About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.
“Grant and Angela were amazing. It started with a very professional meet and greet introducing us to their home and allowing them to meet our Labradoodle Bentley. Grant has a Health and Safety background and was very thorough/comprehensive in his introduction.They also introduced him to Otis who would be overlapping his stay with Bentley by half a day. A few days later we left Bentley in their care for two nights. Bentley has separation anxiety however settled in really well. Grant gave us regular updates including Video which really put us at easy seeing Bentley's tail wagging away. We have tried kennels before in which Bentley lost his voice and nose was raw from pushing against the kennel door. Such a relief to have found Grant and Angela. When we picked Bentley up it was very clear he had already formed a bond with Grant and Angela. Emotions dont lie - was great to see. Really was a home from home.”

She made such a fuss of them, and set them up so comfortably - the cats had their own "suite", with cubbies and plenty of blankets, and our dog was all set up on the end of the bed. She spent several days calmly getting to know our animals in their own space and at their own pace, so they could comfortably warm up to the new surroundings in their own time. She sent us daily photos and updates on how they were doing, and was always very quick to respond to my messages. They were all showered in cuddles and love, and we feel like Sabrina really treated our pets as her own.”

About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

“We were a bit apprehensive about leaving our rescue staffy for the first time. Rhiannon was really great from the offset. She is quick at responding to communications, and followed Blue’s routine well. She sent some photos during his stay and he looked very settled and happy. He is reactive to other dogs, and can be very excitable so we were a bit worried how he would get on. He was absolutely fine, and we will definitely be asking Rhiannon to look after him again soon.”
About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. All I need to work is an internet connection and a space for my laptop, and I rarely have more than 1 meeting a day. I also have a car for getting around and emergencies. Pets in my care are never left alone for extended periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual routines, whether that means regular walks, play sessions, medical needs, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.

Updates were regular and detailed, which is so important and allows you to enjoy your holiday, took time to understand Theo’s normal routine and clearly given him lots of care, attention and outdoor stimulation. End result is our dog returned happy and tired out (in a good way!). Wouldn’t hesitate to use them in future and thanks again for being great boarders :)”
“Our pets had a wonderful time with Sabrina! She made such a fuss of them, and set them up so comfortably - the cats had their own "suite", with cubbies and plenty of blankets, and our dog was all set up on the end of the bed. She spent several days calmly getting to know our animals in their own space and at their own pace, so they could comfortably warm up to the new surroundings in their own time. She sent us daily photos and updates on how they were doing, and was always very quick to respond to my messages. They were all showered in cuddles and love, and we feel like Sabrina really treated our pets as her own.”

Scout was more than happy staying in Leah’s house and settled well after being out. He received a bath after a mucky walk and was happy playing with toys along with Ripley. We got lots of videos and photos to keep us up to date with how he was getting on, which was very much appreciated. He was very well cared for: lots of walks, playing, kept comfortable and cosy and brushed daily! His coat was so neat and soft when he came home again! We would definitely be happy to leave him with Benny again.”
