I used Sophie's Daycare services for my 2 Dachshunds. She replied to my request very quickly and agreed to look after them at short notice, which really helped me out of a sticky situation. As soon as I dropped them off I could tell my pups were immediately comfortable with Sophie and her home. I got photo and message updates throughout the day to see how much fun my babies were having (and Sophie too, I think). I will 100% be using her services again, and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Thank you again, Sophie!

Have been using Leigha’s dog sitting service for a few weeks now and will continue to do so. Rufus absolutely loves it at Leigha’s house! As a 4 month old puppy, spending time with Leigha, her family and dogs has been great for his development. Having well behaved dogs in her family, I felt instantly reassured leaving my puppy in Leigha’s care! From the get go, Leigha showed a genuine interest in Rufus’ schedule - leaving me confident that he would be well looked after. Lovely to see photos and videos of Rufus enjoying himself! He definitely tired himself out today and has been sleepy and cuddly all evening hehe. Thank you Leigha!

My first time using this app and I am so grateful that I met Andrew, we went for a walk on our first meet and got to spend some time with my dog Molly which they got on so well and he handled her pulling and being hyper in a new environment. Andrew also put me at ease with all my questions and made me feel comfortable. Molly then spent the day with Andrew and I honestly did not feel stressed or worried about how she was getting on, I did message and got a quick reply and photos am really happy with how the whole day went and would recommend him and molly will definitely be back

About: People should choose me because I put genuine care and attention into every walk. I understand that dogs need more than just exercise—they need patience, affection, and someone who really pays attention to their personality and safety. I’m reliable, calm, and committed to making sure each dog feels happy, comfortable, and well-cared for. Owners can count on me to treat their pets as if they were my own. As a film student at university, I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of free time throughout the week, making it easy for me to fit in regular dog walks. My classes and projects often vary from day to day, which means I’m available during mornings, afternoons, and even some evenings. This flexibility allows me to be dependable and consistent, giving each dog the time and attention they deserve without feeling rushed. When caring for pets in my home or a pet owner’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and calm environment. I follow the owner’s routines closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play habits, and any special instructions—so the pet feels secure and at ease.

This is Izzy's third stay with Shauni and she has the best time. The Rover cards that Shauni fills out are really detailed, it's great to hear what Izzy has been up to.

Isabel was wonderful, warm & friendly. Communicated very well to me how Benji spent his day. Benji has separation anxiety, which was managed and with compassion & understanding. Isabel was also very flexible when our plans changed. I am certain we will ask for her services again and can 100% recommend her.

Dutton had her first overnight stay with Hannah in preparation for a longer stay later on in the year. Our wee dog had a great time there with Hannah and Pepper. Was given plenty of information during her stay which was very reassuring. Feeling very relaxed about Dutton's longer stay as she was so well looked after. Would highly recommend Hannah.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Clackmannanshire on Rover is £23 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,424 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Clackmannanshire. About 88% of Clackmannanshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Clackmannanshire commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
