“Cristina and her daughter looked after our springer spaniel, Rosie, for 3 nights. She was made to feel right at home. Cristina kept in touch with pictures to let us know she was having a lovely time. We hope Rosie can stay again sometime ❤️🐾 thank you!”

“Jodie was amazing with my two Frenchies. I was a little nervous leaving them but they loved her! She kept me updated with pics and messages to let me know how they were doing. She was lovely and my babies loved her 🫶🏽”

“From the second we met Isobel for the meet and greet she put us at ease. Blaze can be wary with new people. but he went straight to Isobel as if he'd known her all his life. When he went to stay for his holidays, he didn't even bother about us when we left-no whining or backwards glance to us. We received regular updates on how he was settling in and various photos of him out on his walkie adventures which was so nice to see. Blaze ate all his food while he was with Isobel which is testament to how relaxed and comfortable he was in his new environment. He received loads of cuddles and attention too. The only fear we had when going to collect him was that he wouldn't want to leave his new home from home. We would not hesitate to recommend Isobel and will most definitely be using her again.”

“Michele was just wonderful with our two boys. From the start to the finish I had full confidence in her professionalism and dedication to the well-being of dogs and that her care would be excellent. She puts real thought into every aspect of boarding pets. Also, her warmth and the regular pictures and status updates confirmed that our pups were not only in good care, but also loved! Highly recommend.”

“Dutton has had her first overnight stay with Alison and she has had a great time and been looked after so very well. Alison sent photos and updates throughout which was reassuring. I'm feeling much more relaxed now about leaving her for a longer stay when we go away later in the year.”

“We used Kirsten to look after our spaniel a couple of months ago for the night. She was lovely, friendly and clearly experienced with dogs. Rudi is young and quite bouncy but this didn’t phase her and it was clear Rudi had a great time with her. Thank you!”

“Sophie was amazing at keeping me updated with photos & messages during George's stay which put my mind at ease. He looked like he was having a great time & slept like a baby when I brought him home so he obviously had a lot of dun dueing his stay. I will definitely use Sophie in the future. 😀”

“We were delighted Amy could look after Layla for us. From the first communication and meeting we were confident Layla would be well looked after. We loved the photos and updates while we were away and Layla seemed very happy and content. We would be very pleased to book with Amy again.”

“Booked Andrew for two weeks for two French Bulldogs end of September. after an overnight stay to see if they would settle. They happily ran to Andrew for their two week holiday. Cheeky beggars never looked back to see where I was. They were so happy to be back. Will definitely book again, they were so well looked after and reluctant to leave their new friends.”

About: I have loved dogs all of my life but unfortunately the time was never right to have one of my own. My love for dogs only grew when my parents decided to get a puppy, Angus, in my early 20s whilst I was still living at home due to being a full time student. Angus’ mum is a working springer spaniel and his dad a miniature poodle which makes him a sproodle! Think high energy, super friendly and fluffy! I trained Angus as a puppy and took him to puppy classes, socialising and walking groups. I continue to support my parents to develop Angus’ training, particularly when out walking as Angus loves to chase leaves! My friends have relied on me in the past to look after and walk their dogs which I have always been grateful to help with! I have also supported a family member to re-home a rescue dog. I have experience administering weekly ear drops as prescribed by vets. I work a hybrid working pattern which means that I am able to work from home part of the week. This means I will be able to look after, play with, and get some extra steps in with furry friends. I am available, particularly at the weekends, for boarding services. I have a fenced back garden and there are lots of pathways and grassy areas nearby for your furry friends to sniff and do their business! I have sufficient space to accommodate your pets crate, if this is their safe place, and best for them to bring with them.

“Great host! My dog Skye was well looked after. Pictures and updates sent of her out and about and relaxing at the home. I would definitely recommend and seek to send my dog on her holiday here.”

“Alba is so comfortable around Rachel, she makes Alba feel right at home. She even gets excited as we are walking up to the front door now! Would absolutely recommend Rachel as a sitter, she’s very knowledgable with dogs and is so patient with Alba.”

About: I am a dog mum and being with a dog is the best thing I can imagine to do. I use to care for while I was younger, walks, baths, vet visits even injections when needed. I am working on the bank as a support worker, I don't have the same schedule every week. I will update my availability regularly 😊 I have a fanced garden and very chill medium size dog. On the walks I will follow your advice to make sure that your pup is safe and happy 😌
“Otto loves Barry, and I have to say has an extra soft spot for Hilary! Barry keeps him warm and cosy, and also take him on amazing walks in the woods and fields. Otto has the best times running and playing. Thank you Barry.”

“I can’t recommend Rhona highly enough! She took exceptional care of Mindy, and it was brilliant that Mindy got to spend time with another Border Collie, Lottie. Receiving so many lovely pictures while we were away was fantastic. Rhona is a wonderful, trustworthy sitter who we will definitely use again. A+”

“Justine house sat for us and took care of our cat. I originally didn’t like to go on holiday and leave my cat, but once I found Justine, my mind was at ease and I felt comfortable to leave my cat in her own home with great company and care. Communication was great and I was kept updated with cute photos of khaleesi through the week. There were no issues at all and the stay went very smooth. I’d use Justine again for vet and house sitting any day! The house was just as we left it when we got home after our holiday and our cat was relaxed and content. Very great experience! Thanks Justine!”

“Maddy was absolutely fantastic! She really reassured us every step of the way when taking care of our little cat, Miso. She provided updates every day, with pictures and videos. Reassured us that Miso was eating and drinking perfectly, and using his litter as normal. It really allowed me and wife to fully relax on our Minimoon. “I used Sophie's Daycare services for my 2 Dachshunds. She replied to my request very quickly and agreed to look after them at short notice, which really helped me out of a sticky situation. As soon as I dropped them off I could tell my pups were immediately comfortable with Sophie and her home. I got photo and message updates throughout the day to see how much fun my babies were having (and Sophie too, I think). I will 100% be using her services again, and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Thank you again, Sophie!”

About: I'm a dog owner and have spent years dog sitting for friends with dogs of every size and health need, from bouncy pups to older dogs with mobility issues. My own dog, Rex, is getting on in years and has arthritis, so I know first-hand how important it is to have care that's tailored to your dog's pace, whether that's a gentle amble or a proper adventure. I joined Rover because Rex can't manage the long runs in the woods and by the river that she used to love, and I wanted to give her some company from other dogs, plus keep myself company on walks too! I'm just as happy providing a slow, sniffy stroll for an older or less mobile dog as I am tiring out a young, energetic one. I live on a quiet, gated street with a small, secure fenced garden, right opposite a park, so there's plenty of space for toilet breaks, playtime, or just pottering about safely. I work remotely so can be home all day. I'm flexible on how much or how little walking your dog needs and I treat every dog in my care with the same patience and attention I give my own. My life revolves around my dog and what she needs. It's her house - I just pay the bills! I work remotely so I am home all day, and love to get up at the crack of dawn for a good walk through the lovely countryside around Bannockburn and Clackmannanshire. My house is smallish and I have a small fenced in garden (16 sq ft) but lots of green space around me. My own dog is very independent and spends most of her time alone upstairs (I think she's part cat), so your dog can have the sofa all to themselves :)
“Markus was very good with my dog. He took very good care of Milo and he came back really happy. Marcus is quite prompt in his relies and would definitely recommend him to others.”

“Alison was great with Max. She’s a fantastic dog-looker-after. She kept us well updated and we felt he was being really cared for. Max seemed to be happy and relaxed so we are too. We absolutely recommend Alison and will be looking to her to look after Max again.”

“Leigha was a great find, set our mind at ease from the beginning and made us feel safe leaving Ollie in her care. Ollie had the best time making friends with Leigha’s dogs, something I was very happy to see as Ollie can still be unsure of other dogs. Leigha was very easy to get in contact with and answered all our questions timeously! We would definitely love to let Ollie have more day care with Leigha! Thank you again :)”

“Amy helped me out at very short notice, was extremely accommodating with my need for an unsociable hours drop off, and kept me updated with Poppins’ adventures during the day. Would highly recommend and Poppins clearly had a great time in safe hands. She will be back! 🐾🐾”

“A great experience. Laura was great with Daisy. I was really grateful of the time she took to meet us first and make sure Daisy would be happy with her and importantly they would be happy with Daisy! I would be very confident in leaving Daisy with Laura again. She was very well cared for and had a lovely day. Thank you!”

About: Hello, I'm Justine, a Masters student at the University of Stirling and a dedicated pet sitter located in Menstrie, Scotland. I have a passion for caring for all kinds of pets. I've had pets all my life, ranging from dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles. Right now I have two adorable cats! Your furry friends will be safe and happy in my care. My previous pet sitting experience includes caring for large breeds, high-energy breeds, puppies, dogs with medication requirements and limited mobility, and multiple cats (both homestays and pop-in care). I drive and have my own car (with a spacious boot for adventurous dog walks). If you're looking for a reliable and friendly pet sitter, feel free to message me. I'm here to help and would love to meet your beloved pets! I'm currently writing my Master's dissertation, so I am quite flexible in my availability for pet care. I have my own car so am able to reach more remote locations and be flexible with timings. I offer pet sitting in the owner's home (overnight stays) as well as pop-in care and dog walking services. As I have two cats at home, I do not offer pet boarding in my own house. I believe that it is most comfortable and beneficial for the pet to remain in their own home if possible. This ensures that your pet is able to stay in a familiar environment and maintains their normal routine to reduce stress whilst the owner is away. For dog walking, I aim to offer adventurous and varied walks including woodlands, fields, parks and rivers. If your dog is comfortable in cars, I am happy to drive to local walks for your dog to explore new places.

“Rose is an absolute delight - extremely reliable, gives us regular updates whilst on walks, and very understanding of the behavioural needs of our rescue boy. Rusty absolutely loves her, and gets very excited when she arrives for their adventures. We couldn't recommend enough.”

About: Growing up in the countryside on a farm, I have never not had dogs, from working dogs to rescue dogs I have grown up with a range of fury siblings. My first job age 13 was in a kennel opposite my house where I returned to work each summer until I was 17, the kennel was also home to a greyhound rescue, and working with the dogs in the kennel helped me learn more about dog behaviour and gave me exposure to a range of breeds. Sadly my 3 family dogs have all passed from old age over the past two years and during that time I moved to Scotland. This has left such a big paw print shaped hole in my heart and I cherish any time I can have with dogs. More recently I have been joining my friend on her walks as a dog walker in Edinburgh which has inspired me to start dog walking & pet sitting myself locally to me. I’m currently working part time in a bar on the weekends so I have plenty of time throughout the week to look after your lovely pets! I can also be flexible with my work where needed which means I’m never stuck to a strict schedule. I have a fenced garden which is shared with two neighbouring dogs who love to play. I live near a park also which is perfect for dogs to run around and soak in all the smells.
About: I know how anxious it can be leaving your pets or avoiding booking trips because you’re worried about who will look after them? I have 2 cats of my own binx&toby and with them being house cats it’s a daunting thought leaving them in someone else’s hands. That’s why in my free time I wanted to be able to offer support to other families who want someone they can trust to look after their fur babies. although I have my own cats I have grown up arounds dogs of all sizes🤣 we have a naughty jack russel in our family who thinks she’s a big dog so I am very experienced in dog care and dog walks and take extra care with dogs that may have their own challenging quirks🙈i have plenty of experience of dog sitting and cat sitting in the past for friends and family. My main priority is making sure pets are safe, comfortable and well looked after as if they are my own. I also have stable & horse experience- i previously used to horse ride and my partners family own horses. Professionally I work as a full time nurse and love my job! with only working 3 shifts a week and having notice on my shift rotation it gives me a bit of flexibility. any questions please feel free to ask! I work x3 12hr shifts a week- mostly nightshifts so taking a few hours out of my day to check in with your pets is no problem I treat all animals as if they where my own and follow the owners wishes 100% keeping your pets safe and having respect for your home when carrying out visits is a huge priority.

“Emma was fantastic with our border collie, Arran, over the 4 days she walked him. He always came back happy, tired, and clearly had a great time. She took him to a nearby park for proper long runs, which he absolutely loved. The daily photo updates always made me laugh haha, and Emma was always reliable, on time, and great with communication. Most importantly, Arran was genuinely happy being walked by her, which gave us real peace of mind. We’d book with Emma again in a heartbeat!”

About: We may have pets, but when it comes to unconditional love, they are the masters. Ever since I can remember I have taken care of dogs, cats and birds. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play and look after your pet either indoor or outdoor. I am often out and about climbing hills and going for walks. During my visit it's essential for me familiarize myself with your pet and learn when it eats, drinks, and goes for a walk. Bonding with your baby is essential as it encourages your peace of mind having left your loved one in my watch. Key reasons why some kennels might not be suitable for dogs: Being in an unfamiliar place with many other dogs can cause significant anxiety for some dogs, especially if they are not well socialized. Kennels may not be able to provide the level of individual care needed for dogs with specific needs or behavioral issues. Close contact with other dogs can increase the risk of contracting contagious illnesses like kennel cough. Some kennels may not offer enough playtime or mental stimulation for dogs, leading to boredom and frustration. If the kennel is too small for a dog's size, it can cause discomfort and restrict movement. Lack of regular cleaning can lead to the spread of bacteria and parasites. Staff members who are not properly trained in handling dogs could potentially mishandle or neglect animals. Every pet's mental, emotional, physical, nutritional, and intuitive health is of utmost importance to me, and I will remain steadfast in my commitment to provide for every pet as though they are my own.
About: I have had dogs since I was a child however living in a flat with one wouldn't be easy so I have decided to wait until I purchase a house with a garden so will pet sit until then! I now work from home so I can house sit as long as there is a solid internet connection to allow your dog to be in its own space whilst I am there to reduce stress. I have my own vehicle to get to and from in the Stirling area also. I work full time from home or anywhere remote - 08.00- 16.00 Mon- Fri so happy to house sit any hours during this time. It's also easy for me to pick up new hours and alter schedules to what is needed. I have cats currently and probably way over protective of them, so I know how important any pet parent is about leaving their beloved animal with someone. I would always be extra attentive.

“Dutton has had her first overnight stay with Alison and she has had a great time and been looked after so very well. Alison sent photos and updates throughout which was reassuring. I'm feeling much more relaxed now about leaving her for a longer stay when we go away later in the year.”

“Great host! My dog Skye was well looked after. Pictures and updates sent of her out and about and relaxing at the home. I would definitely recommend and seek to send my dog on her holiday here.”

“Would highly recommend Craig who looked after our German shepherd for 5 days. He was well walked and played with too. He was thoroughly spoiled by Craig and his wife. Craig also kept us updated with photos on their walks etc which reassured us. Would definitely ask Craig to look after our dog again !!”

“Laura looked after our boy today and he was extremely well looked after. Laura met our dog before to ensure he would settle which was a good step. It was extremely warm so Laura provided fun water based activities to keep him cool. Communication before, during and after was first class. He came back happy and tired. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Laura to anyone.”

“Harris and Maria are the best. They looked after my Kobe with great care and attention and kept us informed daily to let us know how he was getting on. Five star service. Sandra & Tom”

“Found Josephine through this app! She took time to Meet our dog before the booking! During our break she kept in touch and updated us regularly! Dog came home happy, would use Josephine again to watch him”

“This was our first experience of using dog sitting and it has been a godsend. Angela and Steven treated our fur baby with such care and attention and this really helped us enjoy our break away. Alfie clearly had a great time and all the updates and pictures showed us this. Great sitters, would highly recommend. Will definitely use again.”
