired and happy We look forward to the next dog sitting”

About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. All I need to work is an internet connection and a space for my laptop, and I rarely have more than 1 meeting a day. I also have a car for getting around and emergencies. Pets in my care are never left alone for extended periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual routines, whether that means regular walks, play sessions, medical needs, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.

“My pup staying with Natalia for a day and he was happy and playful, as we come home. He requires attention at all times and 2 meals a day with many toilet walks. Quite a full on. I would highly recommend Natalia’s care to anyone.”

“Bethany was absolutely brilliant with our pups as they had a day with her during our wedding day! 🔥♥️ Bethany throughout the whole process was very efficient with communication and accommodating for us. Bethany kept us updated with how the dogs had settled and a few pictures to keep our minds at ease. The dogs must have sensed a lovely calm atmosphere within the household as the toddled off without even a bye 🤣 We would definitely recommend Bethany and will definitely use her in the future if we need! 5 stars all round! Bethany even went the extra mile to drop our pups off at parents house at night before they arrived home ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I'm often quite anxious to leave Steve with anyone. As a 10 month old black lab, he can be a lot to handle! Yet as we were moving house, Mariah very graciously agreed to take Steve on for doggy day care and overnight boarding! Mariah and her partner were amazing with him. She even brought him some pig ears as a treat! She took him for many walks and kept me updated with lots of pics throughout the day. I can see she truly has a passion for dogs and I would leave Steve again with her in a heartbeat! Could not recommend enough. Thank you Mariah!”
“First time leaving my dog Fede at a daycare with someone he didn’t know, and Isidora was very caring and made him feel at home. She was very attentive to his needs throughout the day and kept me updated on how he was doing while he was at her house. She also made sure to introduce her sweet dog Bono to Fede before they came inside, and everything went perfectly. I would definitely leave Fede with her again.”

About: I have over four years of experience in animal care and I am currently studying HNC in Animal Care. I have grown up with dogs my entire life, caring for a range of breeds from small Chorkies to large American Mastiffs. I am confident in feeding, walking, administering medication and providing daily care tailored to each dog’s needs. Through my course, I have completed a dog training unit and I have also taken a private dog grooming course, giving me a good understanding of behaviour, handling and coat care. I am reliable, patient and focused on making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable and well looked after. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine and I am available most days throughout the week. I currently attend college Wednesday to Friday, but I live very close and can return home during lunch breaks to check on pets if needed. I also have shorter days towards the end of the week, which gives me additional flexibility. Outside of college hours, I am fully available for walks, visits and pet sitting. I am committed to providing consistent, reliable care and can adapt my schedule to suit each pet’s needs. I live in a quiet one-bedroom flat with a calm environment that is well suited for pets. While I do not have a garden, I make sure dogs receive regular walks, exercise, and outdoor time to meet their needs. Inside, I have a spacious living area and hallway, and I can easily adjust the space to keep pets comfortable and safe. For cats staying in my home, I am happy to keep them indoors to ensure their safety. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel settled and secure. For example, when cat sitting for my siblings, I made sure they were safely indoors by their usual time, followed their feeding schedule, and stayed with them until they were settled for the night. I am attentive, trustworthy, and always prioritise a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine, making sure they feel as relaxed as possible while in my care.

I also have a car so I am able to visit whenever is necessary for your pet to get the care they need. I have a fenced garden and my friendly retriever Juniper can keep your furry friends company. Also happy to visit your home to care for your pets if that makes them more comfortable!

“Maze absolutely loved being away with Ewelina. Ewelina keeps you up to date about the walk also providing photos. Myself and Maze couldn’t thank her enough for the 2 walks. Maze will be excited to see her again for their next walk”

About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.
About: Hi there, my name is Amaris. I've loved animals ever since I was a little kid. Despite my family moving around a lot - we eventually had the chance to fall in love with a lovely orange tabby named Plato. Spending years of my childhood alongside him - I've developed an understanding of an animal's needs and a genuine love of their companionship. As an adult I've taken every opportunity to care for creatures big and small. This includes cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and even sheep! I've volunteered at farms and I regularly take care of my friend's pets when they're out of town. In addition, I have some experience assisting special needs pets and helping them take medicine. I'm dedicated to making your dog or cat feel comfortable and loved while you're gone - whether it's through a game of fetch on the beach or a cozy cuddle session at home. I'll gladly update you with pics and videos of your fur baby, and I'm more than happy to keep your home tidy and organised whilst your gone. Thank you for reading my profile. Feel free to message me with any questions! 🩷 I'm a student, so my schedule is very flexible. All my lectures are recorded and posted online, and this allows me to integrate caring for your pet into my daily routine. I'm more than happy to see your dog or cat whenever it suits their schedule. I will try to stick to your pet's usual routine and closely follow instructions regarding feeding times, grooming, walk times, playtime activities, medicine intake, and more. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet feels safe and secure whilst you're gone, and will pay extra attention to animals more prone to anxiety. I'll gladly play with your pet with some of their favorite toys to keep them happy and entertained. Throughout the day I will update you with photos and texts to let you know how your pet is feeling. I'm always prepared in case of an emergency, ensuring that I understand any health issues and the warning signs to look out for.
About: I’ve been lucky enough to spend my whole life around animals and had a childhood surrounded by ponies, horses, a collie, a Belgian sheepdog, lots of cats, sheep, and even Muscovy ducks. Caring for animals has always been a wonderful part of life for me. As an adult, I rescued Brewster, a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Mastiff mix who had been re-homed several times due to his extremely high energy levels. With structure and the right routine, he settled beautifully and became my beloved gentle giant. I also have experience with springadors and other high-energy breeds. I’ve looked after friends’ cats in both flats and farm settings, and cared for horses while their owners were away on holiday. I work part-time as a secondary supply teacher, so I’m used to being in a trusted, responsible role where clear communication is essential. If you’re looking for someone experienced, reliable, and genuinely comfortable with all kinds of animals, I’d love to help. I am available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week and at weekends, with weekend house sitting also available with notice. I provide calm, reliable care tailored to your pet’s usual routine and always aim to help pets feel safe, settled, and comfortable in their own environment. I take your pet’s safety seriously and always stick strictly to any routines or instructions you leave. I’m experienced with many different breeds and personalities, so your pet will be handled calmly, confidently, and with genuine love.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds through looking after family and friends dogs. They relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently at Abertay University studying Food, Nutrition, and Health. Therefore, i would love to take care of your pets in my spare time! I have a closed off garden to keep your dogs safe. I can easily crate your dogs also if that is what you would be looking to do.

“Absolutely delighted with the level of professionalism Anya showed. She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and ensured Lomond and Rosie had the best time. They enjoyed adventures in the car, a visit to a dog park, and even spent time with Anya’s own two dogs and another dog currently in her care. I received plenty of photos, which really helped ease my anxiety about how my two would settle with other dogs. Seeing them all relaxing together was amazing. Overall, an excellent service from a confident young lady who clearly loves animals and it truly shows.”
