“Lorenzo has taken great care of Mylo since he was just 6 or 7 months old and Mylo always goes to Lorenzo happily and comes home with a wagging tail! Lorenzo is very flexible with my work hours and sometimes last minute requests and changes and is great at keeping in touch woth lots of photos of Mylo playing happily with his own dogs. Would always recommend Lorenzo for your own dog care!”

And she handled what was a very stressful situation very professionally and calmly as she and 2 of our neighbours tried to catch a difficult dog, she managed to get her home safe and sound, leaving us with a very tired dog and what I expect is a very tired and stressed dog sitter! About: I had a family dog growing up, took care of stray dogs while living in Thailand, and shared a Springer spaniel for a couple of years. For 8 years, me and my husband lived with the wonderful, much loved Daisy, a reactive rescue staffie who needed a lot of love, attention and care. Daisy died in January 2023, and since then I've taken care of a friend's beautiful black lab for a couple of months. I did a Dog First Aid course with Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home in June 2023, and I offered dog boarding until the end of 2023. I was away in Australia this year - and took care of my sister's gorgeous Jack Russell cross Freddie. I'm now back in Edinburgh and ready to offer boarding to one dog at a time. I want owners to be able to relax and enjoy a holiday, knowing that their beloved pet is being cared for and lavished with attention, cuddles and love! Because Daisy was a reactive dog, and for her last few years, a senior dog, I'm confident to offer boarding to dogs who are reactive to other dogs, and to older dogs who might have additional needs. We live in a big upper Villa with an enclosed garden, so it's perfect place for dogs to relax and enjoy themselves. I work from home, so dog sitting fits in with my routine really well. Typically I work for an hour, then have a break. I love walking every day. I'm happy to get up early or stay up late if that's what your dog is used to - keeping their normal routine as much as possible. Your dog will be a bit stressed being away from you, so I want to do everything I can to help them relax and enjoy themselves. I live in a big place with a dog safe garden. Even though it's secure, I won't leave your dog alone in the garden, I'll always be there keeping an eye - or playing with them! I'm within 20 minutes walk of Blackford Hill, the Meadows and Holyrood Park, and there are a couple of quiet cemeteries nearby perfect for walks as well. I'm a short drive away from the beach and the hills, and I'll want to take your dog places they'll enjoy. I did the Dog First Aid course so I also feel confident about recognising when a dog needs extra help, and I'm a 5 minute drive away from an emergency vet hospital.

Drop off and pick up went very smoothly and Heather sent a couple of photos during the day which is always much appreciated. She is calm and assured and patient. About: Hi, I’m Kathryn! I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a working Cocker Spaniel called Bracken from the age of 8, and he was a huge part of my life until he sadly passed away a few years ago. Since then, I’ve really missed having dogs around. While I’m not quite in a position to have a dog of my own at the moment, I’d love to welcome dogs back into my life by helping other owners care for theirs. Whether it’s a walk, day care, or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will always treat your dog as if they were my own. I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all personalities and energy levels. I’d be happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I work full time but mostly from home and can be very flexible as to when I go into the office! I go for long daily walks so would love to have a dog to keep my company :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom ground-floor flat with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. Being on the ground floor also means easy access to a garden area just outside! As I don’t have any pets of my own, your dog will receive my full attention and care during their stay. I understand that every dog has their own routine and needs, and I’ll do my best to maintain these to help them feel safe, settled, and comfortable. Whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a quieter environment, I’ll provide a calm, caring space where they can feel right at home!!
